Virtual Tours of Spain’s Mainland
Even a week in Barcelona is not enough time to explore this city (it has so many hidden gems ), so obviously, a virtual visit will only give you a tiny glimpse of its beauty.
But if you’re ready to give it a try, you can have a look at the city from above or check out the online tours of the top Gaudi buildings in Barcelona – the Sagrada Familia , Casa Batllo , La Pedrera , and Park Güell .
Absolutely NOTHING will ever make me feel like I do when I’m walking through the streets of Madrid, but I’m actually loving this virtual tour of the city from above .
You can also enjoy virtual visits to Retiro Park , Sabatini Gardens , Almudena Cathedral , Royal Botanical Garden , and the National Museum of Archeology .

Seville was one of my favorite places to visit in southern Spain .
I had to include it on my Andalucia road trip itinerary because I couldn’t have missed its beautiful Plaza de España, colorful neighborhoods, and historical landmarks.
If you want to visit the city online, you can see it from above or take a tour inside one of its most important UNESCO sites – the Cathedral .
I fell in love with Valencia while attending the Fallas festival .
Strolling through the streets of the old town, admiring the landmarks, visiting the City of Arts and Sciences, feasting on delicious paella, and discovering the city’s hidden gems were pure joy.
If you want to visit Valencia virtually, you can see the city from above and visit the City of Arts and Sciences (or the Oceanografic specifically), which is one of the top things to see in the city .
Short but sweet, this tour will take you to Avila , a UNESCO city famous for its intact medieval walls and Romanesque and Gothic churches.
San Sebastian
San Sebastian, aka the food capital of Spain, is truly one of the most stunning places I have visited in northern Spain . From the old town to La Concha beach to Monte Igueldo’s lookout point, this city is a paradise. That’s why I was thrilled to find this virtual tour .
After taking this virtual tour of Salamanca (which shows it by both day and night), I think this city needs to be way higher on my Spain bucket list.
This intriguing glance at its Old Quarter (which is a UNESCO site) and 12th-century university (the world’s third oldest university still in operation) definitely inspires me to visit Salamanca ASAP.
Alcala de Henares
I’m so happy I got to take a day trip from Madrid and visit Alcala de Henares , the birthplace of Miguel de Cervantes – the legendary author of Don Quixote .
Although this virtual tour is pretty short, it’ll take you through the beautiful Cervantes Square, Cervantes Museum (which is housed in his childhood home), and the University of Alcala.
A popular day trip from Barcelona is the town of Figueres, the birthplace of Salvador Dalí, and where you’ll find the Dalí Theatre-Museum (a museum that was designed by the artist himself).
If you want to visit this unique museum and explore the largest collection of Dalí’s works of art, take this virtual tour .
The Alhambra
Any Spain lover has visited or wants to visit this internationally famous UNESCO site.
So if you’re sitting at home, thinking ‘I wish I could be there right now,’ maybe this short virtual tour of the Alhambra will cheer you up a bit.
Region of Extremadura
If I had to pick one region in Spain that REALLY doesn’t get enough attention, it would be Extremadura. I myself am dreaming of a Spanish road trip through this undiscovered region.
If you’re not quite sure what it has to offer, these virtual tours of its natural landscapes, old villages and castles, and medieval cities will certainly ignite your wanderlust.
If you haven’t had the chance to visit the mountain of Montserrat and its monastery, this tour will show you the area from above, as well as the inside of the basilica.
Royal Place of Olite
Probably one of the most fairytale-like places in Spain, the 13th-century Royal Palace of Olite is an impressive former palace of the Kings of Navarre .
Until you get the chance to see this stunning piece of history in real life, explore it with this virtual tour.
Camino de Santiago
The Camino de Santiago (the Way of St. James) is probably the world’s most famous network of pilgrim routes. Ending in Santiago the Compostela, the different paths start in Spain, France, or Portugal.
Though it’s a bit difficult to cover the entire Camino de Santiago online, you can have a glance at the Northern Way , the French Way (including touring the inside of the Cathedral of Burgos ), and Santiago de Compostela .
Malaga and Costa Del SOL
From monuments to beaches to unique natural spaces, here’s a virtual tour of Malaga and the Costa del Sol .
Palace of Gaudi in Astorga
Astorga is a small city located less than an hour away from Leon, and its highlight is definitely the Episcopal Palace, designed by the genius Antoni Gaudi.
It’s one of the few buildings by Gaudi outside of the region of Catalunya, so if you want to have a little peek, check out this virtual tour .
Taking a day trip from Madrid to Segovia is a must.
Once you’re there, it’s easy to understand why its Roman aqueduct, its Gothic cathedral, and its fairytale castle (along with other famous Spanish landmarks in the old city) were declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
To visit Segovia online, you can explore the city from above , have a closer look at its landmarks , or take a virtual tour of its castle (one of the best virtual tours of castles in Europe ).
Camino Natural de la Ruta Del Cantabrico
Stretching along the coast of the region of Galicia, Ruta del Cantabrica is a scenic walking and cycling trail in northern Spain .
While it’ll only give you a sneak peek of the route, this tour will surely make you want to explore this underrated part of Spain.
Camino Natural de la Hoya de Huesca
Another walking trail you can visit virtually is La Hoya de Huesca, which is quite close to the Pyrenees. Though the tour only shows a tiny part of the path, you’ll get to see some beautiful sceneries.
Roman Theatre of Merida
Constructed in the years 16 and 15 B.C.E, the Roman Theatre of Merida is one of the largest archaeological sites in Spain and a must-visit UNESCO site. You can explore it with this virtual tour .
Region of Aragon
This underrated Aragon is home to so many beautiful places, from Zaragoza to Albarracin to the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park, and this website offers dozens of virtual tours of this region.
Spain Virtual Tours: Spanish Islands
I find the Canary Islands extremely intriguing. With their volcanic landscapes, green mountains, black sand beaches, and coastal towns and villages, these islands are a dream destination of mine.
That’s why I was so thrilled to find this amazing virtual tour of Tenerife from above . It definitely fuels my wanderlust and proves that Spain is full of surprises.
La Gomera is the second-smallest of the Canary Islands, and what it lacks in size, it makes up for in gorgeous natural landscapes.
With over 600 km (372 miles) of walking trails, it’s a hiker’s heaven, so if you want to take a peek at what it has to offer, take this short virtual hike .

Online Guided Tour in Tenerife
Highlights:
It is for you if you:.
Don't forget:
Full description.
If there is one thing about Tenerife that makes travellers come back is the number of unique places .
The last year changed our lives completely. We had more from sadness, insecurity, worries and lockdown than from smiles, happy exploring and unlimited adventures.
In these “new normal” times we believe that Tenerife is a gorgeous place even online . We see that because of so many travel restrictions, PCR tests and frequent changes of the airline companies visiting Tenerife is still complicated.
This situation leads us to create our first (and hopefully not the last) online tour. On this trip, we will guide you through the fascinating rocks of Los Gigantes and show the natural pools around, search the secret of the pirate’s village - Masca, bring you to a local restaurant in Buenavista del Norte. After lunch, we take the bus to the Lighthouse of Punta de Teno and on our way back enjoy a stunning sunset at the famous black sand beach – Playa de la Arena.
During our excursion, we hid a little treasure box , so when you visit the Island you need to find it to get a great gift from us.
Do you find it exciting? Will you be part of it?
When it comes to deciding what to do in Tenerife , there are many options to choose from. The island is home to a variety of attractions, including beaches, museums, and hiking trails. While it is possible to explore Tenerife on your own, there are also a number of guided tours available. No matter what your interests are, there is sure to be something on the island that will appeal to you.
With so many things to do in Tenerife, it's no wonder that the island is one of the most popular vacation destinations in Europe. No matter what your interests are, you're sure to find something on the island that appeals to you. So start planning your trip today and get ready to experience all that Tenerife has to offer!

Know more abour our Guided Visits
Did you know the Auditorio boasts one of the best acoustics in the world?
Both the majestic wing wrapping the building and its curved outline or the white trencadís that covers it, make everyone who visits it for the first time have the deep feeling of being before something truly different and original, an animated body moving very supplely. Such is the effect of the curved lines of the Auditorio. These are its main features that combine perfectly to shape room after room, halls,…curves per excellence, majestic, elegant. Unmatchable.
Get to know the Auditorio de Tenerife from the inside, learn about its history, its many curiosities in our guided tours.
Due to the venue activity, the time of the tours may vary and some halls may not be available.
During the guided tour you may take photos and make videos, except in those places indicated by your guide. Sound recording is forbidden throughout the tour.

The Auditorio de Tenerife has been designed to make music available to everyone, so it has different accesses and particular care has been taken to make it available to wheelchairs.
There are spaces for the exclusive use of people in wheelchairs. These areas have no seats so that users can enjoy the show in their own wheelchair. Seats in these areas are only available to users of wheelchairs. Purchasing a ticket for these areas without being in a wheelchair gives no right of entry to the auditorium and the ticket cannot be changed or refunded.
We have hand- disinfection points throughout the building, we constantly keep the common areas and halls clean , we have forced air renewal , which always comes from outside and operates regardless of shows taking place in the halls. The use of the mask is not mandatory but responsible use is recommended.
We kindly request the audience to follow the signage and staff instructions . Once the show has finished, we also recommend leaving the halls in staggered "waves".
Due to our environmental commitment, we do not print programs, but you can check them on our website under each event or using the QR codes that appear in the display totems.
CONTINGENCY PLAN
Have you ever wondered about what to do if you are late for one of our shows or whether you can leave your suitcase somewhere? What to wear for a concert, when to clap or when to arrive for the show?
Here we answer some of your questions so that you can make the most of your visit to the Auditorio de Tenerife.
New safety and prevention measures
For the sake of everyone’s safety and comfort, we have established a set of safety and prevention measures so that you’re fully safe when you come to see us.
How can I buy my tickets?
There are three different ways of getting your tickets:
- → Via the Internet
- → At Auditorio’s box office
- → By telephone on 902 317 327
Check all the information about them here .
What’s the box office opening hours?
- To avoid crowds at the box office and in line with the Auditorium's regulations, priority will be given to users who come to collect or purchase tickets for the day's show.
Are there any spaces for wheelchair users?
Do i have to wear something special is there a dress code.
No, there is no dress code to enjoy the shows at the Auditorio de Tenerife. Please do wear whatever you feel most comfortable in –jeans and trainers are perfectly acceptable–, although if you would like to dress up for a special occasion, please do and enjoy the evening.
Can I bring my children?
Enjoy Auditorio de Tenerife on your own or with your loved ones. It is a place to share and experience together the different shows in our programme.
5-year-old and older children are most welcomed to all our scheduled activities and shows. We have also put together a series of events especially designed for the under 5 and to be enjoyed by the whole family.
What time do doors and the cafeteria open?
The building opens its door 1 hour before the show starts , and the auditorium opens 30 minutes before the performance starts. Check cafeteria opening hourse here .
Can I buy my ticket at the box office just before the concert?
Yes but we recommend you buy your ticket in advance, either online or by phone on 902 317 327 because users coming to collect or buy tickets for the show of the day will be served first.
What happens if I lose my ticket?
If you’ve lost your ticket or couldn’t print it, don’t worry. Tell us about it, we’d be happy to help.
If you notice a few days before the concert, contact Auditorio in the usual opening hours (information line 922 568 611*). If you notice at the time of the show, please talk to our front of house staff. Any document proving the purchase would be most helpful.
* If you wish to buy tickets you need to call 902 317 327 to secure safe payment.
Can tickets be changed or refunded?
Once the ticket has been purchased changes or refunds are only allowed in exceptional cases when show dates are changed or cancelled.
Are there special prices for the underage and the unemployed?
Shows organised by the Auditorio de Tenerife have special prices and discounts. Check them here .
Can I book my ticket?
Auditorio de Tenerife does not allow seat booking.
Do young children pay?
Admission is free for children aged under 2. We would also like to remind you that except for those shows specifically designed for families , our programme is suitable for people over 5 years of age.
What is the best place to meet my friends or companions?
The building itself is quite recognisable. It is close to the bus exchange and the tram stop. It only has one access where you can meet.
Are programmes given with the ticket?
In compliance with the eco measures , you will not be given any printed materials as you walk into the auditorium. You can see the full programme on our website.
Is there a place to leave my suitcase or coat?
Yes, ask to our staff.
Can I get in if I am late?
Access to the auditorium once the show has started is not allowed. However, you may be exceptionally allowed in at a suitable moment, depending on the type of show.
If I have to leave the auditorium, will I be allowed in again?
You cannot access the auditorium again once you leave. Except in specific family shows or in performances that allow for it.
Can I get in with a drink?
We ask you not to as it may be a nuisance to other people. If you wish to carry a bottle of water please ask the hall personnel beforehand.
Can I take pictures or videos?
Responsible use of mobile devices is allowed provided that other users and performers are respected. In classical music and operas taking photographs is not allowed at all.
Are there intermissions? How long are they?
Most shows have a 20 minute break but intermissions can be longer or shorter or there may be none.
You can check this point in the information about the show on our website.
When do I clap?
In classical music concerts and operas you traditionally clap at the end of each piece rather than at the end of each movement so that the music can flow softly between sections or to prepare the scene for the following movement. In the programme you can see the number of movements in each piece.
Having said this, in this type of shows we suggest you look at the conductor who usually signals the end of the piece or, just follow the other people in the audience. At any rate, we love people showing their enjoyment but if you feel uneasy about when to applaud it is always best to wait for others to start…
Can I eat something after the concert?
Yes, you can have dinner at the café.
Is there a car park area nearby?
The Auditorio has its own car park which opens in the morning and closes after the shows. There also parking areas 5 minutes from the building.

Let's Talk
The best virtual tours for education marketing.
How do Virtual Tours help Student Recruitment ?
Education recruitment is a continuous and long process during the academic year. Your admission staff needs to have the best communication tools in order to transmit the institutions´ message amid lower birth rates, overwhelmed staff and busy parents.
Improve Competitiveness
More schools are competing for less students . Virtual Tours allow student recruitment to happen 24/7 and totally online.
Which school do you think the parents will choose? One that gives them easy access to contextualised information or one that forces you to go in just to see what the dinning hall looks like?
Case Studies
Interactive Points
Interactive Points are tags within the virtual tour which enhances the usefulness of the digital twin. It is also a call to action for visitors.
You can add text , photos , videos , audio and links to a specific object and location to tell your brand´s story .
What are the Main Features of Deseo VR´s Virtual Tours?

- How can you share the virtual tour? Every virtual tour has a unique url which can be shared anywhere on the internet. Great use could be on a newsletter, by Whatsapp or even a QR code.
- How long does it take to create an interactive 3D virtual tour? For a virtual tour that is 1500m2, it takes around a day to film and a day to edit. The actual finish time will depend on how fast the school provide us with the audiovisual content and information to fill the interactive points.
- Does the school provide content for the virtual tour? Yes, the school has to provide information and any audiovisual content they wish to add as an interactive point. This is done through collaborating on a simple Google Sheet.
- Does Deseo VR have to go to the site to film? Yes. This is arranged after the contract is signed and first payment is made.
- What is the difference between a video tour and an interactive virtual tour? An interactive virtual tour allows users to freely interact and walkthrough your facilities. Also, it has the full perspective of the space instead of just a selected angle.
- How is the virtual tour displayed? Your IT team can embed the virtual tour on the website using an Iframe. You can also share the virtual tour with a URL.
