At Big Horn Outfitters we offer fully guided archery and rifle elk hunts in Wyoming hunt areas 34, 35, 36 and 45. Most of these areas are in our Special Use Outfitting permit on the Big Horn National Forest and we offer private land hunts as well.

We offer fully-guided hunts for both whitetail and mule deer using either archery equipment or rifles.  Early season deer hunts offer a great opportunity at a full velvet buck while our rifle rut hunts are some of the most exciting hunts we offer.

Antelope hunts are extremely exciting and offer exceptionally high success rates at a reasonable price. You can expect to see lots of animals each day. Our archery antelope hunts are fantastic as well.

Big Horn Outfitters offers hunts for 100% pure Merriams turkeys. These beautiful birds with their white tipped tail feathers are abundant in our hunting areas. These hunts can be fully or semi-guided if you prefer to do your own calling.

Wagonhound is a premier outfitter located in the famous elk area 7. One of the most exhilarating experiences as a hunter is one of our September archery elk hunts and has become a sought after hunt for many television hunting celebrities.

This is a great first-time Wyoming adventure. Offering both archery and rifle hunts, you will see a lot of animals and have a great opportunity to bring home a trophy. Average antelope bucks typically score in the low to mid 70’s with some measuring 80+ inches. This is not a physically demanding hunt.

Our location in central Wyoming gives us access to some of the best hunting in the state. We manage our herd by offering management hunts to continually improve genetics resulting in wide, deep-forked mule deer and whitetail deer bucks. Since we control the hunting on 100% of the 300,000 acre ranch we are able to create quality hunts dreams are made of!

Spring bear hunts in Wyoming take place in May or until the quota fills. All hunting is done over established baits that have been proven strategic locations for many years. Spring is a wonderful time to visit Wagonhound, the scenery is second to none!

Wyoming is famous for big game but also is one of the most sought after areas for Waterfowl hunting. Located near the North Platte River the area is well known for Duck and Goose Hunting. With an open water system combined with the fact that the majority of ducks and geese that arrive in the fall will stay the entire winter, making for prime hunting.

We start our trips in cody, wyoming and we hunt using horses. you will see some of the most magnificent wilderness wyoming has to offer including the yellowstone mountains, herds of elk, grizzly bears, wild rivers and streams filled with fish. the hunting found in these areas is like no other..

With more than 190 years of combined experience between 15 guides, we have one of the best crews around. With one of the best remote wilderness hunting camps and a hunting lodge to serve you, we’re sure we have what you are looking for in a hunt. We personally invite you to come out to Wyoming for what will surely be the hunt of a lifetime.

Our elk hunting is unsurpassed, with one of the best remote wilderness camps and a hunting lodge to work from, we have a lot of country to hunt. This allows us to rarely have more than six hunters in camp each hunt. A large portion of our territory was burned in the forest fires of 1988, and since the fires nature’s regeneration has produced some excellent habitat for elk and deer. We are seeing big healthy animals with good antler mass. We generally are taking mature heavy five and six point bulls.

Bighorn Sheep

Sheep tags are hard to draw and sheep can be tough to hunt, but our passion for the hunt coupled with years of experience gives you the best chance of going home with one of these majestic trophies. Our base camp is in the heart of some of the best sheep country in Wyoming. We hunt not only from this camp but also spike camps.

When it comes to deer hunting we have some of the best in the Rocky Mountain region. Our deer hunts are conducted from our hunting camps and a lodge in the mountains adjacent to Yellowstone National Park where we hunt elk. In fact, during these hunts there is a good chance of seeing elk, bighorn sheep, and all sorts of other wildlife. Because our mule deer herd is migratory, we combine stand hunting with the classic spot and stalk hunt. If you have patience and are ready to shoot straight, you stand a good chance of going home with a dark-horned high mountain ‘mulie.’

The Pronghorn Antelope is truly Wyoming’s trophy. Our antelope hunts are conducted from the lodge or motel, either in 4X4’s or horses. Yes, we do hunt antelope with horses. It is a great experience and the best way to access country that vehicles can’t get to.

Star Valley Outfitters

Star Valley Outfitters is one of Wyoming’s premiere outfitting destinations, offering elk, mule deer, bear and moose hunting for rifle or archery, all from the same camp. If you’re looking to journey on a hunt of a lifetime, you’ve come to the right place. Being immersed in the backcountry, saddled up on your trusty horse, and getting an opportunity to hunt some of Wyoming’s top trophies. This experience will be one you’ll reminisce about for years to come. We are confident that you will be pleased with our level of experience, quality of animals, service, and hospitality.

Our hunt area out of Star Valley, Wyoming, is abundant with elk, mule deer and moose.  There is a small bighorn sheep herd that call our hunt area home, providing an opportunity for a tag holder to capitalize on their slam.  Our area is also known to hold a fair amount of Shiras Moose, allowing the once-in-a-lifetime tag holder an opportunity to punch their tag.  Our elk herds are vast, producing a high percentage of harvest opportunity on a nice 5 or 6 point average bull.  It’s not unheard of to locate a few better than average bulls each season.  Our mule deer are typically of trophy quality.  Our camp has harvested a number of 185”-200”+ bucks over the past several seasons, as featured on Extreme Outer Limits TV.

As far as tags, nonresidents must apply for each species by a certain deadline. Wyoming is an all draw-based state, which means that there is an allocation of tags given each year. Most of the species, such as antelope, elk, and mule deer, are on a 75/25 system, which means 75% of that tag pool is going to go to residents, and 25% is going to go to nonresidents. For the once in a lifetime species, such as moose and sheep, the allocation is 90/10.

We are happy to help you through the application process because it can be complicated and intimidating.

Our hunting season starts in mid-September and goes towards the end of October. The camp has modern-day amenities, and you can bring whatever you can fit in your pickup truck. But once you reach camp, you’ll be hunting on horseback as the area is roadless.

Is located just north of Buffalo, Wyoming on the eastern slope of the Bighorn Mountains of north central Wyoming. We offer fully-guided hunts for elk, deer and antelope. Hunts are conducted on over 100,000 private acres that we have been managing for many years. In addition, I'm licensed to hunt thousands of acres of BLM, State, and US Forest Service land. I feel that we have some of the most game-rich country in the west. We hunt primarily on foot, spot and stalk, and using 4-wheel drive outfits to access our vast country.

We have one guide per two hunters and a full-time cook in all camps. Game is taken to Buffalo for processing. Hunters need to bring only personal gear, rifle, bow, binoculars, a camera, and sleeping bag. A more detailed list is sent after hunt is booked.

Triple Three Outfitters uses only state licensed guides.

Outfitting is my only business, and I take great pride in producing successful hunts for my clients, and value their repeat business. I can assure you a first class experience and 100% effort by my crew and myself.

Wyoming Antelope Hunting

Wyoming antelope hunting with Table Mountain Outfitters provides you with the best possibility of harvesting a trophy animal.  Antelope remains the best first-time western adventure as you will see many animals and have a great opportunity to bring home a trophy. We offer both rifle and archery as well as town or bunkhouse hunts.  Archery dates start as early as Aug. 15th, Rifle dates start as early as Sept. 25th. 

Idaho Bear Hunting

Idaho bear hunting with Table Mountain Outfitters is conducted in the beautiful mountains of South West Idaho.  These Spring hunts offer an excellent opportunity at a color phase bear.

Wyoming Elk Hunting

Idaho Mountain Lion Hunting

Approximately 90% of Toms taken will qualify for Pope & Young.  This hunt uses snowmobiles, quads (sometimes tracked) and 4wd vehicles. A bobcat or wolf can also be added to a mountain lion hunt for an additional charge. Come enjoy one of the most exhilarating hunts you will ever experience.

Wyoming Mule Deer Hunting

Table Mountain Outfitters’ private leases afford you the best opportunity to harvest a trophy animal without the pressure from other deer hunters. The average success rate is 95% – 100% on with more than 100% opportunity. You can expect to harvest trophies ranging from 22”-28” on these Wyoming deer hunts. Both rifle and archery hunts available as well as bunkhouse and town hunts.

"WHAT THE HECK DO YOU MEAN, I didn't draw my dang Wyoming elk license again!!!" I'm sure most of us have either said, or at least heard this very statement, quickly followed by a few other choice words of disappointment! So, if you are like many non-resident sportsmen, you have at least a few questions surrounding Wyoming's big game preference points system. In an effort to help folks better understand how the preference points system works, a few facts, figures, opinions and application strategies will be presented. Understanding the dynamics of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department's big game license drawing may be of real benefit to you in successfully drawing that coveted antelope, deer, elk, bighorn sheep or Shiras moose license, when, where and how you wish to hunt them in future years!

The economic impact of big game hunting in Wyoming

• Wyoming hosted more than 120,000 big game hunters in 2020, of which 60 percent were residents and 40 percent were nonresidents.
• Those hunters, that same year, spent $250 million on gear, travel, guides and other goods and services in Wyoming, which in turn generated economic benefits that extended to all state residents.
• These same dollars went on to support 3,500 jobs…

Elk is the most targeted species by resident and guided nonresident hunters. Antelope and mule deer are the most targeted species by unguided nonresident hunters.

Come Hunt with Us

Double T Outfitters offers quality elk, mule deer, antelope, moose, black bear and antelope hunts. We offer archery hunts, bugle hunts in heavy rut with a rifle and migration hunts. We enjoy some of Wyoming's most game rich country, years of experience and the best guides in the area. We're a serious, hard working, alcohol free camp. So long as the hunter is willing, we hunt in any kind of weather. Some mornings start for the guides as early as 2:30 a.m. and will find us in the saddle hours before daylight just to catch a big bull in one of our favorite meadows or a large muley on a high peak drifting back to his bedding grounds. We take the load off our hunters in every way possible so they can focus all their energy on hunting. We believe we can offer you some of the finest guides, horses, food, camp and hunting that the outfitting industry has to offer.

Being a native son of Wyoming, I come from a heritage of love of the outdoors and the great sport of hunting. My grandfather was on outfitter for several years. He passed his skills and wisdom on to my dad, who then passed it on to me. From the time I could sit in a saddle I was riding along and hunting with my family. I've spent countless hours on horseback riding and enjoying the area. I take great pride in having the opportunity to offer my clients the same great hunting experiences I have been blessed with.

Information

Licenses are acquired on a drawing basis. Wyoming recently started using a preference point system. We recommend that you purchase a preference point. Points are available to purchase July 1st thru October 31. Elk, deer and antelope can be applied for as a single hunter or as a party of up to six hunters. If applying as a party, if any one of the party draws a license, all are issued a license.  Wyoming has designed a system to help non-residents have incredibly high odds at drawing licenses. Ask us about it when you call. You may purchase preference points and apply for a license online at: 

Wyoming Game and Fish

Elk applications have to be in by January 31st, Moose applications must be in by February 28th & Deer and Antelope applications must be in by March 15th. 

No person born on or after January 1, 1966 may hunt in Wyoming without a hunter safety certificate. These can be acquired locally through your own state. 

General Information

We are served by a few airlines into Jackson, Wyoming and most airlines into Salt Lake City, Utah if you choose to fly.  Car rentals are available at Jackson and Salt Lake City airports. If you fly into Jackson Hole airport on the day prior to your first hunting day, we will pick you up at no charge.

We will accept checks for deposits, and we request that first time hunters pay the balance of fees with cash, certified checks, or money orders. The balance of all fees is due upon arrival. Deposit is REQUIRED at the time you book the hunt. Deposits are non-refundable UNLESS you fail to draw the necessary licenses.

We will accept no responsibility for loss or damage to your personal gear. Double T Outfitters, LLC operates under USDA permit BG-032 in the Bridger Teton National Forest and the Targhee National Forest. We are an equal opportunity service provider.

Our camp sits at the mouth of East Table Creek in the grand canyon of the Snake River. We are 25  miles south of Jackson Hole. Base camp can be accessed by vehicle. From there, we hunt the  remote areas of the Bridger-Teton and Targhee National Forests. While residing with us, you will be  staying in a heated tent cabin with a wood floor, spring mattress bunks along with generator  operated electric lights to add to your comfort. We also have some camp trailers if preferred. Our restaurant-style kitchen attaches to a large dining tent. This accommodates our full-time cook who serves delicious all-you-can-eat meals. Our cook is given an un-limited budget. Some of the foods you will eat include steak, shrimp, prime rib, bbq ribs, lasagna and many other ranch style meals.

Archery and Rifle Info

Our archery hunts are for moose or elk. We have had tremendous success at bringing these bulls into the kill zone. We have professionally trained archery guides that really know how to get these  bulls up close and personal. Most of our bulls are taken between 20 and 30 yards. You can expect to encounter a lot of elk on this hunt. We do offer an

archery elk/rifle deer combination hunt that has become a favorite among hunters. Note: Cross bows are legal in Wyoming. 

​ For elk and moose we suggest at least at .270. For the best all-round accuracy we recommend rifles sighted in 3 inches high at 100 yards.

Taxidermy and Processing

If you desire, we will deliver your meat to a processing plant. If you are traveling on a plane or long distance in a vehicle, to insure the safety and preservation of your cape we will take it to a local taxidermist who will flesh, salt and turn the ears. He charges $175 for this service. This amount should be deducted from your local taxidermist when you return home. If you don't have a taxidermist of your own, we can recommend one in our area.

Scenery and Fishing

This is some of the most beautiful country you'll ever lay eyes on. We've heard some of our hunters refer to this as "God's Country".

Bring your pole! After filling your big game tags you may wish to spend the rest  of your trip along the shores of the scenic Snake River. Fishing licenses are included with all elk licenses.
