Tour Summary

Sail up the coastline, snorkel over a Caribbean reef and party all the way back up the coast, all amenities to include snorkeling gears are provided. The duration of the cruise is 3 hours, schedule times are 10:00 am finish 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm finish 6:00 pm. Pick up is recommended for 45 minutes before the starting times for clients staying in the Montego Bay resort area - Ages 3 - 80 are welcome. The morning catamaran booze cruise is an excellent product for Cruise Ship visitors. Start your day with a warm greeting and friendly smile from one of Paradise Travels tour guides. Scheduled pick ups are at 9:00 am and 2:00 pm daily from anywhere in Montego Bay resort areas.  Sail up the coastline, snorkel over a Caribbean reef and party all the way back up the coast, all amenities to include snorkeling gears are provided. The duration of the cruise is 3 hours, schedule times are 10:00 am finish 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm finish 6:00 pm. Shopping is also an option on this tour and flexible, clients can decide to shop before the catamaran departure time or after the catamaran returns. A 45 minutes pickup before the starting time is recommended. For the 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm booze cruise we generally recommend shop before the cruise due to the fact that it starts to get dark at 6:00 pm, in this case transportation pickup is schedule 1 hr and 30 minutes before catamaran start time, clients can either leave their purchase items on shuttle. Ages 3 - 80 are welcome.

It is your responsibility to make sure you are aware of and understand all restrictions pertaining to this tour before booking online or over the phone. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are medically qualified and within any limits listed below in order to participate in this activity. No refunds will be given to those who reserve a spot and can not participate due to the restrictions listed below. • Minimum drinking age is 18 years.
• Refunds will not be issued if tour/activity is missed due to late or non-arrival of cruise ship.

• A small amount of walking is involved.
• If you cancel at least 7 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee. If you cancel between 3 and 6 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 50 percent cancellation fee. If you cancel within 2 day(s) of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Flexible: full refund within a limited period.

For cancellations by Guests, cancellation charges depend on when Island Routes receives notice of the cancellation. Minimum cancellation charges are as follows:

Hotel Guests:

24 hours or less: No Refund

48 hours or less: 50% Cancellation Fee

96 hours or less: 25% Cancellation Fee

96+ hours: Full Refund

Shore Excursions:

96 hours or more: Full Refund

Less than 96 hours: No Refund

60 days prior to tour date: Full Refund

45 days prior to tour date: 50% Cancellation Fee

30 days prior to tour date: 75% Cancellation fee

Less than 30 days prior to tour date: No Refund

All cancellations of, or changes are subject to applicable restrictions. Island Routes Tours will apply any payments made toward the purchase price against any cancellation charges and will refund any balance remaining after the payment of any charges. In order to receive a refund, if applicable, client must request and receive a cancellation confirmation number. The cancellation charges outlined above are liquidated damages and not a penalty. Holiday periods may be subject to additional cancellation charges. NO REFUNDS OR ADJUSTMENTS WILL BE MADE FOR ANY PORTION OF TOUR OR ATTENDANT SERVICES NOT UTILIZED.

Refund Policy: No refunds or adjustments will be made for any portion of your tour not utilized.

Changes to Reservations: All requested changes to reservations are subject to Island Routes' sole discretion, and any changes must be approved in writing.

Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours, and the hotel, do not operate the tours, and for these purposes, the Operators of tours are independent contractors. The Operators of tours are solely responsible for their acts and omissions and Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours, and the hotel, assume no responsibility for such acts and omissions, or for any injury, loss, damage, sickness or accidents sustained on any of the tours offered for sale , including but not limited to any that occur on and/or during the tour, as well as before and after as part of and/or during transport to/from the tour ‐ again, to the exclusion of tours identified as being owned by Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours. Without any exclusion, however, Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours, and the hotel, shall not assume any responsibility for injury, loss or damage to any person that voluntarily participates in cliff diving at any location, including but not limited to Dunn's River Falls or Rick's Café, and/or to any person who voluntarily stops as part of and/or during transport to/from a tour at an unintended destination, meaning one that is separate and apart from the scheduled tour and/or destination. Individuals proceeding in such manner assume any and all responsibility and risk, as this is not a recommended activity. Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours, and the hotel, in addition shall not assume any responsibility for the loss or damage to money, jewelry, clothing or other valuables that have not been tendered to Management for safe keeping. Please note, for your safety, Guest will not be allowed to participate in helicopter tours and/or transfers if they have undertaken any diving exercise within 24hrs prior to departure of said tour/transfer.

LIMITATION OF DAMAGES

Guest HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES that Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours, and the hotel, their parent corporation, affiliates, subsidiaries, insurers, directors, officers, employees, successors, assigns, agents or representatives, SHALL NOT BE LIABLE to Guest for liabilities, claims, actions, damages, cost or expense in any circumstances, for: (A) ANY PERSONAL INJURIES OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING OUT OF OR CAUSED BY ANY ACT OR OMISSION ON THE PART OF ANY Guest(s) and/or Operators of tours, excluding tours identified as being owned by Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours; (B) EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, MENTAL SUFFERING, OR PSYCHOLOGICAL INJURY OF ANY KIND; OR (C) ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES. This specifically includes but is not limited to liabilities, claims, actions, damages, cost or expense ARISING OUT OF OR CAUSED BY food or drink consumed at third party facilities belonging to third party Operators of tours.

Is this excursion suited for someone in a wheelchair? Obviously I wont climb the dunns river, but would like to come with my family and watch.

No it is not suitable for a wheelchair, the access to the catamaran is not great, and would be difficult for anyone with walking difficulties, the catamaran is really crowded, and we had to negotiate another 2 to get on to ours. At Dunns River the jetty it quite rickety and leads straight on to the sand, hope this useful.

Where are bathroom facilities on this excursion?

Down a few stairs.

We have been many times and love it! My question is this trip my grandchildren will be with us. They are 4, 2 and 2. If an adult stays with them can they go on the boat? They would not snorkel or climb.

There were children on our boat and they were allowed to snorkel. They were not as young as your grandchildren, maybe from 5-12yrs old, but they seemed to have a good time. Just keep an eye on them because when the dancing starts, it can get a little crowded and wild. Have a great vacation!

How long is the catamaran ride from sailing to the falls?

Catamaran package deal is supposedly a full-day COURSE, from the point and time you’ll be picked-up from your hotel normally in the morning after breakfast, and then on the shuttle bus that’s where all the fun begins due to the driver makes that excursions fun and interesting.  Then you’ll be dropped off the place where you need to wear your water shoes when you go to your boat and to the falls and back (lots and lots of fun it is all well worth every dollar spent). Have a good time!

How difficult is it to get back on the boat after snorkeling. How far does the ladder go down in the water?

Normal ladder. Probably 2 rungs below water. Very easy. We had all shapes and sizes in our group.

Tour Description

Your tour begins at the Doctor's Cave Beach with our friendly crew welcoming you on board our spacious 53' or 65' sailing Catamaran. After a brief introduction to the crew and the amenities on board, the music flows, the sail unfurl and you depart for your snorkel site. Be sure to bring good sunscreen lotion and a water proof camera to get shots of your favorite moments of this adventure. The blue waters of the Caribbean will be calling you as you begin the sail to your snorkeling location. At the snorkel site, you have an opportunity to observe the marine life surrounding coral reefs within the Montego Bay marine park. All the snorkeling equipment is included and for beginners or non-swimmers, a guide and instructions are provided. Once you've had your salt water dip in Caribbean sea, your bartender is ready to refresh you with an assortment of drinks from our open Jamaican bar, which includes Red Stripe beer on tap, Rum & Vodka drinks, Rum punch, Fruit Punch and assorted sodas. From the snorkel site, you head on over to Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville (weather permitting) where you can feel like a kid slipping down the water slide that spills directly into the sea, or bounce around on their water trampolines. After that brief stop, you will sail along Montego Bay's coast-line, which boasts white sand beaches and sea-side cliffs, all backed by lush verdant hills. Postcard perfect! All the ladies are pampered with foot massages. As you head back to port, it's time to shake up & your crew teaches the latest dance moves.

The bus driver was very patient with me and my girl friends, he acted very professional even though we got a bit rowdy on the way back to the resort.
