I love Australia, and feel the only way to see it properly is by coach, it enables one to get up close to the real Australia and appreciate the variety this country has to offer.
I mentioned a tour about a year ago to North Qld, Port Douglas, Lava Tubes, Gemfields Emerald and you listened and we are booked for this tour. Keep seeking these tours.

Domestic border restrictions have ended for nearly all States, meaning you:
- don’t need to apply for a border pass

- won’t need to quarantine
However, some States and service operators do require proof of vaccination. So all that is required to travel for most Discover Australia packages is to be fully vaccinated. Even WA has now opened up! It is expected that any remaining temporary restrictions will end or ease over coming weeks – since all governments have detailed strategies to live with Covid and to enable their tourism industry to flourish again. Many travel insurance providers are now offering good cover for Covid, including:
- Travel disruptions and additional expenses due to Covid
- Positive Covid test before travel
- Positive Covid test during travel (including need to change travel arrangements / isolation)

- Medical expenses cover
Insurance cover can be very inexpensive, like only $150 for three weeks in Europe # . We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance with Covid cover. Following are some insurance companies: Medibank | TID | AHM | NIB Book now to secure the best deal and biggest savings. Use part of your Early Bird savings to pay for your travel insurance!
#Peace of Mind Guarantee valid for new bookings confirmed from 10 February until withdrawn. See Booking Conditions for details, inclusions and exclusions. #1 You can choose to postpone your holiday to a future date; since prices vary by travel date some alternative dates may be at a higher price. Choosing to postpone closer to travel may incur supplier change fees, but no fees from us. #2 If your holiday is disrupted due to Covid by us (or a service provider) you will receive a Travel Credit to re-book a holiday. Oz East Coast Adventure 28 Days
This trip was easily the best experience of my life. I did the 28 Oz East Coast tour and would recommend it to anyone. I made friends for life and thoroughly enjoyed every single day of the tour. Our tour guides, Val and Eilish, were absolutely incredible and continuously went out of their way to make sure everyone was happy and comfortable. Their knowledge on the places we visited was hugely valued too. Anyone who has either Val or Eilish in future tours will be very lucky and will have an incredible time.
Snorkel to Adventure (3 Days)
This tour was excellent. The skipper and crew worked seamlessly through some rough weather to ensure we had the best opportunity to view the reef with comfortable, clean, and safe accomodations onboard. Exceeded all of my expectations, particularly the chance to discover dive with Christine and the delicious food prepared by Zoe and Joost, who also kept us entertained with his fantastic music selection between dives. Good vibes from everyone working with us really made the trip special!

15 Day Dingo Adventure Tour: Brisbane > Cairns
I loved my tour with Kayla because she doesn’t make it feel like a tour guide-tourist relationship but more of a friendship! She was always down to have a good time and put her passengers first. Her knowledge about the areas were travelling in was also fab.
Gulf Savannah Wanderer (9 Days)
Excellent tour.although the drive from Georgetown to lawn hill was tough it was well worth it.
What people love about Queensland Tours
Really good trip with value for your money. We saw a lot of Australia in such a short time, given how massive Australia really is. Our guide, Tamar, was an absolute sweetheart, knowledgeable, well travelled and very professional. This tour has the right balance of group activities and independent activities if you choose to do so. My only complaint is that some of the accommodations were subpar, which was disappointing given the high cost of this trip.
Had the best 5 weeks of my life traveling the east coast with ultimate travel, our tour guide Zoe was amazing and always happy to help us with anything and had the most fun I couldn’t recommend enough made so many amazing friends and memories to last a lifetime , Zoe your were amazing x

AFL 2024: Essendon hasn’t banned Sam Draper from media, says coach
Essendon coach Brad Scott insists the club hasn’t tried to silence Sam Draper as he races the clock to be fit to face GWS.
‘Won’t take risk’: Hawk blow as skipper sidelined
AFL star banned five weeks for saying one word
Huge ban as AFL condemns latest homophobic slur
Essendon coach Brad Scott is adamant the club has not ordered Sam Draper to step away from his podcast after the ruckman was disciplined last week for his jab at a rival coach.
Draper, who is no guarantee to face GWS on Saturday as he battles a knee issue, would continue to be encouraged to have a strong public presence, according to his coach.
It comes despite Scott saying he was “really disappointed” by Draper’s comments about the future of Luke Beveridge on his 200 Plus podcast that the Bulldogs coach said were “bizarre” coming from a player from another club.
The Bombers coach denied the club had intervened to suspend Draper from the podcast, which is co-hosted by North Melbourne player Charlie Comben and sports journalist Nick Butler.
“We haven’t put a media ban on Sam Draper – that would be doing a disservice to our fans and to all those little kids running around with mullets with No.2 on their Essendon jumpers,” Scott said.
“We want Sam out in the media and in public representing our club. He had a misstep, he learnt from it, we put a full stop on it … now Drapes, more than anyone, wants to move on.
“I want him to be involved in media, podcasts, representing the club in the right way, and I think all our fans want to hear from Sam Draper. We’re certainly not putting a media ban on him.”
Scott said Draper had responded to the incident “like the gun he is” but was still battling a knee issue and in doubt to face the Giants at Marvel Stadium on Saturday.
While the coach was confident Jye Caldwell would play after avoiding damage to his calf during the win over the Eagles, he was less sure of Draper’s availability.
“It will depend mostly on the session (on Wednesday) and how he trains. Hopefully, he feels really good, but we need him to be very close to 100 per cent before we play him,” he said.
“It’s the knee that’s the issue, the previous (groin) surgery he had last year – that’s not the issue that’s keeping him out of playing.
“If he trains well he’ll play, but if he’s not close to 100 per cent he won’t.”
Scott said the Bombers had “learnt their lessons” from the 126-point drubbing at the hands of the Giants in round 23 last year but had spent little time reviewing that clash in the lead-up after it was combed over in fine detail over the off-season.
“We probably reflected on that (game) at the end of last year more than this year, and we think we’ve improved a lot, but time will tell. We’ve had a number of really good tests this year, and this is arguably our biggest,” he said.
Key defender Zach Reid was set to play in the VFL on Saturday if he pulled up well from training following seven weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
“That’ll be a big boost for our group … to get (Reid) back playing footy at any level will be a big milestone for us,” Scott said.
“I think (a block of games in the VFL) is more likely … we’re going to have to resist that urge I suspect to bring him back quickly.
“We just want him to get out and play with freedom, and for the first time in a long time, not be concerned about his body.”
James Sicily returned to the field after dislocating his shoulder last week, but it’s not stable enough for him to play again seven days later.
Gold Coast Suns player Will Powell has become the second AFL player to be banned after using a homophobic slur during a game.
A second homophobic slur this season has resulted in a massive ban for a very apologetic Gold Coast Suns star.

'Really disappointing': Cowboys suffer fourth consecutive loss in nail-biter against the Dolphins
The Dolphins have held off the Cowboys in a thrilling finish in the Queensland derby, winning 28-26 at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.
Star second-rower Felise Kaufusi returned to the Dolphins lineup after spending several weeks on the sidelines, while star five-eighth Kodi Nikorima carved up with four try assists.
Jamayne Isaako scored his third career hat-trick while North Queensland's Jeremiah Nanai powered over to earn a double.

The Dolphins capitalised on a host of late errors from the Cowboys, with the home side unable to convert their final try to take the game through to golden point.
"It's really disappointing," Tom Dearden said on Fox League.
"The most disappointing thing is whenever we give away a penalty or error we're just not defending it and we're giving them way too easy tries and I think the last two weeks it's cost us the two points.
"I think that's the most disappointing thing, our resilience on the try line."
The Cowboys started off with a bang, as Valentine Holmes made a line break off the second tackle and powered down the field.
A play down the line landed in the hands of Kyle Feldt who dove over in the corner.
Three minutes later the home side was back on the board, with Reuben Cotter crashing over three defenders to put the ball down.
Despite North Queensland's early dominance, the Dolphins made a fast comeback into the game, with both Jamayne Isaako and Tesi Niu going over the line.
An error by Dolphins fullback Trai Fuller paved the way for the Cowboys to pounce as second-rower Sam McIntyre spun over the line to put the home side back in front 22-18 at half-time.
The second half started with Isaako scoring his hat-trick before Jake Averillo made it 28-22 in the 69th minute as ball-handling continued to hurt the Cowboys.

"Now the errors are coming thick and fast," commentator Dan Ginnane said.
"They've been their own worst enemies here in the second half, the Cowboys."
North Queensland were given hope at the end when Nanai scored to make it 28-26 but Holmes couldn't convert.
The result places Wayne Bennett 's Dolphins side back into the top four, while the Cowboys have lost four in a row.
The Cowboys have once concern with fullback Scott Drinkwater placed on report just before the half-time after making high contact with Euan Aitken.
"I'm not sure it's too serious, but he did raise his elbow," Mal Meninga said on Fox League.
Dolphins enforcer Felise Kaufusi was also put on report early in the game for a high shot.

Sean strickland's coach: ufc considered khamzat chimaev matchup before paulo costa booking, share this article.
Sean Strickland had options after losing the UFC middleweight title but wound up with Paulo Costa .
Strickland (28-6 MMA, 15-6 UFC) takes on Costa (14-3 MMA, 6-3 UFC) in the UFC 302 co-main event June 1 at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. But before the Costa match became official, Strickland’s head coach, Eric Nicksick of Xtreme Couture, revealed the UFC brass mentioned the possibility of a showdown with Khamzat Chimaev (13-0 MMA, 7-0 UFC) before he was booked against Robert Whittaker at UFC on ABC 6 .
“I know they were hoping for maybe Khamzat, but I don’t think Sean can travel to Saudi Arabia or something – I’m not 100 percent sure,” Nicksick said in an interview with Sportskeeda . “But I know Khamzat’s name was possibly kicked around. Khamzat is going to be a big draw in Saudi, and that fight is more about location than it was about the opponent, in my opinion.”
UFC 302's Sean Strickland on Paulo Costa: 'I'm going to make that dirty Brazilian bleed'
Sean strickland vs. paulo costa: odds and what to know ahead of ufc 302 co-headliner, michael bisping explains why sean strickland has 'significant advantage' vs. paulo costa at ufc 302.
Strickland was campaigning for a rematch with middleweight champ Dricus Du Plessis (21-2 MMA, 7-0 UFC), who took his belt by split decision at UFC 297 in January.
Nicksick praised Du Plessis, and said the South African actually reciprocated interest in running it back immediately, but the UFC had other plans.
“I ran into Dricus, man. I talked to Dricus,” Nicksick said. “Dricus is a class act, man. I really enjoy having conversations with him. We talked about the fight, we talked about life, whatever, and they said that they were asking for the rematch for Sean.
“They were trying to get the rematch, and they wanted to go a different direction that’s probably going to be Izzy (Adesanya), which is no problem. I understand what the UFC is trying to do, but we need to focus on Paulo Costa, we need to get that win, and I think it puts us right back into title contention.”
As for the clash with Costa, coach Nicksick predicts a late finish by Strickland in what will be a five-round fight.
“I think Sean can get him out there by Round 4 or Round 5,” Nicksick said.

Timberwolves plan for Chris Finch to be in Denver for Game 1
Stephen A. Smith has a hilarious reaction to Shannon Sharpe's take over which team wins the series: the Timberwolves or the Nuggets. (2:14)
- Associated Press
MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Timberwolves are planning for coach Chris Finch to be with them in Denver to begin their Western Conference semifinal series following his knee surgery -- and considering seating configurations that would allow him to safely be on the bench during games.
Finch's procedure to repair a ruptured patellar tendon in his right knee Wednesday went well, according to assistant coach Micah Nori, who has temporarily taken the lead in Finch's absence. Finch directed the initiation of the strategy for the Nuggets this week before going into surgery.
The team will fly Thursday night to Denver ahead of Saturday's Game 1. Provided his recovery is on track, Finch would likely travel separately to allow more healing time, Nori said.
In the NBA, the bench is cramped with reserve players and large coaching and training staffs with high-priced floor seats surrounding them to be right on top of the action. It will be a challenge to create enough space for Finch to keep his leg extended, and to be out of harm's way in case another loose-ball chase or player collision comes too close for comfort. The Timberwolves have discussed relocating head athletic trainer Gregg Farnam's seat to give Finch room.
If they can't make that setup work, Finch would likely join the team in the locker room for pregame and halftime meetings and watch the action from above in a suite.
"In typical Finchy fashion, he's like, 'I don't want to sit there and send text messages to somebody behind the bench,'" Nori said.
With largely the same rotation players as last year and a coaching staff with strong chemistry in a third full season together, the Timberwolves are confident they can weather the disruption of Finch's injury without missing a beat on the court.
"I'm not saying Finchy isn't funny and all that stuff, but Finchy can seem a little more serious than Micah, and it's good to have that kind of balance," said point guard Mike Conley , who won the NBA's Teammate of the Year award Wednesday. "Guys really respect Micah and what he brings to our team."
Finch finished third in the voting for the NBA Coach of the Year award, which went to Oklahoma City 's Mark Daigneault.
"He does not want to be the focus. He trusts all of us. He trusts the players. He's like, 'You guys do yourselves. You've done enough,'" Nori said. "The players, at the end of the day, are going to be the ones who decide this series."
Finch was hurt when Conley collided with him late in the Game 4 win at Phoenix that gave the Timberwolves their first series sweep in franchise history.
"He made us all feel better to see him in great spirits the next day and being able to travel back with us," center Rudy Gobert said. "It's unfortunate, obviously, but we're here to support him and we're going to try to make him proud from a distance."
