Dierks Bentley broke out in the country music scene with his 2003 debut hit single "What Was I Thinkin'" off his eponymous debut album. The Phoenix, Arizona-born artist’s playful blend of country, rock and bluegrass shines on songs such as 2005’s steamy ballad “Come a Little Closer,” 2014’s “Drunk on a Plane,” and swooning duets like 2016’s “I'll Be The Moon” with Maren Morris. With nine Top 10 albums under his belt and 15 Grammy nominations, the singer-songwriter has also spent most of the past two decades on the road, touring with the likes of Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley and Miranda Lambert, the latter with whom he hit the road on 2013’s stacked Locked and Re-Loaded Tour. Worth the trip from Florida to Oklahoma

We missed the Gravel and Gold events when on the east coast so flew to Durant, OK for the last night of the tour and it was well worth the trip.

I had never been to Choctaw Grand Theater before and I was not disappointed! The venue was great and the concert was phenomenal. The band came back…twice!! What a treat🤩

Great Venue - Short Show!

We enjoyed ourselves at the Dierks Bentley concert at Choctaw Grand Theater, the venue is great except for having to walk through a smoke filled casino to get to it! The skybridge from the parking garage to the casino funnels a great deal of smoke from the casino right up through it - YUCK!!! We reeked of cigarette smoke the entire show! Dierks is entertaining and has a great show but we felt it was a little on the short side - only a little over an hour of actual music/show. We can't complain too loudly though because we got a great deal through Ticketmaster!

He put in a great show for 1 ½ hours. No opening acts but not expected at a small venue. Really like the venue. Not a bad seat in the place. His banjo player has a fantastic voice. He sang a couple songs.

Bentley has tapped Jordan Davis as direct support with a diverse group of special guests joining throughout the 28-city trek including Elle King, Tracy Lawrence, Tyler Braden, Caylee Hammack, Hot Country Knights, Kameron Marlowe, The Cadillac Three, The Red Clay Strays, Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, Shane Smith & the Saints, Caitlyn Smith, and Hailey Whitters.

Tickets will be available starting with fanclub presales beginning Tuesday, March 7 at 10:00 AM. Citi is the official presale credit card of the Gravel & Gold Tour and Citi cardmembers will have access to purchase presale tickets beginning Wednesday, March 8 at 10:00 AM local time through Citi Entertainment. Tickets begin going on sale to the public next Friday, March 10 at 10:00 AM Local Time.

Award-winning country artist Dierks Bentley will bring his Gravel & Gold Tour to KettleHouse Amphitheater in Bonner on Sunday , August 4, 2024 !

For fans of country music, this is an event that simply cannot be missed. Platinum selling Dierks Bentley is known for his electrifying live performances and chart-topping hits like “ Drunk On a Plane ” “ What Was I Thinkin’ ” “ Somewhere On A Beach ” and many more. Seven albums into one of country music’s most-respected and most-unpredictable careers, award-winning singer/songwriter Dierks Bentley continues to grow. His latest evolution comes in the form of  RISER , a project due out Feb. 25, 2014 that stands as his most personal to date.

MORRISON, Colo. — Dierks Bentley is coming back to Colorado this summer, but his music festival will not be.

The country music star has booked concerts at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Tuesday, Sept. 5, and Wednesday, Sept. 6. 

Bentley will be joined by Ashley McBryde, The Infamous Stringdusters, Tanner Usrey, The Red Clay Strays, Kaitlin Butts, and Harper O'Neill.

Tickets for Bentley's Red Rocks concerts will go on sale Friday, June 23, at 10 a.m. at AXS.com . A ticket presale begins Thursday, June 22, at 10 a.m. with the code 7PEAKS at AXS.com.

"It’s been seven years since I’ve played Red Rocks, so when I heard that we could get two nights on the schedule there, I jumped at it," Bentley said on Twitter. "Some of the best concert experiences of my life have been in Colorado, and that venue is certainly at the top of the list. I’m bringing along some of my favorite singers and musicians to give the fans two nights they’ll never forget."

However, Bentley will not hold his Seven Peaks Music Festival in Colorado this year. The festival had been held three times in the mountains of Colorado.

"Seven Peaks Festival will be taking a break in 2023," organizers said Friday.

Bentley held the first two festivals in Buena Vista before moving the event to Villa Grove in 2022. Villa Grove is located about 45 miles south of Buena Vista.

Last year, Bentley opened a restaurant and bar in lower downtown Denver. 

Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row , Bentley's fifth restaurant location, opened at 1942 Market St. across the street from Coors Field.

The Denver restaurant and bar features southern-inspired food and cocktails as well as a state-of-the-art sound system using tour-grade components, a stage for live music with a 65-foot immersive LED wall and a large outdoor patio with lawn games.

Country music star suffers heart attack after show

ARIZONA ( KPHO /Gray News) – Country music icon Colt Ford suffered a heart attack after a show in Arizona Thursday night.

According to a news release, the multi-platinum singer-songwriter was performing at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row.

He is currently under care in the Intensive Care Unit at the Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona.

From Athens, Georgia, Ford has a long history of health problems, including eye cancer and an autoimmune disease known as Myasthenia Gravis, according to several music media outlets.

The disorder “affects the muscles in your face, your eyes, and your throat. It hadn’t really affected my throat, but it really affected my eye. I had no control over my right eye. It really messes with your vision. I could see perfectly out of either eye, but then I would look together and I’d see three of you and you would be melting together like a lava lamp,” Ford told Taste of Country in 2023.

Along with several No. 1 hits, Ford originally recorded Jason Aldean’s “Dirt Road Anthem,” which has garnered over 927 million worldwide streams.

Country singer Colt Ford suffers heart attack after Dierks Bentley’s performance in Arizona

Country singer and rapper, Colt Ford is in the Intensive Care Unit at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa after he suffered a heart attack following his April 4 performance in Gilbert, where the songwriter, entrepreneur and former professional golfer performed live at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row at 6 p.m., according to a press release.

This isn’t the first time the Georgia-born singer has dealt with health issues. In May 2023, he told Taste of Country about his autoimmune disease diagnosis of Myasthenia Gravis. In the interview, he discussed how the disease typically affects the muscles in your face, eyes and throat, and there is no cure. For him personally, it affected his vision to the point that he had no control over his right eye.

He said he has also dealt with fatigue while playing his shows, but had been put on supplements by his doctor which were “really helping” him at the time.

Ford has also battled eye cancer, which led to him undergoing surgery about three years ago.

The Arizona Republic reached out to Ford's team and at the time of publication, they have no updates on his condition to share.

Ford is best known for his writing credits in Jason Aldean’s No. 1 hit “Dirt Road Anthem” and for fusing country and rap music as a multi-platinum singer-songwriter. His rise to fame is also attributed to his 2008 album “Ride Through the Country.”

According to his website , Ford’s next stop on tour was supposed to be the Primm Valley Casino Resorts in Nevada on April 5 before returning to Arizona for the Wake the Lake Country Festival 2024 in Lake Havasu City on April 6.
