Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines unveils 2025 voyages on Balmoral ship

The UK-based Fred Olsen Cruise Lines has unveiled 4 new voyages scheduled for 2025, featuring destinations such as Costa Rica, the Dominicana, and Norway.

MS Balmoral ship will embark from Southampton UK on these Transatlantic+Caribbean itineraries, carefully curated to offer tourists memorable experiences in remarkable locations.

One of these voyages is a 45-night Grand Voyage exploring the Caribbean and Central America, providing opportunities to discover tropical islands, indulge in local delicacies like Colombian coffee and Jamaican jerk chicken, and engage in activities such as snorkeling in Tortola BVI and spotting endemic wildlife in Costa Rica.

For those seeking the elusive Northern Lights, the "In Search of the Northern Lights" cruise departing on January 18 promises a 15-night journey to witness this natural wonder, guided by the expertise of the Go Stargazing team, and includes the maritime tradition of crossing the Arctic Circle.

Another enticing option is the "Winter Warmth in the Canary Islands" cruise departing on February 2, offering guests a chance to explore volcanic landscapes, savor local treats such as pasteis de nata, and wander through the botanical gardens of Madeira.

The Bolette sets sail in January 2026 for the Discovering The World's Idyllic Islands & Iconic Cities cruise

There is an "epic" 99-night cruise that sets sail from Liverpool and takes you on a tour of some of the world's most iconic cities.

Fred. Olsen's Discovering The World's Idyllic Islands & Iconic Cities is an incredible three-month cruise on their flagship Bolette ship. It will take adventurers as far as Bora Bora in this once-in-a-lifetime trip to experience parts of the earth in a unique way.

And while people journey across the globe they can relax and enjoy all the luxuries of the cruise ship itself. The Bolette liner is one of Fred. Olsen's flagships and is named after Fred Olsen's great grandmother and will depart from Liverpool Cruise Terminal on January 5, 2026 for its long voyage.

With 690 cabins, the Bolette can carry 1,338 guests and 657 crew members. The Bolette is the ship for a number of cruises including the two night mini cruise for £349 and the cruise to the volcanic land of fire and ice also from Liverpool.

It has a number of dining options with everything from traditional afternoon tea to daily buffets. The ship also has swimming pools, jacuzzis, dance classes, evening shows and cookery demonstrations, so you will be spoilt for choice from the moment you step aboard.
