Terms & Conditions Rates: Published prices and specials are subject to change without notice. Fuel surcharges may apply.

Payment and Deposit: A deposit of 50% of your package rate per guest is due 2 weeks after the date of booking. Reservations are subject to cancellation until the full deposit has been received. Outstanding balance must be paid in full 8 weeks before arrival date. Reservations made within 8 weeks of arrival date must be paid in full prior to arrival and within 20 days of booking. Payments received are subject to all terms and conditions. Changes to reservations/itinerary may be subject to additional charges.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: If you cancel your trip after your reservations have been confirmed, we will try to resell your dates. If we are able to do so, you will be refunded payments made minus $350 per person. If we are unable to resell your dates you will lose your deposit. For cancelations 8 weeks before arrival, all payments made are non-refundable. No-shows will not receive a refund. While at the lodge, if you decide not go fishing one day, no refund will be given.

Cancellations due to Weather: Your safety is our first concern. If the captain decides the boat should not go out, you will receive credit for a day of fishing.

Boats, Captain and Crew: If for any reason there is a problem with the boat you are booked on, or the captain or a crew member is ill or otherwise unavailable, we will do our utmost to find a substitution.

What you can expect

Enjoy a superb 4-day fishing trip, with 2 days fishing for sailfish, mahi-mahi, tuna and wahoo off the Pacific Coast of Guatemala, sailing by yacht or small boats, with deluxe accommodation at the Hotel Soleil Pacifico, boasting a barefoot luxury ambiance and colorful Central American décor.

The all-inclusive trip includes transfers, meals, and all the adventure you need in the sport fishing capital of the sailfish, with excellent fishing year round.

Day 1: Upon arrival, you will be met at La Aurora International Airport for the transfer to Port San José. If your flight is late, you will stay in Guatemala City, and transfer early the next day to the marina of San José. Check in to the Hotel Soleil Pacifico, boasting 2 swimming pools, a beachfront restaurant and even al fresco massage treatments conducted under the ocean breeze. All meals and local drinks are included in your package.

Day 2: Transfer to Marina Pez Vela and board the yacht that will take you on your first fishing adventure. Spend a full-day sport fishing in the warm eddies of the ocean. Thanks to the Equatorial Counter Current, the area is effectively a bill fish superhighway, attracting bill fish and endless bait all year round.

Catch and release sailfish, marlin, all billfish, and other species such as mahi mahi, wahoo, Spanish mackerel, and yellow tuna. Fishing trips last from 07:00 until 16:00, returning in the late afternoon sun to Marina Pez Vela for the transfer to your hotel.

Day 3: Transfer to Marina Pez Vela and board the yacht for your 2nd full-day of sport fishing. Guatemala holds the record for the most sailfish released in one day, and the calm waters and friendly fishing atmosphere add to the sense of serenity.

Day 4: Check out of the Hotel Soleil Pacifico in the morning and transfer back to La Aurora International Airport for your onward flight.
