Media travel management that never sleeps
You need to be among the action, day or night. Getting your crew on-site on a tight deadline, with loads of equipment and baggage that airlines aren’t always happy to put in cargo. Even when you’re on the ground in your hired transport, you need to be able to switch things up at a moment’s notice.
At Corporate Traveler Stage, Screen & Sports, we’ve been making travel plans and adjustments for media firms for 20+ years.
So even if you need to get to the middle of nowhere or you have lots of baggage, we know the drill. Our airline and port contacts make transporting your equipment easier. Plus, we’ll make sure you stick to budget with comprehensive data, analysis, and recommendations, while still meeting those personalized individual travel requirements.
We handle the details so you can focus on capturing your moment.
Total coordination wherever you're going

Moscow City Guides and Media
Nightlife, arts and culture listings for moscow.
The Moscow Times english-language newspaper publishes a weekly listing of events, also available on their website: www.themoscowtimes.com/arts_n_ideas/calendar/
Another good English-language resource is A-A-AH – www.a-a-ah.com/events-in-moscow – which has a good clubs listings and publishes interesting cultural events.
Your best way, though, is to go on Facebook pages of the places we recommend in our Moscow Guide and check out what's on there. We post the most interesting events on our Way to Russia Facebook Page as well, so check it out occasionally!
A great listing of public lectures, seminars, workshops and conferences happening in Moscow is available on Theory and Practice portal – www.tandp.ru – even though it's in Russian you can find really interesting talks on Russian cinema, software development, literary studies and anything else you want on there.
Among the Russian listings, Afisha (www. afisha.ru ) magazine is the most popular one. While being slightly pretentious, it provides a lot of information and has good nightlife and art listings.
Another interesting newspaper is Bolshoy Gorod – www.bg.ru – which is distributed for free and has extensive listings. They also have a blog for each area of Moscow (in Russian).
Finally, Look At Me - www.lookatme.ru – is a sure source to find some party or exhibition you like.
Newspapers & Magazines
In english language, in russian language.
The weekly Komsomolka is the local version of the UK Sun, but intelligentsia (smart people) prefer the free Bolshoy Gorod, which is a bit like the local version of The Village Voice, but not as big.
The "mainstream" fashion is determined by bi-weekly Afisha ( www.afisha.ru ) magazine.
The weekly Expert ( www.expert.ru ) and Itogi ( www.itogi.ru ) magazines provide comprehensive business, finance, and politics analysis.
The monthly magazines are anything from Playboy to Forbes, and from Cosmopolitan to The Rolling Stone.
Foreign Press
You can buy foreign magazines and newspapers in Moscow. Usually, they are sold in 5-star hotels, but the prices there are much too high. Also, you can try some newstands in the city (especially on Tverskaya St.), but the prices are high also, and the selection is poor.
However, there's a couple of places in Moscow, where you can get almost any magazine or newspaper, in English and in other languages. 1. Maxim's News Stand. They have everything, if they don't -- you can order. Prices are lower than on the cover. Also, they sell books and movies in English. Metro: Savyolovskaya (grey line, north center), Address: Nizhnyaya Maslovska, #2 (an underground pass near Savyolovskaya metro). Open hours: Mon-Sat 11.00 to 19.30 2. Arbat Supermarket. Just next to the entrance they sell some English-language magazines and fresh newspapers. Metro: Arbatskaya. Address: Novy Arbat st, Novoarbatsky supermarket - grocery store (there's only one, the entrance is on the street side). 3. Bookberry. The new Moscow book supermarket has an extensive section of foreign magazines and newspapers at moderate prices. Metro: Arbatskaya, Tverskaya (blue, purple line). The 14-figure sums can be broken down into three types of travel transactions, Bloomberg notes. Direct travel spending includes things like hotels, tours, and transportation, as well as public investment in these types of services. Indirect travel spending covers the expenses of those businesses, such as sheets and towels or the ingredients for the breakfast buffet. Finally, induced spending accounts for the trickle-down effects of hospitality employees.
In total, 142 out of the 185 surveyed countries are expected to exceed their 2019 tourism performance levels in 2024. Almost all nations are expected to see year-over-year growth, too. As a result, records are likely to be broken on a local level as well as a global.

Adventure travel series Destination X has been officially picked up to series by NBC .

'chicago med' co-showrunners diane frolov, andy schneider stepping down at season's end.
The BBC greenlit its own version last year with Twofour producing.
It is a similar model employed on breakout mystery format The Traitors.
Destination X sees a group of contestants go on the road trip of a lifetime but they have no idea of their location. In order to win, they must figure out their mystery locations. Once they’re on the blacked-out Destination X bus, the journey turns into a real-life game board, with challenges designed to offer clues as to their location, along with a few misdirects to keep them guessing.
At the end of each episode, the contestant who places an X on a map furthest from the actual location packs their bags. The first participant to reach Destination X will be crowned the winner.
Twofour, which is owned by British broadcaster ITV, is behind series such as Apple TV+’s The Reluctant Traveller . It will co-produce the NBC version with Universal Television Alternative Studio. Production will begin later this year.
Caroline Davies, Andy Cadman, Dan Adamson and David Clews will exec produce the NBC version.
“ Destination X is one of the most unique and innovative formats we’ve seen in a long time, and it’s so big we partnered with the BBC again to shoot two shows at once,” said Corie Henson, EVP, Unscripted Programming, NBCUniversal Television and Streaming. “This show is an epic international travel adventure combined with the ultimate guessing game. Even if you’ve never been on a plane, you can play along.”
“The entire Twofour team couldn’t be more proud to have won the tender to produce this incredible adventure format, particularly given the pedigree of the other companies in the process,” said Dan Adamson, Twofour MD. “Our editorial ambition for this project is fortunately matched by our best-in-class production team, who constantly make the impossible possible. We are excited to be on this journey with our talented producing partners at UTAS and grateful to the brilliant commissioning teams at both NBCU and the BBC for the hard work and creativity they have already put into the process.”

Most australian women live close to breast screening services but some face longer travel times.
UNDER EMBARGO —until 12.01AM, Friday, 16 February, 2024
More than 9 in 10 Australian women live within a 20-minute drive of a permanent or visiting BreastScreen Australia screening service in 2021, according to a new report by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW).
The report, Access to BreastScreen Australia screening service s, features an interactive map that highlights where the women who face much longer drives live, and will be used by the Australian and state and territory governments in the planning and delivery of breast cancer screening services including the optimal allocation of breast screening services. This report also allows for comparison of access and participation of priority populations (including First Nations women) to breast screening services.
‘Today’s report shows that 99.8% of all women and 96% of First Nations women, aged 50–74, live within a one-hour drive of a permanent BreastScreen Australia screening service or one that visits at least once every 2 years,’ said AIHW spokesperson Dr Martin Edvardsson.
‘Most women have to travel for much less than one hour as 94% of all women and 89% of First Nations women, aged 50–74, live within a 20-minute drive of a permanent or visiting service,’
‘Early detection using screening mammography can reduce illness and death from breast cancer,’ added Dr Edvardsson.
Among women aged 50–74 participation was lowest for those who lived in Very remote areas (37%) and highest among those who lived in Outer regional and Inner regional areas (55% and 52%, respectively). In Very remote areas, 1 in 4 women aged 50–74 live more than a one-hour drive from a permanent service or one that visits at least every 2 years.
Screening is often the first step in the diagnosis and care for women with breast cancer. After screening, some women are recalled for further assessment. Barriers to accessing these assessments were not the focus of this report.
All Australian states and territories operate BreastScreen services with free screening mammograms to detect breast cancer early. The services operate about 161 permanent and 664 visiting sites that provide screening mammograms.
Women aged over 40 years can have a free screening mammogram every 2 years. Women aged 50–74 are actively encouraged to screen, and eligible women aged 40–49 and over 74 years can also have a free screening mammogram.
The National Preventive Health Strategy 2021–2030 set a breast screening participation rate target of at least 65% by 2025.
Participation has been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, as services reduced capacity to implement COVID-19 safety measures which resulted in slightly lower participation than before the pandemic. In 2020–2021, 35% of First Nations women and 48% of non-Indigenous women, aged 50–74, participated in breast screening.
To find your nearest breast screening service, visit the Department of Health and Aged Care's information page .
