When travelling with your group, it’s important to have peace of mind that you have full insurance cover for every situation, no matter what, so you can concentrate on making the most of your trip.

Our comprehensive Scout Travel policy covers include medical expenses and repatriation where appropriate, as well as covering costs should your trip be cancelled, or for lost baggage, personal items, and cash, whether you are abroad or in the UK.

Being owned by The Scouts means our insurance specialists are on hand to help you at every point.

And, as part of our policy you’ll be covered for all recognised Scouting activities providing you are working within POR (Policy, Organising and Rules).

For example, if The Scouts deem it unsuitable to travel to a certain area or country even if there wasn’t an official travel ban by the UK Government, Scout members would be safe with the knowledge that the movement would protect them, and our Scout travel policy would cover cancellation of their trip.

Company has no regard to privacy, and they do not respect customer requests. They manage ads in games and apps and enseñe though they show a timer, they keep putting additional time beyond authorized. Very unethical practices.

They delete negative asset store reviews

They delete critical forum posts and negative reviews from the asset store. Of course negative reviews on assets that they make a lot of money off isnt good for their business so the reason why they do it is obvious. Its always the same reason, money. After their disastrous decision to retroactively change their Terms of Service and retroactively bill people, in some cases millions of dollars, they now silently did the same thing again and this time they really did fool the community. Im glad I never payed them much more than a few dozen dollars, but even that was a complete waste.

Sell all Unity stock before January.

I've just heard the news about the Runtime installation fee. There's not a developer nor consumer who wants this, and all trust with the Unity company has been broken. My heart goes out to those employees who protested this decision and wish them luck with finding an honorable company, because this incompetent decision has doomed the business in its entirety. It's almost to the point that I suggest life insurance to the executives for approving such an egregious idea. RIP Unity, I'm sorry that your executives are evil.

they don't honor their promise of refund

Their refund policy is only for protecting the publishers. I bought a GUI package and it is totally different from the description. Not useful, and not dynamic, only image texts exist on it and there is no PSD or related font files in the package. The support team tries to protect the publisher and tries to find useless solutions to won't make any refund. They just answered my refund request after 3 months. And they expect that we should use the package which blocked us, and we should wait to use it after 3 months. Unity is the worst engine. They shouldn't forget that developers make them bigger than yesterday, publishers are not.

Worst quality in-game audio provider

Constantly disconnected from Vivox or have issues connecting in general. They have yet to fix their Hell Let Loose voice issues and this has been ongoing since the games inception. Fix your s^%t my guy. Or hire a better coder. Something.

When i bought some assets in the Unity…

When added some assets in the shopping cart in the Unity asset store, they included an asset i didn't want, i removed it from the list, and once i made the purchase they included the asset anyways. I recorded a video about the bug they have in the Asset store web but they didn't care. I asked for a refund, they didn't even replied me, they checked my request as solved without refunding me anything. Also when you ask for a refund in the web they show you the price without VAT, so even if anyone gets a refund it is without refunding the VAT they paid, it is a scam. So i don't recommend anyone to buy anything from the Asset store unless you don't have any other option.

The company continuously provides ads from fake rewards apps and other schemes/frauds. The customer support team reports it to the fraud team however ads continue to surface and the company making money from these schemes

Easy to spend money, but can't get the assets, still.

After 30 min, I am still figuring out how to download the assets I just paid for. Horrible UI. It was super easy to spend the money though 😭

Touring the Top 10 Moscow Metro Stations

Komsomolskaya metro station looks like a museum. It has vaulted ceilings and baroque decor.

Hidden underground, in the heart of Moscow, are historical and architectural treasures of Russia. These are Soviet-era creations – the metro stations of Moscow.

Our guide Maria introduced these elaborate metro stations as “the palaces for the people.” Built between 1937 and 1955, each station holds its own history and stories. Stalin had the idea of building beautiful underground spaces that the masses could enjoy. They would look like museums, art centers, concert halls, palaces and churches. Each would have a different theme. None would be alike.

The two-hour private tour was with a former Intourist tour guide named Maria. Maria lived in Moscow all her life and through the communist era of 60s to 90s. She has been a tour guide for more than 30 years. Being in her 60s, she moved rather quickly for her age. We traveled and crammed with Maria and other Muscovites on the metro to visit 10 different metro stations.

Moscow subways are very clean

To Maria, every street, metro and building told a story. I couldn’t keep up with her stories. I don’t remember most of what she said because I was just thrilled being in Moscow.   Added to that, she spilled out so many Russian words and names, which to one who can’t read Cyrillic, sounded so foreign and could be easily forgotten.

The metro tour was the first part of our all day tour of Moscow with Maria. Here are the stations we visited:

1. Komsomolskaya Metro Station  is the most beautiful of them all. Painted yellow and decorated with chandeliers, gold leaves and semi precious stones, the station looks like a stately museum. And possibly decorated like a palace. I saw Komsomolskaya first, before the rest of the stations upon arrival in Moscow by train from St. Petersburg.

2. Revolution Square Metro Station (Ploshchad Revolyutsii) has marble arches and 72 bronze sculptures designed by Alexey Dushkin. The marble arches are flanked by the bronze sculptures. If you look closely you will see passersby touching the bronze dog's nose. Legend has it that good luck comes to those who touch the dog's nose.

3. Arbatskaya Metro Station served as a shelter during the Soviet-era. It is one of the largest and the deepest metro stations in Moscow.

4. Biblioteka Imeni Lenina Metro Station was built in 1935 and named after the Russian State Library. It is located near the library and has a big mosaic portrait of Lenin and yellow ceramic tiles on the track walls.

5. Kievskaya Metro Station was one of the first to be completed in Moscow. Named after the capital city of Ukraine by Kiev-born, Nikita Khruschev, Stalin's successor.

6. Novoslobodskaya Metro Station  was built in 1952. It has 32 stained glass murals with brass borders.

7. Kurskaya Metro Station was one of the first few to be built in Moscow in 1938. It has ceiling panels and artwork showing Soviet leadership, Soviet lifestyle and political power. It has a dome with patriotic slogans decorated with red stars representing the Soviet's World War II Hall of Fame. Kurskaya Metro Station is a must-visit station in Moscow.

8. Mayakovskaya Metro Station built in 1938. It was named after Russian poet Vladmir Mayakovsky. This is one of the most beautiful metro stations in the world with 34 mosaics painted by Alexander Deyneka.

9. Belorusskaya Metro Station is named after the people of Belarus. In the picture below, there are statues of 3 members of the Partisan Resistance in Belarus during World War II. The statues were sculpted by Sergei Orlov, S. Rabinovich and I. Slonim.

10. Teatralnaya Metro Station (Theatre Metro Station) is located near the Bolshoi Theatre.

Look elsewhere for reliable web design

This company's director was the one who advised me to spend 12k on a new Magento web site back in 2018!, only for them to now tell me my site is outdated, I have now been told i will need to spend another 7k to update my old site to wordpress or i will not be able to add new payment options!, This was all very underhand behaviour in my eyes!, then comes the final straw where i got really cold treatment from the receptionist when asking why my current payment solution had been removed?, i was a very good customer of theirs for well over five years, the cold treatment only started after i stopped my seo/add words, but this was removed due to their poor ad performance and high charges! Avoid at all costs!!!! To add insult to injury i have now discovered the magento wesbsite i paid 12k in 2018 for was done on the 1.9 version of magento when newer 2.0 was availiable since 2015, funny how its only the 1.9 that needs upgrading at a cost of another 7k when the whole point of spending 12k at the time was to keep up with the technology avaliable!!!!
