# IN THIS MOMENT only * ICE NINE KILLS only supporting METALLICA

Decadent, devious and fiercely insane, ICE NINE KILLS celebrate pop culture's darkest edges, mining a cinephile library's worth of iconic horror on 2018's "The Silver Scream" which spawned Top 10 Mainstream Rock single "A Grave Mistake" and Top 20 hit "Savages" . The creative marriage made in hell of music and fiction began in earnest with the Top 5 Hard Rock album "Every Trick In The Book" , which brought the previous three records' themes to new levels and which the band perfected on 2021's chart- topping smash hit "The Silver Scream 2: Welcome To Horrorwood" .

The phenomenally successful album, released in October 2021, scored ICE NINE KILLS their first Top 20 position (#18) on the Billboard Top 200, topped the Digital and Current Hard Music charts, hit Top 5 on the Current Rock, Independent, Current Albums and Album Sales charts and has clocked up 177 million cross-platform streams to date and 15 million YouTube views for singles "Hip To Be Scared" , "Assault & Batteries" , "Rainy Day" , "Funeral Derangements" , "Take Your Pick" , "The Shower Scene" and most recently, " Welcome To Horrorwood" .

Since the release of "The Silver Scream 2: Welcome To Horrorwood" , ICE NINE KILLS have seen phenomenal growth. Throughout 2022 they toured the U.S. extensively on three legs of "The Trinity Of Terror" , their hugely successful, mostly sold-out triple co-headline tour with MOTIONLESS IN WHITE and BLACK VEIL BRIDES , supported METALLICA at several U.S. stadium shows, toured the U.S. with SLIPKNOT and launched the inaugural edition of their horror convention, The Silver Scream Con .

The first half of 2023 has been just as insane. The year began with singer Spencer Charnas being featured in the music video for the official song from "Scream 6" — Demi Lovato 's "Still Alive" , as well as the band's flyer being used in the movie with a Spencer-recommended easter egg. Since the spring, the band have been touring the world with METALLICA on their "M72" world tour, headlined numerous sold-out shows on their "Wurst Vacation" European tour, played to huge crowds at festivals such as Download and are currently touring the U.S. with FALLING IN REVERSE on their "Popular Monstour" run. The band also have their "Fear The Premiere" U.S. headline shows in August, followed by the second iteration of the Silver Scream Con coming in September and will be finishing the year on a high with the "Kiss Of Death" co-headline tour with IN THIS MOMENT .

ICE NINE KILLS ' synergy of music and lifestyle draws favorable comparisons to SLIPKNOT and ROB ZOMBIE . Visionary trailblazers and multimedia raconteurs, ICE NINE KILLS have built a thrilling world for a growing legion of devoted true believers, with theatrical shows, high-concept videos, and inventive band-to-fan communion. Their wildly creative output has seen them become recipients of the prestigious Clio Award for Music Marketing for their "Merry Axe-mas" mobile game and their live streaming event from October 2020, "The Silver Stream" be nominated for five awards at the Horror Hound Film Festival Awards in the categories of Judges Choice, Best Sound, Best Supporting Performance, Best Cinematography and Best Feature. With over two million monthly listeners on Spotify , 717 million career streams to date and over 204 million views on YouTube , the band are firmly cemented as one of modern metal's most vicious forces.

Grammy Award -nominated act IN THIS MOMENT has just released a new single, "The Purge" , from its upcoming studio album "Godmode" , due out October 27 via BMG . The song is accompanied by the official music video directed by Jensen Noen ( ICE NINE KILLS , FALLING IN REVERSE , HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD ).

IN THIS MOMENT has also shared details for "Godmode" , marking the band's eighth studio album to date. Recorded at Hideout Recording Studio in Las Vegas, Nevada, the 10-track opus was produced by Kane Churko ( OZZY OSBOURNE , PAPA ROACH , FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH ) and Tyler Bates ( "John Wick" movies, Jerry Cantrell , BUSH ).

IN THIS MOMENT debuted the new songs "Sacrifice" and "The Purge" at the opening concert of "The Dark Horizon Tour" on July 8 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Another new track, "I Would Die For You" , previously appeared on the soundtrack for "John Wick: Chapter 4" .

IN THIS MOMENT is joined on "The Dark Horizon Tour" by co-headliners MOTIONLESS IN WHITE , along with special guests FIT FOR A KING and FROM ASHES TO NEW . The trek, which sees IN THIS MOMENT and MOTIONLESS IN WHITE alternating closing sets each night, will continue through an August 19 performance at MVP Arena in Albany, New York.

Last October, IN THIS MOMENT released an EP called "Blood 1983" . The effort commemorated the tenth anniversary of IN THIS MOMENT 's gold-certified album "Blood" (2012) and was made available digitally across all digital service providers as well as CD via BMG .

"Blood 1983" was co-produced by Tyler Bates and Dan Haigh , and mixed by Zakk Cervini .

Since coming to life in 2005, IN THIS MOMENT has presided over a diehard fan base under the watch of "mother" figure and frontwoman Maria Brink — joined by co-founder and lead guitarist Chris Howorth , bassist Travis Johnson , guitarist Randy Weitzel and drummer Kent Dimmel . As millions convened upon the group's otherworldly and unforgettable concerts, they quietly emerged as one of the most influential and impactful bands of the 21st century.

To date, in addition to the gold-selling album "Blood" , the quintet has garnered two gold singles — "Blood" and "Whore" — followed by Top 25 entries on the Billboard Top 200 with "Black Widow" (2014) and "Ritual" (2017). Bringing their total stream tally well past 200 million as of 2020, "Ritual" elevated them to new creative and critical peaks as well. Between selling out headline tours coast-to-coast, the group performed in arenas everywhere alongside DISTURBED and appeared at countless festivals from Welcome To Rockville to Sonic Temple . Along the way, they assembled their seventh full-length, the aptly titled "Mother" ( Roadrunner ) with longtime collaborator Kevin Churko ( OZZY OSBOURNE , FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH ).

IN THIS MOMENT is Maria Brink (lead vocals), Chris Howorth (guitars), Travis Johnson (bass), Randy Weitzel (rhythm guitar), Kent Dimmel (drums).

What happened when we joined In This Moment on their biggest ever tour

From going DIY to career-threatening medical conditions, nothing can stop In This Moment from realising their grand vision. We head Stateside for to join them on tour and find out why…

A shot of in this moment in costumes

F]rom the outside, it looks like an ordinary tourbus, casually parked outside a music venue like on any other day of the week. Climb inside, however, and it’s anything but. Swathes of black fabric cover the furniture, the smell of incense fills the air and candles adorn almost every surface possible, creating a peaceful, mystical vibe. Even when Maria Brink, dressed in a long, black gown, sits down and accidentally knocks one of the candles over, she doesn’t panic at the thought of fire or impending doom. Instead, the In This Moment singer simply picks it up and places it back on the table. It’s a plastic flame after all – if there’s going to be a raging inferno, it’ll be when they’re onstage in a few hours. Because In This Moment have what must be one of the most incredible stage shows in alternative music right now.

Either we’ve just walked in on a coven or this is the weirdest Power Rangers high five ever

Tonight, the LA band are bringing that show to The Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts, as they hit the home stretch of the first leg of their Half God/Half Devil headline US tour. Doors aren’t quite open, and a huge line snakes around the block. There’s also a large group of diehard fans – known as the Blood Legion – waiting for a meet and greet. It’s a solid indication that this tour’s been going well.

“It’s been spectacular,” beams Maria, sitting across from guitarist Chris Howorth, with whom she co-founded the band in 2005. Her voice is chirpy and friendly, matching her demeanour perfectly. “Ninety-five per cent of the shows have been sold out. We’re so grateful. It’s blown our minds, because we were off for a while and didn’t know what to expect coming back.”

That must be something of a relief, given the epic scale of their live show on US shores. There are props galore, outrageous costumes, disturbing masks, moving platforms, smoke machines. And then there are the Blood Girls, a cast of faceless women who dance throughout the gig, taking up different roles for different songs, diverting attention for when Maria escapes to change outfit, stalking the stage like creatures from the Underworld. Each song is a true performance piece, with visuals and choreography designed to enhance the power of the music and the message while also creating its own unique scene. It’s somewhere in between the Thriller video come to life and the most fucked-up Katy Perry performance you’ll ever see. It hasn’t always been this way, but it was always meant to be this way.

Someone’s been hanging out in Torture Garden a bit too much

“I think Maria always knew it was going to be like this one day,” says Chris, whose jovial tone is at odds with his imposing presence, “but when we started out, we didn’t have anything but our own microphone. And it’s evolved into this .”

“I always had a big vision,” confirms Maria. “I’m one of those people who loves to seek out new things and learn and evolve and push our vision as far as we can. At the beginning, I started telling Chris these things I was seeing in my head and we started doing them without the budget. We were building stuff in the parking lot with nails and wood from Home Depot. And when I started seeing that it actually was possible, the sky became the limit.”

Ripe, sweaty crowds? Travis Johnson is prepared

Twelve years into their career, In This Moment are still reaching for the skies and pushing those limits. After four albums on influential metal label Century Media, they signed to Atlantic Records for 2014’s Black Widow , something that brought the reality of achieving their vision closer than ever. Yet that doesn’t mean they’re close to where they actually want to be, even in terms of the seamless and polished show we see later tonight.

“Right now,” says the singer, “we have a crew of 20, including the drivers. There are two buses and a semi. But in my mind, with the show I want to create, it’s probably going to be double that. There’s a bunch of new things in the show that we’re doing, and we’re still putting pieces together and figuring out some little things. There are so many little details, and people behind the scenes working incredibly hard. By the end of this tour going into the next one I think we’ll be at 100%.”

Her fascination with the theatrical began as a young girl, when she’d put on plays for family and friends. That developed into a love of Madonna and Michael Jackson, before settling on the more macabre imagery that dominates In This Moment’s stage show. Equally inspired by the aesthetic of Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie and The Rocky Horror Show , an In This Moment gig is much more than just a concert. It’s an all-consuming experience for both the audience and the band, and Maria admits her ultimate dream is to have a Las Vegas residency. But although the performance aspect is incredibly important – it’s not just at the centre of what the band do, but of who they are – they’re aware that they can’t only rely on the visuals. The songs also need to be good. More than that, though, they need to work together as two sides of the same coin. So while pre-production for the live shows starts a month before a tour, the seed for the visuals is planted incredibly early on in the songwriting process. Rather than devising the live show for the song after the fact, the two are pretty much interlinked from the beginning.

“’Cause if you liked it, then you should have put a ring on it…”

“Before we even go into the studio,” says Maria, “I come up with a storyboard for everyone. From there, it goes into the writing the songs and then working out how to bring it to life onstage. You have to get the balance right. If the performance is really amazing but the music sucks, it’s a flop. And if the music is great but we’re trying to do a performance that’s not quite working and we’re tripping and falling and it’s turning into Spinal Tap, that’s not great either.”

”It’s much more than just making sure you play or sing everything right,” adds Chris. “She’s thinking about the show while she’s writing the songs. As this gets bigger and bigger, we’re going into places and things we’ve never done before. It’s a constant learning process, and we’re learning every step of the way because things are always developing.”

That ambitious vision has led to some logistical issues, not least when it comes to taking that gargantuan production abroad, where the band aren’t as high profile as they are in the States.

“We want to take this as far as we can go,” insists Chris, “and we want the show to get better and better. Maria has so many ideas that we’re not able to realise right now because of money and practicality. We also want to take the show overseas, and we haven’t really got to that point either.”

“What happens,” explains Maria, “is you can blow up here and have a certain budget for all these people that you have to pay for, but we can’t necessarily afford it where we’re not as big. But we’ve got to go there anyway in order to get this big there, in order to bring them that show. We don’t want to cheat anybody of the full experience of what it’s supposed to be, but we realise that we have to tone it down a little. You can still pull off something magical without all the bells and whistles.”

“Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who’s the most badass of them all?”

Being so invested in their art doesn’t come without its physical consequences, either. Both Maria and Chris admit that the spectacle of the band’s live show leaves them physically drained, and it has caused their health to suffer. In particular, in April 2016, the band were forced to cancel a UK tour after Chris was diagnosed with acute arthritis. It’s something he’d been suffering from for years – and which had led to a painkiller addiction – but it had gone undiagnosed. Although he’s better, he’s unable to move his neck much because it’s fused to his back.

“I thought I was never going to be able to do this again,” he says. “I was watching [tour support band] Avatar the other day and got depressed because they’re all young and banging their heads like crazy and I’m never going to do that again. But it is what it is. I did that at the beginning and that’s what got me into this situation, because I wasn’t taking care of myself properly.”

“We never thought we’d be those people who have to get physical therapy every day,” adds Maria, “but we took what happened really seriously because it was devastating. So now we’re dorks who get physical therapy every day. It’s not just about the exercise and how hard you sang physically, but when you’re connecting with a crowd, that’s a lot of energy coming at you. You’re moving your soul and your energy, so you’re pretty drained at the end. We take care of ourselves and get massages and do yoga, but we’re still in pain. You just have to push through.”

That’s exactly what they’re doing, both in terms of their show and the music. The band’s new album even features a guest vocal from Rob Halford on a song called Black Wedding , something that happened after the Judas Priest singer saw the band live (“He wanted to come see us,” exclaims Chris, “which blew us away.”). Clearly, things have come a long way since the band began life over a decade ago, and even further from the productions Maria used to stage as a child.

“She’s directing a play that costs a lot of money now,” jokes Chris. Maria looks across the aisle of the bus at him.

“But when are we going to make any money?” she laughs. “We spend it all on the show. It’s kind of like betting on yourself.”

They shouldn’t worry too much. At the rate they’re going, the odds look very good indeed.

Top Of The Props

Some of the stuff you can expect to see in In This Moment’s new show

Blood Girls

“I wanted to take it to a new level, because in the rock’n’roll and metal world, I never really saw a woman who had performers dancing and interacting with them. So I wanted to do something no one else had. These girls are like art coming to life – they’re kind of an extension of me and they help when the scenery changes for each song. The fact you never see their faces gives them a real mysterious energy.”

“This song is about people who are bullied or told they’re worthless when they’re young or called a whore or a piece of shit – and when you’re that person, learning to let go of everybody’s perceptions. It’s taking something that’s degrading and reversing it, empowering yourself through the hate.”

Spider legs

“These are from the Black Widow album cycle. I kept seeing this black spider within the imagery and all these pointy shiny things, so these legs come from that and turn us into these creatures. I drew them out and showed Chris and we had a fabricator come and make them for us.”

Mother Mary headpiece

“I wear this headpiece during our cover of In The Air Tonight . It’s one of my favourite songs and we cover it on the new album. We did it with really heavy tribal drums and it sounds like this ritual ceremony is happening, and I was envisioning snakes and this big goddess headpiece and this slithering movement mixed with the iconic empowerment of Mother Mary. It’s half beautiful and soft, and half sinister.”

Hat and knife

“This is the campy fun one. It’s for the title track from Black Widow . It’s a fun song where a bunch of Silent Hill evil nurses are onstage and we attack all the boys. It’s the not-so-serious moment in the set, for people to kind of smile and have fun with us.”

“These are for our new single Oh Lord . The orbs are like moon goddesses, and we become these natural, witchy, organic women in this song. It’s about how the moon influences, but it’s just a really beautiful visual.”

Fire goddess wings

“We like to have big ‘wow’ moments on the show and I love super-empowering visuals. We all love dragons and fire and we use these on the song Burn , which is about the rise of the phoenix. I open these huge, 30-feet red fabric wing things. I’m still learning how to use them, because they’re pretty hard to work with!”

Grammy-winning hard rock band Halestorm and Atlantic/Roadrunner band In This Moment announced today a third leg of their all-female fronted tour, with New Year’s Day supporting.

The new dates begin November 16th in Norfolk, VA, and run through December 16th, wrapping in St. Petersburg, FL.

“You asked for it, and now you’re gonna get it,” said Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale. “I’m so excited to announce the third leg with my empowering, beautifully Vicious women! Three tours and we don’t show any signs of slowing! We are joined by our friends in In This Moment and New Years Day starting in November! Get your tickets now because you don’t want to miss this!” “We are so beyond excited to be announcing the third leg of such an empowering and beautiful tour,” said Maria Brink of In This Moment. “We knew after completing the first leg that this was something people were going to be paying attention to, and it felt strong, it felt powerful, and it felt liberating. I am so excited to see everybody at the upcoming shows!” “Touring with Maria and Lzzy has been, by far, the best touring experience I’ve ever had,” said Ash Costello of New Years Day. “I am lifted up and supported by the amazing women of this tour, and everyone feels as if they are family who are rooting for each other to kill it every single night. The positivity is incredible on a personal level. Not to mention, the shows are absolutely ferocious. I am honored to be on stage with these incredible women of metal and rock once again! And honestly, I hope there’s no end in sight!”

Tickets go on-sale this Friday, July 27th, the release day of Halestorm’s fourth album,  Vicious , now available for pre-order HERE .  Also this Friday, all three bands kick off the second leg of the tour at Kansas City, MO’s Silverstein Eye Centers Arena.

On Friday, Halestorm released “ Do Not Disturb ,” the third song to be unveiled from  Vicious. The first single from the album, “ Uncomfortable ,” is currently top 10 at active rock radio. Produced by Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Alice In Chains, Rush),  Vicious  was recorded earlier this year at Nashville, TN’s Rock Falcon recording studio.

In This Moment’s latest album  RITUAL  arrived in July 2017 on the back of the Top 10 single “ Oh Lord .” The album landed at #1 on the Hard Music Chart, #3 on the Rock Chart, #9 on the Top Current Albums Chart, #10 on the Digital Albums Chart, and #23 on the Top 200. The critically lauded album also included the hit singles “ Roots ” and “ Black Wedding ,” the latter featuring an assist from Judas Priest’s Rob Halford. Vocalist  Maria Brink  and guitarist  Chris Howorth  recently recorded a brand new song, “ The Calling ,” which coincides with  DARK NIGHTS: METAL DELUXE EDITION . Listen  here .

The band also made a stunning top 10 chart debut with 2015’s acclaimed  BLACK WIDOW.  It was the band’s fifth full-length release and arrived at #8 on the SoundScan/Billboard 200, while also entering Billboard’s “Hard Rock Albums” tally at #3.  BLACK WIDOW  featured a string of rock radio hits, including “ Sick Like Me ,” “ Big Bad Wolf ,” “ Sex Metal Barbie ,” and “ The Fighter .” Official companion videos – all co-directed by Brink – are streaming at the band’s official  YouTube  channel. Furthermore, In This Moment’s 2012 album,  BLOOD , has been certified Gold by the RIAA, as have both singles “Blood” and “Whore.” A remarkable accomplishment, the companion music video for “Blood” has been viewed over 27 million times.

Known worldwide for their dramatic and cinematic live performances, In This Moment have received rapturous praise in a range of national outlets. “One of the most unique, diverse and theatrical live acts you could witness in heavy music today,” raved  Loudwire . “Not only are they a powerhouse sonically but visually they are beyond captivating… the production, sound and overall professional level of their concert experience has been elevated.”

Formed in Orange County, Calif. by  Ashley Costello ,  New Years Day  shook the scene with their  Century Media  debut,  Victim to Villain , in 2013 featuring their breakout single  “Angel Eyes.”  The five-piece later cemented their place in the heavy music landscape with their Epidemic   EP and critically-acclaimed  Malevolence   full-length in 2015, clocking more than 20 million views on YouTube. The band has since become the most visually-captivating group in modern rock, playing for millions of fans around the world, sharing the stage with  Ozzy Osbourne ,  Nine Inch Nails  and  Five Finger Death Punch  while also headlining the longest-running touring festival in 2017. As new challenges and new worlds beckon, the band released  Diary of a Creep  in January to pay tribute to the artists who shaped them thus far – stream their cover of Garbage’s “Only Happy When It Rains ft. Lzzy Hale” now .

The. Best. Night. Of. My. Entire. Life. This was the second time for me to see Adele. Last time I was quite high up, this time I was in Golden Circle. The atmosphere was incredible, Adele made me feel like I was the only one there in a packed out stadium. The banter she has with her audience in hilarious, she includes everyone and t feels like you're hanging out with your best mate you've known for years. As for her songs, the emotion and passion she sings with is just so raw and heart warming, I cried so many tears. You can tell she has an absolute ball on stage and she has so many upbeat songs and the sass she has is unreal- it cracks me up every time! I feel so grateful to have been apart of this tour and so happy that Adele decided to share this experience with every single one of us. I hope she has the most relaxing break with her family and hope she knows we'll always be here for her whenever/ if she decides to come back. Xx

Absolutely incredible! The music sounded amazing live, not like anything I've heard before. Jónsi Birgisson's voice is incredible live also, even earning applause from the crowd for the length of some of the notes he pulled off. The visuals were stunning. The lights and background of the stage were beautiful. Overall a wonderful experience and will absolutely be seeing them again if I get the opportunity!

HAIM delivered everything I expected at this show, and more! This band has so many different things going for it, that it is hard not to see them having a long successful career. As a matter of fact, in the music business of old, when there were not 10 zillion bands out there, HAIM would be playing arenas and probably making Fleetwood Mac kind of money…The Wiltern isn't the best sounding venue for sure, but HAIM overcame this and totally kicked ass, playing the tunes off of "DAYS ARE GONE" with passion and skill. As good as they all are, (and special kudos also to drummer Dash and keyboardist Tommy) it is hard not to focus on Danielle Haim and her major rock star charisma. It doesn't hurt that she rips it up on guitar and is a pretty kick ass drummer too…All in all, HAIM was amazing, and I would go back tonight if I could get a ticket...

The War on Drugs

Grace is a highly underrated quality for a rock band to possess. When compared to other, more universal assets like rawness, volume and ability it might seem a little forgettable, but a band playing to the absolute best of their ability and making it look as natural as breathing can be the genesis of some truly unforgettable moments of live music. Not one band that I’ve seen sums this sight up as well as Philadelphia indie rockers The War on Drugs, and when it comes to their sold out show at the Koko, Camden’s most ornate venue, most traditional phrases describing a well played gig seem too violent to sum it up. They didn’t “smash it”, they didn’t “blow the roof off”, they didn’t “destroy the place”, they were far better than that. Make no mistake, Adam Granduciel and co played up a storm, their psychedelia inflected country-rock filling every inch of this beautiful venue but the atmosphere was unlike any gig I’ve been to in a very long time. The crowd lost themselves in the music in a way that didn’t lead to mindless moshing and crowd-surfing, the 1400 people were enraptured, moved by the music, not to the music. It was an experience as beautiful as it was exciting and anyone with a passing interest in this life affirming lunacy we call Rock and Roll should seek it out as soon as possible.

Absolutely the best concert I was ever at, honestly I don't think any other artist could top this. She had such an incredible presence on stage, every eye was on her and her wonderful team. Dua and her dancers moved gracefully and fluidly, with bursts of power and energy. Her vocals were insanely beautiful, every word was sung with such passion and love. Her grand finale of IDGAF and New Rules was simply amazing, with breathtaking choreography and stunning visuals behind her. The band sounded great and the backup vocalists and dancers were on point for every minute. Without a doubt in my mind it was the very best live performance I have ever seen, and I don't think anything in the future will ever compare to it. Dua Lipa, Olympia Theatre, Dublin. Monday 9th April 2018.

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard

I saw these guys at the Subterranean in Chicago-- what an insane show. They electrified the crowd with non stop moshing, shoving, and stage diving, it was absolute madness. By the end of the gig I was utterly soaked with other peoples beer (theres always someone with a sloshing cup in a pit; why? just drink it!) and dripping with sweat. this show was epic, if you ever have the opportunity to see these guys you have to seize it-- they put on one hell of a show.

For new users looking to follow their favorite bands and performers, our Artists pages are often the best place to start.

Whether you're on our site, or using our free app for iPhone and Android, the Songkick artists search engine is the fastest and simplest way to keep track of who's doing what right now. Be the first to learn which acts are touring, when they might be playing a venue near you, and how to get tickets for any future shows you like the sound of.

Looking to discover someone new? Hey, you’re our kind of music fan. That's why we've also included upcoming Live Stream Concerts alongside our artist searches, meaning you can easily schedule a more casual drop-in from the comfort of your couch.

Since launching our first app back in 2007, you guys - the fans, the concert-goers, the musical explorers - have been at the very heart of everything we do here. Our dream and our drive was always to bring Songkick members closer than ever before to the sounds they love, and the people who create them. Simply put, we pride ourselves on being your direct link to the greatest music artists on the planet.

Who are they, exactly? Well, according to our members, that changes almost by the hour...so let's talk about how Songkick keeps you in the loop.

Best live artists

A quick glance at our Most Popular Artists chart might tell you a few key things about the sorts of music fans we vibe with. For starters, it shows just how varied our members' tastes are. Pop, rock, dance, hip-hop, indie/alt and R&B all feature heavily, alongside a whole bunch of underground genres and rising scenes.

No two of you are quite the same - and frankly, we love to see it! Any time you check in, our 'most popular artists worldwide' and 'trending artists this week' leaderboards always read like a line-up for the greatest, most diverse live festival on Earth.

Among the top searches and best-selling music artists on our global roster, you might find anyone from Rhianna, Coldplay, Eminem and Ed Sheeran, through to Drake, U2, Kanye West,

Maroon 5, Beyoncé, The Midnight, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Taylor Swift, Calvin Harris, Imagine Dragons, Justin Bieber - and that's barely looking outside the top 20.

In This Moment + Black Veil Brides Announce Joint 2021 North American Tour

In This Moment and Black Veil Brides will band together for The In-Between Tour this fall, the trek covering the United States from September to November.

As reported on Monday (May 17) by Revolver , the tour, first scheduled for 2020 before the coronavirus pandemic shuttered most large live events, features supporting artists in Ded and Raven Black .

See all the dates down toward the bottom of this post.

Taking its name from the lead single (" The In-Between ") from In This Moment's latest album, 2020's Mother , the 45-date tour kicks off in Lincoln, Neb., on Sept. 17 before winding up in Atlanta eight weeks later. Seeing as how the pandemic kept both bands from playing out until now, it will mark the first time that In This Moment can debut much of their Mother material in concert.

Black Veil Brides last year reimagined their debut, Re-Stitch These Wounds , in a re-recorded update, but the proper follow-up to their 2018 set  Vale   arrives later this year — it's called The Phantom Tomorrow .

Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday (May 21).

Zach Johnson Explains Viral Moment When He Appeared to Direct Profanity Toward Masters Fans

  • Author: Tom Dierberger

In this story:

Zach Johnson found himself in hot water on social media Friday during the second round of the 2024 Masters Tournament.

Johnson, who won the Masters in 2007, appeared to yell profanity toward Augusta National patrons on the par-3 12th hole after tapping in for a triple-bogey 6. He tossed his golf ball into Rae's Creek while walking off the green.

Johnson addressed the moment with reporters after finishing the second round with a three-over 75.

"That's laughable," Johnson said about the speculation that he swore at fans, according to Golf Channel's Brentley Romine . "That's completely laughable. I can't hear the patrons, number one. Number two, I just made a triple-bogey on the 12th hole that evidently is going to make me miss the cut, which at the time I knew was pretty sensitive in the sense that I needed to keep making pars.

"If I've said anything, which I'm not going to deny—especially if it's on camera—one, I apologize. And two, it was fully directed towards myself entirely because I can't hear anything behind me."

Zach Johnson says his swearing picked up by a mic at 12 was "fully directed toward myself." His full comments: pic.twitter.com/x9HviPQ5nh — Brentley Romine (@BrentleyGC) April 12, 2024

Johnson has had a few heated exchanges with fans in recent months. A video went viral in February when tensions mounted at the Phoenix Open between Johnson and a couple of rowdy fans.

Johnson likely will not make the cut at Augusta, as he sits seven over par after two rounds.

Ricky Martin appears to get an erection on stage at Madonna concert

The performer was apparently very excited to join Madonna in Miami for her "Celebration" tour.

who is on tour with in this moment

Ricky Martin appeared to be super excited by Madonna 's dancers shaking their bon-bons all up on him.

Madonna welcomed the 52-year-old on stage during a performance of "Vogue" at Sunday night's Celebration tour stop in Miami — and, judging by fan-captured videos from the concert shared online , Martin seemingly grew aroused by the dancers' sensual grinding in front of him.

Another video Martin shared to social media also appeared to show his alleged arousal during the moment. Shortly after taking the stage, Martin sat in one of two silver chairs to help Madonna judge the ballroom portion of the show, which typically sees the singer-songwriter's dancers strut down a runway to receive scores from which Madonna and a rotating roster of celebrity guest judges.

"Thank you @Madonna my love! Always fun to be invited to the party!" Martin tweeted alongside the video. "You all, CAN’T MISS THIS SHOW!"

Entertainment Weekly has reached out to representatives for Martin for comment.

Martin revealed earlier this year on an episode of Live With Kelly and Mark that he first met Madonna in 1999 following his performance at the Grammys, and the pair have remained friends ever since.

Other celebrities who've joined Madonna for the "Vogue" portion of the show include Julia Garner — who was initially hired to play Madonna in the star's delayed , self-directed biopic — RuPaul's Drag Race stars Sapphira Cristál , Plane Jane , Symone , and Monét X Change , and David Harbour , who starred in Madonna's 2011 directorial effort W.E.

Uruguayan singer-songwriter Jorge Drexler is embarking on his first tour of Europe

Uruguayan singer-songwriter Jorge Drexler is embarking on his first tour of Europe, describing it as being like a “first date.” (April 12)

MADRID (AP) — Capitalizing on an impressive moment in Spanish-language music, Uruguayan singer-songwriter Jorge Drexler is embarking on his first tour of Europe.

“Even Don Quixote didn’t get as far as urban Spanish-speaking music is getting today in the world. You can go everywhere and you will find music that was written in Spanish,” he told The Associated Press in an interview. “I’m happy to see that (Spanish) opens doors to places that I never thought that we could get before.”

His award-winning latest album, “Tinta y tiempo” (“Ink and time”), earned him four of his 13 Latin Grammy Awards, part of a haul that includes an Oscar.

On his tour Drexler will perform live for the first time “Derrumbe,” a song about the loss of love that he rescued from his notes. The song was included in the 2021 TV show “Todo va a estar bien”.

The European tour will be more intimate than the shows of recent years, with voice, guitar and an open repertoire — a “first date” with an audience that Drexler expects will be seeing him for the first time.

“I have always looked West,” he said, with performances in the United States, Canada, Mexico and elsewhere. “I have so much work in that part of the world that I didn’t look East enough.”

He looks forward to seeing some European cities for the first time and visiting others such as Paris and Berlin after many years. The tour will take him to Denmark, Ireland, Italy and Sweden, among other countries.

After the tour ends in mid-June, he will return to the leather armchair in his studio in Madrid to sit with a guitar and a blank piece of paper and “try to get lucky.”

But as his repertoire grows, songwriting becomes more complicated because “the more you release, the more space that occupies in your brain,” Drexler said.

“Once you’ve written 200 or 300 songs, each and every new song has to open a little space,” he said.

Resorting to artificial intelligence is not an option, at least for now. He tested ChatGPT and, although the result “was perfectly written, from a syntactic, orthographic point of view,” it lacked poetry.

“I like biographies and I like songwriters, and I like to get to know the personality of a person. And I like the mistakes that guide you through unexpected places. So, I still prefer songs written by human beings,” he said.

Drexler also enjoys collaborations in the creative process, such as the ones with C.Tangana , Rubén Blades , or Noga Erez in his previous album.

“It’s a relief for me, it relieves me from myself,” he said. “My worst enemy when it comes to writing is my past, my obsessions, the way I work. It’s what I am. And I’m happy to show it, but at the same time, it’s a big, big burden.”

In collaborating, there are no restrictions in the kind of music or the generations that listen.

“I don’t think that the music we did in the past was the (good) music, like most of my generation,” Drexler said. “(I’m) more interested in the music that my 12-year-old daughter listens to than the one that my generation used to listen to. So I try to be open to different things.”

This story has been updated to correct the number of Latin Grammys Drexler won for the album Tinta y tiempo” (“Ink and time”) and removes a reference to the song “Derrumbe” being new.

Travis Kelce Wore a Sweet Nod to Taylor Swift at UC Graduation

The NFL star took the stage wearing Eras Tour friendship bracelets

who is on tour with in this moment

JC Olivera/Getty; Amy Sussman/Getty Images

Travis Kelce 's graduation day accessories subtly honored girlfriend Taylor Swift .

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and his brother, former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, received their college diplomas at a “surprise commencement” ceremony at the University of Cincinnati on April 11. The duo took the stage during a live event for their podcast New Heights with Travis, 34, noticeably rocking a beaded bracelet reminiscent of the kind Swift’s fans famously exchange during the singer’s Eras Tour.

Both brothers have previously graduated from the university (Travis earned a degree in interdisciplinary studies in 2022 and Jason, 36, got a bachelor’s degree in marketing), but neither attended their commencement ceremonies at the time, per the Cincinnati Enquirer .

In a photo from the ceremony posted by the Cincinnati Bearcats on Instagram , Travis can be seen speaking into a microphone while red and white confetti falls around him. On his wrist are multiple bracelets, one of which looks very similar to the friendship bracelets that were swapped by fans during Swift’s tour. The bracelet appears to contain letter beads, but it’s not clear what it spells out.

This isn’t the first time Travis has gotten in on the Eras Tour bracelet trend. In fact, he attempted to give his own DIY design to Swift, 34, before they officially started dating.

In February 2024, he was decked out in friendship bracelets while supporting Swift at her concert in Sydney, Australia. In a video posted on X , he can be seen standing in the VIP tent smiling toward the stage and dancing with beaded bracelets on both of his wrists.

Travis was also spotted in beaded bracelets at his brother’s NFL retirement press conference . In photos from the March 4 event, the football star wears three bracelets, including a beaded friendship bracelet with the name “Kelce” spelled out with letter beads.

Never miss a story — sign up for  PEOPLE's free daily newsletter  to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories.

Travis and Swift went public with their romance in September 2023 and in the months since, have supported each other for career milestones. The “Cruel Summer” singer cheered Travis on at multiple games throughout the past NFL season, including the Super Bowl, in which the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers.

As Swift gears up for the European leg of her two-year Eras Tour, Travis is set to accompany her. An insider told PEOPLE that the pair “are making plans for the summer and are excited to travel together in Europe when Taylor takes her tour there."
