The Beats Tour are wired headphones. In the case of studio and professional DJ headphones, a wired connection is a standard and a necessity. Fashion-forward designs have recently been making quite a bit of headway in the headphone space. It doesn't take much effort to find a pair that matches your MP3 player or can be coordinated by outfit , although manufacturers with true eyes for design take things a step further. Take Monster Cable's Beats by Dr. Dre Headphones , a super stylish set of cans announced at CES 2008 . The company is now adding to the fashionable line with the Tour In-Ear Headphones, an ultraportable set that sports the signature red and black coloring. This $150 pair once again proves that hip hop-branded headphones won't necessarily offer an overwhelming low-end response, and also leads us to believe Dr. Dre may have the deepest ear canals known to man.

The Bottom Line

The Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Tour In-Ear Headphones have perhaps the longest earpieces we've ever seen. The 'buds measure a full inch from end to end, and half of that length is made up of the arms that hold the eartips. Half an inch isn't that long for most gadgets, but the scale is considerably altered when you have to stick the gadget into your ear. As a result, fit can be an issue. Although Monster includes five sets of silicone eartips (three sizes of standard and two sizes of triple flange), we found the Tour earphones to be fairly uncomfortable and could never really get a secure fit. Plus, the ends of the 'buds tend to stick out pretty far from the head.

Of course, fit is highly personal. One could make that argument for style, too, but there's no denying that the Tour earphones will add quite a bit of flair to your listening setup. The entire design is unique, from the flattened, disc-shaped earbuds--decked out in the signature lowercase "b" logo--to the red ribbon of a cable. The cord, which terminates in a gold-plated straight plug, is like few we've seen; flat and thick, it appears to be more durable than most earbud cables--definitely a plus. Monster also includes a hard-sided zippered case for storing and protecting your investment when it's not in use.

The Beats by Dr. Dre Tour In-Ear Headphones may not present an overwhelming low-end, but bass is not lacking and it's nice and tight. As with their full-size siblings, these 'phones offer an impressively crisp high end with good detail. If anything, music tends to sound a bit cold for our liking, with the 'phones slightly lacking in the rich and buttery mids that add the desired warmth. However, we were generally impressed with the clear and balanced audio response during testing, though a few songs could sound harsh. Hip hop, electronic, and pop are genres that shine, and even classical sounds good. If you can get a good fit and want the most stylish earbuds you can get your hands on, the Tour In-Ear Headphones are a worthwhile option.

As described and perfect for me.

These are genuine and the serial number can be verified on Beats website. I had to try out the replacement buds to get the perfect fit and I really enjoy listening to my music when travelling. Sound is great and background noise is not an issue. Asked my husband to see if he could hear my music when sitting next to me and he couldn't. User manual is in the box and so is the warranty information. It is a discontinued model, but still a great set of headphones. I have worn them in the rain, and nothing has broken so I do believe they are splash proof. Once in place they stay, so could probably be worn during work out.

This forum is mainly for DIY travellers.

It’s very easy to plan it yourself.

Where does it say in the forum that it’s for DIY travelers? I am aware I can plan it myself. That was not my question.

I agree with Tommo this forum is mainly frequented by DiYers and I would be gobsmacked if you got a recommendation for a third party travel agency. I have not seen one mentioned in an epoch here and those were mentioned (mainly pre-pandemic) were because something had hone wrong.

DjYing is really easy once you have pinned down what you want to and where you want to go.

It doesnt say that but those enquiring on this forum usually ask questions about planning their own trip. Those who would have booked via a travel agency would normally not ask many questions as their agent would look after all the arrangements for them.

Tommy Fleetwood was on dad duty for his stepson Oscar Craig this week in his first Challenge Tour start.

The 7-time DP World Tour winner was Craig’s caddie for his debut as he helped lead the youngster to a 2-under through 36 holes.

Playing as an amateur, Craig fired off a 3-under 69 on Thursday and a 1-over 73 on Friday to make the cut in his debut.

Craig finished bogey-free on Day 1 with birdies at Nos. 4, 8 and 18.

Friday’s round proved tougher for the youngster, but he tallied three birdies to go with four bogeys.

The 17-year-old was the only amateur to make the weekend at the UAE Challenge at Saadiyat Beach Golf Club in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Fleetwood boasted about his stepson on social media after their round.

“Oscar you earned your way into your first Challenge Tour event with your hard work and talent! So proud to witness you make the cut against this quality field. Golf is great,” Fleetwood wrote.

The Englishman commented on a video the Challenge Tour posted with both having smiles across their faces. He pulled him into a giant hug and couldn’t stop smiling while they walked off the green.

They celebrated with family and friends. His mom, Claire Fleetwood, was also there to embrace him.

Fleetwood knows all about the Challenge Tour. At 20 years old, he was the youngest player to finish atop the rankings in 2011 after he won the Kazakhstan Open.

He went on to win his first DP World Tour event, the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles, in 2013.

Fleetwood's caddie duties will continue for the next two days as Craig secured his spot for the weekend. While he will not take home any money, playing all four days in a professional golf event is quite the feat.
