This all-inclusive three-and-a-half-pearl hotel just off the Marmaris waterfront is an attractive hotel with solid amenities. A mixed crowd of couples and small families from various countries.

With its gleaming white exterior and turquoise-tinted glass on the guest-room balconies, the Casa De Maris has a classic Mediterranean look on the outside, and a more contemporary style inside. Guests are primarily couples and small families, from Western European countries (mostly on Tui- or Thompson-operated trips) as well as Turkey and the Middle East. Some business travelers stay here in the spring and fall shoulder seasons, too. Like many other hotels in Marmaris, the Casa De Maris is closed in winter; it’s generally open April through October, though exact dates vary each year.

Set back slightly from the waterfront, but still has beach access

Two blocks back from the southern (and somewhat quieter) end of the Marmaris waterfront, the Casa De Maris is less than a five-minute walk to the beach and the restaurants and bars along the shore. It’s a 15-minute drive to the Marmaris castle, old town, and harbor, where both excursion boats and the ferry to Rhodes, Greece, dock. The main road behind the hotel has more places to eat and drink, as well as some shops; minibuses that stop along here run to the bus station (a 15-minute ride) and to the neighboring resort of İçmeler (about 10 minutes by car). The closest airport is about 90 minutes away by car in the town of Dalaman.

Spacious, stylish rooms with balconies and a modern feel

The 190 guest rooms at Casa De Maris are nearly all Standard Rooms, equipped with either a double bed or two twins. They’re spacious and bright, with contemporary wood-framed mirrors, purple bed runners and curtains, and lounge chairs and ottomans in other warm accent colors. All units have balconies, though less than one-fifth have full sea views. Two Suite Rooms have a similar look, with added vases, statues, carpets, and other decor. They have curved walls, large living rooms with sectional sofas separated from the bedrooms by a sliding door, and larger balconies. Amenities are a plus -- there's air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, minibars, electric kettles with free tea and instant coffee, safes (fee), and slippers. 

Bathrooms have separate toilets and showers, though spaces are a tight squeeze, and en-suite vanities. Some visitors say the sliding frosted-glass doors separating the toilets don't provide enough privacy for those sharing rooms. All bathrooms have rainfall showers with removable showerheads, hairdryers, and an ample selection of nicely packaged toiletries. Suites add double sinks and double mirrors. 

Beach access, pool, and an attractive spa, but deposit for towels, and weak Wi-Fi 

With a mid-sized pool and a generous stretch of beachfront a short walk away, the Casa De Maris offers options for swimming and sunbathing, though some guests say the pool area can run short on sunbeds. Towel service for both is available with a deposit.

The Artemis Spa & Wellness area downstairs is attractively decorated with artwork, tropical flowers, and wooden furniture. It has two marble-covered Turkish baths, one quite good-sized; a dry sauna; four massage rooms (extra charge); a relaxation area with cushioned loungers; and a medium-sized gym with a handful of cardio and weight machines.

An international buffet of hot and cold dishes is served at each meal in the Maris restaurant on the hotel’s ground floor; local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are covered by the all-inclusive rates and are available in the restaurant, indoor lounge, and at the pool bar. Meals can also be ordered off a menu for an extra charge at the Saranda restaurant, a light, airy space with a small garden. A patisserie offers coffee, tea, and sweets after meals and in the late afternoon, with live piano music.

An animation team organizes activities such as water aerobics, pool games, and tournaments of beer pong or darts during the day, and evening entertainment six nights a week includes live music, fire shows, “gala” dinners, and Turkish nights, with the schedule changing every two weeks. Kids can join a mini-disco dance party every night, and hang out in a staffed kids’ club by the pool area during the day. Tui and other tour operators organize paid excursions such as boat trips and jeep tours.

Other on-site facilities include a jewelry shop, hairdresser, mini-mart, handbag shop, doctor’s office, and a medium-size meeting room. Wi-Fi is available for free throughout the hotel, though some guests say the signal can be weak. There’s also a small, dark internet corner with a few computers for guests’ use.

Everything about this hotel was stunning. The location is ideal and right on the beach front. The food and cleanliness was impeccable.... Very friendly and attentive staff, especially the lovely guest relations manager Evren who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The entertainment team were always around to try and get you involved in activities, but weren't pushy and happy to leave you alone. Exceptional food and service in the restaurant, nothing was too much trouble for our waiter Yanuz. Unlike some places nothing is extra and all inclusive is 24/7.

We went there during our honeymoon and the staff /management upgraded us to the suite room which was an absolute delight. They decorated the room for us which was a kind gesture. The room was spacious, sea facing and well maintained. The room had a huge balcony as well.We took the full board option, which ensured that all meals and alcohol was all inclusive. The property has access to its own private beach. Marmaris city centre is 5 - 10 minutes by Taxi. The staff was extremely helpful and always quick to respond to any / all of our needs.

Tucked away at the bottom end of Long Beach, Casa De Maris is one of Marmaris' most popular accommodation options. Famous for its classy and luxurious interior design and lively atmosphere, it manages to bring together the beauty of Marmaris' stunning landscape and legendary party vibe in the form of a 5-star resort.

This side of Long Beach also has a reputation as a wellness and healing destination. It offers several excellent yoga and spa retreats in case you need to recover after a wild night, which is a high possibility here in Marmaris.

Casa De Maris Spa & Resort - First Impressions

It is fair to say upfront that Casa de Maris is a spectacular beach hotel, as are most of the other top-rated hotels and aparts in Marmaris. After all, receiving hundreds of positive feedback from guests every year means they must be doing something right. It is also reasonably priced (for a 5-star, of course) and well maintained.

In addition, the hotel has ample amenities, including an extensive spa, a large pool, excellent food & beverage outlets, and more. The one downside to this hotel is that it has 189 rooms, so it definitely doesn’t have the unique boutique feel that some of the other popular hotels in Marmaris do.

Understandably not a huge deal for many, as not many of us expect absolute serenity from a five-star hotel. Still, some of the other hotels in this part of Marmaris have a certain continental atmosphere that makes you feel at home in this lovely little Mediterranean town. But not Casa De Maris, unfortunately.

However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that Casa De Maris will not be your next favorite thing. As a matter of fact, most return visitors swear by the resort, and not for nothing, as you’ll see in this review.

Where Is Casa De Maris Located?

Casa De Maris has a pretty much unbeatable location in Marmaris. It’s close enough to the center of the action that you won’t have to take a cab to come back but also far enough that you can still go to sleep without having to put earplugs in. If you're more interested in a well-located hotel in Icmeler, on the other hand, there are many other fantastic options to check out like the Aqua and the Navy Resort.

In addition, it’s within walking distance of the city center, where most of the action is in terms of shopping and partying. The immediate area also has several hole-in-the-wall restaurants, cafes, and bars.

If you’re flying into or out of Dalaman International Airport, you can expect the transfer to take around an hour between the airport and hotel.

Casa De Maris Reception

The reception area is very extravagant, leaving many first-timers feeling like billionaires. It certainly gives an excellent first impression of your holiday in Marmaris and is also an accurate foreshadowing of the rest of the hotel.

However, the beauty of the reception quickly begins to fade after having to wait there for ages. Many guests complain that they have had to wait up to half an hour just to get to the front desk because of the swell of guests coming in at the same time, especially during the peak of the holiday season. Admittedly not what you want after a long trip.

Casa De Maris Rooms

After checking in, one of the bellboys will take your luggage and direct you to your room. Feel free to tip them as the cleaning and reception staff are usually those tipped the least. There are four room types to choose from:

Depending on the view, there is about a 30% price difference between the standard rooms, but the interior is exactly the same. Don’t let ‘standard’ fool you; these rooms are absolutely gorgeous and more than luxurious. These are decked with everything you can expect from a five-star, and either one or two double beds depending on your preference.

The suite room is considerably more expensive. The primary differences are that suites have their own large balconies overlooking the beach, and the beds are king-size. The interior of these is different from the standard rooms and, admittedly, much more luxurious.

Dining & Snacks

The main restaurant offers all-day dining where traditional Turkish and International flavors are combined through sizzling grills and elite kitchen staff. You are invited to have a memorable dining experience with an open kitchen, ample space, and a magnificent view.

Moreover, there is an evening special for different world cuisines pretty much every evening. So even if you’re not a massive fan of their standard menus, you can always hit up a couple of these culinary expeditions to treat your taste buds. Keep in mind, though, that these do cost extra for some stays.

Apart from that, the standard all-day snacking options are available too. If you’re feeling a bit peckish or could do with a drink, feel free to raid one of the poolside snack bars or hit the beach and get yourself mojitos on tap.

Casa De Maris Amenities

Now, this is where Casa De Maris really rises above the crowd. The extra price unsurprisingly comes with plenty of additional amenities. These include:

The sauna, in particular, is very impressive. It is a perfect next stop after a grueling gym session or a long day under the sun. Oh, and while there, don’t forget to cash in your free massage vouchers.

Other than that, the main pool is large enough to accommodate the scale of visitors even during the peak season. But if the sun is getting to you a bit too much, you can always head over to one of the mostly-empty indoor pools.

After having relaxed nicely, you may wish to consider attending the evening activity of the day. These range from traditional dances and karaoke nights to circus acts and fire shows. Who knows what you’ll run into!

Just returned from a superb weeks stay at the Casa de maris hotel. The hotel is very nice indeed but the staff make this place. Guys like Vehbi, Davut, Enis, Guney and many more ensure nothing is too much trouble. The food is fantastic and the drink selection is equally as impressive. The hotel is kept immaculate throughout. Special mention to the fantastic jewellers and hairdressers on site too. Bought my wife a pendant and chain and my daughter some ear rings from there and they were first class and gave me a fantastic deal. The hairdressers was excellent too with the very many ways of making you feel a million dollars. I literally couldn't find a fault with anything to do with this hotel, in fact ive already booked for next year! Thank you again guys.... mark, vicky and evie.

Came here a week ago and was gutted I had to leave, the staff are amazing and always have a laugh, and who can’t complain about a 24 hour free bar with amazing staff like bilal the night barman, yaman and more, also the holiday reps such as alican Alice and lopeso where amazing and full of energy, definitely coming back

Stayed here for 7 nights beginning April. Staff are so lovely and can't do enough for you. The food was very good and excellent choice. Hotel so clean and also fab rooms. We upgraded to a sea view room. Maris Jewellery - Jewellery at the hotel jewellers is amazing and so beautiful. Hubby bought me a new diamond solitaire engagement ring and I'm so happy with it. A lot cheaper cost then the UK amd through staff are so lovely and not pushy at all. Tahir really knows his stuff. Really can recommend. Hairdressers - had my hair washed and blowed twice. He is excellent at vlow drying hair. Husband had a shave and ear candles plus a few other things too. Recommend here. Bag shop - just opened. Great quality and lovely staff. Entertainment - staff work so hard and they had to do it all inside as the weather was a bit poo lol. They are lovely and we had a real laugh. Especially Alice, Lydia and AliG. We would definitely recommend and return next year. My husband has limited mobility and uses a wheelchair when there is walking distances, but hotel fully accessible Food excellent for all inclusive Drinks are good too Met some wonderful staff including Aysegul (lily), my new daughter. Such a lovely girl. I was so sad to leave her 😞 All staff are so Great from Management to lunchtime and bar staff Keep up the good work ❤️

I have just come back from here and I have to say that the staff at this hotel were the best I’ve found in a long time. Always friendly, helpful and polite. It was a well run complete experience. There was so much choice in the restaurant so should have been something for even the fussiest eaters. Every morning a lovely lady made me a freshly cooked omelette. Lunches and dinner there was a huge selection of starters, main course and puddings. I ate a lot of vegetable based meals as the meat and fish options were not the best. The fish even if covered in breadcrumbs had tiny bones in, the meat if fried was cooked too much and chewy sometimes almost biscuit like. But their vegetable based dishes were extremely well cooked. I particularly loved the stuffed aubergine and the gratin dishes. Puddings were plentiful, my husband particularly liked these. I’m not a huge pudding eater as I prefer the savoury. If I partook it was in the plainer options when they were available. Like little dishes of rice pudding. The coffee here was absolutely brilliant even though it was a machine choice one. It’s usually a huge problem for me as I’m totally addicted to my caffeine and as we were all inclusive I was pretty sure I’d have to go elsewhere for it. Really good coffee. My only real complaint is probably because we went early season and cheaper, then we had a regular turnover of short stay binge drinkers on our floor. This resulted in being woken regularly throughout the night by shouting swearing, door banging and one night our doorbell was rung at 2 in the morning followed by giggling and running away. I did after that experience have a word at reception who suggested phoning them next time this happened and they’d send security up to our floor. I hadn’t realised this would be an option as I’d never seen any security there and hadn’t rung down before because I’m not sure anyone on reception could have dealt with it. Thankfully our last night there was peaceful. I also wasn’t keen on being interrupted by people trying to get you to go to the hairdresser , massage parlour or on a trip when you were sitting and relaxing. I expect that when you’re wandering around out of hotel grounds not in them. My suggestion would be for the hotel to try and room age groups together on floors if at all possible. Because we know our neighbours were being disturbed too. So overall a brilliant hotel with amazing staff where nothing is too much trouble. I would happily go there again.

We have just returned from a weeks stay and I must say this is by far the best hotel we have stayed in during our trips to Marmaris. Every single member of staff were excellent especially the food and beverage manager and his team. The bar staff were excellent both poolside and inside the hotel. There was a great variety of food everyday and plenty to choose from. The standard of the cocktails and drinks were excellent for Turkey as previous trips in other hotels were always cheap spirits and not the standard that you get here. When we arrived we had a side room and although I could see the sea I was hoping for a full sea view so when I asked the polite team on the check in desk there was a better room available the following day with a cost of only £10 a night extra which for me was a bargain so very much appreciated for the room swap as was then on the top floor with a fantastic view. We will definitely use this hotel when we return to Marmaris as we really had a great time here. Special thanks to the food and beverage Manager and the guys in the inside bar.
