Check out the full tour itinerary below. Venue pre-sales begin today, Wednesday, April 19, at 12pm local time HERE . Additionally, the band revealed the videos for two new songs – “Banshee” and “Rebel” – which can be streamed below now.

Last month, Extreme announced SIX – their first new studio album in over a decade. The record arrives on June 9 via earMUSIC. It is the long awaited follow-up to 2008’s  Saudades de Rock . The band also revealed the video for the album’s lead single “Rise” which was directed by lead guitarist Nuno Bettencourt.

“Musically, it’s aggressive,” says frontman Gary Cherone about album opener “Rise.” “Lyrically, it’s a cautionary tale on the rise and fall of fame. You get seduced into it. Once you’re on top, they’ll rip you apart and tear you down. That’s the nature of the beast.”

In addition to directing the music video for “Rise,” Bettencourt also produced the record.

“When Eddie Van Halen passed, it really hit me,” shares Nuno. “I’m not going to be the one who will take the throne, but I felt some responsibility to keep guitar playing alive. So, you hear a lot of fire on the record.”

New York City natives Living Colour released their last studio album Shade back in 2017.

Extreme and Living Colour Launch Joint Tour: Video and Set Lists

Extreme and Living Colour  opened  their joint tour  on Wednesday at the State Theatre in Portland, Maine. You can see the set lists and videos below.

Both groups will share the stage for a month of U.S. dates on the Thicker Than Blood tour, which runs through the end of August. They'll head overseas for additional shows in Australia and Japan before the trek concludes on Sept. 26.

Extreme is touring in support of Six , their first studio album since 2008's Saudades de Rock . Singer  Gary Cherone  recently told UCR they were particularly excited to play the new song " #Rebel " live. "That’s one we will probably do live for the rest of our lives. Because it’s aggressive," he explained. "I think some of the one-off festivals that we play in Europe, it might even open up the set. It’s a punch in the face."

True to his word, "#Rebel" was indeed the opening shot in Extreme's blistering 21-song set. The performance featured five songs from Six , with "Other Side of the Rainbow" and "Small Town Beautiful" making their live debuts. Extreme represented each of their albums, going heavy on tracks from their breakout Pornograffiti  and its follow-up, III Sides to Every Story .

They had fun, too, teasing a bit of Led Zeppelin's " Stairway to Heaven " before playing their chart-topping smash " More Than Words ."  Six's " Rise ," featuring a nuclear guitar solo by Nuno Bettencourt, helped wind down the concert in fiery fashion as the first song in the Boston band's encore.

Living Colour's nine-song opening set proved to be the perfect primer. The funk-metal veterans focused on their classic era, with the entirety of their stage time devoted to songs from their first three albums, Vivid , Time's Up and Stain . Opening with Vivid's "Middle Man," Living Colour mixed in fan favorites like "Type" and " Leave It Alone " alongside deeper cuts. They closed out their performance with a powerful double shot of the classic "Cult of Personality" and "Time's Up."

The Thicker Than Blood tour continues tonight in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire.

Extreme Announces New Album and World Tour With Living Colour

The band—Gary Cherone (vocals), Nuno Bettencourt, Pat Badger (bass), and Kevin Figueiredo (drums)—have shared two new singles

extreme living colour tour

Multi-platinum hard rock icons EXTREME ’s latest single “ Rise ” has seen unprecedented success following its debut on March 1 alongside a fiery music video which has received over 2 million views to date. The critically acclaimed song, from their new album SIX out June 9 via earMUSIC , has earned praise from international top tier media outlets including Consequence, Classic Rock, Music Radar and Guitar World in addition to accolades from such fellow musical peers as Brian May and radio personality Howard Stern while peaking at #3 on the Classic Rock charts.

The band— Gary Cherone (vocals), Nuno Bettencourt , Pat Badger (bass), and Kevin Figueiredo (drums)—have today ( April 19 ) shared two new singles along with dazzling videos to accompany each: “ Banshee ” and “ #Rebel .” Watch both streaming below or visit HERE for “ Banshee ” and HERE for “ #REBEL .”

“ Banshee ” is a seductive classic hard rock tune with a chugging rhythm section, playful guitar wizardry and electrifying vocals that testify to the power and inspiration of the female form and spirit.” “ #REBEL ” takes on scathing so-called keyboard warriors with its head-nodding beat and searing dive bomb lead guitar runs catering to the harder edges of EXTREME ’s sound. “We’re calling out those trolls who can’t back up their words,” explains Cherone .

extreme living colour tour

EXTREME are also excited to announce they will bring SIX ’s music to audiences across the globe on the “ Thicker Than Blood Tour .” The tour will see the band visit North America from August 2-29 and Australia from September 6-13 where they will be joined by special guests Living Colour . EXTREME will also continue to bring the “Thicker Than Blood Tour” to audiences in Japan from September 17-26. Tickets for Japan will go on sale April 22. GA tickets and VIP upgrades–which include access to the band’s soundcheck–for the North American dates will go on sale Friday, April 21 at 10:00 A.M. local time as well as tickets for Australia.

On SIX , EXTREME swing between unapologetic fits of fret-burning hard rock and intimately introspective balladry. For the recording of the Bettencourt -produced 12-track album, the members buckled down at his home studio in Los Angeles to channel the electrifying eclecticism that defined their seminal output with a 21 st century twist.

This dynamic affirms the iconic Boston quartet as one of rock’s most unpredictable, undeniable, and unbreakable groups whose songs course through the very fabric of popular culture. They’re the rare band whose music has appeared in an actual cult series a la Bill & Ted as well as the Netflix juggernaut “Stranger Things.” They’ve sold 10 million records, topped the Billboard Hot 100 at #1, packed major venues on multiple continents, memorably performed at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert in London, and regularly average over 5 million monthly listeners on Spotify. However, their dynamic approach hits harder than ever on their 2023 full-length offering, SIX .

The track listing for SIX is:

4. Other Side of the Rainbow

5. Small Town Beautiful

6. The Mask

7. Thicker Than Blood

9. Hurricane

* EXTREME only

EXTREME 's new album, "Six" , came out on June 9 via earMUSIC . "Six" landed at position No. 10 on Billboard's Top Album Sales chart with first-week sales of 12,500 copies. The set marked the band's first studio album since 2008. The act was last in the Top 10 with "III Sides To Every Story" , which debuted and peaked at No. 10 back in October 1992.

Two months ago, Nuno told Tiago Ribeiro , that he was thrilled with how "Six" turned out. "I would put our album up against anybody's album; I feel that confident," Nuno said. "And I think the album itself — never mind me or EXTREME — if I heard that album and it wasn't us, I would think the same way I think about the album now. I think it belongs there. I think it's a well-made album. I think the songs are there. I think that the musicianship, the chemistry and the guitar playing. But I think, more importantly, what's really there and what people are connecting with is the mythology of rock and roll. I think that's really what's missing a lot in guitar-driven music, is that…

"I think when people saw a guitar player that's in a band with songs and arrangements and the videos and everything, it was almost like seeing something that… People are saying it's so fresh, but for us, it's, like, this is like going back for us," he explained. "This is more of a reminder than it is anything else that you can still be passionate and have fire and do all those things. And the people are letting us know that they're starved — they're starved for rock and roll like this, I think."

The multi-platinum hard rock group Extreme are thrilled to extend their global headlining “Thicker Than Blood Tour” for a second US leg. Following an impressive run of sold-out shows and high fan demand, the band will be back on the road for an additional 21 dates alongside special guests, Living Colour. Kicking off in Englewood, NJ on January 24th, the tour will see the band make stops across the country throughout the following month, all before joining the Monsters of Rock Cruise out of Miami, FL from March 2nd to March 7th.

“We have been absolutely blown away by all of the love and support during the first leg of the Thicker Than Blood Tour. You all have shown up and brought it every night and we could not be more grateful. So with that, we are excited to announce the second US leg of the Thicker Than Blood Tour with special guests Living Colour. Can't wait to see you out there!”

- Nuno Bettencourt

A busy year in the works with the release of their latest album SIX on June 9th, these heavy rockers are keeping the momentum going with even more to come. This exciting announcement comes just in time for Extreme’s highly anticipated international run across Australia, Japan, and Europe heading into the fall. Most recently on September 6th, the band debuted their brand-new music video for the track “The Mask” off SIX.  Directed by the band’s own Nuno Bettencourt, fans can watch the new video HERE, and enjoy SIX on all streaming platforms NOW!

With the force of a Boston wrecking ball, EXTREME swing between unapologetic fits of fret-burning hard rock and intimately introspective balladry. This dynamic affirms the iconic multiplatinum Beantown quartet—Gary Cherone (vocals), Nuno Bettencourt (guitar), Pat Badger (bass), and Kevin Figueiredo (drums)—as one of rock’s most unpredictable, undeniable, and unbreakable groups whose songs course through the very fabric of popular culture. However, their dynamic approach hits harder than ever on their 2023 full-length offering, Six.

Leonid Vorobyev's goal was a studio project in dedication to Chicago under the motto “musicians for musicians”. Their first video went viral, but they really gained traction when Chicago itself published the video on its official website. They have since expanded their repertoire to include Earth Wind & Fire, Blood Sweat & Tears, Ides of March, Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan, Deep Purple, and new original material. Understand [ edit ]

Khimki is part of the Moscow conurbation, on the banks of the Moscow channel and the Klyazma river, and one of the highest density rate in the region.

Before the city, there were several noble lands, which villages are still exist. During the late 19th century, the site of Khimki station became (and remains) the place of Muscovite dachas. Khimki was granted city status, and the Stariye Khimki development was completed. Since then, development programs have turned the countryside into an important city in the region.

Today, Khimki is not only a residential district, but also an important economic and trade center of the Moscow conurbation.

Districts [ edit ]

  • Stariye Khimki . The main part of the city with Stalinist architecture.
  • Khimki forest area . The quite and remarkable side with classic Russian country houses and dachas.
  • Noviye Khimki . The residential district. Not the destination to explore.

Get in [ edit ]

Map

Since Khimki is close to Moscow, has very high population density and a lot of development projects, the city is under blockade by Moscow to protect the capital's transport infrastructure from the flood of people and vehicles migrating in and out every day. There are no ways of comfortable and fast way to get the city.

By car [ edit ]

Khimki is accessible by car via Leningradsky Hwy from Moscow. The part of this highway from Moscow till end of Khimki city limits is the busiest road in Russia.

By public transport [ edit ]

By suburban train from Leningradskii station to Khimki station or Levoberegnaya platform (a district on the left bank of Moscow channel).

A lot of buses and marshrutkas run from Rechnoy Vokzal metro station, at the north end of the Green Line. You can also reach Khimki by marshrutka, bus or trolleybus from Planernaya metro station.

Get around [ edit ]

The most comfortable way to explore the city is to bike or take a car .

Wolves vs Spartak Moscow Signed Programme 1954

Molineux was one of few English grounds that could boast about having floodlights in the mid-1950s, and this led to a series of night-time friendlies against illustrious foreign opposition for Wolves during that period.

Spartak has defeated Arsenal days earlier at Highbury, so it was down to Wolves to restore English pride which they duly did running out 4 – 0 winners after four goals in the final ten minutes of the game.

This programme has been signed by both squads – we also have some items from the Dynamo Moscow friendly here .
