What are Platinum Seats? Platinum Seats are premium tickets to concerts and other events made available by artists and event providers. They give fans fair and safe access to some of the best seats in the house.

Are Platinum Seats resale tickets? No. Platinum Seats were not purchased initially and then posted for resale; they are being sold for the first time. Platinum Seats enables market-based pricing (adjusting prices according to supply and demand) for live event tickets, similar to how airline tickets and hotel rooms are sold. The goal is to give the most passionate fans fair and safe access to the best tickets, while enabling artists and other people involved in staging live events to price tickets closer to their true value.

What is the current price per ticket? The price you pay is the original price of the ticket. Platinum Seats were not purchased initially and then posted for resale; they are being sold for the first time on the Ford Idaho Center's ticket sales site on behalf of the artist or event provider. Note that prices can increase or decrease at any time and there are no exchanges or adjustments for previously purchased tickets.

Jason Aldean extends Highway Desperado Tour, set to perform at Ford Idaho Center in 2024

NAMPA, Idaho (CBS2) — Award-winning entertainer Jason Aldean announced he will hit the road again in 2024, extending his Highway Desperado Tour starting July 11. The tour will stop in the Boise area at Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater on Sept. 6, 2024.

The tour features special guests Hailey Whitters and Lauren Alaina in select cities and Chase Matthew, Austin Snell and Dee Jay Silver across all dates. Aldean will also headline several festivals and co-headline the 2024 Rock the Country Festival tour in addition to the newly added 2024 Highway Desperado Tour dates.

Tickets will be available starting Friday, Dec. 1, at 10 a.m. local time at JasonAldean.com, with select markets on sale later.

Jason Aldean Reveals 2024 'Highway Desperado Tour' With Star-Studded Lineup

Jason Aldean is slated to stop in dozens of cities spanning the nation on his headlining “ Highway Desperado Tour ” in 2024, following more than 40 sold-out shows this year. Aldean revealed the list of tour dates on Monday morning (November 27).

The “Highway Desperado Tour,” named after the country hitmaker’s 11th full-length studio album that made its debut earlier this month , is set to kick off in May at WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, Oklahoma. Aldean is set to stop in New York, Virginia, North Carolina, Utah, Nevada and other destinations before coming to a close in Aldean’s hometown, at Macon Amphitheater in Macon, Georgia. Special guests Hailey Whitters and Lauren Alaina will join the “Highway Desperado Tour” on select dates, as well as Chase Matthew , Austin Snell , and Dee Jay Silver across all dates, per a press release issued Monday morning. Tickets will be available to the general public on Friday (December 1) at 10 a.m. local venue time.

Aldean released his long-awaited 11th studio album, Highway Desperado , on November 3. The 14-track project serves as a tribute to Aldean’s life on tour, after he “built my career on the road and it’s my favorite part of what we do.” Highway Desperado includes “Tough Crowd,” “Let Your Boys Be Country,” the title track and other fan-favorites. Aldean celebrated the album release with an iHeartCountry Album Release Party , hosted by iHeartRadio’s  Wayne D . Jason Aldean announced that after 40+ sold out headlining shows in 2023, he’ll be hitting the road again in 2024, extending his Highway Desperado Tour starting May 18th at WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, OK. The tour features special guests Hailey Whitters and Lauren Alaina in select cities as well as Chase Matthew, Austin Snell, and Dee Jay Silver across all dates.

Aldean will also headline several festivals and co-headline the 2024 Rock the Country festival tour in addition to the newly added 2024 Highway Desperado Tour dates. 

Aldean Army members get first access to tickets starting Tuesday, November 28th at 10:00 AM local venue time through Thursday, November 30th at 10:00 PM local venue time.

The public onsale begins Friday, December 1st at 10:00 AM local venue time.

FACT CHECK: No, Jason Aldean Did Not Turn Down $500 Million Collab With Taylor Swift

Verdict: False

The claim was originally posted by a site that self-identifies as satirical. It is a subsidiary of SpaceXMania, which Check Your Fact has debunked several times previously.

Fact Check: 

Swift’s most recent album “The Tortured Poets Department” has broken Spotify records, becoming the first album in the streaming service’s history to surpass 300 million streams in a single day, according to NPR . She also became the most streamed artist in a single day on Spotify, the outlet reported.

A Facebook post claims Aldean turned down a collaboration with Swift. The post shared an image of each of the musicians with text beneath.

The text reads, “Jason Aldean Rejects $500 Million Music Collaboration With Taylor Swift, ‘Her Music Is Bubblegum Crap.'”

The claim is false, however. There are no credible news reports to corroborate the claim. (RELATED: Did Kid Rock And Jason Aldean Drop New York From Their Tour?)

The claim was originally posted to a site called Esspots . It is labeled as satire. The headline reads, “Jason Aldean Rejects $500 Million Music Collaboration With Taylor Swift, ‘Her Music Is Woke, No Thanks.'”

The site’s “ About Us ” page indicates that it is “a Subsidiary of SpaceXMania.com specializing in Satire and Parody News.” Check Your Fact has debunked SpaceXMania several times previously . 

This is not the first time misinformation involving Swift has gone viral. Check Your Fact previously debunked a claim that she and actor Tom Hanks boycotted the 2024 Oscars.
