The Gustave Eiffel Lounge

The Gustave Eiffel Lounge is the only venue of its kind in Paris. This 200-seat modular concert hall, function room, and theatre is located inside of the city’s most iconic monument: the Eiffel Tower. The Lounge was completely renovated in 2013 as part of a bid to revamp the tower's expansive first floor. Situated nearly 60 meters above ground level, the state-of-the-art venue is designed to incorporate the distinctive historical architecture of the Eiffel Tower, while giving it a stylish contemporary update. A criss-cross of oblique lines on glass revives the iron latticework that was Gustave Eiffel’s signature touch when he designed his tower back in 1884. Even the seats themselves pay tribute to this heritage, a nod to the architectural structure for which Paris has come to be known.

Sandwiched in-between the room glass and steelwork is, of course, the most famous panorama in Paris. To one side of the Gustave Eiffel Lounge, guests enjoy a close-up view of the architecture of the tower; on the other, a spectacular perspective of the illustrious skyline of Paris. Since its opening, the lounge has housed a programme of exclusive events and soirées.

Gustave Eiffel's Room

Located on the second floor of the Tower, the Salon Gustave Eiffel is the most beautiful reception room in Paris, and even in France. With its exceptional 360-degree view of the City of Light, this space is used for cocktails, concerts, conferences and unique events.

For example, in 2017, the Salon Gustave Eiffel hosted the famous France Football Ballon d’Or ceremony, an edition won by the Portuguese player Cristiano Ronaldo. More unusual but still in the same theme, the company HomeAway-Abritel transformed the reception room into a hotel room to allow four people to spend a night there as part of its partnership with the Euro 2016 soccer tournament. The lucky four, who won their spot by entering a contest, also enjoyed breakfast and dinner on site. In terms of comfort, the suite consisted of a master bedroom and a small garden that could be converted into a sleeping area.

Renovated in 2013, this lounge posted at 58 meters above sea level has a large glass roof offering a breathtaking view of Paris, an impressive ceiling height (6.20 m) and a neat and contemporary decor. Depending on the desired configuration, the lounge can accommodate up to 300 people for a cocktail party, 200 people for a conference and approximately 130 guests for a meal.

Many companies privatize the Gustave Eiffel lounge before going on to lunch or dinner at the 58 Tour Eiffel restaurant, a magnificent brasserie located on the second floor of the monument.

This exceptional place, located in the heart of the Eiffel Tower, allows you to observe the nearest monuments from its large windows. It is thus possible to see the Louvre, the Sacré-Coeur, the Invalides or the Grand Palais. At nightfall, this room of over 300 square meters offers a privileged view of the Tower’s illuminations.

In addition, the Salon Gustave Eiffel has ultra-modern equipment (sound system, lighting…) and a modular stage, allowing its tenants to organize a wide variety of events.

At the tail end of a whirlwind trip to Europe , I spent a night at Le Metropolitan, Paris Tour Eiffel, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel.  My last visit to Paris was in 2005, so I was delighted to be back in the City of Light on an extended layover.

Le Metropolitan, Paris Tour Eiffel – Booking

I was fortunate to find an advantageous travel agent rate, but also considered other booking options in the lead-up to my stay.

Regular cash rates for Le Metropolitan, Paris Tour Eiffel tend to fall between €350–400 ($480–552 CAD)  in the low season, and between €450–550 ($621–759)  during busier times.By looking far in advance, you should be able to book a night at the lower end of the range, even during the summer months.

Using Marriott Bonvoy points, the pricing falls consistently between 50,000–70,000 points per night,  with some variation at the higher range during peak periods.

For most nights, you won’t be able to use a topped-up 35,000-point Free Night Award  from a Marriott Bonvoy American Express Card or Marriott Bonvoy Business American Express Card ; however, if you have a higher-value Free Night Award from a US-issued credit card , you could consider using it at Le Metropolitan, Paris Tour Eiffel.

Based on our current valuation of 0.9 cents per point , you’d likely wind up with mediocre value on a Bonvoy points redemption.

If you plan on booking a cash rate, note that this property participates in Marriott Luminous , which offers additional benefits, such as free breakfast and room upgrades (subject to availability), at no extra cost.

Le Metropolitan, Paris Tour Eiffel – Location

In terms of location, it doesn’t get much better than this in Paris. As the name would suggest, Le Metropolitan, Paris Tour Eiffel is just blocks away from the Eiffel Tower, located in the 16th arrondissement.

exc-5cabac98104c7b50fe7871d1

Just a short walk away from Le Metropolitan, you’ll find yourself crossing the River Seine to arrive at the base of the city’s most iconic landmark. Along the way, you’ll pass by the Trocadero Gardens, home to Palais de Chaillot, the Musée national de la Marine de Paris, and two other museums.

A 25-minute walk will bring you to L’Arc de Triomphe de l’Etoile, which can also be reached by metro.

Head a few minutes to the wast, and you’ll arrive at the vast Bois de Boulogne, where you can get some peace and quiet away from the city’s bustling streets.

Should shopping be in your plans, Le Metropolitan, Paris Tour Eiffel is just steps away from Champs-Elysées and Avenue Montaigne.

The closest metro station is Trocadero, just five minutes by foot, which connects you to the rest of the city.

Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport can be accessed by metro in around 90 minutes, or in around half an hour by car, depending on traffic. Paris Orly Airport takes less than an hour by transit, or around 30 minutes by car.

Le Metropolitan, Paris Tour Eiffel – Check-in

I arrived at the hotel in the mid-afternoon after a pair of flights to Charles de Gaulle with Austrian Airways from Budapest . Accessing the hotel by transit was easy, and involved just a single connection.

As I wheeled my suitcase along Avenue d’Eylau up from the metro station, the wedge-shaped building came into sight, and I immediately knew that I was back in the heart of Paris.

After heaving on the brass handle to open the oversized glass door, I arrived in a small, luxurious lobby that exuded elegance and charm. A couch and plush armchairs, as well as a number of statues, are featured in the first rooms, while a longer table with wide pairs of chairs and circular black tables lead up to a grand fireplace in the back.

There was no line-up when I arrived, and I was promptly welcomed by the hotel’s staff. The check-in process was smooth, efficient, and brief, which is my preference.

After going over the hotel’s amenities and acknowledging my Platinum Elite status , the check-in staff member mentioned that my room was one of the few in the hotel with an outdoor balcony and an Eiffel Tower view. Having booked a base-level room, and being disappointed that my feeble attempts at “ suite-talking ” went unnoticed, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that I’d at least managed some sort of upgrade.

While I would have much preferred one of the top-level suites, for a short stay in the city, I was happy that I’d at least enjoy a balcony with a view.

I bypassed the elevator in favour of a spiral staircase, and headed up to Room 215 on the second floor of the hotel.

Le Metropolitan, Paris Tour Eiffel – Deluxe King Room

As I opened the door, I was once again reminded that I was in the heart of Paris. Indeed, at only 24 square meters, space is at a premium in this part of the city.

With the exception of the bathroom, the entirety of the room is visible upon opening the door. The king bed takes up most of the room, save for a bit of space to navigate to the wardrobe, desk, and side tables.

At the foot of the bed is a desk and a flat-screen TV. There is a small bench at the desk, which I didn’t find to be very comfortable to sit on for any extended period of time.

When I arrived, there was a typed welcome note from the hotel, as well as four delicious macarons. On the other side of the desk was the coffee maker.

Next to the desk is a tall wooden door, which opens up to the bathroom. Inside, I found an elegant space, adorned with Capri marble and Zimbabwean granite.

Next to the sink and in the bathtub were Sothys amenities. At first glance, I thought that the bathtub was without a shower; however, on closer inspection during a bath, I found that the jet black shower head was camouflaged in the ceiling.

From the bathroom, and also from the bedroom, the flowing white curtains can be drawn to the side to reveal a door handle. Opening this leads to the room’s two balconies, which required a step over the windowsill to access.

Heading outside, I was greeted by classic Parisian balconies above the street, as well as a direct view of the Eiffel Tower.

Despite being quite a small room, the dual balconies with great views were a redeeming feature. After returning from an evening walk, during which I was oddly accused of stealing, I ventured back out onto the balcony to enjoy a beer while watching the dazzling light show happening just down the street.

Le Metropolitan, Paris Tour Eiffel – Breakfast

After a morning run around Champ de Mars, I arrived back at the hotel to check out the breakfast offering. Breakfast is served at La Galerie, which is located just past the elevator on the main floor.

There is additional seating around to the back of the area, which makes for a nice space to enjoy a quiet drink.

My original intention was to scarf something down at the hotel and then head out to a pâtisserie before making my way to the airport. I was delighted to find that everything that I wanted to enjoy during a morning in Paris was served at the hotel.

Breakfast was included as part of my Platinum benefits, and featured a set menu. It came with a trio of baked goods, including pain au chocolats, croissants, and fresh bread, juice, yogurt, a cappuccino adorned with the hotel’s logo, and various spreads.

The butter served with breakfast, as a friend later pointed out, is Beurre d’Isigny. I was interested to learn that it has a Protected Denomination of Origin designation, and is made exclusively from milks of Isigny origin.

Even in the absence of hot breakfast buffet, I was pleased with the offering at Le Metropolitan, Paris Tour Eiffel. Should you left wanting for a more substantial breakfast, there are plenty of cafés in the area for a quick top-up.

Le Metropolitan, Paris Tour Eiffel – Other Facilities

Without an abundance of space available at the hotel, there aren’t too many other facilities for guests.

In the basement of the hotel, there’s a small pool, which reminded me of the pool at Montcalm East London  in some regards. Next to the pool are a few comfortable lounge chairs, as well as a massage table at the end.

At the other end of the pool, you’ll find a spacious Turkish hammam, which was perfect for warming up after a rainy day or as a great way to start the day.

Since my visit, it appears that the hotel’s restaurant has been rebranded as Hokusai, which offers Japanese fusion cuisine.

For a quick stay in the heart of Paris, I enjoyed my stay at Le Metropolitan, Paris Tour Eiffel. One of the main criticisms of other reviews is that the rooms are quite small, but I didn’t find that the room size hindered my experience as a solo traveller.

If anything, being in a small room comes with the territory when staying in the centre of Paris. The room’s bathroom was also compact, but well appointed, and the views from the balcony were second to none.

When I next return to Paris, I’ll likely check out a different hotel, but I’d definitely consider coming back to Le Metropolitan, Paris Tour Eiffel, due to its great location.

As an update to my previous post, we are currently at the hotel. This is the first time we have stayed in winter and I would not recommend staying here at that time of year. The hotel is very modern on the inside, but these old Parisian buildings have little insulation plus the energy crisis has forced them (and possibly other hotels) to set their heating system to a maximum of 19 degrees. We were upgraded to one of their top suites, but with 6 large windows in a drafty building with restricted heat, it has not been a pleasant two days.

This is our “go-to” hotel in Paris, having first visited almost 20 years ago. We were there in September and are booked for two nights in December at the end of a two week trip to Switzerland and France. Staff was friendly and dedicated to helping make our stay enjoyable. The manager even sat down with me for a brief chat in the lounge. Like T.J., our advance request to leverage my Platinum status and Suite Night awards was denied, but when we arrived, we got the upgrade into one of the few rooms that has the dramatic view of the Eiffel Tower shown in this blog post. On checkout I mentioned that we would be back in December and the receptionist went into the computer and reserved one of the highly sought after rooms with a tower view. Looking forward to our return in three weeks.

Excellent stay with fantastic concierge

We just returned from a great six-night stay at this hotel. Our room was in the building behind the lobby which made it really quiet--no street noise. The room was updated and clean. The neighborhood is not the most central for Paris, but it is super nice and safe--lots of restaurants and cafes within 10 minutes walking distance. The highlight of our stay was working with the hotel's concierge--Gael and his team, including Lea and Lisa, were some of the best I've ever worked with. We communicated extensively before our arrival (always receiving prompt and thorough responses from Gael and team), and upon our arrival, all of our reservations and tickets that the concierge had coordinated were well-organized and waiting for us. The concierge team at this hotel is truly a gem, such a pleasure to work with, and for that reason alone, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. More

Very warm welcome, the hotel reached out ahead of our arrival to confirm arrival information. We had 3 rooms booked, a garden view room and two standard rooms. They upgraded the two standard rooms to garden view, which are slightly bigger, without asking. Plus, I asked if 1 of the rooms could be ready before standard check-in and they were able to make it happen. Upon entering the rooms there was a welcome gift of desserts, a bottle of red wine, along with a nice note. The rooms are small but very comfortable beds. Good night sleep, no street noise. The bathroom was of good size, the only downside was there was no outlet in the bathroom for the hairdryer, had to dry my hair in the room. The outlet in the bathroom is low voltage for a razor only. We had the breakfast buffet each morning and it was decent. Scrambled Eggs or made to order, bacon, toast, yogurt, cereal, cheese, etc. The location was on a quiet residential street between 2 metro stations (Victor Hugo and Trocadro), a 5 min walk in either direction. Plenty of restaurants around both metro stations. As you walk towards the Trocadro you can see the Eiffel Tower. Great staff, everyone was pleasant and had a smile. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend

Rest assured that your feedback will be taken into account to improve our services. Thank you for choosing our hotel, we hope to have you back very soon! - The Renaissance Paris Nobel Tour Eiffel Hotel team

So many to thank in this hotel. The moment we arrived at 9 am. I knew our room wouldn’t be ready just yet. The Fabulous ladies of the front desk, Ashma, Fiona, Osna, were all very pleasant. They offered us breakfast as we wait for the first available room to be ready. We got a room shortly after breakfast. The staff at the breakfast area were also very accommodating with our request for espresso, latte, and other custom drinks. We asked to be moved to a different room because I didn’t want to spend the next 4 nights in an accessible room. They were happy to oblige. Navigator Gael and Lea were also fabulous in assisting in booking last-minute dinner cruises, French cooking classes, and incredible restaurants. Overall, this hotel and its staff were excellent at their roles. We smiled and laugh each time we see each other in the lobby. Thank you for making this stay a memorable one.

Dear Iamwashington8, Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to leave us this comment, we are pleased to hear you have been satisfied with your stay at our hotel and that you enjoyed your Parisian experience. What a wonderful stay! From the check-in, with Osna that have made me feel like I was at home to Fiona who help me with all my question, all the staff is more than amazing! The room is very well laid out with plenty of storage space and is very clean. Finally, the location of the hotel is really an asset as we are close to all the tourist areas such as the Champs-Élysées, the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the quays of the Seine... In short, an unforgettable stay that I highly recommend.

Dear Celia, Thank you for taking the time to write us this comment. We are glad you have enjoyed your stay with us, and we're looking forward to having you back here in Paris very soon ! - The Renaissance Paris Nobel Tour Eiffel Hotel Team

I went to the hotel with a friend to enjoy the neighborhood. First thing first, we got welcomed by the navigator before bringing us to the front desk. There we got check in by the staff that evening, both receptionist were very sweet and friendly and helped me set up my Marriott account. I was given a very nice and specious room with a view on the Eiffel Tower on one of the high floor. The bed was huge and comfy. We had a very nice cocktail in the little bar in the lobby before ordering food straight to the room. Breakfast was also very nice, lots and lots of cold and warm options and a great selection of juices options. Once again for the checkout the staff was very friendly and helpful ! I will definitely come back there.

Dear Edouard, We would like to thank you for taking the time to share this feedback with us, and we are glad you were satisfied with your stay at our hotel. We can't wait to have you back here soon ! - The Renaissance Paris Nobel Tour Eiffel Hotel team

We stayed here for 2 nights before and after a trip to Reims. We chose this hotel as we thought it was a new Marriott and after traveling to Paris a few times we thought we would give it a try. Apparently the hotel is not new but has a new name. It was formerly the Marriott Trocadero. The staff is friendly but the location was a bit off the beaten path for us. The rooms were fine. The last 2 nights we stayed we were given room 172 that smelled like smoke the minute we walked in so we asked to be moved. The front desk staff graciously gave us a different room that was fine. The breakfast at this hotel is great with lots of options. However, know this hotel does not have a lot of amenities. There is no business center or concierge lounge. Not usually a big deal but I had to join a meeting that was at midnight in the Paris timezone. As I didn’t want to wake my partner I went to the lobby. There was a man sleeping on one of the couches and it wasn’t conducive to a business meeting.

Dear SABB802, We would like to thank you for choosing our hotel for your stay, and for taking the time to share your experience with us. Please rest assured that your feedback has been shared with our staff to help improve our service. We hope to have you back soon in Paris with an improved experience. - The Renaissance Paris Nobel Tour Eiffel Hotel team

The Boyz club is a popular LGBTQIA nightclub in Moscow. Mostly the youth of the city visit this highly energetic joint. The place is extremely spacious. Boyz Club stays open till 10 am on weekends. The parties that are hosted at this place are wild. You can find several music events as well as drag shows at Boyz Club regularly.

It is probably the most famous and oldest LGBTQIA bar in Moscow. Propaganda opened its doors for its customers back in the year 1997. It functions as a café in the morning where you can get the best cuisines in town. But at night, the whole look of this place changes. The LGBTQIA night events are hosted mostly on Saturdays. It is a place where everyone feels accepted. The staff is extremely friendly and quick with orders.

If you want to witness cabaret shows, this place should be on your itinerary.  The energy of this club is infectious. Despite the decors being changed almost every year, the bar has held onto its authenticity. The warm and comfortable atmosphere can make anyone feel at home. The travesty shows are held on every Friday and Saturday. These shows begin at 1.30 am and go on all night long.

  • Central Station

Central Station is another decent LGBTQIA club in the city. There are about two dance floors with very different kinds of vibes. You can call your entire gang to their karaoke club and have a gala time. During the summer, you can hang around on the terrace. Drag shows are a regular event at Central Station. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is extremely efficient at this place.

Located in Pokrovsky Boulevard, Mono Bar is a famous hangout spot for people from the LGBTQIA community. The club was started in 2014 and, since then, has gained a lot of regular customers. Mostly you will be able to hear European as well as Russian music at this club. There is a balcony which is the smoking area. If you want to meet more people, it is ideal for visiting this place after midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

After-party clubs in Moscow

The Russians like to party hard, and hence, the party goes on till dawn. After the party ends around 1-3 am in certain clubs, you can head over to a couple of after-party venues to have fun. Here are some of the best ones in Moscow:

People who party at high-end clubs tend to visit Miks for the after-party. There is plenty of alcohol for you to get wasted. The DJs at this joint mostly like to play Tech and House. Do not worry about the price, as the cover charge is minimal at Miks. The place is dimly lit and is the perfect place to end the night.

Gazgolder offers a more Berlin like after-party atmosphere to its guests. The cover charge is a bit more than the other clubs, but it is worth it. The décor of this place is trendy and creative. The place is huge, and you can sit in the outdoor area during the summer months. On some days, the after-party might continue till the next afternoon. All in all, if you want to party like an animal, this is the place you should visit.

Voda is an ultra-hip joint where you can head over for the after-party. It is a small yet vibrant place where you can get good cocktails. The décor of this club is incredibly quirky. You have to ring the doorbell to get inside the club. The walls are made up of exposed concrete. The main venue downstairs is properly lit. Lime-stone staircase, wooden beams, and bar stools give the place a vintage vibe. The DJs mostly play Electronic music at this pub. One of the most exciting features of this club is that there are no menus. It would be best to inform the bartender what you want to drink, and he will serve it to you. Do not worry, as all the mixologists can converse in English.

This after-party venue makes you feel like you have been transported to Berlin. The interiors of this place have an industrial feel to them. During the day, this acts as a bike repair shop. But at night, you can party at Entuziast till late at night. Mostly the hipsters tend to party at this place. The bar is made up of metal, and you can see racing flags all over the place. You can get a wide array of choices when it comes to beers and cider. Craft beer is extremely popular at this joint.  During the summers, you can sit outside on the beach chairs arranged on the deck. The snacks are light and ideal for eating with a pint of beer.

There are so many different things to do in Moscow during the night. Whether you want to grab a couple of drinks or dance into the night with your friends – you will find a spot for yourself in this city. It is advisable to try out almost all the places mentioned above when you are visiting Moscow. The Russian party life is different from any other culture. They believe in working hard and partying even harder. They mostly like to party when they are done with their work for the week. If you want to experience that culture, you must prepare yourself to party till the sun comes up. It will be one of the most memorable experiences of your life.

Rosbank Headquarters – Moscow

  • UNK corporate interiors
  • Client Rosbank ,
  • size 161,459 sqft
  • Location Moscow , Russia ,
  • Industry Financial / Investments ,

UNK corporate interiors completed the offices for Rosbank , an international bank within the Societe Generale financial group, located in Moscow, Russia.

Its new Moscow’s office occupies an area of 15 thousand sq. m. in OKO tower in the heart of Moscow. The main challenge for the architects was to create a functional yet aesthetically consistent, atmospheric workspace full of a spirit of freedom and creativity. At the same time, the interiors had to correspond to the international guidelines of the brand. The Rosbank office is a real agile space in which everything, including lighting, is designed to give employees a choice of a suitable workplace and free movement. Absolutely all areas are suitable for performing work tasks including a restaurant or a library. The semantic center of the office is a multi-colored atrium, which unites different functional areas created to solve various communication tasks. The large amphitheater is designed for big events like presentations or training, which workers can join even from the balconies of other floors of the building. Near the amphitheater there are textured domed meeting rooms designed for small meetings; their shapes are associated with giant metal balloons or with cosmic objects from distant space. Despite the fact that the meeting rooms are partially open, the thoughtful location relative to the amphitheater allows meetings to be held in a relaxed manner, regardless of the events taking place in the atrium. Each of the working open-spaces in the office is visually combined with the atrium – this solution allowed the architects to create a single atmospheric space out of various functional premises, both working and informal, that stimulates a creative approach to solving even the most trivial tasks. The organization of the workspace is fully consistent with the task of a “flexible office”: no place is assigned to a specific employee, including the half-open offices of top management. This solution allows the formation of groups of specialists working under the project, to gather in the “circle of one or another leader. The working locations are adjoined by meeting rooms, soft zones for informal communication, telephone booths, coffee points, and there are even small rooms for REM sleep. Thanks to this, it was possible to create a flexible space suitable for both individual concentration and productive communication between employees and colleagues. A personal locker for the belongings of each employee allows personalizing any temporary workplace. A cross-cutting theme running through the interior of the entire office, which also became a connecting point for the design concept of “indirect branding”, was the theme of French art, organically integrated into the workspace. Thus, the architects managed to give in the interior a hint of the work of Gustave Eiffel, without using the direct image of his famous tower. At the same time, the geometric ornament of metal structures located in different parts of the office clearly resembles the elements of the tower and the most famous Eiffel bridges. Navigation in the office is done in a special way, taking into account the general French theme. So, instead of the traditional dining room, on the 12th floor of the office you can find Le Restaurant, decorated with another mural in the spirit of Marc Chagall. A small cafe – “Le Cafeteria”, in it one of the walls is a living rose bush, contrasting with panoramic windows and a view on Moscow City.

The Comprehensive Guide to Moscow Nightlife

lounge tour eiffel

Moscow’s nightlife scene is thriving, and arguably one of the best the world has to offer – top-notch Russian women, coupled with a never-ending list of venues, Moscow has a little bit of something for everyone’s taste. Moscow nightlife is not for the faint of heart – and if you’re coming, you better be ready to go Friday and Saturday night into the early morning.

This comprehensive guide to Moscow nightlife will run you through the nuts and bolts of all you need to know about Moscow’s nightclubs and give you a solid blueprint to operate with during your time in Moscow.

What you need to know before hitting Moscow nightclubs

Prices in moscow nightlife.

Before you head out and start gaming all the sexy Moscow girls , we have to talk money first. Bring plenty because in Moscow you can never bring a big enough bankroll. Remember, you’re the man so making a fuzz of not paying a drink here or there will not go down well.

Luckily most Moscow clubs don’t do cover fees. Some electro clubs will charge 15-20$, depending on their lineup. There’s the odd club with a minimum spend of 20-30$, which you’ll drop on drinks easily. By and large, you can scope out the venues for free, which is a big plus.

Bottle service is a great deal in Moscow. At top-tier clubs, it starts at 1,000$. That’ll go a long way with premium vodka at 250$, especially if you have three or four guys chipping in. Not to mention that it’s a massive status boost for getting girls, especially at high-end clubs.

Without bottle service, you should estimate a budget of 100-150$ per night. That is if you drink a lot and hit the top clubs with the hottest girls. Scale down for less alcohol and more basic places.

Dress code & Face control

Door policy in Moscow is called “face control” and it’s always the guy behind the two gorillas that gives the green light if you’re in or out.

In Moscow nightlife there’s only one rule when it comes to dress codes:

You can never be underdressed.

People dress A LOT sharper than, say, in the US and that goes for both sexes. For high-end clubs, you definitely want to roll with a sharp blazer and a pocket square, not to mention dress shoes in tip-top condition. Those are the minimum requirements to level the playing field vis a vis with other sharply dressed guys that have a lot more money than you do. Unless you plan to hit explicit electro or underground clubs, which have their own dress code, you are always on the money with that style.

Getting in a Moscow club isn’t as hard as it seems: dress sharp, speak English at the door and look like you’re in the mood to spend all that money that you supposedly have (even if you don’t). That will open almost any door in Moscow’s nightlife for you.

Types of Moscow Nightclubs

In Moscow there are four types of clubs with the accompanying female clientele:

High-end clubs:

These are often crossovers between restaurants and clubs with lots of tables and very little space to dance. Heavy accent on bottle service most of the time but you can work the room from the bar as well. The hottest and most expensive girls in Moscow go there. Bring deep pockets and lots of self-confidence and you have a shot at swooping them.

Regular Mid-level clubs:

They probably resemble more what you’re used to in a nightclub: big dancefloors, stages and more space to roam around. Bottle service will make you stand out more but you can also do well without. You can find all types of girls but most will be in the 6-8 range. Your targets should always be the girls drinking and ideally in pairs. It’s impossible not to swoop if your game is at least half-decent.

Basic clubs/dive bars:

Usually spots with very cheap booze and lax face control. If you’re dressed too sharp and speak no Russian, you might attract the wrong type of attention so be vigilant. If you know the local scene you can swoop 6s and 7s almost at will. Usually students and girls from the suburbs.

Electro/underground clubs:

Home of the hipsters and creatives. Parties there don’t mean meeting girls and getting drunk but doing pills and spacing out to the music. Lots of attractive hipster girls if that is your niche. That is its own scene with a different dress code as well.

What time to go out in Moscow

Moscow nightlife starts late. Don’t show up at bars and preparty spots before 11pm because you’ll feel fairly alone. Peak time is between 1am and 3am. That is also the time of Moscow nightlife’s biggest nuisance: concerts by artists you won’t know and who only distract your girls from drinking and being gamed. From 4am to 6am the regular clubs are emptying out but plenty of people, women included, still hit up one of the many afterparty clubs. Those last till well past 10am.

As far as days go: Fridays and Saturdays are peak days. Thursday is an OK day, all other days are fairly weak and you have to know the right venues.

The Ultimate Moscow Nightclub List

Short disclaimer: I didn’t add basic and electro clubs since you’re coming for the girls, not for the music. This list will give you more options than you’ll be able to handle on a weekend.

Preparty – start here at 11PM

Classic restaurant club with lots of tables and a smallish bar and dancefloor. Come here between 11pm and 12am when the concert is over and they start with the actual party. Even early in the night tons of sexy women here, who lean slightly older (25 and up).

The second floor of the Ugolek restaurant is an extra bar with dim lights and house music tunes. Very small and cozy with a slight hipster vibe but generally draws plenty of attractive women too. A bit slower vibe than Valenok.

Very cool, spread-out venue that has a modern library theme. Not always full with people but when it is, it’s brimming with top-tier women. Slow vibe here and better for grabbing contacts and moving on.

High-end: err on the side of being too early rather than too late because of face control.

Secret Room

Probably the top venue at the moment in Moscow . Very small but wildly popular club, which is crammed with tables but always packed. They do parties on Thursdays and Sundays as well. This club has a hip-hop/high-end theme, meaning most girls are gold diggers, IG models, and tattooed hip hop chicks. Very unfavorable logistics because there is almost no room no move inside the club but the party vibe makes it worth it. Strict face control.

Close to Secret Room and with a much more favorable and spacious three-part layout. This place attracts very hot women but also lots of ball busters and fakes that will leave you blue-balled. Come early because after 4am it starts getting empty fast. Electronic music.

A slightly kitsch restaurant club that plays Russian pop and is full of gold diggers, semi-pros, and men from the Caucasus republics. Thursday is the strongest night but that dynamic might be changing since Secret Room opened its doors. You can swoop here but it will be a struggle.

Mid-level: your sweet spot in terms of ease and attractiveness of girls for an average budget.

Started going downwards in 2018 due to lax face control and this might get even worse with the World Cup. In terms of layout one of the best Moscow nightclubs because it’s very big and bottle service gives you a good edge here. Still attracts lots of cute girls with loose morals but plenty of provincial girls (and guys) as well. Swooping is fairly easy here.

I haven’t been at this place in over a year, ever since it started becoming ground zero for drunken teenagers. Similar clientele to Icon but less chic, younger and drunker. Decent mainstream music that attracts plenty of tourists. Girls are easy here as well.

Sort of a Coyote Ugly (the real one in Moscow sucks) with party music and lots of drunken people licking each others’ faces. Very entertaining with the right amount of alcohol and very easy to pull in there. Don’t think about staying sober in here, you’ll hate it.

Artel Bessonitsa/Shakti Terrace

Electronic music club that is sort of a high-end place with an underground clientele and located between the teenager clubs Icon and Gipsy. Very good music but a bit all over the place with their vibe and their branding. You can swoop almost any type of girl here from high-heeled beauty to coked-up hipsters, provided they’re not too sober.

Afterparty: if by 5AM  you haven’t pulled, it’s time to move here.

Best afterparty spot in terms of trying to get girls. Pretty much no one is sober in there and savage gorilla game goes a long way. Lots of very hot and slutty-looking girls but it can be hard to tell apart who is looking for dick and who is just on drugs but not interested. If by 9-10am you haven’t pulled, it is probably better to surrender.

The hipster alternative for afterparties, where even more drugs are in play. Plenty of attractive girls there but you have to know how to work this type of club. A nicer atmosphere and better music but if you’re desperate to pull, you’ll probably go to Miks.

Weekday jokers: if you’re on the hunt for some sexy Russian girls during the week, here are two tips to make your life easier.

Chesterfield

Ladies night on Wednesdays means this place gets pretty packed with smashed teenagers and 6s and 7s. Don’t pull out the three-piece suit in here because it’s a “simpler” crowd. Definitely your best shot on Wednesdays.

If you haven’t pulled at Chesterfield, you can throw a Hail Mary and hit up Garage’s Black Music Wednesdays. Fills up really late but there are some cute Black Music groupies in here. Very small club. Thursday through Saturday they do afterparties and you have an excellent shot and swooping girls that are probably high.

Shishas Sferum

This is pretty much your only shot on Mondays and Tuesdays because they offer free or almost free drinks for women. A fairly low-class club where you should watch your drinks. As always the case in Moscow, there will be cute girls here on any day of the week but it’s nowhere near as good as on the weekend.

In a nutshell, that is all you need to know about where to meet Moscow girls in nightlife. There are tons of options, and it all depends on what best fits your style, based on the type of girls that you’re looking for.
