MBCC Journey

MBCC Journey is the Mother’s Day Out and Preschool ministry of Mountain Brook Community Church.  We are a mother’s day out program available to children ages 3 months to 5 years old.  Our regular hours are 9:30 am – 1:30 pm.  We also offer extended hours in the morning from 8:00-9:30 am and in the afternoon from 1:30-3:00 pm.

We are excited to have the privilege to love, nurture, and grow with your child!  We plan to take advantage of our time with your children and help guide them through all areas of development: physical, social, emotional, language, cognitive, and most importantly spiritual.

Our goals are to create an inviting environment that will encourage children to learn, to provide specific activities that will enhance listening, motor & social skills, to do our best to develop a positive self-image in each child, and to teach God’s promise of unfailing love & faithfulness as children learn, grow and interact.

Mother’s day out can be a win-win for both child and mother. The children get an opportunity to learn and socialize with others of the same age and Mommy gets some much needed time.

The programs are called Mothers Day Out for a reason. Moms need a break and this time can be used to catch up on to-dos or some good old “me-time.”

Sika has completed the acquisition of MBCC Group after having received all necessary regulatory approvals. With this highly complementary transaction, Sika strengthens its footprint across all regions, reinforces its range of products and services across the entire construction life cycle and drives the sustainable transformation of the construction industry further and faster.

MBCC Group, headquartered in Mannheim, Germany, and formerly owned by an affiliate of Lone Star Funds, is active in the field of construction systems and admixture systems. To close the transaction and to comply with regulatory requirements, Sika sold MBCC Group’s chemical admixtures assets in the UK, the USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand to the international private equity firm Cinven. The business now acquired by Sika generated sales of CHF 2.1 billion in 2022, employs 6,200 people and operates in over 60 countries and 95 production facilities.
