The legendary ex- Scorpions and ex-UFO guitarist Michael Schenker announced 2022 North American tour dates that will happen from September to November. Eric Martin , Images Of Eden, Damon Johnson & The Get Ready, W.A.S.P and Armored Saint will be the opening act on several dates.

Schenker’s current touring bandmates are Ronnie Romero (Vocals – Was Rainbow’s vocalist on their last tour), Bodo Schopf (Drums), Steve Mann (Keyboards and guitar) and Barend Courbois (Bass).

The new Michael Schenker Group album “Universal” will be released on May 27th via Atomic Fire Records.

Michael Schenker Group Announce U.S. Leg of 50th Anniversary Tour

The Michael Schenker Group have given us a half century of heavy music and this fall fans across the U.S. will get a chance to dig into his catalog when Schenker takes his self-titled band on tour.

The trek gets underway Sept. 27 at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, California and will keep the group out on the road through Nov. 6 at the Tulsa Theater in Tulsa, Oklahoma. For a majority of the run, Eric Martin and Images of Eden will provide support. Damon Johnson and the Get Ready will replace Martin for two dates in late October, and then W.A.S.P. and Armored Saint will join MSG for a handful of November shows. See the full itinerary below.

For Schenker, not only is it his 50th anniversary, but MSG will also be putting out a new album, Universal , scheduled for a May 27 street date through Atomic Fire Records.

As for the tour, you can look for Schenker's current lineup of MSG to include vocalist Ronnie Romero, drummer Bodo Schopf, keyboardist and guitarist Steve Mann and bassist Barend Courbois.

Hard rock guitar fans know that The Michael Schenker Group is the best guitar music on the music scene. Sure, the band has had problems and members have come and gone, but Michael Schenker has managed to keep the heart of the group together for a couple of decades.

I saw the band live at The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, California, in February, 2014. That's a great venue with great acoustics and this band's non-stop, irreplaceable guitar and vocal talent shined even brighter than the house lights. The Michael Schenker Group played to the sold out crowd, starting with “Attack of the Mad Axeman” and it was guitar heaven for a full two hours until their last song, "Into the Arena Armed and Ready".

Each and every minute was an epic performance all by itself. It wasn't just me who had a good time. Everywhere I looked, the fans were going crazy. The band really knew how to keep the fans going too, shouting out and pointing at us and really keeping the energy high and the crowd going. It was an awesome show!

We begin our Moscow tour beneath the city, exploring the underground palace of the Moscow Metro. From the Square of Revolution station, famous for its huge statues of soviet people (an armed soldier, a farmer with a rooster, a warrior, and more), we’ll move onto some of the most significant stations, where impressive mosaics, columns, and chandeliers will boggle your eyes! Moreover, these stations reveal a big part of soviet reality — the walls depict plenty of Propaganda , with party leaders looking down from images on the walls. Your local guide will share personal stories of his/her family from USSR times, giving you insight into Russia’s complicated past and present. Then we’re coming back up to street level, where we’ll take a break and refuel with some Russian fast food: traditional pancakes, called bliny. And then, stomachs satiated, we are ready to move forward! We’ll take the eco-friendly electric trolleybus, with a route along the Moscow Garden Ring. Used mainly by Russian babushkas(grannies) during the day, the trolleybus hits peak hours in the mornings and evenings, when many locals use it going to and from their days. Our first stop will be the Aviator’s House, one of Stalin’s Seven Sisters, followed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs — and you’ll hear the legends of what has gone on inside the walls. Throughout your Moscow tour, you’ll learn curious facts from soviet history while seeing how Russia exists now, 25 years after the USSR.

From the very first days of its existence, the Moscow Metro was the object of civil defense, used as a bomb shelter, and designed as a defense for a possible attack on the Soviet Union.

At a depth of 50 to 120 meters lies the second, the coded system of Metro-2 of Moscow subway, which is equipped with everything you need, from food storage to the nuclear button.

According to some sources, the total length of Metro-2 reaches over 150 kilometers.

Title : Active carbons as nanoporous materials for solving of environmental problems

However, up to now, the main carriers of catalytic additives have been mineral sorbents: silica gels, alumogels. This is obviously due to the fact that they consist of pure homogeneous components SiO2 and Al2O3, respectively. It is generally known that impurities, especially the ash elements, are catalytic poisons that reduce the effectiveness of the catalyst. Therefore, carbon sorbents with 5-15% by weight of ash elements in their composition are not used in the above mentioned technologies. However, in such an important field as a gas-mask technique, carbon sorbents (active carbons) are carriers of catalytic additives, providing effective protection of a person against any types of potent poisonous substances (PPS). In ESPE “JSC "Neorganika" there has been developed the technology of unique ashless spherical carbon carrier-catalysts by the method of liquid forming of furfural copolymers with subsequent gas-vapor activation, brand PAC. Active carbons PAC have 100% qualitative characteristics of the three main properties of carbon sorbents: strength - 100%, the proportion of sorbing pores in the pore space – 100%, purity - 100% (ash content is close to zero). A particularly outstanding feature of active PAC carbons is their uniquely high mechanical compressive strength of 740 ± 40 MPa, which is 3-7 times larger than that of  such materials as granite, quartzite, electric coal, and is comparable to the value for cast iron - 400-1000 MPa. This allows the PAC to operate under severe conditions in moving and fluidized beds.  Obviously, it is time to actively develop catalysts based on PAC sorbents for oil refining, petrochemicals, gas processing and various technologies of organic synthesis.

Victor M. Mukhin was born in 1946 in the town of Orsk, Russia. In 1970 he graduated the Technological Institute in Leningrad. Victor M. Mukhin was directed to work to the scientific-industrial organization "Neorganika" (Elektrostal, Moscow region) where he is working during 47 years, at present as the head of the laboratory of carbon sorbents.     Victor M. Mukhin defended a Ph. D. thesis and a doctoral thesis at the Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia (in 1979 and 1997 accordingly). Professor of Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia. Scientific interests: production, investigation and application of active carbons, technological and ecological carbon-adsorptive processes, environmental protection, production of ecologically clean food.

As wide-spanning as the range of musicians contributing to the record,  MSG ‘s 2022 success studio album “ Universal ” (released on  May 27, 2022  via  Atomic Fire ) has paved the way for the band and  Michael Schenker ‘s 50th anniversary world tour to many stages and areas around the globe: Starting with a headlining run across mainland Europe to EU/UK summer festivals, an extensive North American tour as well as Japanese shows, the quintet led by guitar maestro  Schenker  continues to amaze fans worldwide. Now the time has come for  MSG  to properly re-visit the shores of the United Kingdom and Ireland for the first time after a pandemic-related break: Taking place from  November 23  until  December 2 , the run will see the band perform a set list full of hits out of  Michael Schenker ‘s illustrous career in 8 cities. But that’s not all: Not really “ Outsider[s] ” (as the title of their new record, which was unleashed on  March 17 of this year , may let one think) but US based, Metal Hammer (DE)  awarded (“Up & Coming” in 2017) squad  NIGHT DEMON , who have consistently been discussed since the release of their self-titled 2012 debut EP and secured a prominent spot in the scene, have been confirmed as very special guests to  MSG  for all dates (incl. both festival appearances of the trek).
