Mario, Keri Hilson and Bow Wow Announce ‘Millennium Tour: Turned Up’ Dates

The star-studded lineup also includes day26, pleasure p and bobby v, to name a few..

The  Millennium Tour  continues to evolve. Mario, Keri Hilson and Bow Wow are at the top of the bill for the  Millennium Tour: Turned Up , announced today (Aug. 12). 

Powered by G-Squared Events ,  Millennium Tour: Turned Up  will also include a special reunion of R&B group Day26, plus Lloyd, Pleasure P , Bobby V, and Sammie. The latter four acts were on the previous  Millennium Tour , as well as Mario and Bow Wow.

It won’t be a full night of R&B, though. The tour will also feature performances by rap acts Ying Yang Twins, Chingy, Dem Franchize Boyz, Lil Scrappy, Travis Porter, Crime Mob and Trillville.

The 24-city tour kicks off Oct. 7 at Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia at Hampton Coliseum. From there, the crew will travel across the U.S., playing in major cities such as Baltimore, Detroit, Chicago, Dallas, Memphis and Miami.

The tour will conclude Nov. 27 at Oakland Arena in Oakland, California. 

Tickets will be available for presale beginning Thursday, Aug. 18, at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets will go on sale to the general public Friday, Aug. 19 at 10 a.m. local time. All tickets can be purchased at gsquaredevents.com .

Circling back to Day26, the group recently announced their reunion and plans to celebrate their 15th anniversary with new music.

On Aug. 26, they will perform a special virtual concert with all five original members.

While Day26 is reuniting, another is formalizing. Ray J, Sammie, Bobby V and Pleasure P recently announced their new group RSVP , following their bonus match during Mario and Omarion’s Verzuz battle.

Although Ray J isn’t included in the Millennium Tour: Turned Up , it wouldn’t be a surprise if the other three members preview new music.

Bow Wow Announces All-New ‘Millennium Tour’ Lineup Featuring Keri Hilson, Mario, Day26, & More

Mario may have referred to the Omarion -toplined edition of the ‘Millennium Tour’ as “raggedy sh*t” during their VERZUZ battle in June, but it appears the GRAMMY-nominated singer has had a change of heart as he’s listed as one of the headliners for the forthcoming iternation of the highly anticipated North American jaunt.

Once again led by Bow Wow , the trek calls on some of the early 2000’s most popular Urban movers and shakers to unite for a night of nostalgic hits.

Having previously wowed crowds across the United States with a lineup that’s featured the likes of Ashanti, Pretty Ricky, Lloyd, Bobby V, Ying Yang Twins, Chingy , and more, this time new faces like Hilson and Day26 are being brought into the mix.

Taking to Instagram Friday ( August 12 ), Bow stunned his 4.7 million followers with the announcement he’s assembling Mario, Hilson, Day26, Lloyd, Pleasure P , Chingy, Lil Scrappy, Bobby V, Dem Franchize Boyz, Crime Mob, and Travis Porter for the newest version of the tour dubbed “The Millennium Tour: Turned Up!”   This will be the first ‘Millennium Tour’ to not feature Omarion.

Kicking off October 7 at Hampton, Virginia’s Hampton Coliseum, the 24-date trek will venture to major North American cities like Detroit, Miami, Atlanta, Houston, Chicago, New York City, and more before wrapping up in Oakland on November 27 .

From the outside looking in, he seemed like a fairly decent person. Either he has a lot of haters or everyone can’t be lying about him.

Omarion and Bow Wow Announce 'Millennium Tour' Dates

The “Millennium Tour” is coming back this fall.

After being delayed due to the pandemic, Omarion and Bow Wow have announced new dates for their joint tour. This time around, they will be joined by Ashanti, plus special guests Soulja Boy, Ying Yang Twins, Lloyd, Sammie, and Pretty Ricky.

The 27-date trek kicks off Oct. 1 at L.A.’s The Forum before making its way to arenas across the country, with stops in Detroit, Atlanta, Houston, Chicago, Miami, and Memphis, wrapping Nov. 26 in Las Vegas.

Omarion and Bow Wow were originally set to tour last year before the COVID-19 pandemic canceled tour dates. The original “Millennium Tour” was headlined by B2K in 2019 and grossed over $28 million .

Before bringing their live show to a city near you, Bow Wow and his tourmate Soulja Boy will face off during their highly-anticipated Verzuz battle on Saturday, June 26.

New York City experienced a major Flashback Friday moment on Friday night (March 6). Madison Square Garden’s Hulu Theater was packed to the rim for the second edition of the highly-successful Millennium Tour, which features early-2000s R&B and hip-hop hitmakers guiding fans on a trip down memory lane.

Last year’s national tour, which garnered an impressive $25.5 million over 44 dates, was headlined by B2K and featured Mario, Ying Yang Twins, Lloyd, Pretty Ricky and Chingy. This time around, Omarion is rolling solo , and over 32 dates, he’ll share the spotlight with Bow Wow, Ashanti , Pretty Ricky , Soulja Boy , Sammie , Ying Yang Twins and Lloyd .

The massive crowd piling into MSG from all sides featured concertgoers of all ages and ethnicities, showcasing just how impactful the early-aughts musical era was for adolescents and teens, who are now somewhere in their 20s and 30s. Of course, a night out means looking the part, and if it’s 2000s-themed, people will show up and show out: women were decked in their finest Baby Phat threads and doorknocker earrings, while the men in attendance sported face bandaids a la Nelly and du-rags to keep their waves contained.

Keep calm & omarion: how the singer learned to be unbothered by drama.

Before the nearly four-hour concert began, the arena pregamed with songs from current cultural behemoths DaBaby , Megan Thee Stallion , and the late native New Yorker  Pop Smoke (“Welcome To The Party” played twice, and received the most raucous reaction of the entire event). Thanks to the Hulu Theater’s intimate setting, the audience was able to be fully immersed in the show no matter where they sat, a pleasant touch considering — even after all these years — this may have been the first time fans have seen these artists in concert.

Many of the acts performed their newer songs in addition to their throwback joints. Teen idol Sammie proved he’s all grown up now with mature performances of “I’m Him” and “Expiration Date,” in addition to his star-making hit, 2000’s “I Like It.” The now 33-year-old was discovered at the Apollo Theater in 1999, and while some vocal talents come and go, there’s no denying that he’s still got the pipes. He often melted into an impressive falsetto throughout his time on stage. The charged-up Ying Yang Twins provided a glimpse of their new material with “Stupid,” but of course, the crowd was most lit when they performed their biggest tracks “The Whisper Song,” “Badd,” and “Salt Shaker.” Their transition from “Whistle While You Twurk” into their finale, the Billboard Hot 100 smash “Get Low,” was the smoothest of the whole show. 

Soulja Boy ran through a slew of songs from his catalog that further amped up the already energetic crowd. The fur coat-wearing emcee performed F.L.Y’s “Swag Surfin’” (he was featured on the remix), which predictably sent the audience into a frenzy as they clutched onto each other to dance as a unit. “Crank Dat (Soulja Boy)” elicited cheers from the entire arena, who hopped out their seats to do the 2007 viral dance craze. With performances of “Kiss Me Thru The Phone,” “Pretty Boy Swag,” and Roscoe Dash’s “All The Way Turnt Up,” props must be given to Young Draco for providing memorable music moments throughout the 21st century.

Pretty Ricky and Lloyd had the ladies swooning from start to finish. The Miami quartet — comprised of Pleasure P, Slick Em, Spectacular and Baby Blue — put on a production complete with eye-popping choreography, superb singing and impressive rapping. They performed legacy tracks “Grind With Me” and “On The Hotline,” and showcased their X-rated new song “Body.” Each member of the group had a solo moment on stage, with Pleasure P’s inimitable vocals (which sound “just like his motherf–king records”) and Spectacular’s pec-tacular dance routine stealing the show. Lloyd, whose luscious vocals and megawatt smile had fans going apes–t even before his set began, ran through a string of memorable melodies like “Bedrock,” “Get It Shawty,” and “You.” The musician, who had his enviable curls braided up this go-around, wore an olive green OBEY jumpsuit with a print of Nipsey Hussle on the back, one of the many tributes to fallen icons throughout the evening. Ashanti, Bow Wow and Omarion paid their respect to Hussle, Kobe Bryant, Pop Smoke and more during their sets.

Although Ashanti fell victim to wardrobe and ear pack mishaps, she didn’t miss a beat, and felt the support from the largely-female crowd. The multi-hyphenate, who emerged from the ground in a throne and sported a red leather bodysuit and fur jacket, gave pleasant nods to the East and West Coasts. She interpolated Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg’s “The Next Episode” with her hit “Happy,” and dusted off “Unfoolish,” the promotional version of her chart-topping track “Foolish,” which features The Notorious B.I.G. Tunes like “What’s Luv?” “Mesmerize,” “Rock Wit U,” and an appearance by Lloyd for their collab “Southside” had the audience’s attention. As someone who noted she’s recovering from a recent foot surgery, her enthusiasm was on 100 from start to finish.

The night ended with Omarion and Bow Wow, who each performed solo, and then came together for a much-too-short on-stage reunion of the songs from their 2007 joint project, Face Off, including “Let Me Hold You .” O’s theatrical, dance-heavy renditions of “Icebox,” “Entourage,” “Post To Be,” and his latest single “Can You Hear Me” brought vivacity to the show’s conclusion. Bow Wow, who’s stamina could only be compared to the Energizer Bunny, performed hits from when he had the “Lil” attached straight through to his more adult songs. From “Bounce Wit Me” to “Shortie Like Mine” to “Ain’t Thinking About You,” the audience appeared to know every single word to the songs in this icon’s catalogue.

While news of the world outside seems to get bleaker each day, the Millennium Tour 2020 was an excellent way to escape the drama and reminisce about the good ol’ times. Even if it was just for a few hours, nothing feels better than dropping your cares and remembering how things used to be.

Bow Wow  and  Omarion ’s Millennium Tour will return in several months.

On Friday, the artists took to social media to announce dates for the 2021 United States trek. Bow Wow and Omarion will headline the event, which will include appearances by Ashanti ,  Soulja Boy , Pretty Ricky , the  Ying Yang Twins , and more.

“We got unfinished business to handle!” wrote Bow Wow, who is gearing up for his fast-approaching Verzuz battle with Soulja Boy “….  WE OWE YOU GUYS. This what you been waiting on… lets go! We back outside!!!!!”

The Millennium Tour 2020 was supposed to kick off in Louisville, Kentucky, last February, but was postponed due to concerns over the pandemic. Most of the acts who were set to appear in last year’s tour have signed on for the 2021 trek. And, no, the other members of B2K, who headlined the 2019 tour,  are not involved this time around.

The tour will begin Oct. 1 at Los Angeles’ The Forum, and will include stops in Oakland, Detroit, Atlanta, New Orleans, and Miami, before wrapping up on Nov. 26 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The Millennium Tour isn’t just a concert series. It’s a full-on traveling festival.

Over a dozen classic hip-hop acts are set to take the stage at each show on the 24-concert jaunt across North America .

A few of the hitmakers set to pop in include Bow Wow, Mario, Keri Hilson, The Ying Yang Twins and Chingy.

On the run, the rap stars will stop in at New York’s Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 9, Newark’s Prudential Center on Nov. 11 and Philadelphia’s Liacouras Center on Nov. 13.

At just 22-years-old, Billie Eilish has accomplished more than most recording artists will in their entire lives.

Over the past decade, the “Bad Guy” singer released two number one albums, hosted “Saturday Night Live” and collected nine Grammy Awards and two Academy Awards to name just a few of her many impressive achievements.

Eilish just announced she is embarking on the worldwide ‘HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR’ in support of her upcoming album with the same name, due out May 17.

After Eilish wraps the North American leg of ‘HIT ME HARD AND SOFT,’ she’s slated to perform at venues all over the world including in Australia, Sweden, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom.

Her 10-month run concludes at Dublin’s 3Arena on July 27, 2025.
