MEET THE FAMILY

Julie is no stranger to the world of music and entertainment, having grown up in Ireland in a family of entertainers and creative people. She studied Theatre and worked professionally in Ireland, before discovering that if she worked onboard a cruise ship, she could earn great money and travel at the same time.

Julie worked for a number of years with Princess Cruise Line as an Assistant Cruise Director. It was onboard a Princess Cruise Ship that she met her future partner in life and business – musician Ian La Fontaine.

Together, they decided to “retire” from ship life to settle down on land, get married and help others to create their own memorable adventures at sea.

Julie is dedicated to helping the world’s most talented musicians find the gig that suits them best. She works closely with all the major cruise lines to ensure the best deal is made for you.

Ian is a highly motivated, musically trained Bassist with 22 years performance experience with large and small ensembles. He has a proven track record for reliability and professionalism, excellent interpersonal skills and competent at all major genres of music. Additionally, Ian has worked for several years onboard numerous luxury cruise lines, namely Celebrity, Cunard, Norwegian and Princess Cruise Lines.

Ian’s extensive personal work experience as a cruise ship musician makes him the perfect Casting Director. He knows exactly what the major cruise lines are looking for in new musical talent and he’ll make sure that you are fully prepared for your audition with the cruise line so that you get the gig.
