The Teskey Brothers have added a third and final show at London’s Eventim Apollo on Wednesday 11th September 2024, as well as a stack of other UK and Europe dates. Folk Bitch Trio have been added as support for all three shows at Eventim Apollo.

One of Australia’s most successful exports in recent years, the two blues-leaning brothers, along with their well-oiled 7-piece live band, will perform songs from a much-celebrated catalogue.

It’s been a busy 12 months for The Teskey Brothers, who only last week released The Circle Session – a live 5-track EP which features the band’s stunning rendition of the Ray Charles classic, ‘Drown In My Own Tears’, alongside stripped back live recordings of four other songs from their acclaimed third studio album, The Winding Way.

Following the release of their acclaimed 3rd studio album ‘The Winding Way’ and their sold-out return to North America this past summer, The Teskey Brothers announce the second leg of The Winding Way Tour featuring special guests Allen Stone, The Dip, Joseph, Jackie Venson, The Heavy Heavy, Pearl Charles, Leah Senior and Trousdale in select cities. Produced by Live Nation and Frank Productions, the 20-city tour kicks off on April 23 at Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theatre in Miami making stops across North America in Chicago, Los Angeles, Brooklyn and more before wrapping up in Toronto at Massey Hall on June 22.

TICKETS: Tickets will be available starting with artist presales beginning Tuesday, December 5. Fans can sign up for early access to tickets at TheTeskeyBrothers.com . The Teskey Brothers announce ‘The Winding Way’ album and UK tour

The Teskey Brothers announce the release of their highly anticipated new studio album ‘The Winding Way’ – out on Friday June 16. Four years after their globe-conquering second LP ‘Run Home Slow’ the artistic vision of vocalist Josh Teskey and his brother, guitarist and engineer Sam Teskey is more defined than ever.

This week sees the release of their new single ‘Oceans of Emotions’ a stunning return that captures the heart & soul that people love about The Teskey Brothers complete with striking production.

With the closure of their beloved Half Mile Harvest Studios in Warrandyte Australia, where they recorded their first two studio albums, Sam and Josh made a conscious decision to try something different and headed to Sydney to record with acclaimed producer (and huge Teskey fan) Eric J Dubowsky ( Flume ,  Chet Faker ,  Chemical Brothers ).

“We didn’t want to go for a producer that was too close to our genre,” says Sam, who collaborated with Dubowsky on the production.“We just wanted to branch out a bit and try to explore someone who was a bit down a different avenue.”

A bigger and more adventurous sounding record than The Teskey Brothers’ first two albums ‘The Winding Way’ is bursting with life. If Half Mile Harvest was the aural equivalent of the sun coming through in the morning, and Run Home Slow was a whiskey in a great bar – then ‘The Winding Way’ is a fireplace burning, a warm escape from the cold and a full circle return to the magic of where it all started, two brothers bonding over their pure love of soul, while taking more risks than ever before.

“A lot of thought and time has gone into this record, more than in the past,” says Josh.

2023 sees The Teskey Brothers return to the UK for their upcoming UK & European tour, the first time since their sold-out show at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in January 2020. Starting in March the tour sees the brothers perform across the UK, including a sold-out show at London’s Hammersmith Eventim Apollo. Following their live tour, in July, The Teskey Brothers join Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band, supporting the legendary singer at his Meadow of the Monza Autodromo Gerascia show.

Currently conquering the UK and Europe, part of a comprehensive tour run which sees the Warrandyte band performing their biggest international venues to date, ARIA winners and GRAMMY® nominees   The Teskey Brothers   are thrilled to announce   The Winding Way Tour   – 13 huge shows across Australia and New Zealand, kicking off in   November 2023   and proudly presented by Frontier Touring and Double J (AU) and Radio Hauraki (NZ).

Today’s tour news comes in the lead up to the Teskey’s highly anticipated third studio album,   The Winding Way   – released   Friday 16 June   (pre-order   here ). Recorded at Sydney’s Hercules Street Studios with producer Eric J Dubowsky (Flume, Chemical Brothers) and collaborators such as Philadelphia-based string arranger Larry Gold (Kanye West, The Roots), the electrifying new album sees Sam and Josh Teskey soar to new sonic heights, delivering all the exhilarating spontaneity the Teskeys are famous for with monumental new production and energy.

Ever since their 2020 GRAMMY® nominations off the back of 3 x ARIA Award-winning album  Run Home Slow , The Teskey Brothers have continued to garner international acclaim for their soulful, timeless sound. March 2023 saw the band embark on their first headline world tour in over three years, performing their first ever shows in Portugal, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Currently touring EU and the UK, the band recently sold-out London’s iconic Hammersmith Eventim Apollo, and next month will perform as special guests alongside Hozier and Bruce Springsteen, while Brit fans will also catch them at Glastonbury Festival too. Come August, they’ll return to North America, performing more sold-out dates at venues such as the Ryman Auditorium, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Brooklyn Steel and more, plus a return to Austin City Limits in October – before finally embarking on the long trek back home.

From performing high-profile sets at festivals such as Bluesfest, Bonnaroo and Fuji Rock, to US TV appearances on   Jimmy Kimmel Live   and   The Late Show with Stephen Colbert … the Teskey Brothers have already cemented their status. Now, with   The Winding Way , the Teskey’s have made an album that decidedly looks to a new, brighter future while resonating with their rich past.

Joining the bill for all AU dates (ex-Sydney) is Geelong-raised   WILSN , who released her debut album,   Those Days Are Over , in February 2023. Possessing the kind of voice that stops you in your tracks, WILSN makes classic soul music with a contemporary approach and a healthy dose of raw power. Meanwhile, fans in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane are in for an added treat, the Teskeys’ joined by special guest and GRAMMY® nominee   Courtney Marie Andrews . Courtney’s acclaimed 2022 release,   Loose Future , sees the Phoenix-born songwriter also touring with Wilco throughout Europe this Sept. Finally, opening shows across Aotearoa is multi award-winning   Mel Parsons , whose newest record   Slow Burn   debuted at #3 on the NZ Top40 Charts, was a finalist for Best Folk Artist at the 2023 AMAs, with its title track also a finalist for the 2023 APRA Best Country Song.

Following a mammoth and very sold-out comeback tour of UK and Europe in 2023, The Teskey Brothers are pleased to announce they will be returning for more in 2024. In 2023 their third studio album The Winding Way exceeded the already-high expectations of their fast growing fanbase and cemented the siblings as mainstays of modern soul music. The BBC coverage of their set on the Other Stage at Glastonbury Festival in 2023 was one of the most talked about moments in a year that also saw the band delight big crowds at Montreux Jazz Festival, Rock Werchter and North Sea Jazz Festival.
