Taylor Swift at National Stadium Singapore: Timings, set list and everything you need to know

All the essential details from the setlist to prohibited items and alternative post-concert transport options

Xiao Qing Wan

After nine years since Taylor Swift arrived on our sandy shores for her 1989 world tour, she’s finally back in Singapore with The Eras Tour for six unforgettable nights. For those who managed to secure tickets to what has been dubbed ‘The Great War’ after her song of the same name, we’ve got you covered with all the essential details, from the setlist to prohibited items at the venue. All you have to do is secure your post-concert transportation , prepare your perfect Eras Tour outfit and friendship bracelets , and you’re all set!

RECOMMENDED: Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour begins in less than two weeks: here’s what you can do to hype yourself up and The best music concerts and festivals in Singapore

When is Taylor Swift performing in Singapore in 2024?

Taylor Swift will be playing six shows in Singapore: March 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, and 9.

Are there still tickets?

Unfortunately, all six shows in Singapore are sold out. However, it’s worth checking out resellers such as Viagogo , though prices can be steep.

What time will the doors open?

The doors will open at 4pm. However, we recommend arriving slightly earlier as queuing up for security checks may take some time.

What time does Taylor Swift start?

Sabrina Carpenter will be opening the show at 6pm, and Taylor Swift is expected to come on around 7.15pm.

How long will the show last?

Excluding the opening act, the show will last around three and a half hours, so you can expect it to end at around 10.45pm each night.

What is the setlist for Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour?

Besides the two mystery acoustic songs, here is the supposed setlist based off her recent performance in Sydney, Australia on February 25. Keep your eyes peeled as we will be updating the setlist after the first night:

You will not be allowed to re-enter the venue unless specified otherwise. If you arrive late, you may also be denied entry into the venue until there is a suitable break, as decided by the event organiser. No refunds or compensation will be given in such situations.

Where can I buy official merchandise?

You can purchase The Eras Tour merchandise at the OCBC Square and Stadium Riverside from March 2 to 9. Ticket holders can also purchase merchandise inside the venue, such as the South Dome Deck, and National Stadium Gates 3, 9, 15, and 21. Do note that overnight queuing is not permitted. Alternatively, you can purchase official merchandise at Marina Bay Sands’ exclusive retail pop-up .

What are the possible modes of transport after the show?

The closest MRT station is Stadium, but if you would like to skip the crowds, do consider taking a 15-minute walk to the next station (Mountbatten) or taking one of the several shuttle services available after the concert. Grab will be providing free shuttle services to Redhill, Boon Keng, Jurong East, and Toa Payoh. The shuttle buses will be picking up concertgoers on a first-come-first-served basis, and will only depart once the bus is full. To ensure you have a seat on these shuttle buses, opt to book one of Wagon ’s shuttles that will take you to other MRT stations such as Jurong East, Woodlands, Serangoon, and Tampines for $16. Alternatively, you can book a ride through HitchVibe , another shuttle service that will take you from National Stadium to Boon Lay, Choa Chu Kang, Sengkang, and Sembawang for $13. Be sure to use the promo code ‘TIMEOUT15’ to get 15 percent off your first booking on HitchVibe.

Taylor swift the eras tour in singapore: what to expect and prepare.

We’re only a few weeks away from Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour concerts in Singapore and so we decided to create a concise, detailed, and simple-to-understand guide for all Swifties who will be watching her at the National Stadium on March 2, 3, 4 and 7, 8, 9.

Keep reading to learn what to expect and what to prepare for the concert!

TAYLOR SWIFT: THE ERAS TOUR

Photo: Marcelo Endelli

1. Time, Location, and How to Get There

The Eras Tour in Singapore will be held at the National Stadium. Commuting via MRT to the venue is highly advisable as traffic might build up throughout the day. The closest station to the National Stadium is CC6 Stadium  accessible via the Circle Line (yellow). Other nearby stations are CC7 Mountbatten (yellow/Circle Line) and EW10 Kallang (green/East West Line) which will take approximately 18 minutes to walk to the National Stadium. You can check Google Maps on which station to go to that will easily take you there.

Gates and security checks will open at 4 PM . Although seats are all reserved, it’s still best to be there around that time or earlier if you want to take a lot of photos or trade friendship bracelets with others since many Swifties will be queuing.

The concert begins at exactly 6 PM with Sabrina Carpenter performing as the front act (approximately 30 minutes). Taylor Swift will then take the stage at around 6:45 PM . The concert will run for 3 and a half hours (44 songs).

2. Bag Restrictions

As of writing, there are no instructions about bags needing to be clear/see-through. Just make sure that your bag doesn’t exceed 35 x 20 x 30 cm (14 x 8 x 12 inches) , i.e. too large to be stored underneath a seat. Pack light, Swifties!

3. What to Bring

The following are a must to pack in your concert bag!

  • Empty water bottle (there are water stations around the stadium for you to refill it when inside)
  • Hat or collapsible/pocketable umbrella (to protect you from the heat of the sun!)
  • Cards and cash
  • Alcohol or hand sanitizer
  • Hand fan or portable fan (you need to stay cool!)

If you’re planning on wearing boots or heels, you may want to bring extra slippers just in case your feet will hurt by the end of the night.

Binoculars are also said to be allowed as long as the size isn’t larger than an A4 paper.

4. What NOT to Bring

The following are prohibited in the venue:

  • Outside food and drinks (there will be food booths there but it’s still best to eat a heavy meal as prices may be expensive)
  • Non-collapsible umbrellas
  • Noisemakers and musical instruments
  • Flags or banners larger than 1 x 2 meters that have not been pre-approved for the event
  • Placards with offensive words and advertisements
  • Fansigns bigger than 21 x 29.7 cm or 8.3 x 11.7 inches (A4-size)
  • Professional photo or video cameras
  • Selfie sticks, gimbals, tripods, and monopods
  • Anything resembling weapons
  • Laser pointers and drones
  • Glassware, cans,
  • Bicycles, skateboards, skates, scooters, helmets
  • Chairs and stools
  • Animals other than trained assistance dogs
  • Helium balloons and other inflatables

If you end up bringing a prohibited item, you may either be denied entry or be required to deposit them at the deposit counter for a non-refundable fee of SGD10 (~PHP 416) per item.

It’s unclear if concert attendees are allowed to bring in small film cameras and Polaroid cameras but just to stay on the safe side, leave them at home or your hotel.

Security will also not check your IDs before entering the venue so there’s no need to bring your passport. If ever, just take a photo of it and save it on your phone.

5. Ticket Printing

Printed and electronic tickets must be presented at the gates. Print-at-home tickets will be issued two weeks before the event date. Do not bring just a screenshot of your ticket.

6. Where to Enter and Seating Map

You can check which gate to enter on your ticket.

Below is the map of the gates including staircase locations and where to find the lift, as well as the seating map:

National Stadium Viewing Map Lift

7. Water Stations and Restrooms

There are enough restrooms around the Stadium (approximately 1 every 2 gates).

Water coolers are located:

  • between gates 3 and 4 (level 3)
  • between gates 15 and 16 (level 3)
  • behind sections 109, 117, 122, 128, 134, and 142 (level 3)
  • behind sections 410, 416, 435, and 441 (level 4)
  • behind sections 608 and 609 (level 6)

You can buy water at level 3 between gates 22 & 23 and 10 & 11.

8. Merch Booths

Lines at the merch booths will be long so it’s best to line up a day before or after the date you’re watching, or be there super early, so you don’t stress out about the time. Also, prepare to make contactless payments via Visa, Mastercard, Paynow, ApplePay, Samsung Pay, and GooglePay because the booths might not accept cash.

Merch booths will also have varying operating times. Again, it’s best to come in early so you can secure the merch you want. Take note that these merch booths are open to all, even those who don’t have tickets to watch the concert.

9. Other things to know

Livestreaming of the event is strictly prohibited.

There are aircons in the National Stadium. It won’t be freezing cold but it’s cool enough for you not to perspire too much.

Venue re-entry is not allowed.

There will be designated smoking areas but vaping is strictly prohibited.

Strollers are not permitted into the venue seating areas and will need to be parked, at your own risk, in designated areas.

And although it’s not required, it will be fun for you and everyone around you if you dress up for the concert! Rep your favorite Era and adorn your wrists with as many friendship bracelets as you want.

Hype yourself up by listening to a playlist of The Eras Tour setlist below:

“Miss Americana and The Heartbreak Prince” “Cruel Summer” “The Man” “You Need to Calm Down” “Lover” “The Archer”

Taylor Swift Adds Three Dates To Her The Eras Tour Stop In Singapore In March 2024

Swifties, ready your wallets, because taylor swift has just announced three nights in singapore as part of the eras tour in march 2024..

By: shatricianair Published: Jun 26, 2023 03:00 PM SGT

Taylor Swift Adds Three Dates To Her The Eras Tour Stop In Singapore In March 2024

Taylor Swift must’ve heard about the commotion that Coldplay was causing here, because not long after the band announced their sixth concert date at the National Stadium, the American singer-songwriter first announced that she too will perform in Singapore in 2024 for three nights on March 2, 3 and 4 as part of her The Eras Tour . If you didn’t manage to get your tickets then, good news because like Coldplay, she has also announced an extra three dates in Singapore, on  March 7, 8, and 9, 2024.

If this isn’t fantastic news for Swifties here, we don’t know what is. Her concert in Singapore will be only one of two stops in Asia, the other being Tokyo . It’s been a hot minute since she was last here too; her last stopover in the Lion City was in 2015, as part of her  1989 World Tour .

EXCUSE ME HI I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY 🙋‍♀️ I can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates! Other new destinations announced include Melbourne, and Sydney in Australia, as well as London, Milan, and Amsterdam in Europe.

In Asia, Taylor Swift will head to Tokyo, Japan from February 7 – 10, 2024, before stopping in Singapore, where she will no doubt perform in a very packed stadium in March, with special guest Sabrina Carpenter.

Taylor Swift singapore 2024

The multi-award-winning singer-songwriter has had an amazing tour around the US so far, performing despite heavy rain on a few occasions. The singer’s keyboard even reportedly started playing notes on its own during Red (Taylor’s Version) after being damaged in the rain on Saturday in Massachusetts. The Eras Tour was designed to be a recap of all ten of Swift’s studio albums, presenting each as well, an era with its own sets, costumes, and energy, so expect lots of new songs and old ones.

Taylor Swift The Eras Tour Singapore

Taylor Swift once sang “ haters gonna hate, hate, hate ” but from 2 to 9 March 2024, it seemed like they would also have to… hibernate . ICYMI, we are in the thick of The Swift Storm in Singapore. And there’s simply no escaping it.

In recent weeks, it’s even turned political, with the Singapore government reportedly having offered Taylor up to S$4 million per show for exclusivity rights in Southeast Asia to boost the economy, much to the chagrin of neighbouring countries. It’s as if they took a page out of Taylor’s mastermind of plotting and scheming.

Some might argue that this mammoth whirlwind started some 9 months ago – when The Eras Tour in Singapore was first announced. And yes, yours truly was part of the skiving employees nationwide on 5 July 2023 internally screaming at our computer screens, frantic at the thought of not seeing * mother * IRL. I was one of the lucky ones – my non-Swiftie friend’s husband’s Ticketmaster account pulled through for me.

So here I finally was, on a Saturday, experiencing The Eras Tour for the first time, at the first SG show. And for fellow Swifties awaiting their turn, here’s a timeline of everything to expect. It’s been a long time coming.

What happens before The Eras Tour starts

2.04PM : Unlike most other concerts, The Eras Tour is a full-day affair. I arrive at Stadium MRT just past 2PM and there is already an excitable crowd of Swifties to jostle through. No surprise there. With doors opening at 4PM and the show starting at 6PM, long queues for merch are a given and early dinner is a must.

2.21PM : After linking up with my concert buddy (fun fact: we went to the Speak Now Tour together 13 years ago too!), we make a beeline for the merch booth to take home some memorabilia. There are multiple merch booths to optimise crowds, since some are even accessible to non-ticket holders:

  • OCBC Square – General Public Sales
  • Stadium Riverside – General Public Sales
  • South Dome Deck (For Ticket Holders Only)
  • National Stadium Gates 3, 9, 15, 21 (For Ticket Holders Only)

Taylor Swift Merch Queue

Take your merch queuing as an excuse to also check out the costumes in the crowd– every Taylor concert is practically Halloween. Within 30 minutes, I spot a “1989” cheerleader, “Heartbreak Prince” and “Lover” girl – proving there are no boundaries when it comes to Swifties’ creativity.

4.07PM : Adrenaline quells my friend’s and my hunger, so we settle for light bites from the food court. Watching Taylor is a screaming, crying, throwing up event, but we don’t want any of the latter today.

4.18PM : It takes only about 10 minutes before a fellow Swiftie from the next table to say hello, pointing out that she loves my friend’s friendship bracelet and asks for a trade. We enthusiastically oblige, getting a “Karma Is My BF” for an “Illicit Affairs”. ICYMI, Swifties are renowned to be a friendly bunch.

Friendship Bracelets

Anyone with a social media account would know by now that exchanging bead bracelets has become a fan-initiated tradition at Taylor’s gigs – birthed from the lyrics “ so make the friendship bracelets ” on “You’re Own Your Own, Kid”, an album track, mind you. Even celeb guests at overseas concerts like Blake Lively and Katy Perry participated in the trend with Swifties. Honestly, her power?

6PM : We fill our designated seats early because before Miss Americana takes the stage, we’re treated to a 10-song set from ex-Disney Channel wunderkind Sabrina Carpenter first. Following her solo concert in Singapore last July, the fellow blondie has come into her own, sassily delivering hits like “Feather” and “Vicious”.

6.33PM: But it’s the outro of “Nonsense” that gets the biggest cheers, since she cheekily switches it up for every country and performance. Her innuendo-loaded one for Show #1 goes “ Gardens by the Bay I wanna go there / Then I’ll take you somewhere that has no hair / Singapore you’re so perfect it’s no fair ”, before it inevitably makes its viral rounds on Twitter the next day, and the crowd reverts to its buzzing chatter in anticipation of the main event.

6.54PM : At 3.5 hours and spanning 44 songs, Taylor’s setlist is the longest I’ve – and likely you would’ve – experienced, which means optimal bladder level is top priority. Cue final pee break.

The Eras Tour

7PM: A brief audio montage of Taylor’s catalogue of hits and a dazzling introduction of “Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince’ jolts us into shock, and it’s only when she arrives at “Cruel Summer” where we catch the fever dream high. “ You’re making me feel like I get to play to 60,000 people tonight! ” she declares triumphantly just as the sun sets behind us in Kallang, as if inviting us to cross over into the night (Taylor’s Version).

Cruel Summer

7.24PM: The Fearless era starts about as quickly as the Lover era ends, despite the former having double the amount of songs. The nostalgic holy trinity of pop-tinged country classics “Fearless”, “You Belong With Me” and “Love Story” transports fans to memories of first crushes and initiates hand-hearts firmly in the air. I’m guilty as charged.

For me, and many longtime Swifties alike, the 2008 album was the turning point that we converted to Swifticisim – the era where us and the world first properly took notice of her genius and artistry.

The Eras Tour

7.50PM: I won’t forgive anyone who uses the Evermore era as a toilet break. The underrated pandemic album is filled with poetic despair, such as “ Marjorie ” aka Taylor’s grandmother, which Taylor gives a shout out to her and her mother’s time living in Singapore.

But perhaps it’s best on display with “Champagne Problems”, which Taylor tackles on the piano. By the time the final note hits, the deafening silence invites a standing ovation, where I find myself at my tallest tiptoes and highest heels.

8.13PM: There’s something amusingly camp about Taylor taunting her past selves locked in boxes, which is what we witness during the Reputation era segment. Expect hip thrusts, hair flips and plenty of snarls. This one is for the baddies.

The Eras Tour

8.32PM: After a brief – but magical – throwback to Speak Now’s album cuts “Enchanted” and “Long Live”, Taylor re-emerges feeling 22, sporting a tee slogan-ed “ Who’s Taylor Swift Anyway? Ew . ” Every previous tour of Taylor’s is filled with adorable fan interactions, and this cycle’s ritual of gifting her 22 hat is no exception. Singapore’s chosen one tonight is a little girl, who enthusiastically hugs Taylor twice during the sweet exchange.

8.54PM: Folklore’s more alternative approach might not strike a chord with casual, mainstream listeners, but Taylor said “art, not the charts”, with the string of seven songs being one of the longest eras performed. “August” and “The Last Great American Dynasty” truly lean into her sublime songwriting skills, translating stories on stage as if we were watching a Broadway play instead, complete with an elaborate moss-covered cabin set.

9.24PM : But the slower pace is only the calm before the perfect storms . Taylor makes all the tables turn with a full-fledged pop princess comeback on stage for the 1989 era, complete with a sparkly orange dress and stadium-shaking synths on titan radio hits “Style” and “Blank Space”.

“Bad Blood” ends on a fiery note, as the on-screen Lover House burns to the ground. That can only mean one thing….

The Eras Tour

9.40PM: Here comes the part that neither this article or anyone else can prepare you for: surprise songs – which Taylor confesses is her favourite part of the show. For the unacquainted, Taylor rotates two random songs from her discography for an acoustic set every night – one on guitar, one on piano. Sometimes they’re mashups of deep cuts, sometimes they’re soundtrack songs. The point is, you never know what you’re gonna get.

Tonight we’re treated to a mashup of “Mean”/”Starlight” and “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever”/”Dress” – the latter of which gets the crowd absolutely feral, considering soundtrack songs are a rare gem.

9.49PM: After the frenzy-inducing double whammy we just witnessed, Taylor channels her inner Tom Daley and dives into the front of her runway stage – in what is now a TikTok-viral moment since the first concert date last year.

We Ranked All Of Taylor Swift’s Eras From Least To Most Iconic In Anticipation Of Her SG Concert

9.52PM: Still fresh off her Album of the Year Grammy win, Taylor launches into the Midnights era of the show, which also marks the final chapter of the night. “Vigilante Shit” is a particular standout, with sensual chair choreography showing that Taylor is a far cry from the “can’t sing, can’t dance” country girl when she first debuted.

“Karma” is the finale closer, and a fun one at that. You’ve got to hand it to Taylor for getting even the straightest, middle-aged men singing “ karma is my boyfriend, karma is a cat ” without inhibitions – perhaps not knowing exactly what they got themselves into by accompanying their girlfriends or daughters. New Swifties are born tonight, for sure.

10.16PM: Confetti falls in the air as Taylor and her crew take their bows. And with that, Night #1 of The Eras Tour has ended, with another five shows to go – which means more surprise songs and maybe even a sighting of her at the Singapore Zoo ? Swift Week is only just beginning, you guys.

Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour is an unprecedented concert experience

The Eras Tour

The armies of Swifties trail out of the stadium chorusing to different songs, smiles still visible despite aching feet and sore throats. Before this week, a colleague asked why I like Taylor Swift so much. And post-concert, I realise it’s truly the effortless combination of her genre-shifting music, on-the-nose lyricism and charming personality that encapsulates what it is to simply be a human being , which cements her as a role model and legend for our generation.

2024 looks set to be full steam ahead for Taylor and Swifties alike, with a new album of songs to decipher meanings, decode easter eggs and make new friendship bracelets to just around the corner. Onwards to 19 April 2024, and another era. We’re ready for it.

The best street style from Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Singapore

By Azrin Tan

9 March 2024

Be it the dark, brooding deliveries inspired after her 'Reputation' era or the bubblegum-pop mania of Swift’s 'Lover', the Swifties really said pose, slay and serve

Are you ready for it? The long-awaited Eras Tour has finally arrived on our shores—and just last night, Taylor Swift commenced her six-night streak with a sellout opening night that had Swifties singing their hearts out . Make no mistake of it: the anticipation has been notably high these past weeks, what with legions of fans gathering to make friendship bracelets and Taylor Swift-related activiations happening all across town. In the lead up to the tour hitting our side of the globe, other forms of preparation have also been at the forefront of show-goers’ minds: that of their concert garb .

By all means, a regular concert in our humid climes would only call upon the most comfortable ensembles—but the same cannot be said for a Taylor Swift affair. If the kitschy friendship bracelets being made in her name were not enough of a tell, Swifties are making this their swan song: no time and effort spared to ensure that they’ll be walking into the National Stadium in no less than their sartorial best.

And with the first day done and dusted, the verdict is in. With surprise songs ‘Mine’ and ‘Starlight’ sending all into a frenzy, her legions of fans in the stands reflected this fervour in kind—with a fabulous outing of the most kaleidoscopic hues, eclectic ensembles and ferociously stylish characters. Of course, there was no doubt that many came decked out in looks that were completely modelled after a different ‘era’ of the Grammy award-winning singer’s immense discography; be it the dark, brooding deliveries inspired after the serpent-esque Reputation era or the bubblegum-pop mania of Swift’s Lover . Many also recalled Swift’s country roots—also undoubtedly the rising genre of the season—as they arrived in an array of cowboy boots and hats.

As we await Swift’s next night in town, spy the most elaborate, high-octane, and downright audacious street style looks from Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour stop in Singapore, as captured by Leong Su Shan .

Look What Taylor Swift’s Exclusive Singapore Shows Made Its Southeast Asian Neighbors Do

F ans across Southeast Asia were seeing Red when news broke last year that Singapore would be the only regional stop for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. But as concertgoers swarm to Singapore for the pop star’s six sold-out shows starting this weekend, it seems like Bad Blood is also brewing among neighboring government officials, amid allegations that Singaporean authorities specifically brokered a deal for TIME’s 2023 Person of the Year to Stay Stay Stay in the city-state.

On Wednesday, Philippine lawmaker Joey Salceda called on the Philippines’ Department of Foreign Affairs to pressure its Singaporean counterpart agency for an explanation on the Delicate situation, local media reported.

“If true, [this] isn’t what good neighbors do,” said Salceda, adding that while the grant gave a significant boost to Singapore’s economy, “it was at the expense of neighboring countries, which could not attract their own foreign concert goers, and whose fans had to go to Singapore.”

“It also runs contrary to the principle of consensus-based relations and solidarity on which the ASEAN was founded,” he said, referring to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, a body that helps to coordinate cooperation in the region.

How You Get the Girl

Speculations of an exclusivity deal between Singapore and Taylor Swift’s were first brought up by Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin, who told a Bangkok business forum on Feb. 16 that he had heard from Swift’s concert promoter Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) that the Singapore government had offered up to $3 million to Swift’s team for each of the shows she would put on in Singapore, in exchange for a promise not to perform anywhere else in Southeast Asia during her Eras Tour.

AEG did not immediately respond to TIME’s request for comment, while Singapore’s tourism and youth authorities confirmed to TIME in a joint statement that the tourism board had “supported the event through a grant” without specifying the sum or details of any restrictive clause.

“If I had known this, I would have brought the shows to Thailand,” Srettha said at the forum, describing the Singapore government as “clever” for allegedly brokering an exclusive deal with the organizers.

There’s little wonder why governments are desperate to have Swift grace their stadiums. The Grammy-winning singer is known to revitalize local economies wherever she goes . More than 300,000 tickets have been sold for Swift’s Singapore shows, and buzz surrounding the concert is giving the city-state a phenomenal economic boost. Tourists traveling in to catch Swift’s performance have driven up local hotel and flight prices by up to 30% , and experts estimate that Swift’s concerts could generate up to $500 million in tourism revenue—along with the cascading economic impact of the city solidifying its reputation as a massive events hub.

The youth ministry, its statement to TIME said, “recognized that there will be significant demand from Singaporeans as well as fans across the region for her to perform in Singapore, and worked directly with AEG Presents for Taylor Swift to perform in Singapore.”

You Belong With Me

While some are decrying Singapore’s maneuver, others see opportunity in trying to replicate its success. Indonesia’s tourism minister told Bloomberg earlier this month that they “need ‘Swiftonomics’ for Indonesian tourism” and were introducing policies to entice more tourists to visit the country, including a seed fund of up to 2 trillion rupiah (about $127 million) per year to support music, sports, and cultural events.

And last week, when asked if Hong Kong would consider “similar arrangements” when trying to attract pop concerts to revive the city’s post-pandemic economy—in reference to Swift’s alleged deal in Singapore—the Chinese enclave’s leader John Lee said : “Amid Hong Kong’s fierce competition with other cities that have been striving to improve themselves, we have to be relentless in our efforts to lure mega events including matches, sports events and cultural events.”

Hong Kong authorities recently dedicated nearly $2 million in grants to welcome TIME’s 2023 Athlete of the Year Lionel Messi and his team Inter Miami to the city for a friendly match—though that ended in a PR disaster .

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are bringing their romance to yet another venue — Gucci's official Oscars afterparty!

The couple, who just jetted back from Swift's Eras Tour shows in Singapore , landed in Los Angeles just in time to celebrate the 96th annual Academy Awards and step out for an event following the awards ceremony together. The pair attended Gucci's 16th annual event known as "The Party" on Sunday night, which was held at talent manager Guy Oseary's home.

The Grammy winner, 34, and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, were among the A-listers on the guest list, which also included Oscar winners like Billie Eilish and Cillian Murphy , as well as stars Anya Taylor Joy , Austin Butler , Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence , among others.

"They were on the patio and in great moods. She had a very happy, giant smile," a guest at the party tells PEOPLE. "He was protective of her and she was delightful and glowing — they seemed very happy together and loving the night."

Several of the couple's friends were also in attendance, including Lana Del Rey , Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum and Swift's tour mate Sabrina Carpenter and her rumored boyfriend Barry Keoghan , who also recently attended the Eras Tour in Singapore .

The pop superstar and three-time Super Bowl champion's post-Oscars outing comes off the heels of Swift's six-night Eras Tour run in Singapore.

Before the "Cruel Summer" singer's string of sold-out shows wrapped up on Saturday, Kelce traveled to attend the fifth and sixth nights .

During night five, Swift gave a sweet nod to her boyfriend in the crowd, as she  changed the lyrics  of her Midnights hit "Karma" to give him a shout out by singing, per fan  videos , “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me."

While in Singapore, the pair was spotted spending quality time together . Fans captured footage of the two enjoying a casual date night out a mall.

After the shows — which marked the end of the Eras Tour's leg across Australia, New Zealand and Asian — Swift took to Instagram to express her gratitude for the success of her six-night residency. "We got to play 6 shows in Singapore for the most wonderful crowds — just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who traveled and put so much effort into being at our shows," the "Anti-Hero" singer wrote. "What an unforgettable way to end this leg of the tour!!"

It won't be long until Swift sets back out on the next leg of the Eras Tour. In May, she'll jet-set off to Europe for the next string of international dates, which begins with a series of dates in Paris and goes on to last through much of the summer.

Despite having a little over two months off before taking the stage again, the pop star won't be relaxing much. Her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department , is due out April 19.

"See you in May when we get back to the Eras Tour!! In the meantime I’ve got an album to release… 🤍✍️," Swift also wrote in the caption of her post commemorating the end of her Singapore shows.

Judge quotes Taylor Swift lyrics, sentences Eras Tour concert trespasser to 6 weeks’ jail

eras tour sg

SINGAPORE - “I knew you were trouble when you walked in,” belts American pop star Taylor Swift in her song I Knew You Were Trouble.

Trouble was what Chinese national Li Xiaowei, 45, found himself in on March 22, when he was jailed for six weeks over sneaking three people into Swift’s Eras Tour concert at the National Stadium on March 4.

Li, who had held the turnstile for three women and pushed them through, pleaded guilty to one charge of criminal trespass.

Before meting out the sentence, District Judge Hairul Hakkim Kuthibutheen noted the offence was premeditated and said: “Foreshadowing Taylor Swift’s hit song, I Knew You Were Trouble, the accused entered the National Stadium with the intent of committing the offence.”

Deputy Public Prosecutor Darren Ang said that on March 1, the three women – Hu Zhijun, 21, Yang Junhao, 23, and Shangguan Linmo, 25 – left Wuhan, China, to head to Penang, Malaysia, for a holiday.

While on a connecting flight from Wuhan to Penang, a man asked Shangguan if she wanted to buy three Eras Tour tickets for 4,000 yuan (S$750) each.

This man was not named in court documents.

Shangguan agreed, and the man said he would connect her with someone in Singapore who would help her get free-seating tickets.

He gave her the contact of Yang Chenguang.

The women flew to Singapore on March 4 and met Yang at one of the gates of the National Stadium after passing through security checks. One of the women transferred 12,000 yuan to an Alipay account when Yang told her to. Yang then met Li and spoke to him.

At around 5.30pm, Yang walked towards the row of turnstile gates at Gate 3 and noticed there were no security officers at three of the turnstiles. DPP Ang said this was because three of the four security officers stationed at Gate 3 were responding to a commotion nearby.

When Yang alerted Li to this, Li walked towards one of the unattended turnstiles where two concertgoers were queueing to scan their tickets.

Yang approached the lone security officer at the turnstile gates and asked for directions to another gate.

DPP Ang said this was done to distract the officer from Li and the three women, who were about to sneak in.

As one concertgoer entered the venue through the turnstile, Li held onto the bar to prevent it from rotating into a locked position and pushed the three women through it. Yang then gestured to distract the officer.

After the women entered the National Stadium, Li and Yang walked away. But a concertgoer who saw what Li had done shouted at the officer to alert him.

Li pushed her on her back, and shook her hands aggressively, asking her why she was shouting.

When another concertgoer asked Li to stop touching her, both Li and Yang left the scene.

The security officer at the gate was told about what had happened, but could not find the three women.

The police arrived and arrested Li and Yang.

Yang’s case is before the courts.

Seeking a sentence of between six and eight weeks’ jail, DPP Ang said, given the sheer number of concertgoers at The Eras Tour and the fact that the area near the turnstile gates was crowded at the time, Li’s offence constituted a serious breach of the public order , for which a deterrent sentence was warranted.

He added: “Fundamentally, this concerned a hugely popular event, generating significant local and regional attention. Safety and security is a paramount consideration on the premises. Consequently, actions which disrupt, or undermine, these efforts must be uncompromisingly dealt with.”

In mitigation, Li pleaded for leniency and said he needed to return to China for surgery. He did not elaborate on his medical condition.

Before meting out the sentence, District Judge Hairul noted that Li made unlawful contact with a legitimate concertgoer after committing the offence.

Those convicted of committing criminal trespass can be jailed for up to three months, fined up to $1,500, or both.

On March 20, United States magazine Billboard reported that a California judge also quoted Swift, using lyrics from her song All Too Well.

Justice Maria Stratton had rejected heavy metal band Metallica’s lawsuit demanding its insurance company pay for more than US$3 million (S$4 million) in losses stemming from concerts that were cancelled due to the pandemic.

Justice Stratton said: “To paraphrase Taylor Swift: ‘We were there. We remember it all too well.’ There was no vaccine against Covid-19 in March 2020 and no drugs to treat it.”
