Are you looking for a European Michelin starred restaurants tour? Or, a gourmet trip of contrasts – glamorous dining at one of the best restaurants in the world one day and a casual local fare lunch at one of our best hidden spots the next? Mix in some gourmet delights at artisan food shops, cheese or olive oil tasting directly on the farm, learn some tricks of the trade with a fun cooking class, and you’ve got yourself one delicious tour on your next customized Spain, Portugal, Italy or France vacation!
Spain’s Mediterranean cuisine is the result of many cultures, like the Greeks and Romans who introduced olives, olive oil, and wine. Then the Moors brought fresh and dried fruits, honey, rice, many spices and more, thus enhancing relatively simple yet hearty dishes. The heart of Portuguese food too is a rich Mediterranean cuisine with Moorish influences, not surprising really as the Moors conquered the whole Iberian Peninsula. South Western French cuisine has a richer Mediterranean take, influenced by the heavy sauces and elaborate desserts of northern France but with an emphasis on rich foods. Italy being a country with a lengthy coastline has been exposed to the many peoples who conquered. From Middle-Eastern influences down south, to the richer Austro-Hungarian foods of the north and the beloved peasant fare of middle-Italy. Experience gourmet delights and fine wines on your private Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and French tour with us!
Fresh, seasonal and locally sourced Mediterranean produce can be found in the local markets, so what better way to experience the essence of these kitchens that entertain your gourmet fancies, than with a tour to a European food market? It’s what the super chefs do to keep their countries sparkling with Michelin stars! The current best restaurant in the world is in Menton, border of France & Italy, and run by an Argentinian-Italian, so these mixes really do provoke something delicious indeed! You will surely enjoy our bespoke gourmet and culinary itineraries in Spain, Portugal, France & Italy tailor-made to your preferences!

Small Group Sicily Food & Wine Tour (Maximum 8 Guests)
Well organized tour, very good accommodation, excelent quality of tasted food including the one on markets. Cooking class led by excellent chef cook with sense of humor. Professional guides, professional drivers. There is nothing to complain about. I'll certainly come back to Sicily. One comment: please leave more time to visit Noto.

Taste of Salento-Authentic Culinary Experience
The De Matteis family could not have been more welcoming. I met interesting people from New Zealand, New York and Sydney and a couple of walkers from Seattle joined us one evening. We visited amazing sights and ate and drank local food every day. I swam in the pool and learned how to make the perfect spaghetti carbonara.

Private Sicily Food & Wine Lovers Tour
Massimo of Sicily Activities was wonderful to work with. He always answered right away, and took care of EVERYTHING throughout the trip--even things that weren't strictly part of the tour. We were a private group of 15. PALERMO: The hotel was wonderful and Fabrizio was a great guide for the food tour. Luca was a great driver to Monreale and Cefalu'. Larisa was a good guide for the Monreale cathedral and Lisabeta in Cefalu' was fantastic--and the restaurant was, too. Claudio, our driver to Agrigento and Siracusa was excellent. The guide at Valley of the Temples was good. An amazing place. SIRACUSA: The hotel was lovely and in a great location. Both guides in Ortigia were great--Valerio for the walking tour and Paolo for the foodie dinner--what a fun man. Paolo, the driver to Noto, Villa Romana del Casale and Taormina was fantastic. Saro was an excellent guide in Noto and Mt Etna. Lunches in both Noto and Piazza Amerina were delicious. Patrizia, the guide for Villa Romana, was wonderful, especially when we needed an ambulance for one of the women to go to the hospital. And dear Massimo even arranged a taxi for me from the hospital back to Siracusa (about an hour and half away). The driver was the nicest man! TAORMINA: Another very nice hotel. Our guide for the walking tour was really good. She was patient as we were a little late getting ready to start the tour, but she still took us to the Greek Theatre in the rain and wind. The tour to Mt Etna was fabulous--both the tasting and the lunch. Massimo even arranged a pizza-making class when weather prevented us from going on our scheduled boat ride. In summary, there was nothing Massimo could have done better. And this is at a time when all the tour directors were overwhelmed with bookings. He was a standout!
Discover Matera and Taste of Salento Tour
I traveled with my husband in December and booked this tour last minute. We were curious to visit Matera and spend a few days in a Masseria in Salento. The tour was beyond our expectations. The family atmosphere, hospitality and generosity of the people involved in the tour made us feel at home and part of that family. The food cooked by Emilio was delicious, he prepared a different dish for us every day. A big plus of the tour is the fact of letting yourself be guided by a local person to discover the picturesque villages, a different one every day. Matera, on the other hand, is a fairytale city, I now understand why it was chosen as a location for so many films! The cave room is amazing. Abundant tasting of wines and local products! A mention for the local guide of Matera, Mr. Cosimo, friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable! A tour that we highly recommend! Thanks to Omar from SoletoTravel for making everything so easy.
Charming Sicily Food & Wine Small Group Tour - 8 days
Overall our tour was wonderful. We had a great time. Denise, especially was a very good guide, very knowledgable and personable. The cooking class and our Palermo Street Food tour was, probably my favorites. A few areas that could have been improved upon: - A little more communication prior to the tour would have been reassuring. In this day of fraud it is a little unnerving to send all that money into the internet and not get much of a response. - The final communication, our itinerary, was a definite problem. We were told by Tour Radar that we would receive it 10-14 days before we left. The tour operator (ClickTours/Mossimo) told us we would receive it 8 days before we left. I finally called Tour Radar 6 days before we left
Sicily Food Adventure
Sicily was great, the transportation was very good, fellow passengers were a great bunch who mixed well. Food and wine experiences were good, but for me the highlight of the trip was ancient and modern Sicily. The tour guide was lovely and tried very hard but with limited English understanding, was not able to provide any significant on board commentary or quell the frustrations that accrued as we drove from place to place. Accommodation throughout the tour was average to good and the weather was just perfect.

5 Days Italian Cookery Getaway in Umbria
We originally booked this for June of 2020, but obviously had to cancel. Raffaella kindly worked with us on rescheduling. The cooking classes and outings were truly high points in our Italy vacation, and the relaxed atmosphere was a welcome break between Rome and Florence visits. Raffaella and her staff provided a very enjoyable and memorable experience. We certainly hope we can find the opportunity to return.
South Italy Campania Escape
Hotel room was large and comfortable = 5* Hotel location was difficult : NO buses, NO subway close by. We had to walk a LOT , even to reach meeting points for daily tours !! (2*) Staff was VERY friendly and helpful. (5*) TOUR to POMPEI / VESUVIO was excellent, considering the conditions... Excellent LUNCH and wine testing (5*) We did the VESUVIO hike, all the way to the TOP ! (5*) TOUR of NAPOLI was good. / We saw many more places, and took the subway (5*) Note : we had problems with the street food . Difficult to find good, relaxing places to have dinner in NAPOLI. ..Next time we will consult a TOUR GUIDE BOOK.

Northern Italy Gourmet Luxury Tour - 8 Days
Everything about our tour was just amzingly great... from the tours, to the arrangements, to our chaufered driven Mercedes. One suggestion about our last stay at Locandia Marquesi di Alfieri. It is a very small village, and no nearby restaurant open on Mondays. Without a vehicle, it can be difficult, so it would be good to inform your clients. Also, the goodbye dinner was at Blue Rose, which would require a walk down to and back up the steep road. At night it can be a challenge and even dangerous, with no sidewalks. I would suggest either Osteria il Re degli Ignoranti or Ristorante Concordia, which are much closer to the Locandia Marquesi di Alfieri Hotel.

What people love about food & culinary tours in italy.
I can’t say enough good things about our experience in Sicily thanks to Mossimo and his team. Excellent, informative tour guides…Denise, Carlos, Antonio and Sem. The cooking class may have been the highlight, but all of the activities were fun and the pace of the tour, planned activities/free time mix was perfect. Will definitely recommend!
Continued.. Besides both Carla and Emilios own knowlege and history of each place they had Profesional guides to take you around to the other places. Nice to be in a private car. Great food like I said before. Emilio really takes care and you can see the passion in every dish he makes. Very well put together tour. Loved my stay at the farmhouse learning about the olive trees. Overall a Wonderful experience during my week in brindisi. Will visit again! Crystal

Right across the Adriatic Sea from Italy, Croatia was never as isolated as other Eastern Bloc nations, yet remained off the beaten path for tourists. Our culinary journey includes a traditional truffle hunt, a boat ride to a private island and its oyster beds, as well as excursions to some of Croatia’s most iconic cities and Roman ruins. Learn to cook an authentic Italian meal from local chefs, visit farms and nearby food producers, relax in lush, rolling vineyards, and sip and taste your way through iconic Montepulciano, Pienza, Siena. A CULINARY PASSAGE TO MOROCCO: SAVOURY SPICES AND SOUKS
9-Day Moroccan Food Tour
Our Morocco culinary tour is a treat for the senses, particularly the taste buds. Arabic, Berber, French, and Italian influences merge to make Morocco one of the most fascinating and flavorful destinations in the world. From urban Casablanca to the fishing village Essaouira to Berber villages of the High Atlas Mountains to the mesmerizing Marrakech, Morocco’s distinct culture is a story best told through its cuisine, an exciting mix of Berber, Arabic, Andalusian, and Mediterranean cuisines with some European and sub-Saharan influences as well.
Because Morocco sits at a crossroads of several civilizations, ancient traditions are still part of everyday life. It’s seductive, as sweeping deserts contrast with more than 1,000 miles of coastline. Daily life in this predominantly Muslim country follows the rhythms of calls to prayer — but also the rhythms of the souks — the frenetic and near-mystical markets. Alleyways filled with fresh baked goods, produce, pungent aromas from colorful barrels of exotic spices, as well as tassel purses, leather slippers, silver lanterns, and jeweled caftans.

On our 9-day Thailand food tour, we head from bustling Bangkok to a relaxing riverside resort in Ban Thaton, near the Golden Triangle, and end up at the charming northern city of Chiang Mai. You’ll enjoy mouth-watering Thai cooking classes with expert chefs, explore the fascinating Thai culture, and enjoy the outdoors, including a visit to a sanctuary for rescued elephants. And at the end of each day, you will relax in sumptuous boutique hotels.
PERU: THE HIDDEN GEM
9-Day Peru Food Tour
Peru might just be the birthplace of authentic fusion, and Lima the gastronomy capital of South America. Spanish, West African, Chinese, Japanese, and Andean influences meld together to create a cuisine as deliciously captivating and complex as the culture. Our 9-day guided culinary tour takes you from the coastal, cosmopolitan city of Lima to the colonial city of Cusco in the Peruvian Andes, once capital of the Inca Empire. Together with the Sacred Valley and the ancient city of Machu Picchu, this was the heart of the Incas.
DISCOVER THE REAL VIETNAM
9-Day Vietnam Culinary Tour
Indochine is a name that stirs the senses and emotions. It conjures visions of proud farmers in conical straw hats tending to their rice paddies. It conjures smells of lemongrass, ginger and mint, savory spices used in Vietnamese cooking. And it conjures the romance of a bygone colonial era, and the hope of a resilient people who look to a modern future, even as they retain the deep traditions that make Vietnam food tours so fascinating.
Join us on our Vietnam food tour for an experience that will take you deep into the culture as you cook (and eat) your way from Saigon to Hanoi. Along the way, you’ll stop at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Hoi An and the former imperial capital of Hue. Enjoy unparalleled local access on our Vietnam tour, such as private dinners in a colonial mansion and a royal garden house, Vietnamese cooking classes and market tours with renowned chefs, and even a street food tour as you ride on the back of a vintage Vespa!

Fun facts from our Moscow Metro Tours:
From the very first days of its existence, the Moscow Metro was the object of civil defense, used as a bomb shelter, and designed as a defense for a possible attack on the Soviet Union.
At a depth of 50 to 120 meters lies the second, the coded system of Metro-2 of Moscow subway, which is equipped with everything you need, from food storage to the nuclear button.
According to some sources, the total length of Metro-2 reaches over 150 kilometers.
The Museum was opened on Sportivnaya metro station on November 6, 1967. It features the most interesting models of trains and stations.
Coffee Ring
The first scheme of Moscow Metro looked like a bunch of separate lines. Listen to a myth about Joseph Stalin and the main brown line of Moscow Metro.
Zodiac Metro
According to some astrologers, each of the 12 stops of the Moscow Ring Line corresponds to a particular sign of the zodiac and divides the city into astrological sector.

Moscow Metro
The Moscow Metro Tour is included in most guided tours’ itineraries. Opened in 1935, under Stalin’s regime, the metro was not only meant to solve transport problems, but also was hailed as “a people’s palace”. Every station you will see during your Moscow metro tour looks like a palace room. There are bright paintings, mosaics, stained glass, bronze statues… Our Moscow metro tour includes the most impressive stations best architects and designers worked at - Ploshchad Revolutsii, Mayakovskaya, Komsomolskaya, Kievskaya, Novoslobodskaya and some others.
What is the kremlin in russia?
The guide will not only help you navigate the metro, but will also provide you with fascinating background tales for the images you see and a history of each station.
And there some stories to be told during the Moscow metro tour! The deepest station - Park Pobedy - is 84 metres under the ground with the world longest escalator of 140 meters. Parts of the so-called Metro-2, a secret strategic system of underground tunnels, was used for its construction.
During the Second World War the metro itself became a strategic asset: it was turned into the city's biggest bomb-shelter and one of the stations even became a library. 217 children were born here in 1941-1942! The metro is the most effective means of transport in the capital.
There are almost 200 stations 196 at the moment and trains run every 90 seconds! The guide of your Moscow metro tour can explain to you how to buy tickets and find your way if you plan to get around by yourself.

The Chinese Cusine
Many unique regional food styles contribute to the China’s extensive cuisine. The most well known of the 8 different cooking styles are Cantonese, Shandong, Jiangsu and Szechuan cuisine forms. These types are distinctive from one another due to the available products, climate and geography, historical influences, variations in cooking techniques and population lifestyles.
Whilst one regional style may emphasize garlic and shallots versus chili and spices, another favors seafood ingredients over meats or poultry. Sichuan cuisine is spicier with a fondness for baking, whereas Jiangsu recipes call more on braising and stewing techniques. The ‘hairy crab,’ found in local lakes, is a popular menu item in Shanghai. The world-renowned Peking Duck is famous dish everywhere around the planet, not just in China.
Weather you are ready to discover Shanghai’s street food specialties including the famous dumplings or noodles, or you would like to learn more about the tea culture of the legendary Hangzhou region, visit a tea plantation and participate in traditional tea ceremony, we can arrange the highest standard tours for you.

Go beneath the streets on this tour of the spectacular, mind-bending Moscow Metro! Be awed by architecture and spot the Propaganda , then hear soviet stories from a local in the know. Finish it all up above ground, looking up to Stalins skyscrapers, and get the inside scoop on whats gone on behind those walls.
Know More about this tour
We begin our Moscow tour beneath the city, exploring the underground palace of the Moscow Metro. From the Square of Revolution station, famous for its huge statues of soviet people (an armed soldier, a farmer with a rooster, a warrior, and more), we’ll move onto some of the most significant stations, where impressive mosaics, columns, and chandeliers will boggle your eyes! Moreover, these stations reveal a big part of soviet reality — the walls depict plenty of Propaganda , with party leaders looking down from images on the walls. Your local guide will share personal stories of his/her family from USSR times, giving you insight into Russia’s complicated past and present. Then we’re coming back up to street level, where we’ll take a break and refuel with some Russian fast food: traditional pancakes, called bliny. And then, stomachs satiated, we are ready to move forward! We’ll take the eco-friendly electric trolleybus, with a route along the Moscow Garden Ring. Used mainly by Russian babushkas(grannies) during the day, the trolleybus hits peak hours in the mornings and evenings, when many locals use it going to and from their days. Our first stop will be the Aviator’s House, one of Stalin’s Seven Sisters, followed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs — and you’ll hear the legends of what has gone on inside the walls. Throughout your Moscow tour, you’ll learn curious facts from soviet history while seeing how Russia exists now, 25 years after the USSR.
