Coldplay  will hit the road next spring for a lengthy world tour with support from  H.E.R.  on most dates. The British rock act will travel three continents for the stadium tour that will run from March through September 2022.

Kicking off on March 18th in San Jose, CR, the tour touches down in the U.S. on April 23rd for a stop in Santa Clara, CA, followed by Los Angeles (4/26). The domestic shows include dates in Phoenix, AZ (5/3); Dallas, TX (5/6); Houston, TX (5/8); Chicago, IL (5/28); Washington, D.C. (6/1); Philadelphia, PA (6/8); Atlanta, GA (6/11); and finally Tampa, FL (6/14). Coldplay then plays international shows in Germany, Poland, France, Belgium, England, and a lone South American show at  Rock in Rio Festival  (9/10). All of the shows in the United States will feature support from H.E.R.

Coldplay has also pledged to cut carbon emissions for this tour by 50% compared to the band’s 2016–17 world tour. See the group’s statement below for details.

We pledge to cut our direct emissions by 50% compared to our previous tour (2016-17), and work with our partners and suppliers to reduce their impacts and emissions wherever possible. For remaining CO2 emissions we are creating a carbon fund for the drawdown of carbon via nature- and technology-based solutions.

In 2019 we commissioned a team of sustainability experts to investigate our environmental impact and carbon footprint. This has helped us to identify the key areas where we can avoid, reduce and mitigate our carbon emissions.

Using our previous stadium tour as a baseline, we have set ourselves a science-led target of 50% reduction in our CO2 emissions using the ‘absolute contraction’ method.

We pledge to drawdown any unavoidable emissions according to the Oxford Principles for Net-Zero Aligned Carbon Offsetting.

[…] Despite our best efforts, the tour will still have a significant carbon footprint. We pledge to draw down more CO2 than the tour produces by supporting projects based on reforestation, rewilding, conservation, soil regeneration, carbon capture / storage (DACCS) and renewable energy. As part of this pledge, the tour will fund the planting – and lifelong protection of – millions of new trees, including one tree for every ticket sold.

Pre-sale tickets for the Coldplay 2022 world tour with H.E.R. go up on Monday, October 18th at 10 a.m. local venue time. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 22nd at 10 a.m. local time. Scroll down to see a full list of tour dates. Learn more about the band’s sustainability pledge here .

H.E.R Concert Tickets

Get ready to groove with your H.E.R tickets from TicketSmarter. Like many great R&B artists , H.E.R has a knack for interacting with audiences. Fans will enjoy moving and swaying to the beat with a multitude of others. Their genre can be traced back to African American communities in the 1940s. At first, it was a mix of jazz that was driven by a heavy and consistent beat. It had a distinct influence on the development of rock and roll. R&B has been associated with musical acts that might be more traditionally considered as rock groups. British rock bands like the Rolling Stones, The Who and the Animals were all promoted as R&B bands at some point in their history.

During the 1970s, R&B became associated with soul and funk. In many ways, the genres are used interchangeably. Artists like Stevie Wonder demonstrate this blend well, as many of his tracks can fall into any one of these categories. Contemporary R&B became more popular in the 1980s and 1990s with the influence of hip-hop and electronic music. Popular artists such as Mariah Carey represent this more modern style of R&B and soul. You’re bound to hear a mix of R&B and soul tracks with your H.E.R tickets.

H.E.R Ticket Prices

Many factors will influence H.E.R ticket prices. Sold-out shows will always cause tickets to increase in price. The venue will also have a large impact on the cost of tickets. Concerts in popular cities like New York and Los Angeles can see more expensive ticket prices.

How much are H.E.R tickets?

H.E.R concert tickets have been known to cost around $80 on average. Cheaper concert tickets can be found on the upper levels of the arena. Seats in the upper levels can start around $34. Lower seating and floor seats will bring fans as close to the stage as possible. These premium H.E.R concert tour tickets can begin at around $139.

H.E.R Tour Dates & Concert Schedule

H.E.R will usually go on a tour to promote a recent album release. Other tours will likely occur when H.E.R gets together with other notable artists. These tours can be limited to certain regions such as Europe or North America. Around 25-50 H.E.R tour dates will be set for the tour that can be as short as a few months or extend across multiple years.

It’s possible to find H.E.R tour tickets that are a part of music festivals like the New Orleans Jazz Festival and Essence Music Festival . H.E.R tour venues include stops in historic theatres like the Greek Theatre and the House of Blues. Fans can get into the show easily with TicketSmarter’s mobile ticket transfer.

When do H.E.R tickets go on sale?

Many H.E.R tour dates will be announced around four to six months before the tour begins. Tickets go on sale almost immediately following these announcements. TicketSmarter’s H.E.R concert schedule is updated in real time. When new shows get added, all available seats will also be updated in the above schedule. Live reviews

As always Her were flawless. They sound amazing, are super tight and are so much fun to watch. Their interactions with each other and with the crowd are great and you can see they are having fun. They played a good mixture of songs from spotify, unreleased, new and their sensational cover of Change is Gonna come.

My one and only gripe is that half the crowd were so awful! They stood around, necked their precious beers and talked through the whole set. The rest of us were dancing and singing along and having a good time. Made it really frustrating when people in front of you were just stood there like bored mullets. I felt bad for the band because their audience wasn't engaging. Much preferred the vibe when they played at The Islington.

The concert was great. Even though they weren't able to play an encore due to lack of songs by that time. The club where they played was rather small so the crowd was very close to the band.

The live set was quite different from the sound that they recorded on their EP. The sound was more energetic and songs ended quite a few times in loud excessive noise solos. What was pretty awesome in my opinion.

You should definetly go and watch those guys even if you aren't completely confident with their first EP.

Amazing energy. Great voices and music. Venue was quite small and warm, especially given the energy levels - but was still a good night. Her are going to be HUGE and I can't wait to see them in a bigger venue.

Taylor Swift opened the Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona — which rebranded itself as "Swift Cit y" for the March 17 and 18 concerts — with a triumphant return to live performance as the first act in the history of that venue to sell out two nights on the same tour.

The tour will head from Canada to the U.S. for cross-country dates from October through December. In February and March, Eilish hits Australia then travels to Europe from April through July. There are 12 UK dates including six in London.

Eilish, who is a proponent of sustainability, has said the upcoming tour will be the most eco-friendly yet. For the forthcoming album, she will release a limit of eight variants of vinyl through her website as well as all major retailers and all produced with “the most sustainable practices available.” The standard black variant is made from 100% recycled black vinyl and the other seven colored vinyl issues will be made from ECO-MIX or BioVinyl.

Per her website , Eilish “is using a range of solutions as she works with her team towards constant improvement. All merchandise clothing uses residual dead stock from prior productions, organic or recycled polyester or cotton, non-toxic dye inputs and intentional design processes for circularity, reduced climate impact and regeneration to reduce harm to people and planet. Posters are made from 100% recycled paper.”

Since 2019, Eilish has partnered with nonprofit Reverb to reduce her tours’ environmental footprint, engage fans in climate action, and support nonprofit organizations and climate projects.

She has also said she would not be releasing any singles in advance of the album, telling Rolling Stone , “Every single time an artist I love puts out a single without the context of the album, I’m just already prone to hating on it. I really don’t like when things are out of context. This album is like a family: I don’t want one little kid to be in the middle of the room alone.” She also previously wrote on Instagram, “not doing singles i wanna give it to you all at once… finneas and i truly could not be more proud of this album and we absolutely can’t wait for you to hear it.”

Taylor Swift Is Not Attending the 2024 Met Gala to Focus on European Tour Dates

Swift kicks off her Europe tour in Paris on May 9

Melody Chiu is an Executive Editor at PEOPLE overseeing music, events and emerging content. She has been with the brand since 2009, editing, writing and reporting across all entertainment verticals. She has written cover stories on Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Melissa McCarthy, Blake Shelton, Jordan Turpin and Sandra Oh. The Los Angeles native graduated from the University of Southern California and has appeared on Extra! , The Talk, Access Hollywood and Good Morning America .

Taylor Swift is skipping the 2024 Met Gala , PEOPLE can confirm.

Despite reports that she would be attending , the singer, who just dropped her Tortured Poets Department album on April 19, is sitting out fashion's biggest night. Instead, she'll be focusing on rehearsals and tour prep ahead of her Eras Tour dates picking back up on May 9 in Paris before traveling all over Europe during the spring and summer.

The Met Gala, which always takes place on the first Monday in May, will be held on May 6, which would have been a tight squeeze ahead of the tour for Swift, 34.

Emma McIntyre/TAS23/Getty

TMZ previously reported that Swift and her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, would not be attending the Met Gala this year.

Swift has already attended the prestigious night six times (her most recent appearance was in 2016) while Kelce has yet to make his debut at the prestigious event.

The Grammy winner has had a huge couple of weeks, following the release of The Tortured Poets Department as she prepares to head back out on tour. She has taken over the Billboard chart (again!), has seen her album rack up 1 billion Spotify streams in a week and emotionally shared glowing reviews for her work .

No big deal, right?

John Shearer/Getty

While there’s going to be a blank space with Swift absent, the Met Gala is sure to bring out all the heavy hitters in fashion.

This year’s theme is centered on the “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” exhibit, which will feature approximately 250 items — including 15 significant pieces such as an 1877 Charles Frederick Worth silk satin ball gown — that span over 400 years of history. “It is very much an ode to nature and the emotional poetics of fashion,” said Andrew Bolton, Wendy Yu Curator in Charge of the Costume Institute.

Expectedly, the dress code is themed “The Garden of Time” and is inspired by J.G. Ballard’s 1962 short story of the same name. The story follows a count and countess living “in their utopia of leisure, art, and beauty,” as noted by Vogue , who predicts that stars will show up in ensembles paying homage to florals, music and time.

John Lamparski/Getty

Zendaya , Jennifer Lopez , Chris Hemsworth and Bad Bunny will lead the pack as the four co-chairs of the night. Despite the Met Gala being a few weeks away, some of them have yet to finalize their looks (who can blame them, it’s a lot of pressure).

The Challengers actress, an already five-time attendee (her insane Cinderella transformations on the famous steps is simply unforgettable) told Vanity Fair recently that she still doesn’t “really know” what she’s wearing, but she has “ideas.”

Meanwhile, the This is Me…Now singer is still ruminating over a few potentials. “I have a few different sketches. I’m still deciding,” Lopez told Vogue this week. “I’m also one of those people who chooses at the last minute. Like, I like choices, and then I go, ‘Okay, this is how I feel today,’ and then we try to kinda create some type of amazing look — ‘cause that is the night for looks!”

Billy Joel's ex-wife Christie Brinkley dances as he performs 'Uptown Girl': Watch

her tour dates

The uptown girl herself is still living in her uptown world.

Billy Joel's ex-wife Christie Brinkley danced along as he performed "Uptown Girl," the song he wrote about her, during a recent show at Madison Square Garden , according to a video shared on TikTok . The model, 70, was seen swaying and singing the hit track with a huge grin on her face.

Released in 1983, "Uptown Girl" was famously inspired by Brinkley, whom Joel would later marry in 1985. They divorced in 1994. Brinkley also appeared in the music video for the song.

In a 2010 interview on "The Howard Stern Show," Joel explained that when he first started writing "Uptown Girl," he was dating Elle MacPherson , and the original title was "Uptown Girls." But as he continued working on the song and ended his relationship with MacPherson, "rather than it be about all these different girls, (Brinkley) became the uptown girl," Joel said.

"I started writing it about one person," he added, disputing claims that the song was not about Brinkley.

Joel and Brinkley share one child together, 38-year-old Alexa Ray Joel . He was previously married to Elizabeth Weber until 1982, and he was married to Katie Lee from 2004 to 2009. He has been married to Alexis Roderick since 2015. Joel and Roderick share two daughters: Della Rose Joel, 8, and Remy Anne Joel, 6.

In 2019, Brinkley told Yahoo Entertainment that she still has fond memories of "Uptown Girl" and loves the fact that it's associated with her.

"Being the 'Uptown Girl' was really fun and it remains really fun to have a theme song," she told the outlet. "You know, you go into tennis and they play it. You go here or on a talk show and they play it as you walk out. It's really fun to have a theme song, you know? How many (people) get to have that?"

Joel has been performing at Madison Square Garden since January 2014, and he's set to conclude his record-setting run on July 25. The landmark 100th show of his residency was televised on CBS on April 14 and later rebroadcast after ending early during his performance of "Piano Man."

Kylie Minogue’s Vegas Residency Never Stumbles, Even as She Recovers From an Ankle Injury: Concert Review

Kylie Minogue performs during her 'More Than a Residency' tour at Voltaire in Las Vegas.

After a five-month stint in art deco concert venue/nightclub Voltaire at Las Vegas casino The Venetian, Kylie Minogue has just two more performances left before the conclusion of her concert series “More Than a Residency.” Given the grueling schedule she’s maintained since the beginning of the promotional cycle for “Tension,” her sixteenth album, it feels understandable, even appropriate, for Minogue to take her foot off the gas — especially while she’s nursing three torn ligaments and an ankle injury she must ice immediately after every show.

Popular on Variety

Across a set that ran just shy of an hour, they exploited the venue’s expressive, stylized lighting both to acclimate the crowd to the genre-spanning blend of dance music that would be included in Minogue’s performance, and to emphasize every one of their gobsmackingly strong muscles. Songs by Jane Birkin (“Baby Alone In Bablyone”), Cerrone (“Supernature”), Frankie Goes to Hollywood (“Relax”) and Gessafelstein (“Opr”) provided a soundtrack as performers contorted, swung and posed, all while stripping down to various levels of not-quite nudity that were at once thrilling and titillating. During some numbers dressed like Catherine Deneuve in “The Hunger” or a Patrick Nagel painting come to life and others wearing only loincloths or see-through bodysuits, the ensemble expertly warmed up the crowd ahead of Minogue’s performance.

As kaleidoscopic light surrounded her, Minogue beamed while the crowd cheered her arrival. It marked the first of many moments of seemingly sincere gratitude, underscoring her reputation as one of the most approachable pop divas. Then again, that intimacy may also have been the byproduct of Voltaire’s comparatively modest size. But the closeness (both physical and atmospheric) made the diminutive singer seem like an artist performing for friends and the towering international singer who’s sold 80 million records worldwide.

Minogue shuffled through “Vegas High,” reiterating that it was written expressly for her residency as she completed the final tracks for “Tension,” then performed singalong versions of “In Your Eyes” (from “Fever”) and “Get Outta My Way” (from “Aphrodite”) ahead of her first costume change. Returning to the stage dressed in skintight PVC, she performed a pair of her sexiest tracks, “Tension” and the “Body Language” lead single, “Slow.” On the latter, she paired its seductive lyrics with a live performance of the instrumental to Donna Summer’s “Love to Love You Baby” — a welcome callback to one of the many disco singers whose work has inspired and influenced her own. She then paid tribute to her Las Vegas forebears with a cover of Elvis’ “Can’t Help Falling In Love,” whose chorus the audience joined her in singing.

After another costume change, Minogue bounced through “Spinning Around” before reaching all of the way back to 1987 for a rendition of “The Loco-Motion,” the song that first put her on the map. Sandwiching the track between songs from 2000 and 2010, the singer not only reminded ticketholders how long she’s been around, but how long she’s been delivering earworm dancefloor fillers. While members of Belle du Nuit performed more acrobatic movements around her, Minogue easily kept pace with the choreography, a feat made more impressive by the fact that she is recovering from her aforementioned ankle injury — which was virtually undetectable, even while maneuvering around during the show on platform heels.

Though “All the Lovers,” featuring a cascading rainbow light show, ended the third act of the set on an appropriately triumphant note, Minogue returned for three more songs, the biggest of her career: the Grammy-winning “Tension” track “ Padam Padam ” and her instantly-recognizable “Can’t Get You Out of My Head,” plus the Grammy-nominated “Love at First Sight,” both from 2001’s “Fever.” Wearing all white like in the iconography of her “Fever” era, Minogue performed her final few tracks with extra gusto; even on her eighteenth performance of this particular set, she exuded a clear joy on stage, an appreciation to those in attendance not just for joining her in the room but for helping make those songs so popular for so long.

Christie brinkley dances as ex billy joel sings 'uptown girl' in concert, christie brinkley beams as ex billy joel serenades her mid-concert.

There's no bad blood between exes Christie Brinkley and Billy Joel ... as the former spouses shared a sweet moment over the weekend -- where Bill was singing to her once again.

The supermodel attended her ex-hubby's concert at MSG Friday -- where she was filmed dancing along to Billy's hit "Uptown Girl" ... which was written about Christie back in the day.

Waiting for your permission to load TikTok Post.

Check it out ... Christie is seen grinning widely and swaying back and forth on the Jumbotron while watching her ex sing out his hit song. On its face, she was all about it.

Fans couldn't get enough of the exchange ... with one viral response on TikTok noting, "40 years later and your ex man is still grinning at you like that while he sings the song he wrote about how rich and hot you are? Voodoo clam."

For those unfamiliar ... Christie famously starred in Billy's music video for the upbeat anthem. Although, if you ask Billy's other ex, supermodel Elle Macpherson ... she was the real muse for the single -- but that's another story for another day.

Christie and Billy were married in 1985 ... welcoming daughter Alexa Ray Joel later that same year. However, they eventually called it quits in 1994 -- remaining friends all these years later.

It's a good thing Christie caught Billy's show when she did ... as the crooner is set to close his NYC residency this summer. Remember, back in November, Billy confirmed his final show at the famed arena would be July 25 ... which marks his 150th-lifetime show at the venue.

The farewell set is already sold out ... but there are tickets available for his 2024 shows in Cleveland, St. Louis, Inglewood and San Antonio.
