Given Hippie Sabotge's chill music, I had no idea what I was getting my self into last night. I came to the concert with three friends- we got in line around 7:20 for the door opening at 8, and were right up near the front. Security staff were pleasant and professional, and once doors opened, we checks went smoothly and quickly.

Kurs started out with his hit song Uptop, which hyped the crowd, but fell off the vibe after the next few songs. He returned to Uptop for his last song, which was a valiant effort at saving his performance, but didn't work- playing a very repetitive song for the second time in a set just deadened the crowd.

There was a short interlude between Kurs and Hippie Sabotage, and one could feel the energy rising in the air. When the brothers took the stage the crowd went wild- Kevin Saurer walked out smoking a blunt that he handed into the most likely underage crowd.

As the show progressed, the dynamic of the two was clear- Kevin worked the crowd, from throwing t shirts to walking among the audience, while Jeff played the music.

The music was classic 'Sabotage: Devil's Eye, Your Soul, High Enough. If you haven't heard much of their library, it's the same basic EDM formula of modulating treble and heavy drops that we've all come to know. Even if it was repetitive, the crowd loved it.

While I can't say that Hippie Sabotage brought anything new to the EDM scene, I can say for certain that almost everyone at the concert, including me, was having an absolute blast. Isn't that the point?

When I came to the music farm for the millionth time I was expecting top notch speakers, beautiful girls, and a friendly staff. I received all three and then some.

On top of that there was a meet and greet before the concert where I could talk to Hippie Sabotage. This was very informal and they let us hang around, not worth 40 dollars, the experience was priceless. It's always funny to see how people are idolized in the industry yet just guys who like to make music.

The performance for hippie sabotage was absolutely amazing. The light show was executed by two lights people, the sound man had the whole room balanced, and there wasn't but one equipment failure during the performance.

Chill vibes and so much energy with this brotherly duo. One member MC'd, tossed water into the crowd, and lit up during the performance while the other played indie, hip hop, and trap influenced beats, all made by them (a rarity for a DJ group). There were only two songs I could make out that weren't there's, but they were most definitely remixed by themselves. Overall this group knows how to throw a kick ass party, and I encourage anyone to go at least once. Hope to see more EDM like them in the future out here in the Holy City.

If you are interested in going to a show where 80% occupancy is underage, than this is the show for you! The personal effect of smoking with the crowd was a nice touch, but apparently they thought the crowd looked a little hot and wanted to make sure we didn't over heat by dousing us with refreshing Aquafina. We weren't hot. FYI. Some of the songs that were performed, I would love to download and add to my album "sleepy time". After the relentless chanting of "I don't give a fuck, what", that 80% that I mentioned earlier thought it would be an opportune time to storm the stage and give us a better look of the giant X's on their hands. You all should stick to Spotify, and be nicer to the staff that put on these types of shows. (Yeah we all saw the shit you pulled at What the Festival, get the fuck over yourselves)

Nonetheless, it gave us something to do on a Wednesday night.

If you're looking for a concert that it full of nonstop rave music, then this concert is totally for you.

Unfortunately, the opener was a rap artist and I am not a fan of rap so that was probably the only downfall.

Hippie Sabotage loves to get the crowd super excited and crazy so be prepared to be squished, pushed, hit, pulled, etc.

But, that is what makes it all so fun!! As long as you keep your attitude in check and realize the person who's pushing you, really doesn't mean to.

Anyway, if you want to experience a crazy fun concert, go see Hippie Sabotage!

This was the first concert I've ever been to where I wanted nothing more, than to leave. The brothers played popular songs, and had good energy, but ultimately fell short of providing a good concert experience. At one point in time, they asked the crowd to join them on stage, while they paraded around in the pit area. Mosh pits ensued, which seemed extremely odd because this was an EDM concert. I don't feel this group has done any justice for the El Rey theater, and I don't plan on seeing them again. You're better off listening to them with headphones on at home.

Hippie Sabotage were amazing. The brothers have a crazy spirit and they really know how to make a crowd get wild. They are also two of the friendliest people ever that interact with their fans during the concert and even after. They gave out free booze and water and brought everyone on stage. Even after the concert i got to talk to them for a while. They also have a killer vibe that spreads everywhere. I have been to many many concerts, “mainstream” and “underground”, Hippie Sabotage are by far in my top 5 concerts.

Hippie Sabotage was amazing. They are so fun and really care about their fans. They get involved with the crowd and come into the audience! They are so energetic and definitely worth the time and money to see them live. I do not really listen to them, only listening to a few songs, I had the best time. It was the second best convert I have ever been to! (The first being Kendrick Lamar but no one will ever step up his concert.)

I am very happy about the show. The only negative thing was the 2 hours of delay, however stuff took care of us and provide another DJ for that time to entertain people who were waiting for Hippie Sabotage! The show was great! Plenty positive energy and free beer give away! I really liked the interaction between Hippie and the public. I would definitely recommended them, and hope they will come back to the UK really soon!

This concert was hands down one of the best I've been to. They THREW. DOWN. The vibes were amazing, everyone was pumped, dancing, jumping and singing along. They kept the energy high the entire night, interacted with the crowd, and even let the crowd get on stage and party with them at the end. I got a photo with Jeff!! I cannot wait to attend more of their concerts!! 1000+ points!!<3

Saw these guys at the WOW Hall in Eugene, Oregon.

The show was a mix of the artists shouting, and collection of their tracks played via Spotify. Both of the artists were visibly drunk and could hardly stand. Extremely sloppy show and showed little creativity.

I recommend getting drunk at home dropping Fbombs over their tracks, it'd be a more enjoyable experience.

Nicki Minaj ‘s fans found themselves waiting three hours in Montreal for her to touch down for her Pink Friday 2 World Tour.

Amid the crowd’s anticipation, Minaj made sure to inform The Barbz of what took place causing her tardiness — placing blame on the private airline that she was using.

“Yesterday my flight scheduled for midnight shut their plane down @ 12:58pm. Never in 15 years have I heard of anything like that,’ she wrote on X at 11:00 PM (April 17). “A 70K G4 and thought we were going to PAY THEM for that flight as well as whatever flight I’d have to get on next. They thought wrong. Today, we asked if we could leave at 1pm. They said no, we could leave at 3pm. Then they said that won’t work, we’d need to leave at 5pm. For a 930pm show in Canada. When we got to the plane, they then said they were “STILL FUELING”. At 630pm, they said they were “still fueling” (for an hour & a half flight).”

She went on, “They know I have a show, they know we’re 20 mins away. They know we don’t have a police escort. The sabotage be real but GOD IS REALER. I’ll be on stage in 15 mins. Barbz, I can’t wait to see you. We’re going to have a magical night. Love you. My apologies. I’m going to get to the bottom of this when I get off stage.”

Around 2:49 AM, Minaj followed up with another post assuming that Montreal held her up because they possibly thought her husband was “trying” to attend the show. She clarified that he’s actually been on tour with her the entire time.

“My husband has been on the entire tour they prob thought he was tryna come to the Montreal show. LMFAOOOOO,” she wrote. “They wanted a moment 4 life. I love being the prettiest, smartest, most talented MAIN character on earth.”

“Thank you for all this promo for the #FTCUSleezeMix tmrw. 25 SOLD OUT SHOWS God, you rlly be showing up & showing out for me. I give you all the GLORY. Lil mangy dogs,” she added.

Judge Grants Nicki Minaj’s Husband, Kenneth Petty, Permission To Travel Internationally For ‘Pink…

Petty, who’s currently on probation and house arrest, asked a judge for permission to travel out of the country with his wife “for various purposes,  including childcare ,” which, at first, had no position from the judge.

However, a judge approved Petty’s request on Tuesday (April 16).

“Defendant Kenneth Petty (‘Mr. Petty’), by and through counsel, hereby applies to the Court for an Order allowing him to travel out of the country with his family for  his wife’s tour and her professional purposes ,” the filing states. “Mr. Petty and Mrs. Petty believe Mr. Petty is necessary to accompany the family on the tour for various purposes, including childcare.”

“The Government has been notified about this application and takes no position,” it continued. “Mr. Petty’s probation officer has been notified of this application and has no objection to the travel request.”

The motion also details that upon his arrival to Europe, Petty will provide his probation officer with a travel itinerary, stay in contact with authorities, and check in with Los Angeles County once he returns.

The Pink Friday 2 international leg will hit Toronto tonight (April 18) before concluding July 12 in London.

COTA Wants Its F1 Tickets Back, Offers 'Financial Win' to Those Who Bought Early

In a strange move, Circuit of the Americas has offered a ticket buyback program ahead of announcing this year's entertainment lineup on April 29.

Last year, those who were ready to plan their October 2024 F1 weekend were able to purchase tickets for $299.

"We believe this year’s Formula One Pirelli United States Grand Prix Weekend is going to be spectacular," COTA shared on their buyback site. "So much so that we are confident in the strength of this year’s entertainment lineup - set to be announced on April 29th - that we are offering to buy back previously sold 'early bird' general admission grounds passes at a profit."

The track is set to announce the headliners for this year's United States Grand Prix, and the circuit is convinced that the name will lead to an increased number of fans wanting to book their weekend in Austin, Texas. The choice of entertainer may be polarizing to fans, and some who have bought tickets may choose to take the financial bump provided by the buy-back program.

Previous F1 weekends in Austin have brought out the likes of Elton John, P!nk, Ed Sheeran, and, back in 2016, Taylor Swift. The announcement of entertainers is set for April 29, and COTA says it will continue to buy back tickets until May 6, one week later.

"We are so excited about this year’s music headliners that we couldn’t wait to tease the good news and give our fans this unique option to make a profit," a COTA spokesperson said to Road & Track. " We hope all 'early bird' customers will want to hang on to their tickets and join us for the 2024 USGP, however our goal with this offer was a uniquely strong statement of our confidence in the entertainment programming this year."

The track's founding partner Bobby Epstein gave some additional insight into the initiative to Planet F1 .

“We’re going to put a limited amount of tickets on sale again, after that music announcement at a little bit of a higher price, Epstein said. "It’s still below where we sold tickets when we went out with GA tickets last year."

“We know, when we announce our performers for this year’s Grand Prix weekend, that those tickets are going to be worth well more than they paid."

COTA is keeping the announcement close to its chest until April 29.

"I think this is going to be perhaps the biggest since the Taylor Swift announcement," Epstein said.

General Admission ticket sales are currently frozen on the site. Last year, those who waited until closer to the race weekend paid up to $475 through the verified channels.

Every year, COTA's concerts are included in the price of every ticket, including general admission. Is the Trans-Siberian Railway expensive?

All you will experience is a week on the Trans-Siberian train and will see nothing of the cities on the way. There is, however, any amount of room for upward expansion. Everyone makes different choices about which aspects they are willing to spend money on. I personally prefer to save money on accommodation and railcar class, visit as many cities and do as many trips as possible. To enable better classification of your travel expenses I have contrasted two typical traveler types. In the third column you can calculate the total cost of your own journey on the Trans-Siberian Railway. Please keep in mind that these are only rough estimations and not exact prices.

The all-in costs seem fairly high at first. However, they cover everything and it is quite a long journey taking four weeks. Many people forget to consider that when looking at the list. We should also deduct the running costs for food and leisure at home. I think most visitors to this page will classify themselves somewhere between the two categories, that is around the € 2,000 – € 2,500 range. When comparing these prices with other travel packages, you get the impression that it is hardly worthwhile travelling individually on the Trans-Siberian Railway. Please keep in mind that most packages last no more than 14 days and you are herded like cattle through the most beautiful locations.

If you spend less time on the Trans-Siberian Railway you will, of course, pay less. I chose this particular travel length because I prefer not to do things by halves. If you fulfill your dream of travelling on the Trans-Siberian Railway, enjoy it and don’t rush things. But it’s up to you, of course. Try playing around with the form a bit to find the appropriate price for your trip.

The Bolshoi Theatre

The Bolshoi Theatre is the oldest, the most famous and popular opera and ballet theatre in Russia. The word “Bolshoi” means “big” in Russian. You can buy a ticket online in advance, 2-3 months before the date of performance on the official website . Prices for famous ballets are high: 6-8 thousand rubles for a seat in stalls. Tickets to operas are cheaper: you can get a good seat for 4-5 thousand rubles. Tickets are cheaper for daytime performances and performances on the New Stage. The New Stage is situated in the light-green building to the left of the Bolshoi's main building. The quality of operas and ballets shown on the New Stage is excellent too. However, you should pay attention that many seats of the Bolshoi’s Old and New Stages have limited visibility . If you want to see the Bolshoi’s Old Stage but all tickets are sold out, you can order a tour of the theatre. You can book such a tour on the official website.

If you want, following Russian tradition, to give flowers to the performers at the end of the show, in the Bolshoi flowers should be presented via special staff who collects these flowers in advance.

The Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre

This theatre is noteworthy. On one hand, it offers brilliant classical opera and ballet performances. On the other hand, it is an experimental venue for modern artists. The theatre has a very beautiful historic building and a stage with a good view from every seat. Tickets are twice cheaper than in the Bolshoi.

The Novaya Opera

“Novaya” means “New” in Russian. This opera house was founded in 1991 by a famous conductor Eugene Kolobov. Its repertoire has several directions: Russian and Western classics, original shows and divertissements, and operas of the 20th and 21st centuries. It is very popular with Muscovites for excellent quality of performances, a comfortable hall, a beautiful Art Nouveau building and a historic park Hermitage, which is situated right next to it. Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Center

The Opera Center has become one of the best theatrical venues in Moscow. It was founded in 2002 by great diva Galina Vishnevskaya. Nowadays its artistic director is Olga Rostropovich, daughter of Galina Vishnevskaya and her husband Mstislav Rostropovich, great cellist and conductor. Not only best young opera singers perform here, but also world music stars do; chamber and symphonic concerts, theatrical productions and musical festivals take place here. Actually, it has three concert halls placed on three different levels and having separate entrances.
