Special Adventure For Just The Two Of You
At the Los Angeles Museum of Love, we believe that love is a journey worth celebrating, and we invite you to join us on this adventure.Embark on a self-guided journey through the various stages of a relationship. Navigate through romantic discovery, confront reality, weather storms together, and embrace the continual evolution of your bond.
Explore our diverse array of over 50 activities available for you to enjoy during your visit. While your ticket grants you access for a two-hour period, early scheduling allows for extended stay.
Upon arrival, you will be presented with a memory book to keep as a cherished memento. Each activity is designed to help couples discover new insights about one another, and is often both enlightening and surprising. Each couple is taken on a connection adventure, traveling through the stages of a relationship, learning, and participating in interactive adventures and games at their own pace. You will travel through loneliness, romance, intimacy, and, yes, even a storm, but end your journey by playing games in the fun room
The museum is a celebration of human connection. A large 3000 square foot building houses various exhibits that are all interactive. The museum creates experiences that foster human connection. It is low-tech and relies on simple interaction to fuel its energy.

š£ļø The Los Angeles Museum of Love: Reviews
Fantastic experience: We had high expectations for this place, and our expectations were definitely exceeded! My boyfriend and I decided to visit this museum for our two year anniversary and it was an amazing way to bond. There are so many different activities to choose from (we did all of them)! Some activities are light-hearted, while some of them get really deep and personal. It took us about 3 hours to get through the whole thing. Itās very rare to see places actually worth the money spent, but this place was definitely worth it. The only two small complaints I have is that their phone number doesnāt work (we wanted to call and see if we could walk-in into their brother museum āCrimes of Passionā), as well as some of the white board markers being completely dried out making it unable to do the activity (only 2 activities so it wasnāt that big of a deal). Overall, I highly recommend ā itās a must-do if youāre visiting LA!
Fantastic experience: Just went to this museum this past weekend, and my boyfriend & I had a really fun and creative date night because of this place! It looks small from the outside, but they have so many activities / and different rooms set up that you can easily spend 2-3 hours here without even knowing it. Thereās parking in the back & they include refreshments in one of the rooms. The attention to detail in each activity and to the their customers was really another reason why I came to leave a review. Definitely looking to trying out the different themes they might have later this year!
Fantastic experience: Great fun has lots activities and let's you get to know your partner
Fantastic experience: Such a great experience for couples, since it's all about knowing and learning about each other I would recommend being a couple for at least six months before coming here
Fantastic experience: Loved this place! Very good for couples! Therapy without the therapist...improves communication, encourages you to engage with your partner!
Fantastic experience: Nice people work hard so you can have a good time and enjoy you evening or day
Fantastic experience: My partner and I were walk-ins and we had no idea what to expect. We thought it was a traditional museum, but this was far from it. We were there for almost 3 hours but wished we couldāve stayed longer if we didnāt need to go somewhere else after. This experience was unforgettable and we cannot wait to come back and finish some of the exercises we missed out on. I would highly recommend this place for couples in any stage of their relationship.
Fantastic experience: Great place and activities for your relationship to learn on a deeper level
Fantastic experience: my boyfriend surprised me by taking me here as a 3rd year anniversary gift on July 2nd. the receptionist was really sweet, i cannot seem to remember her name, but she was young with an anime tattoo, and we discussed our mutual admiration for anime. you guys are very lucky to have her because sheās extremely charismatic and puts you at ease. every activity you do is interesting but my favorite were definitely the board games. i dont want to say too much because you should definitely come see everything for yourself, but we were having so much fun, we spent three hours here and forgot we had previous engagement with a friend (luckily the friend understood) we realised we knew so much about each other than we thought, and it showed us how important it is to compromise. overall a really good place to go if youāre looking to put the spark back into your relationship. it certainly did mine! iām from the east coast but if i travel to los angeles again, iād like to come back.
Fantastic experience: I have to say that this place was a great experience right away, one of the owners came to greet us and let us know about their private monitored parking lot. Both owners were so friendly and helpful, the decor was so cute and eclectic, much of which was sold in their great little gift shop. My boyfriend and I came here as part of a road trip and we weren't disappointed with the experience. From beginning to end, there were so many fun and thoughtful activities that sparked some great conversation and connection for my boyfriend and I. There was a lot to choose from, I would recommend giving yourself 3-4 hours to participate in all the things you will want to do, we had a lunch planned for after so we skipped some of the games but 3 hours was enough to really try all the important things. We both had so much fun and we will definitely be back and recommend to others! I love the thoughtful way this was put together and the effect it has had on our relationship. Great interactive way to connect or reconnect. My only suggestions is that the beeping from the heart monitor machine is triggering for some, if there is any way to turn it off it would be really appreciated.
Fantastic experience: This place is amazing. Give yourself at least three to four hours if you really want to do all of the activities and enjoy the exhibits in detail. After 10 years with my partner I actually learned some interesting things and gained new perspectives and even covered some tricky topics.
Fantastic experience: I had a very insightful, amazing , deep connection at this museum . I wasnāt sure what to expect coming here but overall I thought it was a very well put together experience. I called before to see if they could do something for my girlfriends birthday. They ended up having a little gift for her in one of the rooms and she was very surprised it was such a good outcome. they really went above and beyond to make that day special for her and myself . I recommend this to any couples wanting to connect with their significant other on a deeper level . Me and my girlfriend really loved the whole experience . Thank you to Amy who was the one who helped set everything up . Edwin made this very enjoyable for us he was the one who greeted us .
Fantastic experience: Had such an amazing experience. Very interactive and surprising activities. Loved every minute of it, canāt recommend it enough. Staff was wonderful was well.
Fantastic experience: Lovely place
Fantastic experience: Wow. Absolutely loved and highly recommend. What an experience. Definitely something different and amazing customer service. Absolute pleasure!
Fantastic experience: I have so much to say about this museum. Let me just say that it was a thousand times better than expected. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place itself was very beautiful and clean. As for the experience, it was just astounding. Me and my partner got to talk about our relationship in more focused and serious setting. I thought this museum was going to be lame and cringe but actually it turned out to be the best date me and my partner went on so far. We learned so much that we have put to use in our present. My partner absolutely loved this, they were so excited. I think this museum is definitely for you and your s/o if you feel like you want something that has you focus a little bit more on your relationship. For us, it was like a check up on how we are doing with eachother. Such an amazing experience. We plan on going again for crimes of Passion. Definitely worth your money!
Fantastic experience: Really fun for a day date, spent like 4 hrs here and it flew by
Fantastic experience: Had a really great time here!! Would recommend to any couple!
Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed a light hearted approach to prompting the kinds of discussions you wouldn't necessarily have on a normal afternoon but treasure all the more because of it. Two hours flew by. Wonderful idea well executed!
Fantastic experience: A unique and wonderful experience! We both enjoyed it very much. Highly recommended
Fantastic experience: Great for couples
Fantastic experience: Normally you go to a museum, look at an artist's work and try to explore the mind or vision of that artist. Here, you are the exhibit. You explore yourself thru a self guided experience of questions, games, information, and activities to look deep into yourself and your relationship with your partner. My girlfriend and I have been together for 10 happy years and we learned a lot about each other we didn't know before. Most of it is fun and loving, some of it deep and maybe even a bit scary but in the end, we looked at each other with a new level of depth that we hadn't known before. I highly recommend this experience for all couples.
Fantastic experience: Such a fun and interactive experience. Well worth the price of admission. Will highly recommend this to friends. Thank you for the unique memories and connection with my partner!
Fantastic experience: Loved this place, it definitely prompts couples to ask questions normally not asked. Fun atmosphere
Fantastic experience: This place is amazing. I highly recommend coming with your significant other for date night or even anniversaries. The staff is super nice and welcoming. Definitely a must do.
Fantastic experience: Really fun experience! Highly recommend!
Fantastic experience: Super cute spot. The gentleman that greeted us in the beginning was very nice & informative. Lots of little activities to do in each room. Didnāt get through all but did most of them! Left with some cute souvenirs & memories to cherish with my s/o!
Fantastic experience: Great staff! Really informative and nice kept everything stocked too
Fantastic experience: This was such a cool experience! I highly recommend! 10 Stars!
Fantastic experience: Super fun date night! Interesting and interactive experience. Got to learn more about my partner. We were so into it, time flew by.
Fantastic experience: Super fun and great date night idea.. lots of photo ops & love the details, highly recommend a visit!
Fantastic experience: A preview visit to the Los Angeles Museum of Love revealed a great variety of interactive experiences for couples to explore their relationships, find out how much they really know about each other, and stimulate future discussion. It's the perfect opportunity to have fun while learning more about your partner.
Fantastic experience: Great interactive experience, full of laughter. 10/10 recommend it.
Fantastic experience: This new museum really helps you connect with your partner through a series of fun exercises and wonderful exhibits. The atmosphere of the place is so peaceful and fun at the same time. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to spend time with their significant other while learning more about each other.
Fantastic experience: A great date, very unique experience. I do not want to ruin it for you, because the surprises are what make it fun. I've never had an experience like this.
Fantastic experience: Wonderful interactive experience for couples to explore different areas of their relationship :). Briefly spoke with the lovely Amy who is a psychologist and the mastermind behind this unique experience and she mentioned that a new experience will be coming soon for Halloween!
Fantastic experience: After going through the activities as a couple you will learn so much more about each other. Great place to understand your partner much more great for date night and fun!

La Costa couple debuts āLove Tourā pop-up museum
- Show more sharing options
- Copy Link URL Copied!
Over the past decade, Ann Delaney and Kyle Hill ran a wedding supply business where they created party favors, nuptial arches and three-dimensional photo backdrops and props for wedding guestsā Instagram shots.
Now, the La Costa couple has moved beyond the nuptial ceremonies themselves to focus on re-creating the look and feel of romance in their newly opened pop-up exhibit, āMuseum of What? Love Tour.ā
The 16,000-square-foot exhibition opened on Valentineās Day evening in a former patio furniture store in the T.J. Maxx shopping center in Encinitas. Inside the building on Thursday morning, a bustling crew of mural artists and designers were putting the finishing touches on the project, which has nearly two dozen three-dimensional room stations and painted backdrops.
Delaney said the Love Tour offers visitors a G-rated, hands-on experience centered on love, romance, friendship and family.
āOver the years we found that people wanted fewer tangible things and more of an experience at their weddings,ā she said. āPeople are craving love and romance.ā
Inside the building there are places to hang written notes from a wishing tree, paddle a rowboat under a full moon backdrop, dig for seashells and scratch out love notes in an oversize sandbox, play in a giant pool of pink bubble balls, pose in front of a giant pair of feather wings and attach a lock of love to a fence before a mural of Paris.
Visitors can rake sand in a zen garden occupied by a 7-foot-tall panda sculpture, get chocolate Kisses in the Love & Kisses lounge, ride a flowered swing, pose with a dozen puppy sculptures and āwalkā a trio of fake flamingos on leashes. Thereās also a chalkboard room where they can write their wishes on the walls and a sassafras wood wall where people can ācarveā their initials with brown Sharpee pens. To engage multiple senses, many of the rooms have their own individual scents.
Although many of the exhibits are designed for adults, Delaney said several are geared for children, since she and Hill are parents themselves, with a 9-year-old son and 7-year-old daughter.
Love Tour, which is slated to move next to Orange County, is the first exhibition of the coupleās new company, The Museum of What? Delaney said she and her husband have many as-yet undisclosed ideas in the pipeline for future themed touring exhibits.
Delaney, 38, said she and her husband came up with the idea about three months ago after hearing about the success of other pop-up exhibitions, which are often little more than brightly colored interactive spaces where Instagram users can pose with oversize props in imaginatively designed rooms.
One of the most successful is the Museum of Ice Cream, which has toured the country since 2016 charging visitors $38 to āswimā in a pool of plastic sprinkles, swing on an oversize plastic ice cream bar and ride a giant circus animal cookie carousel.
Because the Love Tour moved from the idea stage to grand opening so quickly, Delaney and Hill didnāt have much time to market their new concept. They also didnāt have many photographs to share on Instagram since most of the props and scenery have been created onsite in just the past 10 days. Nonetheless, virtually all of the 3,000 tickets for this weekend are sold out.
Hill, 34, is a Marine veteran from Arkansas whose passion is creating whimsical designs. One of his favorite items in the exhibit is a ālove bug,ā a full-size Volkswagen Beetle that he painted and decorated in dark red paint and sparkle glitter.
Delaneyās background is as an artist who has sold her rustic chic artwork, ornaments and designs on Etsy and to clients including Davidās Bridal. Many of the designs and props in Love Tour were originally developed for weddings and special events.
Love Tour is on exhibit through March 15 at 220 N. El Camino Real in Encinitas. Admission is $24 for adults and $15 for children ages 3 to 12. Children 2 and under are free. Tickets are sold by timed entry, with a maximum of 200 visitors per hour to reduce wait times. The exhibit is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesdays-Sundays. Advance tickets can be purchased online at museumofwhat.com with limited sales at the door, depending on capacity.

Fun facts from our Moscow Metro Tours:
