Reba McEntire Adds a 2023 Leg to Her ‘Reba: Live in Concert’ Tour

Reba McEntire will extend her Reba: Live in Concert Tour with 14 just-announced shows in early 2023. The new batch of dates kick off March 9 in Jacksonville, Fla., and will keep the singer busy through April 15, when it wraps with a stop at New York City's Madison Square Garden. That'll be the first time that McEntire has ever played the famed venue.

The Isaacs and Terri Clark are joining the country legend as opening acts for the new string of Reba: Live in Concert shows, and McEntire says that continuing her tour — especially with longtime friends in tow — is an exciting way to kick off 2023.

“I am very grateful we’re continuing this tour on into 2023,” she says in a statement. “I’ve had so much fun being back out on the road and doing what I love to do most, entertaining people. And now getting to headline places like Madison Square Garden and bring my buddies Terri Clark and The Isaacs with me? Well, that's just the extra icing on an already triple-layered, stuffed and filled, iced and frosted cake!"

Tickets for the new Reba: Live in Concert dates go on sale on Friday (Oct. 7), but fans who've signed up for McEntire's email list will receive access to a pre-sale that begins on Tuesday (Oct. 4). Additionally, there's another pre-sale for Citi cardholders, which also begins on Tuesday.

It's been a busy fall for McEntire so far. Not only is she planning the release of a special holiday package called the  Ultimate Christmas Collection , but she's also making an appearance on the small screen  as part of the new season of ABC drama  Big Sky .

It's shaping up to be a big year for Reba McEntire . The country icon was announced as the Mega Mentor for The Voice Season 23, and in addition to that, she's extending her concert tour. This extension includes a stop that's pretty historic. In fact, you could call it a career milestone.

McEntire's 2023 tour includes a stop at New York City's Madison Square Garden; it will be her first time performing at the venue. That's surprising given her decades-long tenure in the music industry—she could've sold this venue out decades ago if she wanted! But as they say, better late than never. 

The tour includes 14 more dates, and she'll be joined by Artists  Terri Clark and The Isaacs .

Country superstar Reba McEntire is hitting the road again in 2023. The singer is extending her massively popular Reba: Live in Concert tour into next year. The 2023 leg of the tour kicks off in Jacksonville, Fla. and wraps up in April 15 at New York City's Madison Square Garden — McEntire's first time playing the legendary venue.

Special guests Terri Clark and The Isaacs will join McEntire on the road.

"I am very grateful we're continuing this tour on into 2023," McEntire said in a press statement.  "I've had so much fun being back out on the road and doing what I love to do most, entertaining people. And now getting to headline places like Madison Square Garden and bring my buddies Terri Clark and The Isaacs with me? Well, that's just the extra icing on an already triple-layered, stuffed and filled, iced and frosted cake!"

Tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 7 at 10 a.m. local time.

The multi-talented artist is currently starring on the ABC series Big Sky.

She'll also star in the upcoming Lifetime  movie The Hammer.  McEntire will portray Judge Kim Wheeler in the film, which she's also executive producing.

She'll release Reba: The Ultimate Christmas Collection  on Oct. 14.

Reba McEntire is extending her REBA: LIVE IN CONCERT tour following a string of sold-out stops on the fall leg. Reba announced today 14 additional dates set for spring of 2023, featuring special guests Terri Clark and The Isaacs. The spring run will kick off March 9 in Jacksonville and will conclude at NYC’s Madison Square Garden, marking Reba’s first time playing the iconic venue.

She just added 14 new dates to the  Reba: Live In Concert  tour for spring of next year.  Terri Clark  and  The Isaacs  will open each show.

In a press release, she said, “I’ve had so much fun being back out on the road and doing what I love to do most… entertaining people.”

The spring run will kick off March 9 in Jacksonville and will conclude at NYC’s  Madison Square Garden , marking her first time to play the iconic venue. Tickets go on sale Friday, October 7.

Reba McEntire extends tour, adds spring 2023 dates

On Monday, the country music legend announced she is extending her “Reba: Live in Concert” tour, adding 14 shows for the spring of 2023 — including a stop at Salt Lake City’s Vivint Arena on March 25. She will be accompanied on tour by country singer Terri Clark, and The Isaacs, a bluegrass Southern gospel group.

“I am very grateful we’re continuing this tour on into 2023,” McEntire said in a news release sent to the Deseret News. “I’ve had so much fun being back out on the road and doing what I love to do most, entertaining people. And now getting to headline places like Madison Square Garden and bring my buddies Terri Clark and The Isaacs with me? Well, that’s just the extra icing on an already triple-layered, stuffed and filled, iced and frosted cake!”

The spring leg of McEntire’s tour concludes at New York’s Madison Square Garden — the singer’s first time playing the venue, according to the release.

McEntire has a history with Utah, although it’s been a while since she’s performed in the state. The Country Music Hall of Famer performed at Vivint Arena (then known as the Delta Center ) in 2000, headlined the Stadium of Fire at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo in 2004, performed at USANA Amphitheatre in 2005 and again at Vivint Arena (then EnergySolutions Arena) in 2011, the Deseret News reported.

At the time, McEntire’s 2004 Stadium of Fire show was part of her first tour in three years. It led to “unprecedented interest” for the annual Stadium of Fire event, the Deseret News reported.

“She’s like the Madonna of country music. There is nothing better than Reba,” fan DeAnne Mackey told the Deseret News back then. “People love her, and they will pay to see her.”

How to get tickets to Reba McEntire tour

Tickets for McEntire’s 2023 Vivint Arena show go on sale Friday, Oct. 7, at 10 a.m. local time, according to the release.

A fan presale begins Oct. 4 at 10 a.m. local time, which can be accessed by signing up for Reba’s email list by 10:59 p.m. MT on Oct. 3 in order to receive a presale code. The code will be emailed Tuesday morning before the presale.

For its second year in Frisco, the Academy of Country Music Awards is calling in a veteran.

On Thursday morning, country music’s oldest awards show announced Reba McEntire will host the 59th ACMs on May 16 at the Ford Center at the Star. It will be McEntire’s 17th time hosting, the most of any artist.

“I am tickled to pieces to get to host,” McEntire said in a statement. “What an honor to have been part of the past, present and now the future of the Academy of Country Music.”

The country superstar’s presence at the awards extends far beyond serving as master of ceremonies. McEntire’s trophy cabinet includes 16 ACM awards for her work as the Queen of Country. She has been nominated nine times for ACM entertainer of the year, an honor she won in 1994. She also holds the distinction of being the most nominated female artist of the year at the awards.

“No one has a deeper and richer history with the Academy than Reba,” said ACM CEO Damon Whiteside in a statement of his own.

McEntire will also perform and debut new music during the show.

Viewers can stream this year’s awards live on Prime Video at 7 p.m. More than 7.7 million tuned in on the platform last year. A limited number of tickets to this year’s ACM Awards are also available for purchase on SeatGeek .

This year marks the second time the ACMs will take place at the Dallas Cowboys’ world headquarters. Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks hosted last year , riffing off each other at the 12,000-seat Ford Center.

Generations of country music royalty had been on the red carpet for about two hours when Parton and Brooks arrived, setting off cheers. It was Parton’s second consecutive year hosting the ACMs. For Brooks, it was an all-new experience.

The show was replete with nods to the Texas setting — and, more specifically, the Cowboys. Keith Urban opened with “Texas Time” before Dak Prescott gave his own introduction, telling the crowd, “Welcome to our house.”

Whiteside said in a press conference last month the venue was a surprising fit.

“Frisco really turned out to be a great home for us last year. It was something very unexpected for us,” he told reporters in a press conference last month. “But it really turned out to be fantastic.”

The awards, touted as “country music’s party of the year,” began in 1966 and debuted on television six years later. They left Southern California in 2003 for Las Vegas. They have also taken place in Nashville.

Luke Combs, Megan Moroney and Morgan Wallen are the leading nominees for this year’s awards. Combs saw eight nominations earlier this month including entertainer of the year and male artist of the year.

Reba McEntire Says She 'Can't Wait' to Host the 2024 ACM Awards: 'I Am Tickled to Pieces'

This year marks the country icon's 17th time hosting the Academy of Country Music Awards

It wouldn't be the ACM Awards without Reba McEntire !

On April 25, the Academy of Country Music, Prime Video and Dick Clark Productions announced the 69-year-old "Fancy" singer will host the 2024 ACM Awards — marking her 17th time hosting the annual awards show.

McEntire will also deliver a performance of new music during the ceremony, which will air live on May 16 at 8 p.m. ET from Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.

"I am tickled to pieces to get to host the ACM Awards for the 17th time! What an honor to have been part of the past, present and now the future of the Academy of Country Music with Amazon Prime Video," said McEntire in a statement. "I can’t wait to get to Texas and see everybody May 16th!"

The Reba star has previously won 16 ACM Awards of her own and holds the record for most nominations in the female artist of the year category.

This year's nominations were led by Morgan Wallen , Luke Combs and Megan Moroney , with the coveted entertainer of the year category featuring Wallen, Combs, Kane Brown , Jelly Roll , Cody Johnson , Chris Stapleton and Lainey Wilson .

Jelly's nomination for the night's biggest award makes him the first artist to go from having never been nominated at the ACMs to landing a spot in the entertainer of the year category since  Billy Ray Cyrus  in 1993.

"I spent my whole life just thinking that what I was doing would never be heard or seen," the "Need a Favor" singer told PEOPLE earlier this month. "I almost gave up on any dream of this thing ever being like it is now, and man, is it just incredible to be in the middle of it. I'm grateful."
