I would highly recommend the private wine tour with Jensen. He picked us up at our hotel in a Lincoln Navigator. He selected 3 wineries that fit our group beautifully!! He was very patient with us as we spent time at wine tastings and enjoying the beautiful views at each winery. He was very knowledgeable about wine and the wine country and gave us alot of information on the ride to and in between wineries. Jensen is vey personable. So if you are looking for a personalized wine tour, look no further. We also took the city tour in the open top vehicle. BEST way to tour San Francisco. Jensen gave us alot of information on the city and significant places throughout the tour. Jensen is great at reading his customers and altered our tour to include a trip across the Golden Gate bridge into the city of Sausalito. He caters to his customers and makes the experience truly personal and memorable.

Had an awesome Napa Wine Tour for my wife's 40th birthday. Jensen picked us up in SF in a Lincoln Navigator and drive us to Sonoma/Napa in style. The day was perfect. Jensen was amazing. The vineyards he picked for us were fantastic. HIGHLY recommend booking a tour with Jensen and Green Hills Tours.

10/10 would recommend this tour. We started the day at 8am with Amber. After a full day with her I can say you HAVE to come here. We visited 3 winery's, 2 that we wanted to go to, the other she recommended. I would recommend going with her recommendations since it was my favorite winery's of the day. She picked us up on time (8am, she was there early) from our hotel and we headed out the the Muir Woods. The woods are so magical with the amazing redwood trees that were HUGE. After the woods we headed to our first winery. Stagsly vineyards is a bigger winery with some great Cabernets. Their tasting room was beautiful and overlooked the massive vineyards. Next we went for lunch at Gotts. This place had some seriously delicious burgers and tacos. Everyone in my family got burgers and I got shrimp tacos that were very fresh and tasty. Their special Mexican street corn was also one of our favorites. After we went to Ambers winery recommendation that was soldero. This was a smaller boutique type vineyard. We started our tasting with a tour of the property and their new rose that will be launching in July. The rose was our favorite. We were also able to go down on the vineyard and see the plants which I thought was very cool. The staff was friendly and sat chatting with us down in their tasting room. Finally we stopped by Cuvason which had such a classy atmosphere. Beautiful indoor and outdoor tasting. They started us off with a complimentary rose champagne. After we tasted a savigon Blanc, another rose, and 2 Cabernets. Again would recommend the rose, however I still think the new one from our second stop was best. All in all we had an amazing time with amber she was a fantastic tour guide and helped us to not only learn about wine country and the Muir Woods but also new wines.

If you are looking for a unique, memorable and customized to your tastes experience in Napa and/or Sonoma - look and read no further - this is the wine tour you want! We absolutely recommend them 110% - you will not be disappointed. It is worth every penny! Like most things in life, you get what you pay for... I did a lot of research, and found that most tours, especially those who would take you to both Sonoma and Napa, are large coach buses that have a fixed set of vineyards they go to, on a fixed schedule... if you want something different, or would like to spend more or less time somewhere - well, tough luck. They also spout that they cover tasting fees - but that's a bunch of hooey - they simply take you to wineries that offer free tastings. With Green Hills, a very different experience... First of all, you are a small group in a luxury vehicle. In our case, it was just my wife and I as it turned out. Talk about personal service! Jensen picked us up at our hotel in a beautiful Lincoln Navigator, and we travelled in style and comfort all day. Jensen took the time to get to know our tastes and desires in terms of wine, and made great recommendations based on them. We enjoyed each and every one of our winery visits, signing up for a club membership at one, and picking up some favorite bottles at each. We stopped in Yountville and had a delicious lunch at Hurleys. Would you like to see a bit of San Francisco as you depart or return - not a problem. We crossed the Golden Gate on way out, and the Bay Bridge on the way back... Just fantastic! It was an absolute pleasure and a truly personalized experience. Meeting and getting to know Jensen made the day even more delightful. We hope to be back soon!

My husband and I did our first visit to Napa with Green Hill. Jenson was our driver and was absolutely amazing! He was very accommodating, provided a bottle of Mumm, and made sure everyone on our tour got to go exactly where they wanted. Unlike most tours, they allow a max of 8 people on the small group tour and will take people to different wineries instead of making everyone go to a specific winery that they may not like. Our stops included Domaine Carneros, Peju, Trinitas, and Materra ( which we joined). Jenson made 2 other stops at Cake bread and Saintsbury for 2 people in our tour. I HIGHLY recommend this company for their quality service!!!

I've been on several wine tours and they all pale in comparison to our day with Amber! My sister, mom and I had great conversation and learned quite a bit from Amber! Thanks for showing us a fabulous day, one that we will cherish for a lifetime!

This operator exceeded our expectations. A friend had arranged the tour and had the individual participants call Amber to arrange their own portion of the bill. The ease with which this happened was representative of the entire tour. Jensen met us as arranged in a very modern professional van and provided a short tour of city highlights - including the infamous Lombard Street. We stopped to see the Golden Gate Bridge before passing over it, during which time he served a wonderful cheese and fruit platter along with a sparkling wine. Nothing was too much along the way - we modified our itinerary part way through - and everything was taken in stride.

What can I say except this was a Wonderful experience!! We were on vacation with another couple from Chicago and even though we had a rental car, we wanted to enjoy Napa and not have to worry about drinking and driving. We searched the Internet for various options and stumbled upon Green Hills. What made Green Hills different from the others is that you had a smaller car and therefore made the experience much more private. Exactly what we wanted! We reserved the tour via the website and received a few confirmation emails. Aloys was our guide and picked us up in a very nice Lincoln. The car was clean and very roomy and had chilled Champagne waiting for us. Perfect! He listened to what we were looking for in the trip as well as the types of wines we preferred. Based on our likes, he planed our day. We had stops at Saintsbury (LOVE!), Pride Mountain and Peju. We also stopped and had the best meal we had during our whole trip in CA at Bistro Don Giovani. When we return to CA we will definitely be taking another Green Hills tour. Thanks for a great time!

Awful Customer Service in Handling My Reservation I must say I am extremely disappointed in how Green Hill Wine Tour handled my reservation, it was truly unexpected. My husband and I decided we would make my first trip out to Napa and were super excited about this concept of a tour with a group and opportunity to see multiple vineyards and not worry about the driving. We made the reservation, paid, got our confirmation email and thought ok good to go! Next stop Napa! With less than a week to go from our trip we get an e-mail saying that our hotel was outside their pick up radius so they could not pick us up there. My husband got back to them the next day by e-mail that we would be willing to change hotels to within the pick-up radius to do the tour along with that an automated cancellation email and refund. In addition to that the customer service emails from the company in efforts to try to work this out were just downright nasty. I would paste it in here but I doubt yelp allows swear/cuss words. In short - extremely disappointing customer service. More of concern if you think you have a reservation and plan your day around it you may soon find it cancelled on you and yourself in a last minute scramble trying to make ad-hoc reservations. I vote for avoiding this company as a whole either find another or make reservations for tours at specific vineyards.

Great experience. Highly recommend it. Customized wine tour depending on your tastes. We went to four total wineries and stopped for lunch. The wineries we went to were small and personable. As the others stated we stopped at various landmarks Aloys was extremely knowledgeable about the city, it's history and the wineries. Book Green Hills! Family owned and operated.
