Following a teaser on socials that ignited fervent excitement among fans, the legendary groups XSCAPE and SWV have reunited for The Queens of R&B Tour with support from MÝA , Total , and 702 . The Queens Of R&B Tour is a testament to the power of what can be accomplished when women come together with respect, admiration and undeniable talent. It is a celebration of passion, power, resilience and unstoppable ability to exceed expectations. The highly anticipated tour will be an unforgettable experience filled with timeless R&B music and stellar performances that are set to captivate audiences across 30 cities nationwide.

Produced by Monami Entertainment and Live Nation and represented by Seth Shomes through Day After Day Productions (DADP) the tour will kick off on June 27th in Concord, CA, at the Toyota Pavilion at Concord and continue its journey across the country, making stops at prestigious venues such as Madison Square Garden in New York City and the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. SWV and Xscape’s Queens of R&B Tour to hit MSG in July

T he hip-hop soul music era of the 1990s will be back in full swing when SWV and Xscape hit the road this summer — with stops including New York, New Jersey and Connecticut .

Both chart-topping groups — recent stars of a drama-filled Bravo reality series — will co-headline the Queens of R&B Tour, set to play 30 cities from June 27 through Aug. 18.

Grammy winner Mya , ex- Bad Boy hitmakers Total and former Motown girl group 702 will join as special guests on select dates across North America.

SWV, comprised of original members Cheryl (Coko) Gamble, Tamara (Taj) Johnson-George and Leanne (Lelee) Lyons, will return to their New York City hometown with their Madison Square Garden stop on July 24 . Tickets go on sale Friday.

In the two weeks following, they’ll also appear in Holmdel, N.J., Atlantic City, Bridgeport, Conn., Syracuse and Buffalo.

Sherri Shepherd first broke the news of the eagerly anticipated tour on her eponymous talk show ahead of Live Nation officially announcing it on Tuesday.

The concert promoter partnered with Monami Entertainment, the production company founded by Mona Scott-Young , the longtime manager of 2023 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Missy Elliott and the brainchild behind the “Love & Hip Hop” reality TV franchise.

“To announce this HERstorical tour during Women’s History Month means everything. It speaks to the power of our ability as women to overcome adversity and emerge triumphant,” Scott-Young said in Tuesday’s announcement.

This is the summer of R&B icons going on tour.

Legendary R&B groups XSCAPE and SWV are reuniting for “The Queens of R&B Tour,” which will begin on June 27 in Concord, Calif. and will wrap up on Aug. 18 in Los Angeles .

While on tour, XSCAPE and SWV will perform in New York City at Madison Square Garden on July 24 .

They are also set to perform two shows in New Jersey, with the first in Holmdel on July 25 at PNC Bank Arts Center and the second in Atlantic City at the Atlantic City Boardwalk Hall on July 27 .

MÝA, Total and 702 will join “The Queens of R&B Tour” as support.

There will be a Citi Card presale for “The Queens of R&B Tour,” which will begin on March 26 at 1 p.m. and will wrap up on March 28 at 10 p.m. through Ticketmaster . If you are a Citibank credit or debit cardholder, you can access this presale plus several other benefits .

The general sale will begin on March 29 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster .

Fans can also secure tickets on secondary market websites, such as StubHub , Vivid Seats and SeatGeek .

Escape Immerse Explore: Orlando 2023

The top escape rooms in Orlando showcase humor, inventive interaction design, and character-driven storytelling. On this escape room tour, you’ll experience a variety of styles, and some incredible one-of-a-kind escape games.

2023 Tour Dates

Sunday, November 12 – Tuesday, November 14, 2023.

The events of this tour are spread across 3 full days (or longer if you purchase one of the Premium Extension bundles… see below).

Please plan to arrive in Orlando on (or before) Saturday, November 11. We will have a welcome gathering on Saturday evening. To make sure you can participate in everything on Tuesday, we recommend planning to stay until at least Wednesday morning, or longer if you want to visit other Orlando attractions.

Note, if you leave on Tuesday evening, you will miss the wrap up event, and you might miss your last escape room. There will be limited flexibility for individuals with tight travel schedules.

When we visited Orlando a few years back, we adored the games at Doldrick’s Escape Room, and they felt like the vanguard for a new style of escape room.

Since Doldrick’s captured our imagination, we’ve seen a number of fantastic companies emerge in the Orlando escape room scene. This new wave of companies and games inspired this Escape Immerse Explore Tour. The companies that we’re featuring each have a distinctive voice and aesthetic… and a surprising number of them are funny. It’s a joyous and engaging place to play.

The Premium Extension to The Exit Games in Clearwater felt like experiment worth pursuing. In recent years, The Exit Games has emerged as one of the top escape room facilities in North America. While it is a hike to get there from Orlando, we want to take as many people as we can to play these exceptional games.

We’ve been watching the Orlando escape room scene for a long time. Doldrick’s , The Bureau , and The Escape Ventures offer unique approaches to escape room design, and all produce quality products that we know escape room players will really appreciate.

In some cases, other companies are producing fun games that aren’t quite on the same level. In other cases, it’s simply a question location and logistics. We can’t include everyone.

That said, some of the other companies in Orlando will be offering coupon codes to Escape Immerse Explore attendees.

Neighborhood Watcher at The Escape Ventures and Possession at Haddon Heights at The Bureau both won Golden Lock Awards in 2023.

We are acutely aware that some of our guests do not feel comfortable traveling to Florida or simply do not want to. We get it and hope to see you on our next Tour.

This Tour has been in the works for a long time. There are some wonderful escape room creators here that we feel are worthy of visiting and we want to support their work. If you want to discuss the selection of this Tour destination, please don’t hesitate contact us .

We will provide a bus to The Escape Ventures, as it’s located more the 30 minutes from our tour hotel.

To get to Doldrick’s and The Bureau, Uber/ taxi should suffice. You could also rent a car if you prefer.

Premium Extension: We will provide a bus to get to The Exit Games, which is over 2 hours away.

There will be a welcome event on Saturday evening, November 11. We recommend you arrive in time to stop by, pick up your welcome goodies, and meet all your teammates.

Escape rooms will start on Sunday. It is possible to have a booking as early as 10am.

Escape room bookings will end on Tuesday. It is possible to a game that ends as late at 8pm.

Following the last escape rooms, we will host a wrap up event on Tuesday evening, which is likely to go pretty late.

Please plan your travel to Orlando so that you don’t miss any tour events!

Premium Extension #1: Events will continue all day on Wednesday, November 15. The bus will return to the hotel late. Do not expect to catch a flight on Wednesday evening. Plan to depart on Thursday.

Premium Extension #2: Events will continue all day on Thursday, November 16. You will NOT have any tour games scheduled on Wednesday… but there are plenty of fun things to do in Orlando. The bus will return to the hotel late. Do not expect to catch a flight on Thursday evening. Plan to depart on Friday.

No, but we’ll choose games specifically for you. You’ll fill out a fun pre-tour survey about your escape room preferences. We’re confident you’ll play a lot of games that you’ll love.

The most popular and impressive games in the region will appear on everyone’s schedule unless you opt out of them .

You’ll find out your escape room agenda far enough in advance that you can book additional games for yourself (at discounted prices) during the rest of your time in Orlando.

If you purchase 2 tickets together, you’ll play all of your games together.

If you purchase a single ticket, you may flag 1 other person to play all of your games with. We guarantee this request will be honored… provided that you both request one another.

You may request as many people as you’d like to have on your team for at least a few games and we’ll honor these requests to the best of our ability.

Your pre-tour survey will also help us select teammates with whom we think you’ll gel.

Yes. If you’re traveling in a group, you won’t play all your games on the tour together, but we will arrange it so that you play all the same games as each other, even though you’ll play them at different times. This will simplify your scheduling for additional games outside of the tour.

In order to ensure this, you must tell us who you are traveling with in your pre-tour survey.

Not at all. Coming alone is just an opportunity to meet new friends.

We’ll put you in groups with other escape room enthusiasts from far and wide.

You’ll play all your games in a team of 4 players.

We will use the pre-tour surveys to group you with teammates whom we think you’ll enjoy playing with. On past tours, many groups loved playing together so much that they booked additional rooms together at the end of the tour.

That said, we will vary your teammates. You won’t play more than 3 games with the exact same team.

Your ticket does not cover travel or lodging. We are setting up a hotel block in a convenient location, at a great rate. Hotel block information will be emailed to ticket purchasers soon.

We will provide 1 meal as part of the tour. We will also provide snacks and water at the escape rooms and recommendations for convenient meals and local cuisine.

This tour is focused on escape rooms and does not include theme parks.

If you’re into theme parks, you can coordinate with other tour attendees to visit theme parks together before or after the tour!

It’s a good fit for you if:

• You want to play both games at The Exit Games. (Note the Pins & Needles Tattoo Parlor includes explicit language and intense scenes.)
• You want REA to put together a team for you to enjoy these games with.
• You want REA to take care of the transportation, so that you don’t need to rent a car or drive 2 hours to get to them.
• You want to add a day to your trip, and continue to let REA handle all the logistics.
• You are excited to bond with a smaller group (16 people only) and share your experiences in these games.

IAAPA is the Global Attractions Industry’s event that includes a huge expo and educational sessions. Their event overlaps with Escape Immerse Explore Orlando, which is likely a benefit for some tour attendees. If you work in the industry, you might want to extend your trip to attend IAAPA right after the tour ends.

We can’t really say. We are planning to run additional tours, but they may go to other destinations.

We just ran a Montreal tour in spring 2023. It’s too soon to say if/ when we’d run it again, but the chances are good.
