Easy to access website and identify what cruise we wanted. Subsequent conversation with member of staff clarified one or 2 matters and the booking process was straightforward. Confirmation emails have started to come through so all's well......so far.

A very helpful and patient cruise consultant

Daniel was very helpful when providing a quote for the first cruise holiday that we were interested in. He explored various alternatives to ensure that the trip suited our requirements. In the end we decided not to go with that cruise and instead contacted Dan to give us another quote on a different cruise which we accepted and duly booked it.

Outstanding service from Karena and the team

From start to finish we were well looked after and will definitely be coming back for our next cruise! Karena very patiently talked us through a lot of options for our family and ended up getting us a great deal on a Marella cruise - in fact, we met people on the cruise who'd paid over double what we had! Our son has sensory needs and struggles at the airport, Iglu managed to get us priority boarding to ensure we could get on the plane as quickly as possible, which proved invaluable.

Better than booking with P&O direct.

rather than booking with P&O direct booking with IGLU was a great step, our cruise consultant Ian Miller went to every length to ensure we had a great cabin and exceptional value for money. His expert knowledge of the product has offered us complete confidence in using them again.

Anthony was extremely helpful

Anthony was extremely helpful and customised our cruise to exactly how we wanted it. He changed the departure airport from Heathrow to Gatwick, and reduced the length of stay in the first hotel. And all for a very reasonable cost.

Demeaning abuse re . Awful experience

Told by booking agent - Stuart I didn’t know what I was talking about and that he had 20 plus years in finance industry and that he did. Stuart said I didn’t understand and that I kept interrupting him 😳😳. Supervisor / training manager (Richard) left me a very gulpy voice mail saying he heard everything ( he didn’t jump in to halt the abuse) and would call me back to apologise as it wasn’t how Iglu treated clients / he didn’t call. His colleague Ben who did try to help me said Stu was known as a bit of a nob. No one called me back to complete or apologise (£5000+ package)

Poor customer service after booking

We have a cruise booked to Alaska in July. Initially when booking they were very helpful however, after booking it is impossible to speak someone over the telephone. If you have a query you need to go through their portal which I get but when after 2 weeks you do not receive a reply it is very frustrating and for this reason alone would put me off when booking another cruise.

Fast, friendly and efficient

Fast, friendly and extremely efficient service in booking our cruise for next year. However, apparently only saved less than £2(!) by booking through Iglu than by booking direct with the Cruise Line, which really surprised me given past experience. So, may not bother next time.

We have never cruised before but the consultant Verity was very knowledgeable about cruising and offered lots of information about how everything worked and what to expect from a cruise holiday. Her help encouraged us greatly to go ahead and book.

Fabulous service

I was very impressed with the level of service and help I received from Adam today. We enjoyed cruising with Cunard some…

We enjoyed cruising with Cunard some years ago and always hoped to go again some day.We saw the Iglu advert on line and made contact .Thanks to the very knowledgeable and experienced Iglu agent we have booked and though it is some time away we are very excited.Booking was so easy and telephone and on-line communication very clear and helpful.We sincerely recommend booking with Iglu to anyone considering cruising.

After having a little trouble with an online booking we phoned IGLU who were extremely helpfull and were able to get us a better deal than was available with the cruise company direct. Freindly, curteous and very helpfull we got sorted out in no time at all and couldn't have asked for better service. Would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again in the future. Great experience booking a cruise

Just had a great experience booking a cruise with consultant Jess. I wanted 3 cabins close to each other, including one for a family with 2 children. She took time to search different decks and found exactly what we wanted. I am a regular customer with Iglu Cruise. They have plenty of consultants and I always get a quick response on the phone.

Mis-sold a holiday, be very careful when booking!

We finished work and were going out to celebrate and we get an email from Antony informing us that there is no availability and that he will check in the morning. This is after confirming several times and taking full payment.

His supervisor (Dan) was so unhelpful and we are heart broken, as we were promised a holiday and told the booking was confirmed, together with giving full payment. Dan then tried to mis-sell by saying if there is a downgrade available he will book that for us, at a similar price or more! The balcony I informed him is still showing available on the Igloo site despite Celebrity's own website not showing availability.

Agents are mis-selling holidays so be very careful when booking. Iglu agents book you to get their sales numbers up and when I asked for it to be escalated at Director level, it was refused by Dan. Will be taking this to ABTA and Trading standards to expose them.

Unfortunately, when you are told something verbally it's very hard to prove what was said. The old adage applies that if it's not written down it didn't happen. It's a real shame that you can't trust people's word, but that's the way it is. I have found that sales people will promise anything to get your money.

I've never used Iglu myself, but in my opinion many companies (and not only in the travel industry) have gone downhill in the last few years.

Just reading through these posts and I can comment upon Wee Specky Git’s cooling off period suggestion, even though it’s after the horse has bolted. This is consumer law in many territories such as in the USA it’s 72 hours, EU and UK 14 days and applies to most ‘remote’ transactions such as those done by phone, online and so forth. There may be ‘argument’ in legal terms that the buyer did try to cancel and seller acted unlawfully, so perhaps it’s not yet dead.

This I’ve copied an pasted from the UK CAB;

If you want to cancel a service you’ve arranged online, over the phone or by mail-order, you get a 14-day cooling-off period - for example, if you've booked airport parking, hired a cleaner or gardener or asked a solicitor to sell your house or a plumber to service your boiler. During the 14 days, you can cancel for any reason and get your money back.

You also get this cooling-off period if you were approached by the business somewhere away from the business’s premises and the service costs £42 or more.

Your cooling-off period begins the day after you enter a contract with the business - whether the contract's written down or if it's an oral contract.
