The Story of MINIKISS

The Fatale brothers, original creators of MiniKiss, the Hottest Littlest Band in the World…. I would like to start by saying I had the biggest love for 80s/Hair-Metal bands and my first love was Kiss, and Gene Simmons. Kiss was created in NYC and Minikiss was born in NYC. MiniKiss was born on September 1, 1996 when I was moving from one location to another. As I was putting away my Albums/Vinyl I came across my Non-Opened Alive Kiss album which to this day has the Original Lick on Tattoos and separate pictures of each member. When I looked at the album I had this huge thought of having a Little People Kiss Tribute Band. So my first gig was October 30, 1996 when a friend that I always worked for, Andy Hirsh, greatest guy and manager of a club called The Lava Lounge in New York City. Andy said to me, “I need something different this year.” So I told him about my cool idea Mini Kiss, “it’s a tribute band made up of four little people dressed up like Kiss.” His response: “Joey, that’s an awesome idea.” So I had a month to gather four guys and come up with costumes and make-up. Craig, Mike, Victor and I got all these 80’s clothes, ripped some of them up and threw some paint on our faces. It was corny but the clothes were cool. We get to the venue; have a couple of drinks before show time to loosen up. Our first show was lip-synching to a Kiss CD and playing blow-up guitars like you see at parties. We stood on top of the bar and we sung five songs from the actual Kiss CD. WE WERE A HIT!! Cops had to come because the place was mobbed, but they loved us too!! We took some pictures outside with them. It was so cool. You can see a clip of us getting ready at our first show HERE. After that show we got called from people that knew Andy who wanted us to perform for them. We didn’t even have a set or people, I would just get who was available. It just kept growing and growing in popularity. I guess it was because of the hype of being the Ultimate Band in the world. And BAM Minikiss was born. The legacy continues 27 years later.

Kiss Announce ‘Absolute Final Shows’ of Their Farewell Tour

Nearly three years after Kiss announced the final leg of what was supposed to be their final trek, the band has plotted the final final string of dates on their End of the Road Tour .

Trumpeted as “the absolute final shows of their final tour,” the farewell leg kicks off Oct. 29 in Austin, Texas and hits arenas across the U.S. and Canada before the makeup comes off — for good? — with a two-night stand at Kiss’ hometown Madison Square Garden in New York.

“Kiss was born in New York City. On 23rd Street. Half a century ago. It will be a privilege and honor to finish touring at Madison Square Garden, 10 blocks and 50 years from where we first started,” the band said of the final two gigs, Dec. 1 and 2, at the World’s Most Famous Arena.

Kiss Announces ‘Final Shows Ever,’ Capping Another Long-Winded Farewell Tour

Kiss have announced the “absolute final shows of their final tour,” a North American leg that kicks off in October and closes with two back-to-back nights at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Dec. 1 and 2.

These dates are pegged to the band’s “ End of the Road Tour,” which started in 2018 and was originally scheduled to end in 2021, but was delayed due to the pandemic. The long-winded trek is the band’s self-proclaimed final retirement send-off, though the band’s touring career has notably been extended several times following a “Farewell Tour” in 2000.

The long-running rock band has also booked a set of 2023 U.K. dates throughout the summer and mentioned it’d be their last concerts in the region. There is sure to be speculation surrounding the validity of this being Kiss’ “final shows ever,” since frontmen Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons have shown no signs of slowing down and the narrative of a “final send-off” has been regularly used by the band’s tours.

During the pandemic, Stanley told Variety , he was regularly “bike-riding 25 miles, three times a week,” to help keep in shape during the pandemic hiatus. And although he’s had several surgeries over the years, including hip replacements, Stanley said he “[feels] great and I’m good for another 50,000 miles.”

Seminal ‘70s rock group KISS is currently in the middle of their massive “End of the Road” World Tour which their official site claims is their “final tour ever.”

Although there are plenty of international concerts planned, KISS’ “final tour ever” calendar includes only seven more U.S. shows you can “Rock N Roll All Nite” to at the time of publication.

Three of those concerts will be huge, multi-day festivals.

They are Daytona’s Welcome To Rockville (May 19-22) with Guns N Roses, Louisville’s Louder Than Life (Sept. 22-25) with Red Hot Chili Peppers and Sacramento’s Aftershock with (Oct. 6-9) Judas Priest.

Kiss announces final tour dates ever; Gene Simmons says he will 'cry like a 9-year-old'

It really is the end of the road for Kiss .

Most likely. We think. So they say.

But this time we’ll believe Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons when they announced Wednesday on Sirius XM’s “The Howard Stern Show” that the band’s final  concerts will be Dec. 1-2 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

“We’re finishing up where we started,” Stanley told Stern, flanked by his bandmates in full makeup. “When you come to see the show, it’s awesome. … It’s clearly a kick-ass rock ‘n’ roll show. It’s everything Kiss – just amped up and ramped up. We’re giving it everything we have.”

Simmons added that he was sure he would “cry like a 9-year-old girl whose foot is being stepped on” during Kiss’ last moments on stage.

The closing location makes sense for the venerable rockers, who burst out of New York 50 years ago.

Tickets for the final dates of The End of the Road Tour will be available at 10 a.m. March 6 for a Kiss Army presale at kissonline.com/tour . The general sale begins at 10 a.m. March 10 at livenation.com.

The band’s goodbye tour kicked off in January 2019 and had been set to end at Madison Square Garden in July 2021. But COVID-19 postponements resulted in delayed dates that weren’t resumed until August 2021.

This final leg will begin Oct. 29 at the Moody Center in Austin and roll through Canada, Los Angeles, Knoxville, Baltimore and other cities before the career finale.

Despite a few personnel changes on guitar and drums throughout the years – Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer handle the respective duties on this tour – Kiss has always soldiered on.

The pioneering rockers have been lauded as much for their ingenious stage personas – Stanley remains the Starchild and Simmons, with his wicked tongue, the Demon – as their astute business acumen, selling everything from Kiss-branded lunchboxes to caskets during their five-decade career.

And, with more than 100 million albums sold worldwide, an inventory of guitar-crunching hits (“Detroit Rock City,” “Shout It Out Loud” “Calling Dr. Love,” “Lick It Up” and “Rock and Roll All Nite” among their mindlessly fun fist-pumpers) and a place in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the Kiss legacy will live on beyond their final bows.

K-pop girl group KISS OF LIFE have announced the dates for their upcoming 2024 Asia fanmeeting tour.

KISS OF LIFE will embark on their first-ever fanmeeting tour this month. It will kick off with an event in Tokyo, Japan titled ‘Hello Kissy’. It will be held on February 20 at the Tachikawa Stage Garden.

Tickets to ‘Hello Kissy’ in Tokyo are on sale now via Ticket PIA , from ¥10,000 to ¥15,000. VIP benefits for the event include an autographed poster, a group photo with the K-pop band and more.

KISS OF LIFE will also be holding a fanmeeting event in Bangkok, Thailand next month. Titled ‘Dear Kissy’, the event will take place on March 17 at the Chaengwattana Hall.

Tickets to the Bangkok fanmeeting event will go on sale February 24 at 10am local time via ThaiTicketMajor , from THB2,900 to THB5,900. Fan benefits for the show include a signed poster, access to the sound check, a group photo and more, depending on the ticket tier.

KISS OF LIFE made their debut in July 2023 with their self-titled mini-album, featuring the single ‘Shhh’. The project was later named by  NME Asia as one of the best Asian albums of the year , with the girl group being described as “the most notable new K-pop group to come out of 2023”.

‘KISS OF LIFE’ also featured the song ‘Sugarcoat’ , a solo effort by member Natty. The track was notably named one of the best K-pop songs of 2023 by  NME , with Carmen Chin saying that the song “recapture[s] the magic of ’90s R&B”.

The girl group have since released their second mini-album, titled ‘Born to be XX’. The project was led by the single ‘Bad News’ , and features the fan-favourite track ‘Nobody Knows’.

The Eras Tour setlist: This is what Taylor Swift played at her Levi's Stadium shows

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (KGO) -- Did your favorite Taylor Swift song play at her much-anticipated The Eras Tour? If you missed out on her sold-out concert or want to relive her playlist from Friday or Saturday (lucky you!), we've done the research (thanks to setlist.fm ) to find out which songs she played when she descended on the San Francisco Bay Area for two nights.

Setlist.fm is a free wiki-like service that relies on fans to fill in which songs a band or musical artist plays during their concerts.

The mega popstar performed at Levi's Stadium, at 4900 Marie P. DeBartolo Way in Santa Clara, on July 28 and July 29. Performances by HAIM and Gracie Abrams started at 6:30 p.m. each night.

In looking at the last five locations she toured - Lumen Field in Seattle, Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, and U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis - Taylor Swift's setlists have been very consistent, with her performing specific songs from each album. This is likely due to her heavy stage production, which relies on specific cues for lighting, dancers, special guests, etc.

At each stop, though, she does have a special section for surprise songs.

For Southern California Swifties, the biggest event of the year is about to take place. The Eras Tour has officially made its way to Los Angeles.

Sofi Stadium will bring in hundreds of thousands of fans to Inglewood throughout the next week. Since the start of Swift’s tour on March 17 in Glendale Arizona, her set list has stayed consistent, with only a few song swaps here and there. However, one thing that fans can count on is that each night of the Eras Tour, Swift selects two songs from her catalog to perform acoustically, one on the guitar and one on the piano. With her six Los Angeles concerts come 12 new surprise songs.

It’s an intimate moment between Swift and her fans, with rare guest appearances, where she strips down a song to just the lyrics and the chords.

So far Swift has performed 93 different surprise songs throughout her U.S. dates. After promising fans that if she messes up a song and has to restart it, it’s fair game for her to perform as a surprise song at another venue, she performed “Clean” from 1989 for a second time.

Fans have taken it upon themselves to track each of the surprise songs as they go either through making a series out of it on TikTok , creating a website or taking to social media to place bets on which songs they thing she’ll perform that evening and what their punishment will be if she does.
