Se sei a corto di idee e stai cercando un posto dove trascorrere una giornata speciale con i tuoi bambini, Safari Park è la scelta perfetta! Si tratta di uno dei safari park più conosciuti del nord Italia. La sua peculiarità sta nel fatto che potrai vedere gli animali in totale libertà seduto comodamente nella tua macchina! A un’ora di distanza da Milano, Safari Park si trova a Pombia, alle porte di Novara sul Lago Maggiore. Nasce come parco per far conoscere gli animali ai bambini e ai ragazzi, in un ambiente protetto ma in totale libertà. Oggi però Safari Park non è solo questo; offre infatti molte altre attività e aree tematiche.

Safari Park è aperto dalle 10.00 alle 18.00 tutto l’anno. L’ultimo ingresso con l’auto è alle ore 15:00. Da Aprile a Settembre è aperto tutti i giorni. Per vedere nel dettaglio le aperture e orari mese per mese ti consigliamo di visitare il sito .

Dall’1 Aprile 2023, le attrazioni del parco divertimenti sono a pagamento. Il biglietto è acquistabile in loco.

Il giro nel safari può durare dai 20 ai 40 minuti , non potendo andare veloci, vi chiediamo di rispettare i limiti di velocità imposti dal parco.

È un’area del parco dedicata ai camper che offre due diversi servizi: casette mobili e piazzola camper, il costo per una notte è di  € 30 a piazzola a notte.  Inclusi: energia elettrica, carico e scarico acque, scarico wc, docce, parco giochi bimbi.

Going on safari is an idea that excites both children and parents. The chance is offered by the Pombia Zoo Safari Park near Novara.

The park is located not far from Lake Maggiore and, within the limits of local “nature” lets you drive for kilometres across a sunny hillside where animals roam in total freedom. Fearless and curious, the park animals frequently wander up to inspect the passing columns of cars. Close contact is an everyday occurrence, especially in the first section of the park, in the herbivore area.

Ostriches, gnus, zebras, camels, dromedaries and a beautiful giraffe go about their business quite unperturbed by the fact that they are being observed by curious visitors. The ostriches in particular take every chance to roam among the lines of cars, hoping for titbits to eat. Feeding the animals is of course strictly forbidden and potentially dangerous.

As you drive up the hill you enter the realm of the immense hippopotami, followed by an area inhabited by antelopes and huge rhinos. This is followed by two carefully fenced in areas, the first inhabited by "tranquil" lions and the second by magnificent tigers. Leaving these areas and the woodland behind you, you descend to the section that contains the park’s pride and joy: a pair of superb white lions!

The way down is also populated by a variety of animals, including impressively large buffaloes. After a final glance at the monkey cage you finally reach the car park from where you can go on to visit various areas on foot. You are almost spoiled for choice: there is a reptile house, children’s amusement areas, various shops and an entertainment area with a cycle of daily shows.

The Zoo Safari Park provides a unique and fascinating experience in many ways, thanks also to the efforts of its management to develop an attractive idea in the most effective way possible.

You can also head out on an exciting voyage of discovery through an enchanting realm - Parco Natura Viva is home to over 700 different animals, featuring 180 different species. There is even a Dinosaur park featuring replicas of this primeval giants which are true to the original, and which are part of the many and varied repertoire of this contemporary zoological garden. The highlight is without a doubt the safari park which was opened in 1973. In your own car, camper, hired convertible, bus or even on a double decker you can head out on the safari tour of your life. Tall giraffes, svelte antelopes and zebras, grazing leisurely, are there for you to watch. There are mighty lions, gracious cheetahs and hyenas here too.

Experience animals in the wild, up close – in the safari park at Lake Garda

Past the Kings of the Savannah, mighty hippos and rhinos, you meet cheeky lemurs and bold monkeys, as they swing acrobatically from branch to branch. Shy meerkats observe all the goings-on from a safe distance, while giant tortoises go calmly about their business. Exotic and local birds too complete this scenic harmony with their touching song, providing a real safari feeling. Complete your expedition with a picnic together or dinner in the restaurant. Flightline Safari

• Offered daily

Age Range : Adults and children ages 8 and older only. Children ages 8 to 15 must be accompanied by a paid parent or guardian 18 years or older during the entire Flightline experience. Guests ages 16 to 17 may participate alone, but must have a parent or guardian 18 years or older present at the check-in to sign the liability waiver. All Flightline participants must complete a liability waiver, and understand and follow instructions in English, to participate in Flightline Safari.

Adult/Child Ratio:  Maximum of 3 children ages 8 to 15 per adult. 

Weight : Participants must weigh between 60 and 300 pounds and fit comfortably in the harness.

Height:   All participants must meet the minimum height requirement of 48” tall.

Footwear : Secure, closed-toed shoes are required.

Other Considerations : No alcohol may be consumed by a participant prior to taking a Flightline Safari.

Additional Considerations: Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs without assistance. Accommodations can be made with 24 hour notice minimum. Please contact Reservations Sales at 619-718-3000 for options. 

Change/Cancellation : Reservations may be changed up to 5 days before the program and will be subject to a $15 Administrative Change Fee. Less than 5 days, changes not permitted. Cancellations received 5 days before scheduled program are subject to a $25 Cancellation Fee. Less than 5 days, payment is non-refundable. 



Deluxe Flightline Safari

• $106 & up per person

Weight : Participants must weigh between 60 and 300 pounds, and fit comfortably in the harness.

The Deluxe Flightline Safari experience includes all the excitement of the original Flightline Safari, plus an extended tour through the Safari Park to view additional wildlife by Safari truck. After the tour, you'll arrive at the take-off deck, where you will “fly” approximately two-thirds of a mile over savanna habitats before landing safely near our Roar & Snore campground.

Are you ready to soar?

• 1 hour, including training session and test flight. Times vary.

Adult/Child Ratio:  Maximum of 3 children ages 8 to 15 per adult.

Soar Above It All!

Flightline Safari is the ultimate recreational experience for those looking for excitement. Secure and comfortable in your harness, you will soar as high as 130 feet above the ground, with a spectacular bird’s-eye view of rhinos, giraffes, and other wildlife in the savanna habitats below you.

The Flightline experience includes the use of safety equipment, an orientation, a brief interpretive tour, and a flight on our two zip lines. First, the Fledgling run prepares you for your ultimate Flightline experience. Once “fledged,” you will be taken by Safari truck to the final launch platform. You will experience breathtaking views of the San Diego Zoo Safari Park and its expansive savanna habitats below as you “fly” approximately two-thirds of a mile, landing safely near our Roar & Snore campground.
