Stephanie spent the first part of her life in northeast Delaware enjoying lazy summers on Rehoboth Beach, boating and fishing on the Chesapeake Bay and eating seafood any chance she could get. She attended Texas State University and earned a BA in Journalism with a special focus on Advertising and Public Relations. Stephanie enjoyed a 25-year career in the hotel business where her passion for seeing the world grew stronger every year. Stephanie visited New Orleans in 1998 and never left. Today she resides with her family in Mandeville and loves her life in Louisiana. Stephanie is a Luxury Travel Advisor who uses her past experiences and current interests to cater to her clients’ wishes. She leverages many of her relationships in the hotel industry to better serve her clients in planning their journeys.

Travel has always been an important part of Stephanie Miller Murphy’s life. Kentucky doctor admits trying to hire someone to kill her husband over custody battle

A Kentucky doctor has admitted trying to hire someone to kill her ex-husband, who had battled her in court for custody of their two children.

Stephanie M. Russell, 53, pleaded guilty Monday in federal court to one charge of causing a person to travel across state lines in the murder-for-hire plot, and one charge of aiding and abetting interstate stalking, according to a news release from the U.S. Justice Department.

According to her plea, Russell, a Louisville pediatrician, began asking employees at her office in July 2021 if they knew anyone who would be willing to kill her ex-husband, identified in the plea only as R.C.

Someone contacted the FBI about the solicitations. As part of the investigation, a witness gave Russell a number to contact a purported killer from the Chicago area.

The man was actually an undercover FBI agent, who recorded conversations with Russell.

The plea agreement included an excerpt from one conversation:

Hitman: Obviously you want (R.C.) killed, right, . . . ?

Russell: I want him to be completely gone from my life, yes . . . .

Hitman: Well I mean that can be in the Bahamas, but I don’t think we’re talking a vacation away. I think we’re talking in the ground.

Russell: I mean, do you like, do they disappear? Do you like shoot them on the road? Like what happens? Or should I just not know?

Hitman: It really depends on, I mean, price dictates. That’s just how that goes. The more work I got to do, the more it’s going to cost you, but it could be, do you want it to look like a suicide? Do you want it to . . .

Russell: Yes, that would be amazing.

Russell agreed to pay the contract killer $7,000, and left half the money in a specimen box outside her office for him to pick up on May 18, 2022.

The FBI arrested her the next day.

The stalking charge Russell pleaded guilty to involved a scheme to try to intimidate R.C. in 2018 and 2019.

Russell got another person to take a number of actions to harass R.C., including posing as a Louisville television reporter pursuing a derogatory story about him.

The harassment also included leaving flyers that included R.C.’s photo and allegations of misconduct about him on cars at his office, according to the plea agreement.

According to the court record, during the custody fight Russell made multiple allegations that R.C. was physically or sexually abusing their children.

However, a judge in state court ruled that R.C. had not committed any acts of abuse, but rather that Russell had made up the allegations and then used the children to try to make R.C. look bad, according to a motion from prosecutors.

The state judge awarded R.C. sole custody, according to the motion.

Russell faces up to 15 years in prison. She is scheduled to be sentenced in July.

NV obtains new photos and videos of the elimination of traitorous ex-MP Ilya Kyva near Moscow

Photos and videos of the elimination of pro-Russian ex-MP Ilya Kyva in a Moscow suburb were obtained by NV from sources in Ukraine’s SBU Security Service on Dec. 11.

This special operation was meticulously planned and successfully executed, the SBU informant confirmed.

In one imgae, Kyva's lifeless body can be seen in the snow surrounded by bloodstains. The location where “deserved punishment awaited the traitor” is near the place that Kyva filmed many anti-Ukrainian videos, sources say.

Kyva was a high-priority target, SBU said. His daily routines, movements, and habits were extensively studied in the operation. Despite strong security, the SBU managed to eliminate him just outside Moscow.

“This [Kyva’s elimination] serves as a signal to all traitors and military criminals who have sided with the enemy. Remember: Russia will not protect you. Death is the only prospect awaiting enemies of Ukraine,” SBU Chief Vasyl Malyuk said.

Ukraine’s SBU eliminated Kyva in a special operation in Moscow Oblast on Dec. 6, said NV sources in the intelligence service.

Kyva's “bloodied body”, discovered with a shot through the head, was found in the park of an elite club hotel in the Moscow region on Dec.6, Russian propaganda Telegram channels reported.

Kyva was shot with an unidentified firearm and died from the injuries on the scene, the Russian Investigative Committee claimed.

Kyva had fled to Spain ahead of Russia’s full-scale invasion. He then appeared in Russian propaganda broadcasts in Moscow, actively spreading lies about Ukraine. Kyva also sought “political asylum” and citizenship from the enemy aggressor.

The Ukrainian parliament stripped Kyva of his MP status in March 2022, charging him with treason. He was additionally charged with publicly calling for a violent change in the constitutional order and propaganda on behalf of the aggressor state in Aug. 2023.

If you’re in a social media position, it’s because you’ve showcased your instincts in this space were right. Instead of instantly getting caught up in all the trends, trust your social media intuition. The best data and strategy come from your instincts in action. Don’t just rely on the atmosphere on social or your data analytics—trust your gut. If you believe it’ll work, try it out.

Stephanie L. Smith, Social Media Manager at NASA

Explaining in plain English what’s new with America’s space program (and why it matters) is what Stephanie L. Smith does. She oversees NASA’s flagship social media team, which has conversations with the public and the media about all of the agency’s activities, from astronauts to X-ray telescopes and back again.  

1. Vital Today : Surprise and Delight

When you have an idea and your entire team is excited about it, there’s probably something there. Get creative about avenues you can take to reach different communities on social. Bring in talent that deeply resonates and dialogue with them to get their audience to tune in. Don’t be afraid to slide in comments and engage your brand in pop culture moments. Keep your audience’s head on a swivel—use references and inside jokes relevant to the platform and non-traditional for your brand.

2. Vital Forever : It’s a Conversation

Social media is a conversation, it’s not a broadcast medium. Listen closely to online communities, understand their opinions and create opportunities for them to ask questions. Find out what people are excited about online and engage. Create channels for interactive Q&As to connect meaningfully. 

3. Vital Never : Inaccessible Content

Design and create with accessibility in mind. Use alt text with clear image descriptions. Add captions in visual content. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Don’t let that stand in the way of the good. It’s critical to create with everyone in mind, considering accommodations that can be made for every kind of user.

On social media, brands ask a lot of their community, from liking the post to commenting and sharing. Flip the script; create social media strategies by thinking about how you can be of service to your community. Think about unique ways to show up for them and make them feel seen, heard, and valued. Foster a relationship with your audience and understand how you can provide value. Create meaningful content that reflects your audience and meets them halfway.  

3. Vital Ne ver : Tracking the Competition

Yes, it’s important to keep your finger on the pulse of innovation. But that doesn’t have to rob your team of your originality or creativity. Instead of contending with the competition, stay focused, tune out the noise and strategize your next move. Make sure your social team has a firm foundation on your brand’s missions, vision and values.
