January 28, 2021 at 2 to 3 p.m. Join the PHP 519 Self-Care 2 course to learn from our guest speaker, Dr. Nardine Nakhla, Clinical Lecturer, from the University of Waterloo School of Pharmacy. Dr. Nakhla and Dr. Orr have partnered to teach classes about differences in the practice and regulation of nonprescription medications between the United States and Canada.This lecture will focus on the understanding of the Canadian drug scheduling system.

New Student Orientation We are so happy to welcome you and your family to the University of Rhode Island community! Registration for Summer 2023 First-Year and Transfer Orientation is open! Sessions take place throughout the month of June. We also offer virtual International sessions in June and August to help international undergraduates prepare for their Orientation and Welcome Week events.
