I would love some feedback or recommendations of how to complete my planning and/or make this trip better. We both like playing slots and staying at nice places with great views and having nice dinner meals. My wife also likes shopping at mid-level stores.

So far, we are spending our first night at Circa in a Sunset View room and going to the mob museum, container park, and doing Old Vegas (my wife is still getting great offers here with lots of food comp money).

Our second morning is a spa day at Southpoint. Then we are checking into the Cosmopolitan with a corner terrace fountain view room for 3 nights. We have never stayed here and normally stay at the Wynn , but they cut off all my good offers because I haven't been back in a while.

The first night I have us eating at Scarpetta for sunset dinner. Then having a nice breakfast at Mon Ami Terrace the next morning . Then that night I have the Jimmy Kimmel Comedy club booked. No dinner or other plans.

The final day, I would like to go and play breakfast slots at Encore and we have the Sphere Experience at 4:30 PM. We will probably go over to FB after Encore and try to hang in that North Strip area until the Sphere thing. We have no dinner plans.

If anyone has any good romantic recommendations or restaurant ideas, I would appreciate the feedback and help planning. I had thought about the canal boats but last time we were there it looked kind of cheesy and not romantic as everyone is staring at you, but open to opinions. We also did the Strat dinner and drinks up top for our 18-year anniversary and don't want to do that again.

If you don't mind going off strip for another dinner, I'd look into hitting Cucina Vetri at the top of the Palms. Great views and atmosphere. Food is great too.

I'm sure you'll get a ton of other recommendations as the Aria through Bellagio corridor have a ton of great dinner options, but these are a couple options that you may not get otherwise - one that's an experience and the other for a great view that people don't talk about much.

Sounds like a great trip in the making, especially that Cosmo suite.

- Fontainebleau has some nice, classy hangout spots so I think you'll enjoy it there.

- Agree about the canal boats, to each their own but I'd feel silly, lol

- Is there a reason you're going to South Point for the spa? Is it decent? I know there are a few strip hotel spas that are well loved, so just wondered your reasons for that

It sounds to me like you already have it planned out. lol. Good for you.

I am not really a spa person but my wife loves it. We used to go to Hard Rock, now Virgin because they have an amazing co-ed couples pool where you can hang out together. They would serve you champagne and fruit, but I went to book for this trip and the price was about 30%-40% higher than it was 2 years ago. You also used to be able to get great Groupons for the services there, but not anymore.

I searched TA for co-ed spas and Southpoint had a pretty highly rated one and I read some good reviews. They have a couples massage that includes access to a couples hot tub area where you soak and visit/drink beforehand and then get the couples massage. It sounds like my wife will love it so I booked it.

At the Cosmpolitan we like to dine at Jaleo - good tapa style food

I really liked Mayfair as well, but be aware that you can't talk a lot in the show as it is quite loud so not really romantic. My dear husband quite liked this aspect of the venue lol What is quite romantic is the bar before the show as it is quite atmospheric in there.

I liked the Magician's Study as a show as it is very intimate and the Magician involves the audience in a really positive way. I had VIP tickets. I know that @fordpony on here has also gone to this show as have some others and all reviews in the forum said they also really liked it.

I did a self-guided tour of the Arts District using information on this forum and walked around and took photos and basically wandered into the restaurants and bars in the afternoon and that was really nice. There are some very cool murals there. If you wanted to document your 20 years together this would be a nice thing to do - you could take photos out there as the light is nice and the murals make great backdrops. So maybe combine with Container Park? Just an idea.

I agree on canal boats. I might feel silly doing that, but you are the best person to judge your wife's tastes.

I second Skyfall, it is lovely up there especially in the early evening. Foundation Room is also nice but can get a bit loud. Another nice sky bar is Alle Lounge on 66 in Resorts World - I know this forum hates on Resorts World but I like this bar a lot and their drinks are very good. Something else to consider is Wally's Wine in Resorts World for food as they do a nice charcuterie selection.
