PGA Tour 2K23 Patch 1.04 Available Now - Patch Notes

2K has released PGA Tour 2K23 patch 1.04 today addressing tie-breaker playoff concerns, multiplayer stability and skills being incorrectly awarded.

The people have long demanded it and now PGA Tour 2K23 has finally delivered on providing a 3-click option to hit shots. Thankfully, any concerns that these controls would turn the game into another Tiger Woods where you’re capable of striking the ball with pinpoint accuracy every time have mostly been alleviated by the balancing of the mechanic’s difficulty. After playing quite a few rounds with the 3-click system now (which will influence power, swing path, and club face angle in that order), I’ve found that it can be more challenging than you’d expect to shoot consistently good scores.

I hope this is the last crappy golf game we get from these lot! 2k23 is such a trash game it’s embarrassing! tiger woods looks horrible in the game as do the other golfers, they couldn’t even get tigers Sunday outfit right. the course designer is a sad pathetic feature, what is the point in being in partnership with the pga tour if you have this stupid feature? and why are there celebrities in the game? This is a GOLF game it should have GOLFERS!!!! trash gameplay, terrible inaccurate commentary, NO majors, lack of real courses and an awful career mode. let EA sports make golf games! go back to NBA and WWE please.

A new PGA Tour 2K23 update is on the way, which adds a new golfer among many other things. Update 1.18 has not been released yet, but will be soon. According to their discord game updates page, the update is a rather small one but adds a few goodies, and hopefully no MyCareer mode troubles .

Perhaps the most important thing coming to the update is Golfer Nelly Korda, who will be playable after the update launches. The 2o21 Women's PGA Champion makes her PGA Tour 2K debut this summer by joining the game's roster. At just 24 years old, Norda has already made waves as a professional golfer and will look to keep it that way as she tries to get #1 in World Rankings again.

Also coming to the update is the Eagle putter. It can be earned by playing the Patriot Putt-Off Challenge in Smerf. The best part – John Cena can use the eagle putter. So in case you wanted to see a floating Eagle Putter, complete the Patriot Putt-Off Challenge and use John Cena when you hit the green.

Lastly, the update improved matchmaking time for Condor & Albatross players when watching with lower tiers. Now it should be a little faster to find matches in those ranks. For the other ranks (Bogey, Par, Birdie, and Eagle) matchmaking should remain the same.

New course, apparel announced for pga tour 2k23.

2K continues to release content for its PGA Tour game as an update has brought a new course and some new apparel. Spyglass Hill Golf Course, which sits alongside the scenic Pebble Beach and is one of the host courses for the AT&T Pro-Am, is now a part of the PGA TOUR 2K23 course selection. The Spyglass Hill Online Society will begin on April 27, as players can match up with each other on the his dune-heavy and difficult course.

NBA fans will be able to snag limited time gear that will be available this Friday through May 25. This week's gear focuses on the Northwest Division as it includes the Denver Nuggets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Oklahoma City Thunder, Portland Trail Blazers and Utah Jazz. This specific gear is only available until May 4. It includes tops, shorts, hats and gloves, which are all available in the Pro Shop and can be equipped on MyPLAYERS. The Southeast Division is currently available until Thursday.

New Urban Accents have been added to the Course Designer. Those that like to customize courses now have some new items to input. These include toll booths, parking lot accessories, planters and sidewalk pieces. More content will be on the way for the game and this includes playable pro Nelly Korda.

2024 RBC Heritage prize money payouts for each PGA Tour player

It pays to play well on the PGA Tour. Just ask  this week’s winner, Scottie Scheffler .

The 27-year-old won the 2024 RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, on Monday after play was suspended for two-and-a-half hours on Sunday due to inclement weather and then later for darkness. The win is the world No. 1's fourth in his last five starts and 10th of his PGA Tour career.

Last week Scheffler won $3.6 million at the Masters and he earned another $3.6 million for his win this week in the PGA Tour's latest big-money signature event. Sahith Theegala, who finished three shots back in second, banked a hefty $2.18 million for his runner-up showing. Patrick Cantlay and Wyndham Clark, who finished T-3 at 15 under, each banked $1.18 million.

RBC Heritage: Final round suspended due to darkness, Monday finish underway at Harbour Town

Scheffler, chasing his fourth PGA TOUR win in five starts, authored a signature moment in the waning twilight Sunday, recovering from a hooked 4-iron second shot on the par-4 15th with a sorcerous wedge to 11 feet that he converted for an unlikely par to maintain a five-stroke lead over Wyndham Clark, Patrick Cantlay, J.T. Poston and Sahith Theegala.

Scheffler, chasing his fourth PGA TOUR win in five starts, stood 20 under for the tournament as the final round was suspended due to darkness at 7:45 p.m. Sunday, with nine players yet to complete the final round on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

This will be the second unscheduled Monday finish on the PGA TOUR this season and first since the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches, won by Austin Eckroat. The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, won by Wyndham Clark, was shortened to 54 holes after play was unable to be contested on Sunday and Monday.

Sunday’s play at Harbour Town was initially suspended at 4:28 p.m. due to lightning in the area. The final pairing of Scheffler and Sepp Straka had completed 11 holes at the time. Players were removed from the course, with the delay ultimately lasting 2 hours and 32 minutes before play resumed at 7 p.m.

Play was suspended at 4:28 p.m. local time, with leader Scottie Scheffler playing the 12th hole. Players were taken off the course at the time of suspension.

Scheffler began the final round at 16 under, one stroke clear of Sepp Straka, and the world No. 1 turned in 3-under 33 with a chip-in eagle at the par-5 second, a two-putt birdie at the par-5 fifth and seven pars. Scheffler stood 19 under, four strokes clear of the field at the time of delay. Seven players stood 15 under.

“We were hoping to play through this; we felt like we had another 25 minutes left of this heavy rain and were then going to get a break on the back end,” said Mark Dusbabek, the PGA TOUR’s senior director lead TV Rules & Video Analyst, on the CBS broadcast. “We had lightning unfortunately pop up 4 miles away; just suddenly caught us in, so we had to stop play for this. We’re going to see how things go here and make a decision.

"The course was not unplayable. It wasn't because of the rain. It was just because the lightning popped up."

The final round of the RBC Heritage is poised to deliver fans a fantastic finish, but that might not come without a little bit of weather late in the day.

After the first three rounds of tournament golf at Harbour Town Golf Links were accompanied by sunshine and temperatures ranging from the upper 70s into the mid-80s, Sunday could bring golfers a different challenge to navigate as the tournament comes to a close.

According to the forecast, a cold front will be slowly moving southward into the Hilton Head Island area on Sunday, increasing the chances for showers and a few thunderstorms as play gets into the early to mid-afternoon hours and continuing into the evening hours. Storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rainfall. Otherwise, Sunday morning will remain dry with temperatures warming into the mid to upper 70s before falling into the 60s late in the day. Light wind Sunday morning will increase out of the north 10-15 gusting to 20-25 mph late in the day.

The final pairing of the day, Scottie Scheffler and Sepp Straka, are set to tee off at 1:55 p.m. ET. Scheffler holds a one-stroke lead at 16-under.
