Really nice stay, the sea view from the pool is really stunning, that is what makes the place beautiful. House close to good restaurants and beaches.

We had the most amazing time in this villa! The villa and surroundings are exactly as seen in the photos and even exceeded the high expectations we had going into our holiday. Perfect location even perfect sea views! The property felt very secluded and quiet. The property was also well maintained and clean. The nearest beach, which is very close, is absolutely beautiful and was perfect for long walks, swimming, and snorkeling. The villa itself has a grand feel while still being very comfortable. It had everything you would need and more. The kitchen was fully equipped and we used the barbecue most of the time. As we went out and explored the island and beaches almost every day, the location was perfect as it put us in close proximity to everything. The agents and staff of Agni were very nice and helpful and helped us with everything during the whole process. If youd like to enjoy some peace and quiet with warm sun and beautiful waters, this is the place to go! We are already planning our next trip to Corfu and would definitely recommend Villa Persephone!

What a fab time, we had a perfect villa and even more perfect views. The villa had absolutely everything we needed and was very clean. Likewise, the outside areas were well maintained and the pool very clean. The sea views from the terrace and from the pool area were amazing, we also liked the cool sea breeze while having dinner at the terrace. We also had our meals at local tavernas in Kalami and Nissaki, we would recommend you pop in there and taste the most delicious local specialties. Lastly, thank you Agni Travel for organizing a perfect holiday. We cannot thank you enough, everything went to plan. No problems with the villa or pool, everything was excellent. Views, views, views!!! Stunning. Gorgeous pool area too, and lots of lovely places for sitting and liking at the stupendous view

I think this is best villa on island and there are many reasons for this 1. Location. It’s close to beach and road, but in the same time it’s private location and noises don’t disturb you. Beach which is located under villa has very warm water (I don’t know why, but all beaches around Corfu which we visited had cold water) 2. Very cool pool. Not too big, not too small. It’s perfect. Water warms up whole day and in evening you can enjoy pool and lights in water 3. Views. It’s stunning, the best location to see the sea, mountains. Incredible photos, photographers will like this place 4. Food. A lot of supermarkets in few minutes drive 5. Space. Villa has 2 floors with separate kitchens, can be used for 2 groups of people. It has also a lot of terraces to eat or rest. I booked more than 200 different places around 80 countries, maybe this villa doesn’t have modern design but it definitely has something cozy and made with love, so, it’s in my own Top 5 list.

Activities in kaminaki and agni.

There is little more energetic to do on a villa holiday in Agni and  Kaminaki than sunbathe, swim, or enjoy food and wine. You can hire a boat to explore in, or snorkel in the beautifully clear water. Renting a car brings the north coast into range, from bustling Kassiopi  to the small water parks of  Sidari, Corfu Town  to the south, or the winding roads and attractive villages of  Mount Pantokrator.

Beaches in Kaminaki and Agni

Kaminaki beach is on a sequestered bay hidden below—and virtually undetectable from—the main road. It has fine shingle, and lots of rocks to explore on both its little headlands. A number of our villas dot the hillside and are within easy reach of the bay. Agni ’s beach curves below a rich backdrop of cypress and eucalyptus trees and lemon and olive groves, and looks out on a bay enclosed by headlands. The beach is pristine shingle; the water limpid and crystal-clear.

Eating and drinking in Kaminaki and Agni

Agni has made a name for itself for its setting, the food of its three family-owned tavernas - all with terraces accessible from the beach and wooden jetties, and the friendliness of its people. The food and service are equally good: enjoy a leisurely lunch away from your villa, swim, watch the kids play on the beach as you sip a post-prandial brandy, or dine on the terrace and watch the light drain slowly from the sky. There is a stand alone fan in bedroom 4 & 5 Bedroom 3 (the bunk bed room) has its own bathroom with shower, sink and loo just outside across a little corridor.

There is a local gas BBQ kept in the stone gazebo at the far end of the the pool area. The terrace area that surrounds the pool provides stunning views over the olive trees down to the sea and Agni Bay village. The garden has over a 100 olive trees. There is a loggia with great views.

The Beach House Agni Details

As you take the stairs down from the main gate you come across the barbeque and pool area, the multiple outdoor lounge spots, the main entrance of the house as well as the main sea-facing terrace with a dining and sitting area that accesses both the kitchen and the living room. The tranquil beach of Yialiskari is literally only a few steps away from the villa since you only have to take a small path through the garden. You are welcome to use the snorkelling equipment, kayak and paddleboards that you will find in the house. On the right side of the beach, a private jetty is placed. Yialiskari Bay is reached only by foot or by boat and it is located between Kalami and Agni Bays both of which can be accessed through walking paths. There are many fantastic restaurants in each bay and some have boat taxi services which collect and drop off at the private jetty.

Back to the house, from the ground floor front door you enter the living room which has 3 large sliding doors giving a stunning view of Yialiskari Bay with the mainland beyond. There is an open fireplace and underfloor heating for the winter. Guests are welcome to use the house PC and printer and there is a TV and Sonos sound system. Next to the living room there is the fully equipped kitchen separated by a frosted glass sliding door if needed. It has all necessary appliances including a Nespresso machine, filter coffee machine, and supplies of coffee pods, teas and foil, food wrap, bin bags, dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll, olive oil, herbs and spices. It is spacious and bright thanks to its big French doors and windows around it, with a large kitchen counter and a breakfast table. Arrangements for food delivery from the local supermarket can be made also before your arrival. The kitchen includes an Osmosis filtered water system in the American fridge and a wine cooler. A chef and assistant are included in July and August rentals and can be arranged at additional cost at other rental times.

Exiting the kitchen, you either access the main sea- facing terrace or the living room. There is a large dining table for 12 people and sofa area, a Sonos sound system and ceiling fans for enjoying balmy evenings. Next to the living room there are two big bedrooms with superking sized beds that can be separated into twins, both with en-suite shower rooms and a private balcony. There are another two similar double bedrooms with these same characteristics on the upper floor.

The first of the two master bedrooms is on the first floor with a superking bed, a big en-suite shower room as well as an outdoor bathtub on its private terrace. The private terrace has a seating area and covered large sofa for snoozing in the late afternoon.

The second master bedroom is on the lower ground floor and it has an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub and a walk-in shower. Its balcony door leads to its own terrace with direct access to the garden and path to the swimming pool and sea. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan, a safe, a hairdryer, luxury towels, bathrobes and toiletries. The six bedrooms of this house can comfortably accommodate up to 12 persons.

In the lower ground floor you can find the laundry room, with a washing machine and a dryer. It also has a WC.

When outside you can definitely relax by the pool enjoying the tranquility and elegance of this place. The infinity pool is not on the lowest level so it looks down on the Yialiskari beach, creating the illusion that its edge reaches the horizon. It is built among olive trees that have been growing there since many years before the villa was built. Its dimensions are 12m x 5m and it uses a floatron. Even in the pool area you have the ability to surf the internet since the Wi-Fi of the house is of a wide range. There is also an outdoor shower, table tennis and sea terrace with a sofa and dining table.

Gialiskari N/E beach is a small beach near Agni and Kalami beaches.

Gialiskari is isolated and quiet, with very mild tourist development, in contrast to the other two beaches, which are crowded and particularly popular. This makes Gialiskari an ideal destination for those seeking seaside serenity away from noisy taverns and beach bars. You can easily walk from Gialiskari beach to the other two beaches via a path.

The beach is especially popular with luxury yachts.
