Guns N' Roses Announce 2023 Tour Across North America, Europe and Israel — See the Dates!

The rockers last hit North America in 2021

Guns N' Roses is hitting the road!

The rockers will embark on a lengthy tour in June that will see them play nearly 40 dates across stadiums, arenas and festivals around the world.

The band — which includes Axl Rose , 61, Duff McKagan , 59, and Slash , 57 — will kick things off in Tel Aviv, Israel on June 5 before heading to Europe for 15 concerts.

On Aug. 5, the "November Rain" rockers will head back to North America for 22 more dates before wrapping in Vancouver on Oct. 16. The band last hit North America in 2021, on its We're F'N Back! Tour.

For longtime fans, the end of each show will look a bit different, as Rose announced in December that he will no longer throw his microphone into the crowd after a fan claimed the move injured her.

"It's come to my attention that a fan may have been hurt at r show in Adelaide Australia possibly being hit by the microphone at the end of the show when I traditionally toss the mic to the fans," he wrote on Twitter.

He continued: "Having tossed the mic at the end of r show for over 30 years we always felt it was a known part of the very end of r performance that fans wanted and were aware of to have an opportunity to catch the mic. Regardless in the interest of public safety from now on we'll refrain from tossing the mic or anything to the fans during or at r performance."

Rose recently celebrated his birthday with a heartfelt Twitter message to fans that thanked them for their longtime support.

"I'm very fortunate n' privileged to have such great friends, fans n' people in my life!!" he wrote. "I'm extremely grateful for ALL the people I n' Guns n' Roses r privileged to play for n' all those we meet, know n' work with around the world!! I mean that sincerely from the bottom of my heart n' don't take anyone n' their love, friendship n' support along with any of our success for granted!!"

Presale tickets for the tour will be available on Wednesday at 10 a.m. local time, while the general on-sale begins Friday at 10 a.m. local time at gunsnroses.com .

This will be the first time the group have toured North America since the monumental We’re F’N Back! Guns N’ Roses Announce Huge 2023 World Tour

Back to prove there's no such thing as too much of a good thing, Guns N' Roses have just announced a huge 2023 world tour.

It's been seven years since Slash and Duff McKagan simultaneously rejoined the group and Guns N' Roses remain one of the biggest (and one of the most lucrative ) concert draws in the world with Axl Rose , Dizzy Reed , Richard Fortus , Frank Ferrer and Melissa Reese rounding out the lineup.

See all of the upcoming tour dates further down the page. Tickets go on sale on Feb. 24 at 10AM local time here  and look for presale tickets to be made available starting Feb. 22 at 10AM local time.

This year has already been quite notable for GN'R and Rose, especially when it comes to the  Use Your Illusion   I  hit song "November Rain." At Lisa Marie Presley 's memorial service, Rose performed a vocal and piano rendition of the track and, three weeks later, the "November Rain" YouTube video surpassed two billion views , becoming the first '90s rock song to achieve that milestone.

Rock legends Guns N' Roses have revealed headlining dates scheduled to launch this summer. The world tour dates will kick off June 5 in Tel Aviv, Israel at Park Hayarkon and continue across Europe, wrapping on July 22 in Athens, Greece. The North American leg starts on August 5 in Moncton, NB at Medavie Blue Cross Stadium, running through October 16 in Vancouver, BC at BC Place.

The new dates mark the band's first time touring North America since their We’re F’N Back! Tour in 2021. GNR's last documented performance took place on December 10, 2022 at Eden Park in Auckland, New Zealand. Check out the setlist here .

Guns N’ Roses Announce 2023 Tour

Guns N’ Roses are heading out on a multi-continental arena tour this spring. The dates kick off in Israel on June 5, encompass much of Europe, and cross over to North American in August. Check out the itinerary below.

Guns N’ Roses return to the road on a massive 2023 World Tour produced by Live Nation, headlining stadiums, festivals, and arenas throughout the summer and fall. The powerhouse rock band launch this jaunt on June 5 in Tel Aviv, Israel at Park Hayarkon and will continue across Europe through July 22, wrapping in Athens, Greece.

The band will continue onto North America, starting on Saturday, August 5 in Moncton, NB at Medavie Blue Cross Stadium, and will visit historic venues across the country such as Fenway Park in Boston, MA on August 21 and Wrigley Field in Chicago, IL on August 24. The tour concludes in Vancouver, BC at BC Place on Monday, October 16. Check out the full confirmed itinerary below.

Tickets for Guns N’ Roses 2023 World Tour be available starting with the band’s Nightrain Presale, beginning Wednesday February 22 at 10am local time. The general on-sale for all dates will start beginning Friday, February 24 at 10 AM local time via the band’s official website . Fans can also purchase VIP Packages, which may include premium tickets, VIP bar access throughout the show, invitation to the pre-show Paradise City Lounge, limited edition Guns N’ Roses VIP merchandise & more.

This will be the first time the group have toured North America since the monumental ‘We’re F’N Back! Tour’ in 2021—which also steamrolled stadiums coast-to-coast including their first headliner at Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles, CA. Meanwhile, their now-legendary ‘Not In This Lifetime… Tour (2016-2019)’ stands out as the “third-highest grossing tour of all time.”

In other big news, the cinematic music video for “November Rain” has surpassed 2 billion views , elevating it to rarified air as “one of the most-viewed rock videos of all-time.” Last year, they dropped the Use Your Illusion I & II Super Deluxe Edition Box Set . Axl Rose Superfan Carrie Underwood Will Open for Guns N’ Roses

After miraculously enticing Axl Rose to join her onstage at Stagecoach 2022 and, yet again , at her L.A. headlining concert earlier this year, Carrie Underwood will return the favor and open for Guns N’ Roses when the band plays Nashville on its summer 2023 tour . Underwood joined the entirety of GNR onstage in London last summer, and it’s a fair bet fans will see her again between Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan in Music City.

In addition to the Nashville appearance at Geodis Park, Underwood will open two Guns N’ Roses shows in Canada. The band, who mostly reunited in 2016, also announced the rest of the openers for their upcoming tour : Chrissie Hynde and the Pretenders will support on a string of dates, including a newly announced show at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, while Los Angeles rockers Dirty Honey , grunge icons Alice in Chains, and Mexican sibling trio the Warning each play select shows.

Rose last sang with Underwood onstage in Los Angeles in March on a duet of GNR’s “Welcome to the Jungle.” Along with their summer headlining tour, Guns N’ Roses will join AC/DC, Iron Maiden, and Metallica at the Power Trip Festival in Indio, California, in October.

Record Breaking Events: The Tours That Left A Mark

C ome with us and dive deep into the highest-grossing tours in the history of music. Will your favorite artist and their tours be in the top 10 among the highest-selling artists?

Highest-Grossing Tours

According to Billboard Boxscore’s recent data  as of April 20, 2023, there are few tours who really made history as the highest-grossing ones, and very few of them took place in the past three years. Moreover, all of them happened in the 21st century, although a few of the artists to deliver these tours “belong” to the 20th.

One of these is Elton John, who currently owns first place, as his tour sold over $853 million. His Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour started in 2018, and continued all the way through 2020. The tour had to stop due to Covid-19, but started again in 2022. It finally ended in Stockholm, Sweden, on July 8, 2023.

Following one of the biggest pianists and singers of the ’80s are the other great ones from the same period. U2 and their U2 360° Tour (2009-11) conquered the third position with $736 million. Between the two on the podium is Ed Sheeran with The ÷ (Divide) Tour. Predictably, Harry Styles and his Love on Tour (2021-2023 ) also has a place in the top ten with $418 million.

A note goes to the show that defined 2023 and that surely we can’t leave unmentioned. Obviously, we’re talking about Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour.

The tour, which will move out of the US soon to bring Swift’s 10 albums to Latin America, Asia, Australia and Europe, has currently hit $1.4 billion, according to concert data tracker Pollstar . Previously, CNBC and Billboard mentioned that, “Swift’s tour would gross $590 million based on 52 tour dates.” However, the result has already been proven wrong, and with the new legs of the world tour, the tour has a total of at least 106 dates, for now, which will lead to way more than the $1 billion goal.
