About Merced Travel

Merced Travel was established in 1967.

Chuck and Sue Novonty purchased the agency in 1986 to add to their existing agencies, Pegasus Travel and Edmondson's House of Travel. Their daughter, Ann Baucom, moved from the Pegasus office and took over management in 1989. Chuck and Sue retired in 2004 and Ann purchased the agency from her parents and continues to serve the Merced County residents with their travel needs. As a vacation specialist, Ann has been planning lifetime experiences and memories for over 40 years, and must say that I absolutely love my job! Education is important to me and thus I have my bachelor's degree and teaching credential. I have completed comprehensive destination training and have traveled to six of the seven continents, I specialize in Luxury Cruises, Once in a Lifetime Adventures and am a certified Viking Expert in Rivers, Oceans, and Expeditions.
