Most popular SAFARI in our program. Your chance to have an exciting 4x4 experience with on top of that to swim in the 50 shades of blue of THE BLUE LAGOON. From visiting the rugged terrain of the Akamas peninsula walking the gorge see the turtle beach and ending up in the fountain of love better known as the BLUE LAGOON.

After pick up from your accommodation we will go off-road into Akamas where we will visit following places.

• SEA CAVES  - Thalassines Spiles were till approx. 1960 seals were living. It’s a very quirky part of the coastal line where over many years the sea and wind have sculpted caves ledges and islets in a very artistic way.
• BANANA Plantation – Close to the Akamas region is the area of Paphos with most Banana Plantations. You will see from up-close what makes the Cypriot Banana so special 😉
• AVAGAS GORGE – Walk in the gorge which is well known for its 30-metre-high limestone walls. Rich vegetation and fresh springs create an atmosphere that will put you in positive mood for the rest of the day.
• LARA BAY - Well known as one of the most important breeding sites in the Mediterranean of the Green Back turtle and Caretta-Caretta.
• VIEW POINT – One of the highest points in the Region from where you have a good view over the peninsula.
• Lunch Break in Latchi.
• BATHS OF APHRODITE – the place where Aphrodite “the goddess of Love” used to come and bathe and where she took care of her eternal beauty. So, there might be some secrets to discover 😉
• BLUE LAGOON – TIME FOR SWIMMING IN THE CRISTAL CLEAR BLUE WATERS THAT NEVER STOPS TO AMAZE. YOU JUST HAVE TO GO FOR A SWIM NO DOUBT ABOUT IT.
• PICTURESQUE VILLAGES / WINERY – Drive through typical traditional villages in the wine region of Paphos with a visit to a local winery on your wat back to your accommodation.

This trip has many names, it is called amongst others JEEP AND DEEP, SURF AND TURF, EARTH AND WATER but we like to call it WHEELS & WAVES .

This unique combination of a Land Rover Jeep Safari to Akamas with a boat trip to the Blue Lagoon has all the ingredients for a good day out. With information, fun & sun.

After pick up from your accommodation we will go off-road into the Akamas region where we will visit following places.

• VIEW POINT - One of the highest points in the Region from where you have a good view over the peninsula.
• LATCHI HARBOUR – CRUISE to the BLUE LAGOON here you will embark aboard the boat for an approximate 2 ½ hour trip that will bring you straight into the amazing clear waters of the BLUE LAGOON where there will be time for swimming and relaxing.
• PICTURESQUE TRADITIONAL VILLAGES – Follow the winding roads through typical traditional villages in the wine region of Paphos on your way back to your accommodation.

New or actually the eldest most original safari in our program is Akamas Jeep Safari with a BBQ lunch as we used to in the old days and you know….”everything used to be better in the old days” 😊   It will be a relaxing fun day out, without rush, time schedules or deadlines. You will see some of the beautiful parts of the Akamas peninsula walking the gorge,  see the turtle beach and having a dip in the “fountain of love” better known as the BLUE LAGOON after which you will enjoy a Cypriot BBQ called souvla in the shade of the trees at Smygies picknick area

• BLUE LAGOON – TIME FOR RELAXING AND SWIMMING IN THE VERY INVITING CLEAR WATERS THAT SHOW 50 SHADES OF BLUE 😉
• PAPHOS FOREST – Smygies for TRADITIONAL CYPRIOT BBQ CALLED SOUVLA : We all join in to prepare lunch and will have fun & a good laugh while preparing and relaxing while eating
• PICTURESQUE VILLAGES – Typical traditional villages in the wine region of Paphos with a visit to a local winery on the way back to Paphos.

TROODOS - KYKKOS JEEP SAFARI

price  €55.00 adult -  €35.00 child Every Tuesday and Friday

Troodos safari will be one your most memorable trips on the Island taking in the breathtaking views from the highest peak of Troodos mountains and reaching some of the most remote places on the island. Our excursion will bring you to following places.

After pick up from your accommodation or agreed pick up point we take you to

• DONKEY FARM - Get up close and personal with these cute animals (RIDING is optional 7€ for 15 minutes).
• WATER DAM - see how we take care of water shortage on the Island during a quick photo stop.
• We will drive through the shades of the TROODOS FOREST on our way to the
• VENETIAN BRIDGE - Built by the Venetians (1489-1571) one of a series of bridges that where part of the old camel trail to move valuables of the Island.
• Further we go off-road onto the 11th century built KYKKOS MONASTERY which is one of the most famous and richest monasteries in Cyprus. Dedicated to the Virgin Mary, the monastery houses many treasures like one of the surviving icons ascribed to St. Luke covered in tortoiseshell and Mother-of-pearl.
• MOUNT OLYMPOS - The highest peak of the Island for a photo stop. (In winter weather permitted)
• TROODOS WATERFALLS – A visit to this small waterfall is always refreshing in summer.
• OMODOS VILLAGE - We come to this picturesque white village, where you can visit the old wine press take a look in some traditional houses and visit the monastery of the “Holy Cross”.
• WINERY – Visit to a local winery with some free wine testing, can’t say no to that 😉
• ROCK OF APHRODITE “Petra tou Roumiou” - BIRTH PLACE OF APHRODITE , the Goddess of Love. (in summer swimming stop weather & sea conditions permitted).

You will charter the entire Land Rover Jeep (max 10 passengers) with your own driver/guide who will take you on  THE TOUR BASED ON YOUR INTERESTS & LIKINGS!

You and the driver will make the itinerary for the day. Choosing a region and making stops at the various places of interest.

And of course, we can either arrange LUNCH for you or advise you where best to make a lunch break according to your tastes & diets .

We will pick you up and bring you back from your accommodation or agreed pick up point.

To attend and enjoy our tours you should have a moderate physical condition.

Regarding cancellations and no shows. We cannot accept last minute cancellations. We need 24-hour notice (before departure time of safari) unless a doctor’s medical certificate is provided deposits are not refunded.

Company reserves the right to alter prices, cancel or alter route of excursion, due to circumstances beyond their control.
