We drove from Racine ,Wi to see Jonathan McReynolds there were some other people that where going to be there but we wanted to see Jonathan more than anyone else. There was a group of four of us two of us wanted to see Jonathan and the other two had other favorites Jonathan was the 1st one to minister and he was AWESOME AMAZING POWERFUL and he sang all of my most favorite songs he ROCKED THE HOUSE FOR SURE my only complaint is he should've had more time. I'd also like to add the other two ladies that were with us are now HUGE Jonathan McReynolds fans we all agreed he was the BEST and wished he had more time... We really hope has more concerts in our area soon...

I attended the Jonathan McReynolds in Charleston,SC this past week and it was unbelievable. It was amazaing,up lifting and encouraging. The only issue was not with the artist but with the facility sound it was issues. I would attend a Jonathan McReynolds' concert again.

I like his music even more now that I've heard him in person. He has such a good voice and a good sense of humor. Now I'm even more sorry that I missed his concert in Rancho. I hope he comes to Southern California more often!

Produced by Live Nation and Undivided, the 37-city tour kicks off on June 1st at FTX Arena in Miami, FL making stops across North America in Atlanta, Toronto, Nashville, Los Angeles and more before wrapping up in Denver, CO at Ball Arena on July 31st. At the conclusion of the Kingdom Tour, a collaboration album, Kingdom , will follow featuring Maverick City Music and Kirk Franklin.

Erica Campbell  is an American Gospel singer, songwriter, talk show host and First Lady. Specializing in the urban contemporary gospel, Christian R&B and contemporary R&B genres, she started her music career in 1998 with her younger sister, Tina Campbell, as part of the group Mary Mary.

Israel Houghton  is a Grammy award-winning American Christian music recording artist, songwriter, producer, composer, worship leader and multi-instrumentalist who formed ‘Israel & New Breed,’ a music group and ministry organization that has produced gold-selling albums.

CO-HOSTED THE 2023 38th ANNUAL STELLAR GOSPEL MUSIC AWARDS”

Renowned multi-award singer-songwriter-producer and author, Jonathan McReynolds closes out 2023 on a high note. This year has been nothing but a non-stop rollercoaster ride filled with amazing highs for the Chicago native.

Last week, the GMA DOVE Awards were handed out to the best of the best in Gospel music and Jonathan McReynolds was front and center not only as presenter but also as a winner as he walked away with the “ Contemporary Gospel/Urban Recorded Song of the Year ” for his smash single, “Your World.”

This past summer, Jonathan McReynolds co-hosted the 38th Annual Stellar Gospel Awards alongside Tasha Cobbs Leonard. The evening was filled with lots of joy and excitement as his protege’ and artist signed to his own record label,  Life Room Label , multi-award winning artist, DOE, walked away with three Stellar Awards.

Earlier this year, Jonathan released his much anticipated fifth studio album, “My Truth” to rave reviews. The 12-track album still remains on top of the Billboard Magazine Gospel Charts and holding strong at #20 this week. “My Truth” delivered the powerful and former #1 Gospel song in the country, “Your World”. The song went on to hold the #1 spot for 7 consecutive weeks. “Your World” reminds the listener of God’s sovereignty – a bop, intentionally upbeat, and happy. Jonathan McReynolds shares, “ This song reflects my evolution and growth. I am not the same person I was when I wrote my first album. Now, I am secure enough to take more risks and remove any limits to my creativity. It’s God’s World, and we are just living in it! ”

With the success of the “My Truth” album, Jonathan embarked on his national headlining “My Truth Tour.” The tour became one of the most talked about tours of the spring. Jonathan would leave it all on the stage, night after night and city after city. In making sure to always give back, Jonathan partnered with Compassion International, a child sponsorship and Christian humanitarian aid organization that aims to positively influence the long-term development of children globally who live in poverty. “ I am truly thankful for the year that I have just had. I always love and appreciate “album years”, as it allows me to go into the world with a specific theme and new message to touch the fans .” “ I am already looking forward to 2024 and starting the creative process for another album ,” shares Jonathan.

As an author, McReynolds’ first book, “ Make Room: Finding Where Faith Fits ,” draws on testimonies in scripture and from personal experiences to invite readers to make room for God in every area of life. Jonathan is in the process of adding finishing touches to his sophomore book, to be released in 2024, under his new publishing deal with W. Publishing. Also in 2024, Jonathan McReynolds will add the title of Professor to his hyphenate, as he will teach a “ Christians In Culture ,” course at The Moody Theological Seminary.

ABOUT JONATHAN MCREYNOLDS What was born in his dorm room in the presence of a few friends has graduated to Christian music’s biggest stage. And Jonathan, now 33, did it with an incredible voice and a beautifully honest approach to songwriting. His EP ​​”People” debuted at #1 and has been called the believers’ soundtrack of a crazy 2020. After earning three Stellars, its single “Grace” became a record fourth #1 Billboard airplay single in a row, and “Movin’ On” featuring Mali Music garnered his first Grammy win and fourth nomination. Always endeavoring to provide excitement for the genre, he and Mali released a live joint EP “Jonny X Mali: Live in LA” and a buzzworthy tour in the second half of 2021.

His latest full-length album Make Room debuted #1 on Billboard Gospel. It has been hailed as a generational work, earning eight Stellars and two Grammy nominations. The title track “Make Room” and hit single “Not Lucky, I’m Loved” from this album, gave Jonathan his first two #1 songs on Billboard. His second album Life Music: Stage Two features another superstar fan in India. Arie remained #1 on the Billboard Gospel chart for 4 weeks.​

Jonathan starred as a judge on BET’s hit series Sunday Best for two seasons (2019, 2020) and in 2021, starred in his first movie “Favorite Son” a BET+ original.

According to the Chicago native, his albums “are about being authentic and genuine, pure and transparent. I’m direct, I’m blunt. I’m not a fan of church clichés and ‘Christian-ese’. Life Music is concerned with showing others and reminding myself how the Faith doesn’t just fit every part of life, but should frame every part of life.”

In May 2015, Jonathan attained his Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Moody Theological Seminary. He had previously His contribution to society outside of music is important to him as well. With that, he is an adjunct instructor at his alma mater Columbia College, an official contributor to Huffington Post, and the founder of Elihu Nation, a nonprofit organization that promotes wisdom and has awarded $40k in scholarships. He was recently named a new member of Mensa, an international high-IQ society, as well.

(NASHVILLE, TN) – February 17, 2023 – Today  celebrates the release of the brand-new full-length album, MY TRUTH, from GRAMMY®, Stellar Award and DOVE Award winner,  Jonathan McReynolds . MY TRUTH marks the fifth album release from the current 54 th NAACP Image Award nominee. In celebration of MY TRUTH, McReynolds will embark on an 11-city tour, kicking off in Orlando, FL on April 13 th . The MY TRUTH TOUR is in partnership with Compassion International. The 12-track album, MY TRUTH, is available wherever music is sold and streamed now.

McReynolds is excited about the impact of  MY TRUTH , which is inspired by the concept of life and seeds. Some seeds make their way and grow without much opposition. Others are thrown on the ground and trampled or thrown amongst thorns and weeds. McReynolds relates the seed to challenges and life struggles which can create anxiety and make people feel like they are being choked. In a truly transparent moment, McReynolds acknowledges that there have been times in which the anxieties of life have been overwhelming. Through My Truth, Reynolds reminds us that “life is filled with opportunities to select paths that allow us to experience it in the best way.” His choices are impacted and reaffirmed by faith and personal experiences. The spiritual strength for which McReynolds is known required him to start at ground zero and rebuild based on more simple, basic, essential, and intimate truths.

MY TRUTH was preceded by the Billboard #1 single, “ Your World ” – which spent 5 weeks at #1 on Billboard Gospel, “Your World” reminds the listener of God’s sovereignty – a bop, intentionally upbeat, and happy. The song was written to help people lift the weights that hold them down. Known for bridging the gap between contemporary church music and the music of the past, Jonathan has included African American spiritual texts and the influences of Marvin Gaye. “Your World” will have listeners up moving and enjoying the beauty of God’s creation. Jonathan McReynolds shares, “This song reflects my evolution and growth. I am not the same person I was when I wrote my first album. Now, I am secure enough to take more risks and remove any limits to my creativity. It’s God’s World, and we are just living in it!”

Jonathan has released four full length studio albums and one EP, plus an EP with Mali Music – which earned them both a GRAMMY® Award. McReynolds holds a master’s in theology from  Moody Theological Seminary  and is currently an adjunct member of the Columbia College faculty. He is also the founder of Elihu Nation , a nonprofit organization that promotes wisdom and recently awarded $30k in scholarships. He is also a member of Mensa, an international high IQ society. Jonathan starred as a judge on BET’s hit series “Sunday Best” for two seasons (2019, 2020) and in 2021, starred in his first movie “Favorite Son” a BET+ original film.

As an author, McReynolds’ first book, “ Make Room: Finding Where Faith Fits ,”  draws on testimonies in scripture and from personal experiences to invite readers to make room for God in every area of life. McReynolds emphasizes that readers make room for God in public and private, mentally and spiritually in order to experience the fullness that can come only through an authentic relationship with God. “ Make Room: Finding Where Faith Fits ”   is available now on  Amazon.com .
