Machine Gun Kelly announced the dates for his extensive “Mainstream Sellout” global arena tour on Monday (March 21), which will take the “Emo Girl” rap-rocker from Jacksonville to Louisville, Detroit to Denver and just about everywhere in-between from June 8 before heading overseas in September for a month-long string of European shows.

Along the way he’ll be surrounded by a bunch of his good friends, with special guests on the ride including Avril Lavigne, Travis Barker, Blackbear, Tripie Redd, Iann Dior, PVRIS and 44phantom opening up on select dates. MGK’s biggest swing to date and his first arena run will hit 52 buildings across North America and Europe, including a gig at the largest venue in his hometown: FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland.

The North American portion of the Live Nation-promoted tour is slated to kick off on June 8 with a gig at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, followed by shows in Houston and Dallas before moving on to a pair of dates in Florida, then swings through Atlanta, Boston, Philly, New York, Toronto, Los Angeles, Seattle, St. Louis and Indianapolis before the big finale in northern Ohio.

The 15-stop European leg is slated to kick off on Sept. 17 with a show at Lanxess Arena in Cologne, Germany, before moving on to shows in Frankfurt, Milan, Paris, London and Dublin before winding down with a gig at AFAS Live in Amsterdam on Oct. 12. Tickets for the tour in support of the upcoming Mainstream Sellout album (March 25)  — with features by Willow, Lil Wayne, Iann Dior, Young Thug, Gunna and more — go on sale beginning Friday (March 25) at 10 a.m. local time here .

Machine Gun Kelly Plots Expansive Mainstream Sellout Tour With Travis Barker, Avril Lavigne, Willow

Machine Gun Kelly is heading out on the road this summer for the Mainstream Sellout tour in support of his second full-blown pop-punk record of the same name, out March 25.

Fittingly, the rapper-turned-rocker is bolstering the already massive 52-date arena run with special guests Avril Lavigne , Travis Barker , Blackbear, Trippie Redd, Willow , Iann Dior, Pvris, and 44phantom appearing on select dates throughout North America and Europe.

The North American leg of the Mainstream Sellout tour will launch on June 8 with a show at the Moody Center in Austin and span throughout the summer with stops in Miami, Atlanta, Boston, Louisville, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Portland, Montreal, Salt Lake City, Denver, and more. The first portion of the tour will wrap on August 13 with a homecoming show at Cleveland’s FirstEnergy Stadium, the only stadium show booked on the trek.

Machine Gun Kelly will pick back up in Europe on Sept. 17 in Germany. He’ll play just over a dozen shows across Prague, Brussels, Munich, Milan, Paris, London, Dublin, and more before wrapping with a final show in Amsterdam on Oct. 12.

Ticket sales for both legs of the tour begin on Friday, March 25 at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster with the exception of MGK’s Madison Square Garden show, which will begin sales at 12 p.m. ET.

The slate of guests for the rapper’s first-ever arena tour offers up a chance for nightly onstage collaborations with Willow stepping out for the single “ Emo Girl ” and Iann Dior for “Fake Love Don’t Last,” a cut on Mainstream Sellout . Had MGK not switched up the album title, he would be promoting the Born With Horns tour, which doesn’t really have the same ring to it. But the name lives on in the matching tattoo he got with Barker before deciding to make the change.

Machine Gun Kelly Announces 2021 ‘Tickets to My Downfall’ Tour

Machine Gun Kelly is bringing his Tickets to My Downfall tour across the U.S. this fall. MGK’s return to the road will be focused around his pop-punk debut, which hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 last year.

On April 23, Machine Gun Kelly made his return to the stage in front of a full-capacity crowd in Jacksonville, Fla. The rapper and pop-punk artist played 12 songs from Tickets to My Downfall and seven from his 2019 album, Hotel Diablo . He rounded off the gig with performances of “Daywalker” and “Smoke and Drive,” along with a cover of Paramore ’s “Misery Business.”

The concert was met with controversy online, with some outraged over MGK performing a show in the midst of a pandemic. Others celebrated the MGK gig as a long-awaited return to normalcy.

Florida recently eased its COVID restrictions, despite just 24 percent of the state's population being fully vaccinated, according to  USA Facts . MGK shared video from the show, where few masks were seemingly worn:

MGK’s 2021 tour will begin Sept. 9 in Minneapolis, Minn. and run until Oct. 30 in Pittsburgh, Pa. One additional show in Cleveland, Ohio has been added for Dec. 18.

MGK recently waxed poetic about his future goals as an artist who challenges the listener. “I want to break the mold of everything I just did and piss people off all over again,” he told KROQ. “When I say, ‘Break the mould and piss people off all over again,’ I just mean make them think again; make them have a moment of, ‘This artist is so polarizing [that] I have to tune in.’"

The rapper-turned-pop-punk star’s new record is due out this Friday (March 25) following on from a string of collaborative singles – ‘Ay’ with Lil Wayne , ‘Emo Girl’ with Willow Smith and ‘maybe’ ft. Bring Me The Horizon .

At the start of June, Kelly will begin the North American leg of the ‘Mainstream Sellout’ tour, which will see him supported by Avril Lavigne , Travis Barker , WILLOW , PVRIS and more.

A UK and European tour then begins in September, running through to October and featuring a London date at Wembley Arena.

‘Mainstream Sellout’ was originally due to be called ‘Born With Horns’,  but had its name changed earlier this year . Previously, Kelly and the album’s executive producer  Travis Barker  had  both got tattoos of its original title .

The follow-up to 2020’s  ‘Tickets To My Downfall’  is  set to be “more guitar-heavy” and lyrically “deeper”, MGK said last year .

Today, Machine Gun Kelly has announced his international Mainstream Sellout Tour -- a colossal 52 arena run across North America and Europe featuring an incredible roster of special guests including Avril Lavigne, Travis Barker, blackbear, Trippie Redd, WILLOW, iann dior, PVRIS and 44phantom on select dates. The multi-platinum selling artist’s first ever arena tour will also feature a special hometown stadium performance in Cleveland, OH at FirstEnergy Stadium, the largest venue in the city. The genre-bending performer has amassed over 15.5 billion streams online and sold over 10 million album units. Full routing and details on special guests by city below.

Produced by Live Nation, the North American leg of the tour kicks off this June at Moody Center in Austin, making stops in Atlanta at the award-winning State Farm Arena on Friday, June 17 , Miami, Boston, Phoenix, Los Angeles and more before wrapping up in Cleveland at FirstEnergy Stadium on August 13th. The 15-stop European leg kicks off on September 17th at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne, making stops in Prague, Paris, London and more before wrapping up in Amsterdam at AFAS Live on October 12th.

Obwohl die beiden vorbands enorme Tonprobleme hatten, hat MGK die Bühne so extrem abgerissen. Habe ihn in 22 schon in Köln erleben dürfen. Einfach nur wow !

Die Akustik und die Nähe zur Bohne waren perfekt man hat sich wirklich gut gefühlt wenn man mgk mag. Nicht nur als extremer Fan sondern auch als normaler Fan hat man sich gefühlt als würde er direkt zu einem sprechen (in seinen Fan Kommunikationen zwischen durch) mgk als Künstler hat wirklich das Gefühl hervorgerufen als wäre man direkt zu ihm verbunden. Die crowed war absolut überragend und jeder hat jeden song mitsingen können. Alles in allem eine perfekte Show es war absolut garnichts an der Location oder den Künstler auszusetzen

The Rolling Stones Announce Opening Acts For 2024 ‘Hackney Diamonds’ Tour

Gary Clark Jr, Electric Mud, The Pretty Reckless, Joe Bonamassa, The Red Clay Strays, Tyler Childers, Ghost Hounds, Kale, Widespread Panic, Bettye Layette, The War and Treaty, and more.

The Rolling Stones have unveiled the eclectic line-up of guest artists opening for the Stones Tour ’24 Hackney Diamonds . The iconic band will be back on the road with the brand-new tour performing in 16 cities across the U.S. and Canada. While fans can expect to experience Mick, Keith and Ronnie play their most popular hits ranging from “Start Me Up,” “Gimme Shelter,” “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” “Satisfaction” as well as fan favorite deep cuts and music from their new album Hackney Diamonds, they will also have the opportunity to experience brilliant musical acts ranging in many genres to open each stadium show.

Previously announced returning guest artist, Gary Clark Jr., will open the show for the first date in Houston this Sunday on April 28 . Fellow returning guests include Ghost Hounds and  Kaleo. Ghost Hounds will perform in Atlanta on June 7, Cleveland on June 15 and lastly Vancouver on July 5. Kaleo will open the Philadelphia date on June 11.

Following The Stones’ Jazz Fest performance, they will be joined by both Electric Mud and Carin León in Glendale, The Pretty Reckless in Las Vegas and Joe Bonamassa in Seattle. The band will close out the first month on road with Lawrence in East Rutherford at MetLife Stadium for the second show date, as well as The Red Clay Strays in Foxboro. Additionally, Tyler Childers will open in Orlando, Widespread Panic in Denver, Bettye LaVette in Chicago for night one at Soldier Field and Lainey Wilson on night two.

The Stones will close out the series of dates in California with The War and Treaty opening the first night in Los Angeles at SoFi Stadium and The Linda Lindas on the second, followed by The Beaches in Santa Clara for the final stop.

Proud mom Madonna says her kids have put ‘blood, sweat and tears’ into Celebration Tour performances

Madonna is proud of her children for working hard as performers in her ongoing Celebration Tour. 

“I think what my children learned the most in this year of rehearsing and performing is that if you want to follow your dreams, you have to work hard for them,” the pop superstar, 65, said in an interview with W magazine published Wednesday. 

“And if all of them choose something different later in life, they will never forget this year of blood, sweat, and tears.”

As Madonna prepared to hit the road for the concert series — a spectacle that honors her four decades in the spotlight — she tapped her four youngest kids, David, 18, Mercy, also 18, plus 11-year-old twins Stella and Estere, to showcase their unique talents on stage. 

“Because the Celebration Tour is a retrospective of my life, I thought it made perfect sense to include all of my children still living with me in the show; they all dance and play musical instruments, and have been doing so for years,” the “Ray of Light” singer told the publication. 

“David has played guitar since he was a child. Mercy has played piano since she was 8 and she’s been classically trained most of her life. Eventually, when I adopted the twins, they started to play piano and dance as well.”

Madonna noted that there is “always an endless parade of dancing and [performing arts] teachers coming and going in our house,” so it only made sense to give her children a bigger platform to shine on the Celebration Tour.

A show highlight for the Grammy winner is when daughter Mercy accompanies her on piano during a powerful rendition of her 1993 ballad “Bad Girl.”

“I saw a strange, poetic juxtaposition of hedonism and exploration emerging into the light of Mercy, sitting stoically at her grand piano playing Chopin as she beckoned me towards her, making me think about the choices I have made in my life,” Madonna said, explaining how that specific moment came to be.

“Singing ‘Bad Girl’ was kind of my confession to her, and I felt we had an unspoken understanding of what was happening.”

Meanwhile, David duets with his mom on “Mother and Father” from her 2003 album, “American Life.” 

“‘Mother and Father’ is one of my favorite moments in the show because it gave me a chance to not only honor my mother and her memory but also to honor David’s mother and her memory,” she said of the young creative, whom she adopted from Malawi in 2006. 

“He has always wanted to sing and play guitar. He loves being on stage — this is nothing new. Much of the show is about motherhood, family, and the importance of that in my artistic life.”

As for Stella and Estere, the girls dance their hearts out when Madonna sings her 2000 smash “Don’t Tell Me,” and also during a section in the show that pays homage to ballroom and the art of vogueing. 

“While Estere was learning how to DJ, she became interested in ballroom competitions. Just by luck, one of my choreographer’s assistants, Ivy Mugler, has her own ballroom house called House of Mugler,” she says of how the two became interested in that sect of dance. 

“She started taking Estere aside during rehearsals to another room—and within a couple of weeks she was doing death drops and spins and surprising us with her ability. So, of course we had to turn that section of the show into Estere’s Ball.”

Madonna is also mom to Lourdes “Lola” Leon, 27 — whom she shares with ex Carlos Leon — and Rocco Ritchie, 23 — whom she shares with ex-husband Guy Ritchie. Her eldest have also participated in her tours, including 2012’s MDNA Tour, for which Lourdes worked in the wardrobe department while Rocco performed on stage. 

“I have always been blessed with children who are interested in music, dance and art. Starting from the top with Lola, who was not only an incredible ballet dancer and a rhythmic gymnast, she also switches to musical theater and contemporary dance,” she said. 

The eternal hitmaker acknowledged that “nothing brings [her] more happiness” than collaborating with her kids. 

“It would be boring if they were just traveling from hotel to hotel, and occasionally coming to watch the show,” she elaborated. “Of course, I am their mother so sometimes we get on each other’s nerves. We are a family of artists but we are also a family, and that’s what happens.”

The Celebration Tour’s next stop is Friday in Mexico City, followed by a final — and free — show in Rio de Janeiro on May 4.
