About Aerosmith

Celebrating their 50th anniversary, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame members Aerosmith have sold more than 150 million albums around the world, produced genre-defining music videos such as “Amazing,” “Crazy,” “Janie’s Got A Gun,” “Livin’ On The Edge,” and “Love In An Elevator,” and launched extravagant record-shattering global tours, most recently with their smash hit Las Vegas residency. The band has broken numerous boundaries, including becoming the first rock band with a massive commercially successful hip-hop collaboration with Run DMC on “Walk This Way” and the first hard rock band to appear during a Super Bowl Halftime Show with their 2001 performance, and in 1999, Aerosmith became the first band to have their own themed attraction at Disney World in Florida and later Paris with the launch of the Rock ‘N’ Roller coaster starring Aerosmith. For more information, visit Aerosmith.com .

About The Black Crowes

In 1990, when journalists were lamenting the death of rock, as cheesy pop and hair metal dominated the charts, Atlanta’s Black Crowes gave the genre a swift and much needed kick in the ass with Shake Your Money Maker . Fueled by singles “Jealous Again,” “Twice As Hard,” “She Talks To Angels,” and the break-through cover of Otis Redding’s “Hard To Handle,” the band immediately took the rock world by storm, topping Rolling Stone’s “Best New American Band Readers Poll” in late 1990. The Black Crowes went on to release eight studio and four live albums, selling in the tens of millions along the way; they sold out shows around the world; had legendary guitarist Jimmy Page join as a member; got kicked off a tour with ZZ Top for insulting the sponsor; got screwed by bad record deals; got married and divorced, fought amongst themselves and against the rest of the world. In other words, they’ve done everything a legendary rock group should do

Steven Tyler of Aerosmith

‘It’s not goodbye it’s peace out!’: Aerosmith announce farewell tour

The legendary rock band, formed in 1970, will visit 40 stops in North America as part of their Peace Out tour

This fall, the elder statesmen of rock Aerosmith will launch one final tour, the band announced on Monday.

The Peace Out tour will begin on 2 September in Philadelphia and make 40 stops across North America, including Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, Chicago, and a hometown show in Boston on New Year’s Eve. The farewell tour will wrap on 26 January in Montreal.

“It’s not goodbye it’s PEACE OUT!” the band, formed in 1970, said in a statement. “Get ready and walk this way, you’re going to get the best show of our lives.”

The farewell tour will include original frontman Steven Tyler, lead guitarist Joe Perry, guitarist Brad Whitford and bassist Tom Hamilton. The group’s founding drummer, Joey Kramer, will not be in attendance.

“While Joey Kramer remains a beloved founding member of Aerosmith, he has regrettably made the decision to sit out the currently scheduled touring dates to focus his full attention on his family and health,” the band said in a statement. “Joey’s unmistakable and legendary presence behind the drum kit will be sorely missed.”

The tour announcement comes a few months after a woman sued Tyler for sexual assault when she was a teenager in the 1970s. Julia Misley, who had spoken out publicly for years about Tyler’s treatment of her as a teenager, filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles thanks to a rule temporarily lifting the statute of limitations on sexual abuse suffered as children. Misley alleges sexual battery, sexual assault and intentional infliction of distress over a three-year period on the road with the rocker, including a coerced abortion.

Tyler has denied all allegations. Misley has since become an anti-abortion advocate in the US, citing her experience with Tyler in the context of anti-abortion campaigns, including an interview with Tucker Carlson on Fox News .

Aerosmith, inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001, has sold more than 150m albums during their more than 50-year career, won four Grammys, conducted 10 world tours and notched many Top 10 pop hits, including I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing, Walk This Way, Dream On, Jaded and What It Takes. The band recently wrapped their Las Vegas residency, Aerosmith: Deuces Are Wild, at Dolby Live at Park MGM, though a portion of the residency was canceled when Tyler voluntarily entered a rehabilitation program.

The Black Crowes will open for Aerosmith throughout the tour.

AEROSMITH Announces Rescheduled Dates For 'Peace Out' Farewell Tour

AEROSMITH   has announced the rescheduled dates for the band's "Peace Out" farewell tour.

The trek will kick off on September 20 at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where the legendary Massachusetts rockers played at the start of last year's original run, and will include a return appearance at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The 41-date tour will conclude on February 26, 2025 at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. Support on the trek will once again come from THE BLACK CROWES , who recently released their new album, "Happiness Bastards" .

AEROSMITH postponed the original "Peace Out" farewell tour dates after singer Steven Tyler suffered vocal cord damage in September 2023. The news came two weeks after AEROSMITH postponed six shows on the trek in order to allow Tyler time to recover from his injury.

When AEROSMITH announced the tour postponement, the band said in a statement: : "To our fans: Unfortunately, Steven 's vocal injury is more serious than initially thought. His doctor has confirmed that in addition to the damage to his vocal cords, he fractured his larynx which requires ongoing care.

"He is receiving the best medical treatment available to ensure his recovery is swift, but given the nature of a fracture, he is being told patience is essential. As a result, all the currently scheduled 'Peace Out' shows must be postponed to sometime in 2024, with new dates to be announced as soon as we know more."

Tyler said in an accompanying statement: "I am heartbroken to not be out there with AEROSMITH , my brothers and the incredible BLACK CROWES , rocking with the best fans in the world. I promise we will be back as soon as we can!"

AEROSMITH kicked off its "Peace Out" farewell on September 2, 2023 at the 21,000-capacity Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

AEROSMITH 's 18-song set opened with "Back In The Saddle" and included a cover of FLEETWOOD MAC 's "Stop Messin' Around" , before closing with a two-song encore of "Dream On" and "Walk This Way" .

Produced by Live Nation , the 40-date North American tour was scheduled to make stops at arenas across the U.S. and Canada, including Los Angeles's Kia Forum, New York's Madison Square Garden and Toronto's Scotiabank Arena, with a special stop in their hometown of Boston for New Year's Eve 2023.

The "Peace Out" run of dates was originally set to wrap on January 26, 2024 in Montreal. Special guests THE BLACK CROWES were joining AEROSMITH for the entire tour, which was to celebrate AEROSMITH 's five decades of music.

Prior to the launch of "Peace Out" , AEROSMITH wrapped its critically acclaimed Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM. Ahead of the residency, AEROSMITH returned to its hometown in Boston to perform a record-breaking one-off show at Fenway Park as part of the legendary band's 50th anniversary celebrations. With over 38,700 people in attendance, it was the most tickets sold to date for a show at the iconic venue.

In May 2022, AEROSMITH announced that Tyler had entered a treatment program following a relapse, prompting the band to put their Las Vegas residency on a temporary hold.

Tyler had been struggling with drug and alcohol addiction since the mid-1980s. Over the course of the last four decades, he had relapsed several times, including in the early 2000s and 2009.

Aerosmith , the Grammy-winning Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band that’s been recording and performing since the early 1970s, announced today that its farewell tour will begin in September.

The group’s 40-date run of shows, called the “Peace Out” tour, will begin Sept. 2, 2023, in Philadelphia and end in Montreal on Jan. 26, 2024. The band will play its hometown of Boston this New Year’s Eve, and perform at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Jan. 19.

In a joint statement, the band said, “It’s not goodbye it’s PEACE OUT! Get ready and walk this way, you’re going to get the best show of our lives.”

The tour, which will include special guest The Black Crowes, is designed to “celebrate the five decades of Aerosmith’s groundbreaking hits.”

The band told the Associated Press that original and longtime drummer Joey Kramer will not take part in the current dates on the upcoming tour and will continue to “focus his attention on his family and health” since their Las Vegas residency last year. Drummer John Douglas will play in his place.

The band canceled a string of dates last December during its Las Vegas residency due to an undisclosed illness of singer Steven Tyler . More recently, the singer sought dismissal of a lawsuit filed in December by a woman who alleges the Aerosmith frontman had an illicit relationship with her when she was 16 years old and he was 25.

The tour dates and ticket information can be found at the band’s website.

Aerosmith Peace Out: See the setlist for the iconic band's farewell tour

peace out tour 2023

After 50 years of touring, Aerosmith is saying "No More No More" to the road with their Peace Out tour.

At Aerosmith's kickoff show Sept. 2 in Philadelphia , the band proved it was in peak form for this victory lap, which plays arenas in North America through January.

Steven Tyler's yowl – as well as his scarf-adorned mic stand – is well-preserved, while his fellow Toxic Twin, Joe Perry, is still serving sizzling blues-rock with ease.

While original drummer Joey Kramer is sitting out the band's final tour, Brad Whitford and Tom Hamilton remain to add their handiwork on guitar and bass, respectively. John Douglas, Aerosmith's former drum tech, is filling Kramer's seat.

The band's two-hour, 18-song show is rife with '70s and '80s hits including "Love in an Elevator" and "Janie's Got a Gun." But no Aerosmith concert would be complete without standards "Dream On" and "Walk This Way," mainstays that are receiving one last hurrah.

Here is a look at the songs being performed on Aerosmith's Peace Out tour .

  • "Back in the Saddle"
  • "Love in an Elevator"
  • "Janie's Got a Gun"

  • "No More No More"
  • "Hangman Jury"
  • "Seasons of Wither"

Fun facts from our Moscow Metro Tours:

From the very first days of its existence, the Moscow Metro was the object of civil defense, used as a bomb shelter, and designed as a defense for a possible attack on the Soviet Union.

At a depth of 50 to 120 meters lies the second, the coded system of Metro-2 of Moscow subway, which is equipped with everything you need, from food storage to the nuclear button.

According to some sources, the total length of Metro-2 reaches over 150 kilometers.

The Museum was opened on Sportivnaya metro station on November 6, 1967. It features the most interesting models of trains and stations.

Coffee Ring

The first scheme of Moscow Metro looked like a bunch of separate lines. Listen to a myth about Joseph Stalin and the main brown line of Moscow Metro.

Zodiac Metro

According to some astrologers, each of the 12 stops of the Moscow Ring Line corresponds to a particular sign of the zodiac and divides the city into astrological sector.

Astrologers believe that being in a particular zadiac sector of Moscow for a long time, you attract certain energy and events into your life.

Paleontological finds

Red marble walls of some of the Metro stations hide in themselves petrified inhabitants of ancient seas. Try and find some!

  • Every day each car in  Moscow metro passes  more than 600 km, which is the distance from Moscow to St. Petersburg.
  • Moscow subway system is the  5th in the intensity  of use (after the subways of Beijing, Tokyo, Seoul and Shanghai).
  • The interval in the movement of trains in rush hour is  90 seconds .
