Only one adult in each stateroom has to be a Florida resident. When you book a Florida discount rate on Disney cruise lines you have to provide proof of residency within 48 hours of booking.

If you don’t do this the cruise will be canceled and you will be charged cancellation fees. Make sure you have your verification or this could be very costly.

Depending on when you book you could be looking at a 100% cancellation rate.

To qualify for these exclusive benefits, proof of Florida residency is required. Disney Cruise Line’s terms state that valid government issued photo identification, such as a passport, driver’s license, or state identification card, is necessary to establish residency. As a homeowner in Florida, presenting a homeowner’s license state identification card served as the perfect proof of residency.

In order to take full advantage of the Disney cruise Florida residency cruise offers, you must provide documentation within 48 hours of booking your trip. 

You must submit proof of residency by submitting one of the following: 

• Florida Driver’s License
• Florida Identification Card
• Florida-based military ID

If you are not in possession of one of the above IDs, one of the following documents must be provided. It must be within 2 months of the Disney cruise booking. You must also submit a corresponding non-expired government-issued photo ID. 

• Monthly mortgage statement
• Renter’s lease agreement
• Current automobile registration, insurance policy, or bill
• Current homeowner’s insurance policy or bill
• Current utility bill (power/phone/cable/water)
• Mail from a financial institution, including checking, savings, or investment account statements
• Mail from a federal, state, county, or city government agency

The Disney cruise for Florida residents discount is an awesome perk. In order to receive the discounts, and offers the above steps must be followed. It is also important to note the following. 

• The proper form of verification must be sent via email to [email protected] .
• Florida residency must be current at the time of booking and at the time of sailing.
• Property deeds and/or P.O. boxes are not considered acceptable proofs of residency
• If multiple staterooms are being purchased, proof of residency must be provided for 1 adult per room. 
• Failure to submit qualifying documentation will result in a cancellation, with applicable cancellation fees.

New Disney World Florida resident tickets are now available. The discounted tickets are available as a 3-Day or 4-Day ticket that can be used on select dates from April through September 2024.

If you’re a Florida resident, you have a few options for buying tickets to Disney World. There are select tiers for Disney World Annual Passes exclusive to only Florida residents, including the Pirate Pass and Pixie Dust Pass . Additionally, Disney frequently releases special Discover Disney Tickets, which allow Florida residents to visit the parks on select dates for a discounted rate. This week, Disney has released a new batch of these tickets, allowing Florida residents to visit on a 3-day or 4-day pass.

New Disney World Florida Resident Tickets

Florida residents can now purchase the 4-Day Discover Disney Ticket and the 3-Day Discover Disney Ticket. Both are valid from April 2 to September 28, 2024, subject to Park Pass availability (as a reservation will be required). The specially priced ticket is $235 for the 4-Day ticket ($59 a day) or $219 for the 3-Day ticket ($73 per day). The admission is valid for one theme park per day but can be used on consecutive or nonconsecutive days. Additionally, you have the option for discounted add-ons for your tickets, including:

• Allows you to visit more than one theme park per day
• Receive a certain number of visits to a water park, golf course, or mini-golf course. For example, if you purchase the 3-Day ticket with this option, you can visit a Disney World theme park for three days and a Disney World water park for three additional days by September 28, 2024.
• Visit more than one theme park per day, plus get a certain number of visits to a water park, golf course, or mini golf course. This combines the Park Hopper and the Water Park and Sports option.

Special Offers on Disney Cruise Line Sailings as of July 31, 2023

This week’s special offers from Disney Cruise Line include sail dates from mid-August to late-December. Currently, there are 17 sail dates, available with special offers available across most of the fleet for sailings from Fort Lauderdale, Galveston, Miami, New York, Port Canaveral, San Juan, and Southampton.

The Disney Dream maintains ship with the most sailings with 14 more than double of the remaining fleet combined. The Disney Fantasy has 4 date and the Disney Magic 2 sailing. There are special offers for the Disney Wonder or Disney Wish. Special offers include Halloween on the High Seas, and Very MerryTime voyages.

Looking closer at this week’s offerings, special rates for Florida Residents increased 1 to 2 sail dates. The US Military Personnel rate is up 5 to 13 cruises. The Canadian Resident remained at 5 sail dates.

The domestic offer for  select sailings with savings up to 30% off the prevailing rate remains available for select Bahamian and Caribbean voyages.
