O.A.R. Outline Summer 2024 Tour Dates with Fitz and The Tantrums, DJ Logic and Ripe

O.A.R. have announced an extensive summer tour. The ensemble unveiled that they will kick off the run on July 16 with an evening at Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh, N.C. After the first night on the road, they will continue to make stops across the country, with support from special guests at select locations, Fitz and The Tantrums, DJ Logic and Ripe. 

After closing out their initial night onstage, O.A.R. and their guests will travel up the East Coast, stopping in Pittsburgh, Asbury Park, N.J., Boston, and into New England, leading to their two-night stand at New York’s The Rooftop at Pier 17. Following time in the Big Apple, the group will go to the South East, stopping in Atlanta before a tight run of Lone Star State appearances. 

With Texas dates completed, O.A.R. will waste no time making their way to Phoenix, which arrives the night before their Aug. 8 stand at the storied Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Ensuing California gigs will come next, leading the band back to the country’s center for an Aug. 17 performance at Gerald R. Amphitheater in Vail, Colo., and ultimately an Aug. 18 Red Rocks stand. 

The remaining tour dates will take O.A.R. through part of the Midwest and back through the Southern states, arriving at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn., on Sept. 1. The band will follow with a few added dates before stepping away from their road commitments–eventually returning in mid-November 2024 for a string of Florida concerts.

Two of his most notable collaborations include when he sat in with O.A.R. for “The Town” and contributed to the Grateful Dead’s “China Cat Sunflower/I Know You Rider”. Logic learned his craft from his mentor Vernon Reid who he sometimes tours with under the name Yohimbe Brothers. In collaboration, they released the 2004 album The Tao of Yo .

O.A.R. Announces National Tour in Summer 2024

Alternative rock band Of A Revolution (O.A.R.) is kicking off their upcoming tour in July 2024 with 38 performance dates across the United States. Indie pop darlings Fitz and the Tantrums and dance-funk outfit Ripe will be supporting different legs of the tour. DJ Logic will be opening for all tour dates sans Utah and Florida venues.

O.A.R.’s summer tour, simply titled Summer Tour 24, will start on July 16 in Raleigh, North Carolina at the Red Hat Amphitheater and will close on November 17 in St. Augustine, Florida at the St. August Amphitheatre.

The band’s longstanding charity, Heard The World Fund, will receive a portion of the tour’s proceeds. Heard the World Fund has generated over $1.2 million to date to aid children and education initiatives in impoverished regions across the United States.

The tour comes pretty quickly after O.A.R.’s performance this year at the Oceans Calling Festival in Ocean City, Maryland, and their recent 2023 tour with the Goo Goo Dolls. According to the band’s lead vocalist Marc Roberge, there doesn’t seem to be much interest in taking a long break.

“It’s time for us to get out there and play a full set, jam out, and have another best summer of our lives,” said Roberge in a press release for the upcoming tour, “We can’t wait to hang this summer with our friends Fitz and the Tantrums, Ripe and DJ Logic!”

Presale tickets are currently live via Ticketmaster and StubHub and additional presales will be announced in the coming week. General on-sale will launch across all ticketing platforms on Friday, November 17 at noon local time.

Toubab Krewe Announces December Tour Dates With DJ Logic

Asheville, NC-based West African fusion ensemble  Toubab Krewe  has announced a run of winter tour dates in Colorado, Florida, South Carolina, and North Carolina with support from DJ Logic on select shows.

The seven-show run will kick off on December 8th at Cervantes’ Other Side in Denver, CO. The Matt Weiman Band will provide support in Denver and Rocket Parade will open the show the following night (12/9) at Caribou Room in Nederland, CO. DJ Logic will then join the tour in Jacksonville, FL on 12/14 and remain for shows at Charleston Pourhouse in Charleston, SC (12/15); Raleigh Pourhous e in Raleigh, NC (12/16); and Orange Peel in Toubab Krewe’s hometown of Asheville, NC (12/17). Chill Paxton will also join the bill in Raleigh, and Josh Blake Organ Trio will provide support in Asheville.
