And what kind of results are you getting with the Trip35? (sounds like underexposed) You can find plenty of good options with faster lenses, an f/1.8 lens would get you another 1 1/3 stops and slower shutter speeds. (Olympus35 SP comes to mind, but there are a ton of good options all in that same general domain).
