NOOOOO! NOT COACH PENNY!!!!

This game is very good, but I have some problems with it, SERIOUSLY,COACH PENNY IS A NIGHTMARE! SHE ALWAYS MAKES ME DO 2 PUZZLE PICTURES AND ITS TORTURE! WAAAAAAAAH! it’s glitchy and my profile sometimes turns into a sickly yellow blob with blank eyes so I kind of get creeped out and sometimes the screen stops when I log in and it’s just a plain green screen and the coach penny puzzle pictures are too much for me,and it usually glitches and I čåñt hear anything and theyrs just coach penny’s eyes,so like. #CoachPennyGetALife #RemoveYourPuzzlePictures! And also when I go to customize my tree the screen turns black! WAAAAHHHH! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! WAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! WAAAAH! WAAHHHHH! WAHHH! HELP ME! WAAAHHHHHHHHHH! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😢😢😢😢😫😫😫😫😖😖😖😩😩😩😩😩🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧😢😭😪😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 WAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Please UPDATE!!

the game is great but i have some recommendations!

So i’m a student and i use reflex in my school. The game isn’t bad but i think it need some upgrades, i think you guys should add more eye colors. Maybe some eye colors like rainbow, orange, red, and yellow. their should also be an option that you could use dark eye colors. For example, you could customize the colors to be light or dark. You don’t need to do this but it would be awesome if you did, Also, there should be more clothes added to the game as well, Like how about pajamas or slippers? Or maybe some shirts on your favorite characters? You guys should also maybe add some custom shirts on you could make your own shirts? I think this would be great because there’s some kids with great drawing skills and they could make the shirt however they want. Also, you should add more games like giving ice cream or some holiday games like Halloween, Christmas, Easter, Or Valentine’s day. These can be temporary games until the holiday ends. Also you guys should add more clothes representing culture. Like those scarfs that muslims wear because it’s apart of their religion. Or maybe you guys should add some clothes for holidays. like Christmas or Halloween. Also there should maybe be backpacks or purses for the ones who like that style. You don’t need to add all these things, but it would be great if you did. Thank you for reading this!♥️

Parents, read this

I am a student and I’m in grade 3. I think reflex is a great app but in my opinion l think it needs some upgrades. Again this is in my opinion so just know that l don’t want you to change it (although that would be AWESOME) but l want you to hear me out. First, in the beginning you have to charge up the fact fair (I think that’s what it called). It chooses which activities you do. I think it would improve if us kids could choose. Anyway sometimes in the fact fair it would give you darts. The dart game is were you answer facts and if you get it right, it hits a balloon. Honestly l love that one but the problem is it times you while it’s shooting the darts. I think if you speed up the darts speed that would improve a lot. Second, The games are great but there’s a problem. I played this app for a YEAR with school now, and suddenly a game disappeared in my game field. I don’t think there’s a way to fix this. It’s weird how that just happened suddenly. I think it was a glitch. Thank you for reading this. This app is good and all, but l think it needs some upgrades.

Reflex: The Ultimate Math Fact Fluency Solution That Works!

Adaptive and individualized, reflex is the most effective system for mastering basic math facts in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division..

Here at ExploreLearning Reflex, we know that  fact fluency and automaticity are non-negotiables. These vital skills allow students to free up working memory for advanced problem-solving, both now and in the future as they tackle more complex math concepts. Not to mention, fact fluency significantly impacts student confidence (and overall attitudes about math!) and it’s a known predictor of standardized test performance.

But timed tests are boring, rote memorization is ineffective, and the options are endless when it comes to online math platforms. What makes Reflex different?

This isn’t our first fact fluency rodeo.

For over 13 years, Reflex has been trusted by educators and loved by students around the world.

25+ countries

Reflex promotes understanding rather than rote memorization.

Rather than skimming a multitude of math skills on the surface, Reflex is 100% focused on math fact fluency, allowing students to benefit from the most focused and purposeful instruction. Built on a fact family approach, Reflex uses a variety of explicit strategies to introduce new facts, including the commutative property, rule-based patterns, and visual models.

Reflex is research-based and effective.

Reflex uses research-proven methods and innovative technology to provide the most effective math fact fluency solution available. Research shows that across multiple grade levels, standardized tests, and assessments, students who use Reflex score higher and grow faster than their peers . Schools and districts have seen serious results with Reflex to close achievement gaps and propel students forward in math in a short amount of time.

Reflex is adaptive, meeting all students where they are.

Reflex continuously monitors students’ performance to help them achieve accomplishments at their own pace. As a student progresses in a Reflex game, the system continuously adjusts the difficulty of fact retrieval based on their progress, providing an adequate level of challenge within the limits of current abilities. By delivering the right facts at the right time for each student, Reflex quickly and effectively helps students achieve automaticity—allowing them to focus all their mental resources on learning new skills and more advanced problem-solving, such as simplifying  fractions or solving word problems.

Reflex puzzle example

Once a preliminary level of recall exists for a given fact, Reflex introduces retrieval speed as a modest performance requirement using a “Picture Puzzle.”

As recall strengthens, these facts start appearing in fun, fast-paced games that foster automaticity.

Grade levels: Reflex is designed for grades 2-6, ideal for daily practice, interventions, or enrichment.

Standards : Reflex supports curriculum standards and can supplement any math curriculum.

Languages: Experience Reflex in English, Spanish, or French to help all learners develop math proficiency, regardless of their native language.

Reflex supports:

  • All three RTI tiers
  • Students at risk, on grade level, or above grade level
  • Students with disabilities, including autism and other cognitive disabilities
  • Students with learning disabilities, such as dyslexia and dyscalculia
  • Students with reduced keyboarding or visual processing skills

Reflex is fun!

No boring flashcards here! From serving aliens ice cream to piloting a hot air balloon, students develop fluency while staying engaged with fast-paced games that don’t feel like work . It’s no wonder teachers give Reflex an average rating of 9.1 out of 10 !

Reflex is gamified with four key program elements that drive student engagement and personal learning agency:

Fair icon

Crabby’s Fact Fair: Students play carnival games that assess their progress and guide subsequent learning.

Practice icon

Coaching Activities: Students receive explicit instruction to learn new facts or review material that requires additional practice.

Token icon

Fluency Games: Students build fluency through exciting, adaptive games that reward both effort and progress.

Tree icon

Personalization: Students can spend tokens to customize their personal avatars and decorate their Progress Trees.

Go for the Green Light!

Reflex uses the Green Light as a key motivator for students. Once a student answers a certain number of facts correctly, a Green Light illuminates in the upper right corner of their screen, marking the completion of a successful day of fact fluency practice. After achieving the Green Light, students can spend tokens and unlock additional Reflex games .

Reflex supports teachers and administrators.

Reflex is  easy to implement , making it an ideal tool for veteran teachers, new educators, or substitutes in the classroom. On average, students can complete a Reflex session within 10-20 minutes. It is recommended that students achieve the Reflex Green Light at least three times per week.

Reflex includes  intuitive and powerful reporting for administrators and teachers to monitor student usage and celebrate progress. As students work on Reflex, the program monitors usage and fact fluency progress. Reflex data is available every 24 hours through individual and classroom reports . Teachers can print customizable student certificates to celebrate fluency milestones and increase classroom motivation.

When using Reflex, teachers are supported with:

  • Live and pre-recorded professional development (including one free live workshop with every site license!)
  • Online and offline resources
  • Digital learning communities

Reflex is award-winning and recognized for impactful results.

Math fact practice is fun!

The student experience of Reflex centers around a variety of modern, action-packed games . We have heard stories from many teachers, principals and parents about how eager students are to "play" Reflex.

Students have asked to stay in from recess to work on Reflex, have come in to school early to get to the computer lab, and have even asked to trade in their TV time for more time to use Reflex!

Think about that. With Reflex, kids would rather work on their math facts than watch TV.

An adaptive solution

Research has shown the importance of continuously differentiating instruction and practice to each student's needs and abilities at a given point in time.

ExploreLearning Reflex takes advantage of the latest math fact fluency research and presents an adaptive, individualized system. It continuously monitors each student's progress and creates the optimal learning experience for each child.

Reflex is proven effective. See the case studies .

More than just fun and games

Reflex's powerful reporting features allow teachers and administrators to monitor progress, recognize milestones, and identify problems.

Reports are available for each student, class, and school, and can be filtered by demographic categories. These reports are designed to work for RTI reporting as well as AYP reports.

Reflex is completely online, so all of the games and reports are available anytime, anywhere.
