Great show! I bought SLF albums in the 80's, but just got to see them now. I'm now 76, well worth the wait.If it wasn't for college radio stations, WPRB in Princeton,NJ in particular, I would never have heard this great band.

Superb show loads of old favourites; Suspect Device, State of Emergency, Wasted Life, Law and Order, Tin Soldiers, Listen, Nobodys Hero's amongst others and of course the anthemic Alternative Ulster! Plus a hand full of more recent songs,16 shots ,Guitar and Drum , Strummerville, Harp, Drinking Again etc. Jake and the boys never dissapoint.

Supported by Eddie and the Hot Rods who were also brilliant.

Utterly brilliant show. After seeing the fingers same time last year I feel this year they were better. Even the crowds wearing fingers t-shirt were larger in number in the airport coming in and then in the various pubs we visited.

Already booking for next year in the hope they bring it on again with an equally brilliant support line up

Stiff Little Fingers reschedule UK tour for the third time

Irish punk-rockers announce new dates originally scheduled for 2020, with their Sure Wish We Had 20/20 Vision tour now booked for 2022

When the pandemic first hit early last year, artists across the globe were faced with the reality of having to cancel or postpone all their booked shows, pinning their hopes upon the live circuit being back up and running in time for 2021. 

However, now the new year is upon us, there still seems to be no end in sight, and many artists – including Irish punks Stiff Little Fingers – have pushed their newly rescheduled dates back even further. 

It’s already been a long wait for the group, with their original dates being set to take place in March 2020. The shows were rescheduled for September 2020, then March of this year, but unfortunately, with the Covid outbreak still very much at large, have now been booked for March 2022. Joining them as special guests on all shows (aside from the Troon Concert Hall date) will be The Professionals and TV Smith, with Neville Staple Band as special guests in London only.

There’s a few alterations to take note of: the Newcastle date has had a venue change from the O2 Academy to the City Hall with a standing floor, as well as the Portsmouth Pyramids show being moved to Bournemouth O2 Academy. The show at Troon Concert Hall is now to take place July 31 2021, permitting that gigs can take place by then. If not, this date will move to March 16 2022.

Frontman Jake Burns has thanked fans for not giving up on the band throughout their rescheduling: “Where to begin? Firstly, we want to thank our audience for sticking with us on this and we hope all will be resolved soon and we can get back to what we do best," he said in a statement.

"Also, many thanks to the promoters, agents and management who have worked so hard to move these dates around through nobody’s fault. And thanks also to our friends The Professionals, TV Smith & Neville Staple for staying with us till 2022. Stay Healthy and hope to see everyone soon.”

Tickets for the show at Troon Concert Hall are now available to purchase , as well as tickets for any of the other newly rescheduled dates . All tickets that were bought for the 2020 shows are still valid for the new tour.

Stiff Little Fingers announce rescheduled tour dates (UK)

Stiff Little Fingers have announced that their UK tour that was due to take place later this year has been rescheduled for 2022. All previously purchased tickets will remain valid for the new dates. Their show in Troon is still planned for July 2021 but if it is not safe the show will also be moved to March 2022. The Professionals and TV Smith will be joining the band on all dates of the tour and Neville Staple will join them for their London show. Stiff Little Fingers released No Going Back in 2014. You might usually turn to Ticketmaster for concert tickets, but that’s not the best source for tickets to Sheeran’s shows. For one thing, his entire series of show dates isn’t offered on this platform, and some of his dates that are offered on TicketMaster are totally sold out. Here are your options:

• Ticket reseller StubHub has seats for shows like the fast-approaching Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. There, prices start at a little over $200.
• SeatGeek also has tickets to some U.S. shows, the cheapest going for just under $200.
• Both StubHub and SeatGeek have tickets to many of Sheeran’s international concerts as well.
• Many of Sheeran’s shows take place at music festivals that often sell tickets directly on their websites. There are often different options, such as a day pass or a 3-day VIP package. For example, the Boston Calling Musical Festival , where Sheeran will play on May 24, currently has eight ticket options still available, with prices ranging from $194 to nearly $3,000.
• Meanwhile, the BottleRock Napa Valley festival only has single-day general admission tickets left, going for $233 apiece; the four other ticketing options are sold out.

When Do Ed Sheeran Tickets Go On Sale?

Tickets are on sale now and some of the shows—including July 12 in Poland, July 27 in the Czech Republic, and August 3 in Lithuania—have already sold out. Check out reseller sites like StubHub and SeetGeek to try to snag tickets to sold-out shows.

How Much Are Ed Sheeran Tickets?

Sheeran’s three American concerts start around $200 a ticket. For the international stops on his tour, ticket prices vary and use different currencies, based on location. For the Lucca Summer Festival in Italy, there are three different ticket options, ranging from €78 ($83) to €130 ($138). Other festivals have just one ticket option, such as Euro Fan Fest , which starts pricing at €69 ($73).

The cost can also vary depending on whether you buy a standing-only ticket or a seated one. For the Hipodrome show in Croatia , you can stand for €90 ($96) or sit starting at €100 ($106).

Some of Sheeran’s concert tickets are for sale in currencies besides the EUR or USD, including the Stavernfestivalen in Norway. Tickets on the Stavern festival’s website start at 190 NOK, which is the equivalent of about $17. Meanwhile, tickets to the Polsat Plus Arena in Poland cost 344 PLN, or $84. Prices for Sheeran’s Puskas Arena show in Hungary begin at 24,900 HUF, equating to $67.

Of course, currency rates change often, so make sure to check them before you buy your ticket to avoid any unwanted surprises. A good place to do that is using a Euros to Dollar converter or, for other European currency, a converter with rates for over 200 countries.

About Regina Spektor

Regina Spektor calls them sandcastles. There’s a million of them, songs that rise up and multiply in her brain — the fruits of months, sometimes years, of channeling and crafting. But what happens to them when it’s time to make new music? “They all have to be slowly washed away. Some of them are really well built, and they’re really high up on the beach,” she says. “It all has to be gone, and then I can start to hear new songs and make a new record.”

Starting with a clean slate, with six momentous years between albums, Spektor returned in 2022 with Home, before and after. The eagerly awaited eighth studio album was the follow-up to 2016’s Remember Us to Life. It paired Spektor with John Congleton (St. Vincent, Sharon Van Etten, Angel Olsen), who produced the album from afar in Los Angeles with Spektor co-producing in upstate New York.

The years between her albums weren’t exactly fallow. In 2016, at her friend Lin-Manuel Miranda’s invitation, she contributed a song (“Dear Theodosia,” featuring Ben Folds) to The Hamilton Mixtape. Former New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio declared Regina Spektor Day in her hometown in June 2019, she got a street sign with her name at the Bronx Walk of Fame, and that same month staged a sold out residency on Broadway at the legendary Lunt- Fontanne Theatre.

Her work for television and film continued. “You’ve Got Time,” from Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black, entered the pantheon of classic TV theme songs, so much so that Spektor released an orchestral version of the award-winning tune for the final episode. She wrote “One Little Soldier” for the closing credits of the film Bombshell and multiple songs for the animated series Central Park.

Time has been kind to Spektor’s work. Twenty years have passed since she self-released her 2001 debut, 11:11, which recently received a remastered reissue, as well as a limited-edition box set. In the decades since, Spektor, who was born in Moscow, Russia and raised in the Bronx, New York, has defied classification. With a sophisticated marriage of classical training and a gift for sharp pop hooks and nuanced lyrics, she has created her own genre. She makes Regina Spektor music.

We begin our Moscow tour beneath the city, exploring the underground palace of the Moscow Metro. From the Square of Revolution station, famous for its huge statues of soviet people (an armed soldier, a farmer with a rooster, a warrior, and more), we’ll move onto some of the most significant stations, where impressive mosaics, columns, and chandeliers will boggle your eyes! Moreover, these stations reveal a big part of soviet reality — the walls depict plenty of Propaganda , with party leaders looking down from images on the walls. Your local guide will share personal stories of his/her family from USSR times, giving you insight into Russia’s complicated past and present. Then we’re coming back up to street level, where we’ll take a break and refuel with some Russian fast food: traditional pancakes, called bliny. And then, stomachs satiated, we are ready to move forward! We’ll take the eco-friendly electric trolleybus, with a route along the Moscow Garden Ring. Used mainly by Russian babushkas(grannies) during the day, the trolleybus hits peak hours in the mornings and evenings, when many locals use it going to and from their days.
