WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT US

Had a great time with GCT! Heather did a great job at the counter getting us any gear we needed throughout our week, and Steve did a great job on our one day tour. Our group had a variety of skill levels and he found terrain that kept everybody challenged. Most of Boulder and Frisbee common areas were pretty tracked out but he found us plenty of untouched areas. I would definitely recommend it to anyone heading to Revelstoke. He will give you some great pointers, regardless of your skill level. Our only regret is that we didn’t do it earlier in the week. I would recommend a guided day trip on your second day.

We booked a guide for 3 days, our group was a mixed bag of guys that have rode the mountains a fair bit and couple including myself with very little mountain riding experience and limited amount of seat time in recent years. We had Oli as our guide and he was amazing. Listened to our likes and dislikes and found us amazing areas to ride for all of our group members. Couldn’t be happier with the experience and would recommend them to anyone who doesn’t have much experience or knowledge of the area. Thank you

James Dawson

Matt is an amazing guide, would recommend anyone who does a tour asks for Matt. First day he warmed us up to the skills behind mountain sledding. As well he took us to some very breath taking views. Not to mention our lunch spot, which was in a Cave. Second day he took us to do some tree riding in some nice valleys. On the third day went to some higher spots, even got to get to a summit. During our whole time Matt was getting cool videos and pictures of me and my dad. Overall the best vacation I have ever said, snow condition were incredible, a true paradise for any sledder.

Snowmobile Vacation Testimonials

Paul, australia.

I had a fantastic adventure. The standard of equipment, accommodation & food where all very good, say a four or five on your questionnaire. The organization was very professional and I was very comfortable with the standard of guidance and the expectations required of my abilities. The trails where exciting with a suitable level of demand as to make every day different and interesting. Most importantly, I found everyone very friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience that much better. I wouldn't hesitate to do the whole experience again. Thank you very much for making this part of my Canadian trip a memorable one.

Bob, Connecticut

As an aggressive rider with 40 years of experience, I was a little nervous after seeing the trip plan, but Gary created a tour that fit our group perfectly by matching our ability, desires and experience. It couldn’t have gone any better. We had an excellent blend of sightseeing, wooded terrain, open field and power line runs with great stops along the way. A+++ trip for sure. We can’t wait until 2021’s trip.

Fred, New Hampshire

I don’t know how you could improve the trip.

Jay from Michigan

You put on a hell of a show Gary. Now that you know what we are made of, please start thinking about what next year’s trip will entail.

Capt. Dan, Vermont

I'm still smiling. What an incredible week. Conditions were unbelievable and with snowmobiling that isn't always possible. Everything you told us back in September was true, from how important a support vehicle ca be to the morning meetings. Your wealth of knowledge of the area and to snowmobiling was first class. Bonvoyage Snow Adventures is a first class group, from the owner to the guides. None of us will forget Gary giving up his sled for a day so Dave could ride. That decision alone showed me what kind of peopleI was riding with and how important the customer was. We as a group had a great time and your leadership made out time out on the trail an unforgettable vacation. THANK YOU! Hopefully we can all stay in touch as we all have made new friendships. Anytime you're in the area stop in no inviation is needed. Thanks again .

Bob, California

The trip description on the Bonvoyage website was extremely accurate. Fantastic scenery, well maintained trails, well-appointed lodging, incredible food topped off with spending time with a group of amazing individuals. I'm not one who has a "bucket list" but a return trip would be at the top. Sincere thanks to Gary, his family and his numerous contacts throughout Quebec for allowing me to participate in a journey of a lifetime.

Leon, Massachusetts

Gary, I want to express my thanks for facilitating the trip of a lifetime. As we rode along, and we always rode hard, I began to realize it is exactly as our guide Chris said, "It is not about the miles, it is about the smiles." I came for the riding but really enjoyed the company. Our group was exceptional, always jumped to help, always a great attitude and always a laugh over a beer at night. Our other guide Jean was very friendly and accommodating. The trails were amazing; the riding was challenging, and the trip amazing. I loved the change in venues from rustic to pampered. This trip is exactly as described, but had so many surprises. It tested man and machine, the intensity of the day matched by the laughs at night. Thanks again .

Roland, Vermont

I believe I speak for the group when I say the trip was first class and great enjoyment for all of us. It was nice to see the fantastic scenery and awesome trail system. I will be giving Bonvoyage nothing but great press. Chris, you always gave us the feeling that you were putting our interest first and Gary, you are running a great service second to none. But the lasting impression you left with me was when you gave up your ride with your son so Dave could ride with his friends, a very first class move sir. Robert too was kind and treated us all very well. In closing, I got the feeling you enjpyed our company as much as we enjoyed yours. We all got the chance to let the trip be a memory of a life time. To the "Great Gaspe", where the trails are super highways paved with "WHITE GOLD".

Beth from Wisconsin

We thought it would be a trip of a lifetime, but it may have to become an annual trip! Excellent experience - thrilling trails and scenery, fun people and great food. Gary and Denis are great hosts and guides.

Dan from New Hampshire

As an FYI to anyone contemplating a trip like this...I highly recommend contacting Gary Pruitt of Bonvoyage Snow Adventures. Gary and his crew are true professionals and will give you the experience of a lifetime! For what Bonvoyage offers, you cannot do it on your own for the same price. I tried! Don't ask me how Gary does it, but he does and I cannot say enough good about him.

The Best Guided Snowmobile Tours in Ontario: Ride With The Pros

snowmobile tours edmonton

Almost anywhere you visit around the world there are guided tours to be had. Often, having a guide is the best, quickest and easiest way to see someplace you’ve never been or to try something new. Snowmobiling’s no different and a few Ontario companies offer multi-day, guided tours on #ontariosnowtrails as an alternative to saddle bagging on your own self-guided expedition.

Typically, there are two options for guided tour packages. One is for those with their own permitted sleds . The other is for those who choose to rent a sled and all the necessary gear as part of a tour package. Similarly, riders can choose guided tours of various durations, and distances and in a variety of Ontario regions on OFSC trails . Some companies also offer day rides or even hourly outings for those who are short on time or are just getting started.

P1000808

The key is to go with a well-established, reputable company that has plenty of experience with guided tours under their belt. Along with professional guides, they usually provide a support vehicle and trailer for transporting luggage and spare sled(s), and have pre-determined routes and stops fully planned and organized well in advance so all you have to do is go along for a hassle-free ride.

A guided tour is a great way to go places you might not have visited on your own, to expand your sledding horizons and to learn more about sledding (and your own capabilities) before embarking on your own. To get you started, here's a list of guided snowmobile tours to check out in Ontario this winter.
