DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are thieves and steal money from their customers! I paid a £150 deposit in good faith, which I was told was refundable should I not wish to go ahead my booking. I ended up booking tickets myself and they refused to give me my money back. I lodged a complaint and despite having evidence and their calls being recorded, they fobbed me off and keep telling me they will sort this out and get back to me. This has been going on for the last 6 months. Southall Travel are thieves and liars and should be ashamed of themselves.

I have had the worst experience of my life, also the most expensive flight I have ever paid for with AIR INDIA, returning home 03/02/23( Never again). I have booked Flights with Southall Travel since the 80's so felt I could still trust them for a good deal. Return Flights costing £3800.00 for crap seats with an 89yr old woman seated at the back of the plane who also needed wheelchair assistance is really disgusting behaviour. Never again, also asking many passengers how much they had paid £1300 was the most expensive !!! I have officially complained to Air India also. The cost of living these days are so difficult normally and as this wasn't an actual holiday, what a big mistake using your company, MG Innes

Scamming agency- DO NOT USE. They refuse to refund the money for a cancelled flight inspite of airlines saying they have refunded more than a month ago. We have also found out that they lie in their website about being register with ABTA for dispute resolution. This agency SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO OPERATE!!! AVOID at all cost! No point in contacting the customer service either!

No such thing as a "youth" ticket for 12-15 year olds Decided to book a holiday to Dubai at midnight and instead of booking directly on Emirates website we thought we'd call Southall Travel, knowing they'd be open. Wish we hadn't! We booked for 2 adults, a 12 year old and 5 year old. A 12 year old is classed as an adult, but when we went to check in, Emirates website said our eldest was booked on a child ticket. We called Southall Travel who assured us that our 12 year old was booked on a "youth" ticket and would be fine to travel. We called Emirates to check as we didn't want any problems at the airport. Emirates told us there is no such thing as a "youth" ticket and that Southall Travel would need to reissue the ticket as an adult ticket. Southall Travel wouldn't reissue the ticket so we asked them to send us an email to confirm that we wouldn't have any problems at the desk. We then spoke to a friend of ours who works for Emirates and she also said she'd never heard of a youth ticket before. We called ST again and asked them to reissue the ticket. After a few phonecalls, they did and we travelled to Dubai with no issues. However, we had the same issue on our return journey. This time, we managed to check in online fine, but when we went to check in at the desk, Emirates said the same thing, that our 12 year old had been issued a child ticket and not an adult ticket. They then asked us to go to the ticket desk at Dubai airport and speak with our travel agent. Again, after many phonecalls, no luck with ST. The man at the desk got fed up and said put the phone down I will issue you an adult ticket myself! Long story short, don't trust Southall Travel to book you a ticket for a 12-15 year old - as they class this as a "youth" ticket - when there is no such thing. What should have been a straight forward trip to Dubai, became a stressful experience - with many unnecessary phone calls between ST and Emirates, and also a 12 year old who thought we may not be able to travel! I definitely won't be using Southall Travel again and won't recommend it either. All of the travel consultants we spoke to were arrogant, patronising and unhelpful. I write this review so that other parents aren't faced with a similar situation.

DO NOT!!! use this firm. They took £15204.44 off me for £1520.04 flights and I then had to pay £240 to get it back. If you want trusted cheap flights use 'Google flights' Then you can book direct with the Airline.

Rubbish travel agent I booked tickets to travel to India via jet airways which failed while i was in India I contacted them and travel agent instead of helping started selling me tickets - return for £1700 pounds per person - Some of my friends bought it. I purchased new tickets to fly back and now I am claiming money via credit card chargeback scheme and this crooks are preventing them They are not ATOL protected and they sell tickets for airlines that is not ATOL protected too. so providing wrong information to customers Customer service remains poor and they do not have complaint procedure/policy or department. I have serious concerned about this travel agent. I am in process of reporting them for fraud.

I am angry I am hurt by southal travel treatment I was coustomer since 2012 My email was hacked so I created different e mail , by the time my phone contract was finished so I took different phone number it wasn't any other matters with change e mail and change phones I changed the address Iused to buy tickets and travel same name same everything Now I needed my 5 years travel history for official reason and called them in between seven days I spoke to 10 agents of southal travel I have e mail customer care but they didn't back me for neither call or email there was no luck what's so ever. I decided to talk to the manager one person came phone he introduced himself as manager called Reymond at first he seems genuinely want solve my problems he crossed check my previous number my previous address it was fine I was talking to him in Friday and promise me that he will give me by Monday . when Monday came he didn't call or email me again I called him and find out he was changed person data protection act he can't give it to me again I did offer him that any sort of documents driving license or passport which I always travel theare tickets I was so politely request them no luck I am amezed that the data they are talking about that's my data I am ready to verify even in court They are very unhelpful unprofessional I am very sad thire treatment

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Once you have booked and they have your money they do not want to help you. They are not bothered about telling you they won't help you. The staff are rude and the managers are just as bad. The flights were cheap but it's not worth it. I will never use this terrible service again. I was using them to book flights for my wedding in Thailand. I can't undo my booking. I will ensure nobody else attending the wedding use them. I would advise you to look elsewhere.

Why has my prior review not been posted? Because Southall Travel has somehow had it removed? So that other consumers won't know that they are thieving criminals? I phoned my bank today, finally getting through. They were able to tell me that, contrary to Southall Travel's claims, no refund was ever issued. For three weeks this company has lied through its teeth to me, claiming money had been refunded but knowing full well it had not. My bank is launching an investigation. Please do not make the mistake of using this horrible company.

CORRUPT, FRAUDULENT CRIMINALS. Please don't make the mistake I did and have anything to do with them. I booked a flight with them online. They emailed me the next day and had me call them, when they told me that the flight wasn't available and actually I had to pay 200 extra pounds. I said no and they cancelled the flight. They informed me that the $700 I had paid would be back in my bank account within 72 hours. It has now been two weeks and no sign of my money. They are simply holding my money, which is utterly criminal and despicable. I have filed complaint with ABTA but doubt they will do much. Small claims court is my next step.

In response to the below from Southall Travel, I have provided you with my complaint reference number, which should be sufficient. Clearly it is not! The reference I was given via email when I stupidly paid you a deposit is: #1790-6673 and this was paid to you on 18.08.23. It has still not been returned to me despite this being promised (which you will see from the recorded calls). Again, my complaint reference number is: NS1589. I called your office again last week and spoke with Max. He said he’d call me back shortly but of course never did. This company is an absolute disgrace. I am getting legal advice and have also advised my credit card company.

False price match advertise

I have booked my ticket(s) in the past with Southall travel. However, post covid, the agents and the rules have completely changed. They advertise price match guarantee all day long on radio and TV adverts but the sales agent don't own their own advertise a d deny to look into it. Completely disgrace and disappointed service.

My specific requirement for flying to…

My specific requirement for flying to India was tricky due to work commitments and day, date and timing of flight from UK was critical. Returning back to the UK was not as critical but was still constrained by events here in the UK. Lucas managed to find flights that worked for both legs of journey for me and also made additional enquires with Air India for over sized baggage that I was going to carry. Very Good customer experience that is rare to find these days.

This is my second 5* review about Ram at Southall travels. I will write again and again about the service that Ram has provided during the booking of our tickets. He has also helped my friend to book emergency tickets. The great thing as why we reach out to Ram every time is his extreme level of patience and to make the customer less stressed. Professional & Courteous Travel Agent

I have been using Southall Travel to book my holidays for the past 18 years. I have dealt with so many of their helpful travel agents to book various holidays. This year I have been in contact with Sam who has helped me book a holiday to Dubai and another to Thailand. He has been extremely helpful and with the Thailand holiday he has been very patient. Mostly as I was indecisive and he was very patient and provided me with a number of options. Not at all pushy to book and left me to check the quotes in my own time. Covid cancelled flight vouchers honoured. Very helpful

They honoured a voucher for a Covid flight that got cancelled with no issues, so impressed by them at the start. A guy call Lucas has been so supportive and helpful throughout, with booking new flights (2 years after voucher was recieved). Even gave me a direct phone number for him, that he is very good at answering and helping everytime.

Ask for Naina, customer service is exemplary.

My 4th or 5th time booking through Southall Travel and as usual, they got the deal we were looking for just right. I was doing a two part holiday which involved an AirBnB so I thought maybe I’d find a better deal myself booking directly or through booking.com but I’ve literally spent days glued to my screen searching for the best hotel deal and after 1 phone call to Southall and the trip is booked and paid for. Just so easy. Naina was my advisor this time and she was just the best I’ve had in 10 years. I’m very indecisive and made the poor lady search and amend my searches countless times but she done it all without ever making me feel bad about my constant changes. A proper customer service agent with a fantastic attitude. I hope that level of service gets rewarded at Southall because it’s so hard to find. Anyone looking to book a holiday, save yourself the headache and just book though this company or reputable agents. They’re worth it!

What a fantastic travel agency, especially our agent Naina who has booked not just this trip to Dubai, but a fair few of our family holidays. Southall Travel are brilliant for Middle East and beyond. So upset not with the Travels and the services offered, but the staff I talked to, first I felt he wasn't experienced enough, then I gave him the benefit of the doubt, thinking everyone makes mistakes, might be he is new to the job. Second interaction when I called to have a confirmation about my payment it felt he was absolutely rude, he told me that the travels didn't receive my payment, definitely I will be out of my sound mind and answered in a hurry. His behaviour was absolutely rude, i mean come on I work in hospitals where I deal with old people of different intellectual abilities and provides me wrong information at times, but its my job and that is why I keep my patience. This is not an attitude that will be acceptable in customer services department. So upset, I chose Southall Travels because my friends told me it was good. No 4.5 star organization's employee should have this attitude.

Scam fraud ,missold packages with no support .

“Worth experience ever”

I had the worst ever experience in booking a flight with Southall travels. The agent who handled me did not understand me and kept going for 2 hours. After a frustrating conversation of close to 2-2.5 hours I booked the tickets to get it done with only to find that the tickets are way cheaper in the airline site. Don't ever use southall travels

“Poor and Dodgy service”

Very poor service, dodgy deals and false commitments. When it comes to refund... it is a nightmare. Soon after booking confirmation they start changing the flights dates & timing. Too difficult to get hold of someone on phone. Their phone are most of time on auto repliers. Their flexible ticket means if you refund you will have to pay £200 per ticket. My refund dispute is pending for the last four months Please keep away from this fraud company.

Hi, I am currently taking Southall to court because I claim to have been misrepresented by the sales person who sold me two business class tickets on the 11 th Oct 2019. What they did, nt explain to me was that there a three different types of business class ticket through Oman Air (Lite) normal and prime. I have asked for a transcript of the booking, but so far they have not sent it even though their Solicitors claims that it does exist. I will report back if litigation takes place in a small claims court and I give full details.

Booked flights which were cancelled due to PIA being suspended. Southall made no communication regarding the cancellation or the refund. I have had to call them to get updates. They have had my refund for over a week now and have not bothered contacting me. They have advised 14 days to process refund when I contacted them. I have used them a few times. You don't know how good a company is till there is an issue. I will definitely not be using southall again.

Rubbish travel agent I booked tickets to travel to India via jet airways which failed while i was in India I contacted them and travel agent instead of helping started selling me tickets - return for £1700 pounds per person - Some of my friends bought it. I purchased new tickets to fly back and now I am claiming money via credit card chargeback scheme and this crooks are preventing them They are not ATOL protected and they sell tickets for airlines that is not ATOL protected too. So providing wrong information to customers Customer service remains poor and they do not have complaint procedure/policy or department. I have serious concerned about this travel agent. I am in process of reporting them for fraud.

Quite disappointed- Messed up my booking very bad customer service had to call several times we booked in advance and the e- ticket issued after 15 days we get a mail saying our return flight has been changed due to the airline schedule change when asked to cancel and refund were told it would take six weeks

Absolutely dreadful experience with Southall Travel, as usual. I've regretfully patronized this company since 2017, and they consistently disappoint. I would not use any other travel agent. Twice Southall travel has beat its competitors for me. This occasion I had Sebi helping me, my friend and I had a moderate size group travelling for a package holiday, and we had a budget but with specifications. Booking made through Southall travel…

Booking made through Southall travel with agent (Seb). Non-refundable deposit paid but then 24 hours later (at 11pm at night!) agent called to say that the booking could not be completed and we either needed to choose a more expensive hotel or cancel the booking. This is the definition of a con - shocking service

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are thieves and steal money from their customers! I paid a £150 deposit in good faith, which I was told was refundable should I not wish to go ahead my booking. I ended up booking tickets myself and they refused to give me my money back. I lodged a complaint and despite having evidence and their calls being recorded, they fobbed me off and keep telling me they will sort this out and get back to me. This has been going on for the last 6 months. Southall Travel are thieves and liars and should be ashamed of themselves. In response to the below from Southall Travel, I have provided you with my complaint reference number, which should be sufficient. Clearly it is not! The reference I was given via email when I stupidly paid you a deposit is: #1790-6673 and this was paid to you on 18.08.23. It has still not been returned to me despite this being promised (which you will see from the recorded calls). Again, my complaint reference number is: NS1589. I called your office again last week and spoke with Max. He said he’d call me back shortly but of course never did. This company is an absolute disgrace. I am getting legal advice and have also advised my credit card company.
