Financial Aid & Scholarships

When you apply to St. Lawrence, you're automatically considered for merit scholarships. To determine eligibility for additional types of aid, complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) as soon as possible.

Take the Smile Test

To get a feel for the campus atmosphere when touring colleges, Kate Songer ‘19 gave each school a point when a current student returned her smile, offered help, or held a door open for her. The “Smile Test” helped her experience the welcoming St. Lawrence community on her visit, and we encourage you to try it for yourself.

St. Lawrence College Hosts Virtual Open House

St. Lawrence College will be hosting its annual fall Open House virtually through Zoom on November 20, 2021, from 8:30-11:30am EST.

• Program sessions will run at 8:30 and 10:30am EST.
• Services session will begin at 9:30am EST.

The virtual events are prospective students’ opportunity to connect with faculty, get in-depth knowledge about SLC programs and services for students, and have questions answered.

Attendees will learn more about:

• Programs, learning experience, and student placements
• Student life, athletics, and wellness
• Residence, financial aid, and student success

Those who register for Open House will be eligible to win:

• Apple iPads
• Beats by Dre headphones

In addition, International Career Days will offer live panels of current students and alumni to share their experiences and answer questions for prospective students across the globe.

• Europe, Middle East, Africa, South Asia, China, Vietnam, Korea, Central and South America
• 9 panels total from November 24 to December 6
• Each panel is scheduled to suit international time zones
• Learn about the pathways SLC offers, potential careers, job opportunities in Canada
